Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a role in stabilizing the economy, because they have the potential to create jobs and reduce unemployment and poverty rates in a country. Rungkut Lor Village, Surabaya City is a forum for MSME groups engaged in the culinary sector, especially traditional snacks. However, there are still obstacles in its development that require collaboration with other sectors. The aim of this research is to find out and describe Collaborative governance in Empowering MSMEs in Kampung Kue, Rungkut Lor, Surabaya City using the Collaborative governance theory quoted by Emerson and Nabatchi Perdana et al., (2021), namely the dynamics of collaboration, action in collaboration and its impacts and adaptations are the result of collaborative action. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The research results show that collaboration between stakeholders to empower MSMEs in Kampung Kue is already underway. However, in the process there has been no agreement or MoU between sectors responsible for empowerment.

Abstract

This study examines how leadership, work discipline, and work motivation affect employee performance, with work motivation as the mediator. This study involved 30 Cepogo sub-district office employees from Boyolali Regency. This research is quantitative. Data analysis with multiple regression. The coefficient of determination of 80.8% indicates that the independent variable explains most of the employee performance variables. There were 19.2% of variables that did not affect employee performance. The findings of this study show a strong relationship between leadership and work discipline with employee performance. There is a positive but not statistically significant effect on employee performance caused by leadership. The results of the indirect influence of leadership variables can be influenced by work motivation variables on employee performance variables. Work discipline cannot be influenced by work motivation because the results of such variables are too small to be influenced by motivation. This is because the results of direct influence are greater than the results of indirect influence.

Abstract

The East Java Provincial Social Service prioritizes the shackle-free East Java program. The program seeks to end the practice of shackling. In reality, the shackle problem is still found in East Java. The aim of the research is to examine the execution of the East Java shackles-free policy as a top priority initiative to help shackle victims regain their social function and spiritual well-being. In this work, a case study methodology uses qualitative research. Then, observation, documentation, and interviews were used to collect data. The six indicators used in this research include policy standards and aims, resources, implementing organization characteristics, relationships between organizations, implementers' attitudes, and the social, economic, and political environment. The study's findings indicate that East Java has not yet fully implemented the shackle-free program. It has been established that several districts and cities have not adopted the shackle-free program because social readiness is limiting their ability to do so. That's holding up the goal of East Java to get rid of shackles.
