Abstract

The professional duty of the school principal is to build a shared vision and goals to achieve quality education. This is manifested by the principal of SMPN 9 Muaro Jambi. This qualitative research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of this research are the school principal, vice principal, and teachers. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and data conclusion. The results of this research show that professional leadership of the principal of SMPN 9 Muaro Jambi is an ability possessed by a professional leader to mobilize organizational resources, especially human resources, to achieve expectations. This ability determines whether a leader is successful. The professional duty of the principal of SMPN 9 Muaro Jambi is to build a shared vision and goals, creating a sense of commitment within a group by creating a shared picture of the future, principles, and practical guidelines that are expected to achieve the future.

Abstract

Research on holiday meetups is an effort to predict exchanges, conversions, or misunderstandings. However, in order to achieve accurate results, the research setup must use an appropriate approach. The determination of the approach to be used is highly dependent on the researcher's adopted paradigm. This paper discusses the concepts of research paradigms as a foundation for understanding three types of research approaches: quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods approach.Research that follows the positivism paradigm emphasizes objectivity, while qualitative research represents a naturalistic (phenomenological) approach. The separation between quantitative and qualitative research should not be mixed, but this understanding is often misunderstood by researchers who argue that each approach has its own weaknesses and therefore combining them would enhance the research. The reason for choosing these research approaches is that both types of approaches complement and strengthen each other, resulting in not only objective, structured, and measurable research outcomes, but also in-depth and factual research results.

Abstract

The development of the ability to build future school leadership orientation is necessary, as this educational system must be in line with the relevance of needs and demands of the times. This is exemplified by the head of SMPN 9 Muaro Jambi by developing the teachers themselves according to their needs and demands. This qualitative research focuses on the subject of the study, which is the head of the school, deputy head, and teachers. Data collection was done through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and data conclusion. The results of the study show that the development of teachers conducted by the head of SMPN 9 Muaro Jambi is done independently and professionally, with strong management skills, decision-making abilities, and potential for improving teacher quality. The development of teachers is carried out through participation in activities such as the Musyavarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (M(CMP) Kabupaten), becoming a Guru Penggerak or Pengair Praktek (PP), attending training on teaching platforms (PMM), forming learning communities in schools (KOMBHL), and participating in the local facilitation program (FASDA) conducted by the Tanoto Foundation.

Abstract

Strengthening the profile of Pancasila students is realized in a character strengthening program that has been implemented in several schools in the Frontier, Outermost and Disadvantaged (3T) areas. This article aims to review the supporting factors for the success of strengthening the character of Pancasila students, and the factors inhibiting the strengthening of the character of Pancasila students in 3T schools. The research method used is qualitative which is presented descriptively. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. The research location took various levels of schools in the 3T area category in Sungai Tubu District, Malinau Regency, North Kalimantan Province. The research results obtained are that the Pancasila student profile aims to shape the character of students according to Pancasila values. Supporting factors for the success of strengthening the character profile of Pancasila students in 3T schools include the vision and mission of rural schools which prioritize character education, the seriousness of teachers in educating and the independence of the students themselves. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include limited school facilities, difficult accessibility to school locations, low literacy, differences in student characteristics and the negative influence of smartphone use.

Abstract

In an effort to increase sales, the Honda Brio showroom at the Honda Arista Showroom will be able to pay attention to service to buyers using various indicators, provide stable and affordable prices so as to create a good perception of price, while creating a positive emotional response to buyers, thereby increasing product sales. will be able to increase further. This research aims to determine the direct positive and significant influence of service on purchasing interest of Brio Honda buyers at the Honda Arista Ringroad Medan showroom, the direct positive and significant influence of price perception on buyers' purchasing interest, the direct positive and significant influence of emotional responses on purchasing interest, the influence of service on emotional responses through buying interest, the influence of price perception on emotional responses through buying interest and to find out the influence of service, price perception and emotional response on buying interest at the Honda Arista Ringroad Medan showroom. There is a positive influence of service on emotional responses at Brio Honda. At the Honda Arista Ringroad Medan Showroom, t-count 12,372 t-count 12,372>1,689. There is an influence of price perception on emotional responses at the Brio Honda at the Honda Arista Ringroad Medan Showroom, because the t-count of 11,176 is greater than the t-table of 1,689. There is a positive influence of service on buyer interest in Brio Honda at the Honda Arista Ringroad Medan Showroom, because the t count of 12,249 is greater than the t-table of 1,689. There is a positive influence of price perception on buyer interest in Brio Honda at the Honda Arista Ringroad Medan Showroom, because the t count of 1,937 is greater than the t-table of 1,689. There is a simultaneous positive influence of service and price perception on the emotional response at Brio Honda at the Honda Arista Ringroad Medan Showroom because the calculated F1 is greater than the F table (409,515> 4.121) and F2 (513,423> 4.121). The percentage of influence of the independent variable on the dependent based on the determinant test is 97.5%.

