Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of work discipline on employee performance at the Tualang Village Office, Perbaungan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. The research method used is quantitative research. The population in this study were all employees and TP PKK of the Tualang District Office, totaling 45 people who also formed the sample size in this study. The data analysis technique in this research uses the t test, F test, and determination test (R2). The results of this research show that there is a positive and significant influence between work discipline on employee performance with the t test obtaining a t value of 9.132 > ttable 2.017 and a significance value (sig.) of 0.000 < 0.05, as well as a determination test with a coefficient of determination (R2) value is 0.660 or worth 60.0%. Thus it can be concluded that work discipline influences employee performance.

Abstract

The aims of this research are (1) to determine the influence of the principal's managerial skills on teacher performance, (2) to determine the influence of the school work climate on teacher performance and (3) to determine the influence of the principal's managerial skills and the school work climate together on teacher performance. The population of this study was 196 State High School teachers in the Batang Barat sub-rayon. The research sample was determined at 130 using a random sampling technique. Validity test, reliability test, normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, single regression test and multiple regression using SPSS for Windows version 25. The research results showed (1) correlation between the managerial skills variable of the principal with high teacher performance with a value of 0.685. The influence of the principal's managerial skills on teacher performance is 46.9% and the remaining 53.1% is influenced by other variables outside the principal's managerial skills. (2) The correlation between school work climate variables and teacher performance variables is weak with a value of 0.353. The influence of the school work climate on teacher performance is 12.5% and the remaining 87.5% is influenced by other variables outside the school work climate. (3) The influence of the principal's managerial skills and school work climate together on the performance of teachers at SMA Negeri Batang Barat sub-rayon is 48.6% and the remaining 51.4% is influenced by variables other than the principal's managerial skills and school work climate.

Abstract

This research discusses the efforts of sokalah leaders in implementing the curriculum at the Nurul Ilmi Jambi Integrated Islamic High School (SMAIT). The research method used is a quantitative research method. Implementation of the Independent Curriculum is the main focus of school principals. The initial steps taken involved teacher training, creating a common perception regarding the importance of the Independent Curriculum, and building cooperation both internally and externally. Even though it has only been implemented in class 10 for the 2023 academic year, SMAIT Nurul Ilmi Jambi has tried to be an example for other schools in adopting the Independent Curriculum with the support of supervisors and regular consultations. However, in the process of implementing the Independent Curriculum, SMAIT Nurul Ilmi Jambi faced several obstacles. This includes changes in learning design, creating teaching modules, as well as determining students' areas of expertise in phase F (grades 11-12). However, schools are trying to overcome this obstacle by involving teachers in independent learning platforms, sharing experiences through Subject Teacher Conferences (MGMP), and planning to improve facilities and infrastructure. Apart from that, they also encourage the development of students' interests and talents through extracurricular activities and collaborate with psychology institutions to identify student potential since grade 10

Abstract

This article aims to determine the remorse of teenage perpetrators of premarital sex after being subjected to criminal sanctions. A qualitative approach is used to analyze the perpetrator's self-management and the strategies used to face the next life. The research method uses qualitative methods. Research instruments: Observation and direct interviews were carried out to gather information without giving a traumatic feeling. The research results showed that the perpetrator felt regret and was traumatized by his actions. In conclusion, support from parents, friends and the environment is very necessary in dealing with feelings of trauma and regret due to juvenile delinquency such as premarital sex.

Abstract

As technology and information develop rapidly nowadays, there are many positive things that users, especially students, get. However, technology and information, in this case social media, have a negative effect on students, especially in their behavior. Students tend to imitate every deviant behavior that is accessed through social media. The aim of this research is to analyze the role of Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) teachers in dealing with the impact of social media on student morals at SD Muhammadiyah 18 Palembang. This research used a qualitative descriptive method by taking data from 2 PAI teachers and 9 students from grade 2 to grade 5 of elementary school. The results of the research show that the role of Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) teachers is felt to be very good in overcoming the negative effects of using social media among students at SD Muhammadiyah 18 Palembang.

Abstract

This article discusses the excessive anxiety of stabbing perpetrators, especially teenagers who are involved in criminal acts. This research uses a qualitative approach and analyzes changes in attitudes and attitudes towards teenagers involved in murder cases. The article also discusses theories related to juvenile delinquency and feelings of regret. Research methods include observation, interviews, and evaluation. This research focuses on perpetrators of criminal acts of beatings and murders who physically assaulted the victims until they died. The perpetrator experienced excessive anxiety after being arrested and sentenced to prison, and was afraid of intimidation from local residents. This anxiety causes changes in behavior to become closed and anti-social. This study concludes that threats and social sanctions against criminals can cause prolonged fear and regret, as well as changes in behavior to being closed and avoiding other people.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of the "Recycling Club" program as part of an environmental education strategy in elementary schools. In an effort to increase student awareness of the importance of recycling and sustainable practices, schools have adopted this program. This article provides an overview of the objectives, implementation, and impact of the Recycling Club program in the school environment. This article aims to provide a holistic view of the implementation of the Recycling Club program in elementary schools as a successful environmental education strategy. This program is expected to make a positive contribution to the formation of students who care about the environment from an early age.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy counseling can change behavioral patterns in juvenile perpetrators of abuse in LPKA class 2 Tomohon. This study uses a qualitative method. The subjects of this research were teenagers who were involved in cases of peer abuse. The instruments that researchers use to collect and manage data are by using interview techniques and observing subjects. Researchers carried out interview and observation techniques by coming directly to the research site at LPKA class 2 Tomohon to obtain maximum data. The results found in this study indicate that after implementing therapy using the ABC theory in implementing the Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy counseling approach, the researcher observed that the subject experienced changes and was able to differentiate between non-positive thoughts that had been stored and suppressed, thoughts or ideas. These ideas are compared with new thoughts conveyed and suggested by the counselor directly through real examples. Thus, this research is in line with previous research, namely REBT has the potential to change behavior patterns in adolescents, so the author draws the conclusion that REBT is able to change a person's behavior or thought patterns by making decisions in good conditions by thinking about the impact of the actions and behavior they carry out on their own thoughts

Abstract

This research aims to determine the trauma experienced by one of the teenagers at LPAK Class II Tomohon. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out by interviews, observation and documentation. The number of research participants was 1 person, namely a high school teenager. In socializing, participants simply interact with people who are not the same age. This research aims to determine the trauma experienced by participants.

Abstract

Research aims to find problems, solve problems and develop new knowledge. Research can reveal the truth scientifically with research methods. The research method is a planned, systematic, scientific, and rational way to collect facts. This study aims to examine in depth the various approaches in scientific research. The object of the research discussion is a qualitative and quantitative. The research method chosen by the author is a systematic literature review. In this study, researchers examined in depth the concepts and applications of various research approaches in various previous scientific studies. Materials for research studies are theoretical studies and the results of previous research from books, national journals, and international journals. The author uses data analysis with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of the research show that the use of methods in scientific research has been able to discover new truths and knowledge for the development of knowledge that is beneficial to human life. The use of research methods encourages comprehensive and holistic problem-solving.
