Abstract

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) has developed the latest application change for ordering and booking train tickets from KAI Access to Access by KAI on August 10 2023. It can be seen that the KAI application's Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) in 2023 will reach 4, 14 (very good). However, according to the Google Play Store and App Store review ratings in 2023, user satisfaction with the Access by KAI application is very low, with an average score of 2.1 (Google Play Store) and 1.5 (App Store). This research aims to discuss and analyse the influence of e-service quality and e-trust on continuance intention through e-satisfaction as a mediating variable in the Access by KAI application. This quantitative research uses path analysis statistics by taking a sample of 200 respondents using a non-probability sampling approach with purposive sampling. The findings of this research indicate that e-satisfaction is significantly influenced by e-service quality and e-trust. In addition, continuance intention is significantly influenced by e-service quality and e-satisfaction but not by e-trust. In addition, e-satisfaction mediates the relationship between e-service quality and e-trust on continuance intention. The implications of this research provide valuable insight for PT KAI to understand how improving e-service quality and e-trust can contribute to the continuance intention of application users. PT KAI can also design a marketing strategy that focuses on increasing e-satisfaction to ensure that increasing e-service quality and e-trust can influence the continuance intention of application users.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of R&D intensity, investment decisions, funding decisions and dividend policy on firm value. This study measures firm value by Price to Book Value (PBV). The population in this study consisted of 228 manufacturing industry sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), and financial reports were published annually from 2018 to 2022. The sample used in this study consisted of 14 companies, with sampling techniques through purposive sampling. The research method used in this study is quantitative and is categorised into descriptive research. The data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression. The results showed funding decisions have a significant negative effect, while investment decisions and dividend policies have a significant positive effect on firm value. Meanwhile, R&D intensity does not affect firm value. Therefore, researchers suggest using investment decisions, funding decisions, and dividend policies that affect firm value as considerations when making good investment decisions and getting the most profit.

The primary purpose of this study is to investigate and assess the individual’s emotional intelligence impact on their organisational commitment, with a specific focus on examining the mediating role played by self-efficacy at PT. X. This research uses a quantitative approach. The sampling technique uses non-probability sampling with a saturation sample type, where all population members are used as samples, with 42 respondents from PT. X employees. The statistical analysis used is partial least square (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS 4.0 software. The findings of this study explain that organisational commitment is not influenced by emotional intelligence; emotional intelligence has a significant positive effect on self-efficacy, self-efficacy has a significant positive effect on organisational commitment, and emotional intelligence has a positive effect on organisational commitment mediated by self-efficacy. This study implies that enhancing self-efficacy can optimise employee emotional intelligence’s effect on their commitment to the organisation.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of good corporate governance, leverage, and firm size on the financial performance of companies as measured by return on assets (ROA). The good corporate governance variable is proxied by board size, board independence and audit committee, while leverage is proxied by the debt-to-equity ratio (DER). The objects of the study are mining sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2019-2022. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, resulting in 41 companies that meet the criteria and mining sector companies that publish annual reports for 2019-2022. This study employs multiple linear regression techniques using IBM SPSS Statistics software. The results show that board size, leverage and firm size have a negative effect on the financial performance, while board Independence and audit committee have no effect on the financial performance.  The implications that can be applied by mining sector companies are reducing the size of the board of directors, optimising funding sources other than debt and reducing the number of high-maintenance assets to improve their financial performance.
