Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, future orientation, financial attitude, and financial awareness on retirement planning among the sandwich generation in East Java. The sandwich generation, defined as individuals who are financially responsible for both elderly parents and children, faces unique pressures that may hinder their ability to prepare for retirement. A total of 165 respondents participated in this quantitative study, and data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings show that financial literacy has a negative effect on retirement planning, while future orientation, financial attitude, and financial awareness positively influence retirement planning behavior. These results highlight that behavioral and attitudinal aspects play a more significant role in shaping retirement planning compared to general financial knowledge. The practical implications highlight the need to broaden financial education beyond technical knowledge by strengthening future orientation, positive financial attitudes, and financial awareness through accessible training and digital tools. The government, financial institutions and policymakers are encouraged to provide transparent, flexible retirement products supported by targeted incentives for individuals with dual family responsibilities, in order to enhance retirement readiness among the sandwich generation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of firm size, profitability, leverage, dividend policy, and investment decision on firm value in industrial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2023 period. The population of this study consists of 63 companies, with 42 companies selected as samples using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using panel data regression. The results show that simultaneously, firm size, profitability, leverage, dividend policy, and investment decision have an effect on firm value. Partially, only dividend policy has a negative effect on firm value, while profitability, leverage, firm size, and investment decision have no significant effect. These findings indicate that a dividend policy that tends to distribute net income may be perceived negatively by investors, as it potentially reduces funds available for future investment and growth. Therefore, companies are advised to review their dividend policies and consider allocating more retained earnings for business development to enhance investor perceptions of the company’s growth prospects.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of sales growth, collateralizable assets, investment opportunity set, and managerial ownership on dividend policy among consumer non-cyclical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2021 to 2023. Using a quantitative approach with panel data regression analysis in STATA version 17, the study analyzes secondary data obtained from 41 purposively selected companies. The findings reveal that the investment opportunity set, measured by the market-to-book value of equity (MBVE), exerts a positive and significant effect on dividend policy. In contrast, sales growth, collateralizable assets, and managerial ownership show no statistically significant effect. The implications are that stability can minimize credit risk, careful management and transparency in profit allocation can reduce agency conflicts, and the level of managerial ownership does not necessarily exert a consistent influence on dividend policy. The study highlights the importance of maintaining strong investment prospects, implementing effective corporarate governance, and making strategic financial decision to support consistent and sustainable dividend distributions.

This research adopts a conclusive descriptive approach with a sample of 220 respondents, consisting of personal care product users aged 18–40 years who are interested in environmentally friendly products. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that: (1) green product has a positive and significant effect on green purchase intention of Mustika Ratu's Olive Oil, (2) green price positively and significantly influences green purchase intention, (3) green promotion also shows a positive and significant effect, and (4) social influence has a positive and significant impact on green purchase intention for the product.

Abstract

PT X is one of the operational regions that plays a vital role in supporting transportation services in Indonesia. Employee performance is a crucial factor in ensuring optimal service delivery. This study aims to examine and explain the influence of knowledge sharing and self-efficacy on employee performance through job satisfaction at PT X. The research employs a quantitative approach with non-probability purposive sampling, involving 40 employees as respondents. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.2.9. The results indicate that both knowledge sharing and self-efficacy have a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction. Additionally, self-efficacy directly influences employee performance. However, knowledge sharing does not directly affect employee performance. Furthermore, job satisfaction significantly affects employee performance and mediates the relationship between knowledge sharing and performance. Conversely, job satisfaction does not mediate the influence of self-efficacy on performance. These findings suggest that enhancing job satisfaction can strengthen the positive impact of knowledge sharing on employee performance, while self-efficacy independently contributes to performance outcomes. The study highlights the importance of fostering a collaborative knowledge culture and building employee confidence to improve organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

Globalization has significantly intensified business competition, with multinational corporations emerging as major contenders in increasingly open global markets. This development affects not only competition for consumers but also the competition to attract and retain competent employees with strong work ethics. E-commerce is a sector characterized by high market demand and a substantial contribution to current economic growth. Job seekers’ willingness to join a company is shaped by perceived organizational attractiveness. The study aims to analyze the influence of organizational attractiveness dimensions, including organizational attributes, experiences of responsibility, knowledge of results, and work meaningfulness, on job application intentions at e-commerce companies in Indonesia. A quantitative research method is used by using a survey. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed online. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with 132 respondents. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression for hypothesis testing. The results show that organizational attributes, experiences of responsibility, and work meaningfulness have a positive and significant effect on job application intentions at e-commerce companies. In contrast, knowledge of results did not significantly influence job application intentions. This research provides theoretical contributions to the development of the literature on organizational attraction and person–organization fit, as well as practical contributions for e-commerce companies in designing recruitment strategies to build a competitive talent pool.
