Abstract

Objective: To investigate whether ADSCs are capable of nerve repair in stress urinary incontinence. Material & Methods: Thirty rats were allocated to five groups for receiving a periurethral injection with Phosphate Buffer Saline (PBS) (B1,B2) and Adipose-derived Stem Cells (C1, C2). Functional assessments with Voided Stain on Paper (VSOP) Method were reassessed at 2 and 4 weeks after injection. The rat SUI model was generated by Vaginal Distention (VD). The regeneration of peripheral nerve was evaluated by PGP 9.5 immunohistochemical staining. Results: Results revealed significant peripheral nerve differences between ADSC group and other groups in 28 days using PGP 9.5 staining. Our functional assessment, Voided Stain on Paper (VSOP), showed that ADSC group had significant improvement in 14 days; unfortunately, our 28 days improvement was not substantial. Conclusion: Periurethral injection of ADSCs improves urine pattern in SUI-induced rats and increase the amount of peripheral nerve. This method may be a potential strategy for SUI treatment.

Abstract

The impact of globalization, changes in consumer demands, new technology, and new expectations from society have made organizations face new threats and opportunities. Organizational changes need to be made so that an organization can continue to have a competitive advantage and survive. Organizations really need to be able to find the right changes and manage those changes effectively. Change models that provide an overview of the important stages in an effective organizational change process have been developed by many researchers. Organizational change can occur whether planned or unplanned. Organizations can make changes to existing products, structures, strategies or people. Whatever type of change occurs in an organization, organizational change will fail if there is no effective communication, appropriate leadership, employee commitment, and readiness to change. Organizational leaders know that change needs to be managed effectively in order to achieve desired results. There are many factors that can create effective organizational change. This research focuses on the impact of leadership, communication and employee commitment on organizational change. Organization members who will implement changes in an organization. They may resist change if they do not have adequate information about why the organization needs change and what the results of the proposed change will be. In addition, leadership has a very important role in organizational change. Organization members need to feel a sense of security from their leaders, so they feel confident that change will improve the organization and bring benefits to all of them. Organization members really need to know whether the organization has the capability to implement the proposed changes. Keywords: communication, change management, employee commitment, leadership

Abstract

Global warming is characterized by increasing temperatures of the earth's atmosphere, ocean and land, resulting in extreme climate change. The effects of climate change will affect animal health through increased ambient temperature (heat stress). This study using Zebrafish as animal model like our previuous study because Zebrafish, have 70% identical genetic similarity to humans. In addition, Zebrafish have specific approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for new drug discovery research. Heat stress negatively affects animal health through an increase in Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS), especially in the reproductive system because it causes a decrease in reproductive efficiency, such as follicular development, oocyte quality, and oocyte maturation. Antioxidant supplementation, namely green tea extract, is needed to reduce the negative effects of heat stress. The purpose of this study was to analyze the difference of 4 µl dose of green tea extract (Camellia sinensis) on the diameter, viability, and Germinal Vesicle Breakdown (GVBD) rate of Zebrafish oocytes at normal temperature (28℃) and with exposure to heat stress (32℃; 34℃). Zebrafish oocytes were collected and grouped into 2 (two) treatment groups including, non-heat stress group (28℃) and heat stress group (32℃; 34℃) with 6 repetitions.  Quantitative data were processed using SPSS software with Two Way ANOVA analysis.  The results of Two Way ANOVA showed that green tea extract supplementation had a positive effect on the diameter, viability, and GVBD of Zebrafish oocytes. This is indicated by the significance of the percentage of diameter (P=0.002), viability (P=0.003), and GVBD rate (P=0.000).

Abstract

This research aims to optimize algebraic thinking in elementary school students through the application of a generative learning model. The research approach uses an experimental method with a post-test-only design. The research was conducted on grade V students of SD Negeri Kalisari 03, which consisted of 64 students from two classes which were then divided into 2 groups, namely the experimental class and the control class. Data analysis was carried out with descriptive and inferential statistics, with the help of SPSS, first a prerequisite test was carried out, namely a normality test and a homogeneity test, and the hypothesis of this research was carried out using the two-track variance analysis (ANOVA) method. The results of the study showed an increase by obtaining a significance value of less than 0.05 with a mean square of 476,190. This means that the KBA of students who learn using the Generative model is better compared to students who learn using the Expository model. The application of the generative learning model can improve students' algebraic thinking skills in two indicators of algebraic thinking ability, namely: generalizing the arithmetic pattern of a problem and understanding mathematical modeling from the four indicators used in this study.

Abstract

Constraints faced in Delivering Emergency Room Patients dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten is the absence of an information system that provides information about the availability of patient admission tools in the form of wheelchairs / wheeled beds, patient diagnoses to be handled regarding the disease they suffer from the usual, moderate, severe categories, and information on patient ward rooms (empty / full). This causes if there is a patient who comes for intensive treatment and requires a medium of delivery in the form of a wheelchair / wheeled bed, the officer cannot know quickly because he has to wait for the patient to come, as well as the officers' ignorance quickly about the patient's condition at that time in the form of a diagnosis of common disease, moderate , or severe because from the diagnosis the officer can be careful in delivering the ward room, and another obstacle is the information on the availability of the ward, when the officer brings the patient to the ward room, sometimes all the rooms are full so they are transferred to another room besides the emergency room, even though the distance between the emergency room and other rooms are far enough away to put the patient's health at risk. In overcoming the existing problem the writer makes an information system using data collection methods by observation, interviews, and documentation. While the author's system development method uses the waterfall method, the database uses MySQL, and the Laravel framework. The result of this research is an information system for Emergency Room Patient Delivery dr. Soeradji Tirtonegoro Klaten based on a website with a MySQL database and the Laravel framework, for testing using the blackbox method with the results of the performance of each button being successful / successful according to its function