Abstract

Community satisfaction is a measure of the extent to which the public services that the government has distributed to the community are good or not. People who are satisfied with the services they receive will generate trust in the government and other public institutions. Quantitative research methods are defined as research methods that are based on correct knowledge only from natural sciences that are used in research on certain populations or samples and sampling techniques using random sampling techniques, data collection using research instruments, data analysis that is associative research/causal relationships. . The research location was research carried out at the Tualang Village Office, Perbaungan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. with problems regarding the influence of Public Services on Community Satisfaction at the Tualang Village Office, Perbaungan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. Public services have a significant effect on community satisfaction at the Tualang Village Office, Perbaungan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency. This can be explained that if public services are implemented according to good standard operating procedures and the services provided are in line with community expectations, then the community will be satisfied with the services provided and the level of public trust in public services will increase.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between parental attachment and the tendency for children's emotional reactions at the age of 4-5 years at PAUD Kaisah Palembang. This type of research is quantitative correlation. The research sample used in this research was class A at PAUD Kaisah Palembang, totaling 15 children. The method for collecting data is a questionnaire with data analysis using the normality test, linearity test and hypothesis testing using the product moment correlation formula. The results of the hypothesis test data analysis with product moment correlation were obtained tcount > ttable, namely 0.997 > 0.514 which is in the value between tcount > ttable, namely 0.997 > 0.514 which is in the value between 0.80 – 1.000 (very strong) which means Ha is accepted so the hypothesis test results which has previously been suspected, the truth has been tested, meaning that there is a relationship between parental attachment and the tendency for children's emotional reactions at the age of 4-5 years at PAUD Kasih Palembang.

Abstract

Beyond the boundaries of the village's internal locality, village autonomy contains the principle of freedom to self-regulate, having its own customary law, and local resource capabilities or capacities. The integration of local resource freedom and capacity will give birth to village independence, namely in government affairs, making decisions. , and manage various resources in accordance with the preferences desired by the village community. Independence is the strength or improvement in the quality of village government administration, village development, development of local initiatives and potential, public services and the quality of life of village communities in a sustainable manner. The suggestion is that additional personnel are needed, especially for library management so that technical needs are not carried out by class teachers who already have the main task. Apart from that, it is necessary to develop programs to prevent boredom among students and it is also recommended to carry out evaluations on programs that are already running so that the effectiveness of a program can be seen for certain purposes.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether there is an increase in students' interest in learning after using the Inquiry Based Learning method in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects on Community Diversity in the Frame of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika using a quasi-experimental type of research. This research sample used two classes, namely class IX E as the experimental class and class IX C as the control class. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Inquiry Based Learning Method can increase students' interest in learning. This can be seen from the increase in the average value of the percentage of learning interest obtained by experimental class students, namely the pre-test results obtained a score of 67.00 and the average post-test value of learning interest for experimental class students after being given treatment using the Inquiry learning method. Based Learning obtained a score of 77.00. So it can be concluded that the learning interest of students in the experimental class, namely class IX E, experienced a significant increase of 10.00 after being treated using the Inquiry Based Learning method, so it can be said that the use of the Inquiry Based Learning method can be applied in the learning process in Education subjects. Pancasila and Citizenship material on Community Diversity in the Frame of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. Next, a hypothesis test was carried out, based on the hypothesis using the Independent Sample T-test to determine whether there was a significant difference between the average score of the student interest questionnaire in the experimental class and the control class. The following results were obtained. : The results of the Independent Sample T-test hypothesis test show a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, less than 0.05, which means there is a significant difference in the learning interest of students in class IX E.

Abstract

The quality of public services to the community is the level of achievement and goals within the organization. The public at all times always demands quality public services from the government even though these demands do not meet expectations. Empirically, the public services currently available are still characterized by being complicated, slow, expensive and tiring. This tendency occurs because society is still positioned as the party serving, not the one being served. An employee must have knowledge and insight about how to ensure that the quality of public services provided to the community is professional and responsible. The quality of public services is supported by service infrastructure such as information system data management. When the moderating variable, namely incentives, is included in the analysis of the influence of the work professionalism variable on the quality of public services, it increases to 76.9%. It can be seen from the F test (simultaneous), this shows that incentives increase the positive influence of work professionalism on the quality of public services. The incentive dimension includes material incentives and non-material incentives. Therefore, it is important for agencies to pay attention to factors that can support employee morale and work motivation to improve the quality of public services. namely by providing incentives in both material and non-material form to employees. Apart from that, the dimensions of public service quality include responsiveness, reliability, assurance, attention and physicality, which also shows that these factors can be motivation and influence in improving the quality of public services.
