Abstract

For the past 10 years, Ngawi Regency has remained in the top 10 poverty zones in East Java Province, indicating that the welfare of the people in Ngawi Regency is still very low. The main objective of this study is to examine how variations in the number of working people and the level of regional income contribute to economic growth and subsequently affect the poverty rate. This study uses quantitative analysis and statistical techniques to analyze relevant data collected from Ngawi Regency. The population in this study used Ngawi Regency with research samples of Labor, Regional Ali Revenue (PAD) and Economic Growth. The results of this study indicate that Labor directly has a positive and significant effect on the Poverty Level. PAD directly has a negative and significant effect on the Poverty Level. Labor and PAD indirectly have no effect on the Poverty Level through Economic Growth. Economic Growth directly has a positive and insignificant effect on the Poverty Level. These findings can be used to inform policy-making decisions and develop effective strategies for poverty alleviation and sustainable development in the region.

Abstract

The development of an interactive e-module based on the book creator application in the subject of Creative Products and Entrepreneurship aims to complement learning and as an alternative used in teaching and learning. This type of research used the ADDIE development model. The average validation score for material experts is 90% with very feasible criteria, the average validation result for media experts is 96% with very feasible criteria, the average validation result for linguists is 96% with very feasible criteria. The response value of the field trial students obtained an average of 87.1% with very decent criteria.

Abstract

Unemployment is one of the problems that hit almost all countries in the world. This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurial mindset, and entrepreneurial intention. The study used descriptive quantitative method and involved approximately 157 university students who enrolled in entrepreneur course. The sampling technique used in this study is probability sampling with questionnaire as a data collection technique. This study used path analysis as data analysis technique. Findings indicate that: (1) there is a positive and significant influence between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial mindset. (2) there is a positive and significant influence between entrepreneurial mindset and entrepreneurial intention. (3) there is a positive and significant influence between entrepreneurial education and entrepreneurial mindset.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the direct and indirect effect of learning design, quality of lecturers, interactions with lecturers, and expectations on academic performance mediated by student satisfaction in Economics Education at Sebelas Maret University. The method used in this study was a quantitative survey method with a population of Economics Education students at Sebelas Maret University and a sample of 224 students. The sampling technique in this study was proportionate stratified random sampling and the data collection technique used a questionnaire. This study used data analysis techniques, namely path analysis and hierarchical regression analysis with SPSS 25. The results obtained in this study are: (1) There is a direct positive and significant influence between learning design, lecturer quality, interaction with lecturers, and expectations on student satisfaction, (2) There is a positive and significant direct effect between learning design, lecturer quality, interaction with lecturers, and expectations on academic performance, (3) There is a positive and significant direct effect between satisfaction on academic performance (4) There is a positive and significant indirect effect between learning design, lecturer quality, interaction with lecturers, and expectations on academic performance through satisfaction. The implication of this research is that there is learning design, lecturer quality, interaction with lecturers, and expectations to increase student satisfaction and academic performance in online learning.

Abstract

The research aim to examining the effect of family economic education on the productive behavior of children with religion as a mediating variable in adolescents in Lubang Buaya Village. This research is an associative quantitative research in which the research subjects were teenagers from Lubang Buaya Village, totaling ±120 respondents. Sampling was carried out using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The data collection method used a questionnaire which was distributed to teenagers in the Lubang Buaya Village. Data analysis technique using mediation regression analysis. The research results obtained include. First, family economic education has a positive and significant effect on the productive behavior of children in Lubang Buaya Village. Second, religion has a positive and significant effect on the productive behavior of children in Lubang Buaya Village. Third, religion strengthens the relationship between family economic education and children's productive behavior in Lubang Buaya Village.

Abstract

This research was conducted aiming to analyze whether there is influence of word of mouth on product purchasing decisions for Angkringan Cahsaiki Bekasi consumers. Where the independent variable, namely Word Of Mouth (X), affects the Purchase Decision (Y) as the dependent variable. The population in this study were Angkringan Cahsaiki Bekasi consumers with a sample of 140 respondents through the distribution of research questionnaires filled in by the respondents. Then the data obtained were analyzed using simple regression analysis. This analysis includes validity test, reliability test, simple regression analysis, t-test, and analysis of the coefficient of determination (R²). Based on statistical data analysis, the indicators in this study are valid and the variables are reliable. In the normality test normally distributed. Testing the hypothesis using the t-test shows that the word of mouth variable is proven to significantly influence the dependent variable in purchasing decisions. Purchasing decision variable can be explained by word of mouth, the rest is explained by variations of other independent variables that are not included in the researcher's simple linear regression model.

Abstract

Post COVID-19 Pandemic conditions pose a challenge to the world of education, especially for teachers so that they can encourage students to think critically after studied from home for so long. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the collaboration of jigsaw learning model with problem-based learning (PBL) model on students’ critical thinking skills in economics subject at SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta post COVID-19 Pandemic. The reasearch method used a quasi experimental design type non-equivalent control group design. The research subject was 11th grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta who were divided into two sample class, namely experimental class and control class. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used tests, observation and documentation. The research data analysis techniques used hypothesis tests with paired sample t-test, independent sample t-test, and ANOVA. The result of this research showed that the application of the collaboration of jigsaw learning model with PBL model had positive and significant effect on students’ critical thinking skills in economics subject at SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta post COVID-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

Critical thinking is crucial for students. One of the efforts to improve critical thinking through learning changes is by applying group investigation (GI) and problem-based learning (PBL) methods. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the GI and PBL methods on students' critical thinking skills with learning styles as the moderator variable. The research method was quasi-experimental with a 2 x 3 factorial design. The research subjects were class X students of Cilimus Vocational School, class of 2018-2019. This study used two-way ANOVA with SPSS 21 to analyze the data. The results showed that GI and PBL significantly affected students' critical thinking skills. It can be seen that (1) the GI learning method is more effective than the PBL learning method; (2) students' learning styles (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic) have no effect on student's critical thinking skills. Likewise, students' learning styles do not affect students' critical thinking skills; (3) There is no relationship between interactive learning methods and learning styles to increase students' critical thinking. In other words, learning styles do not strengthen or weaken the effect of applying experimental learning methods to improve student's critical thinking skills
