Bionatural is an open access journal that aims to disseminate original research, scholarly studies, innovative practices, and critical perspectives in the fields of biology, biological sciences, and biology education. The journal welcomes research and scholarly works covering various aspects of biology and its application in education, including biodiversity, ecology, environmental biology, zoology, botany, microbiology, genetics, conservation biology, and other relevant areas of biological sciences. In the field of biology education, the journal covers teaching and learning in biology, teaching strategies, learning methods and models, curriculum development, development of teaching materials, learning media, educational technology, digital learning, assessment and evaluation, teacher and prospective teacher competencies, classroom action research, and innovative practices in biology education. The journal also welcomes interdisciplinary studies that integrate biology, science, education, technology, and environmental issues, as well as studies addressing educational policies, local and national initiatives, and comparative perspectives relevant to the development of biology and science education. Articles should be based on original research, research and development, scholarly studies, book reviews, or literature reviews that contribute to the advancement of biological sciences, biology education, teaching and learning practices, educational innovation, and the development of science and education.

Teachers at SMPN Meulaboh in carrying out practicum activities have not used practicum guide. The practical activities that teachers do all this time tend to give only instructions. It's because the school doesn't have a practicum guide yet. The difficulties also faced students, because students do not know what practicum activities will be carried out and caused the lack of preparation of students in doing the practicum. The research aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective Collaborative Teamwork Learning practice guide for class VII students at SMPN Meulaboh. Type Development research (Develpomental research), The data gathering techniques used are validation sheet lifts, practicality sheets lift, affective appraisal headings, psychomotor appraisals headings. Techniques of data analysis using descriptive statistics. Validity and practicality tracks are made according to the likert scale. For effectiveness seen through learning outcomes. The overall validity test results obtained a percentage value of 85.20% with valid criteria. The overall teacher practice test results were obtained with a percentage score of 90,86% with very practical criteria. The overall student practicality test results were obtained with a percentage score of 92.65 with highly practical criteria. Testing the effectiveness of the use of IPA Collaborative Teamwork Learning practical guidance obtained through student activity, motivation, and learning outcomesStudents have produced IPA based Collaborative Teamwork Learning practice guides that are effectively used to enhance student's understanding of the concepts and skills of science processes.

This research aims to analyze the increase in literacy skills of fifth grade students at SDN Pedurungan Lor 02 Semarang before and after using the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) model. The research design used classroom (PTK) action research which was carried out in class V of SDN Pedurungan Lor 02 Semarang, totaling 26 students, which lasted for 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. The dependent variable is students' literacy skills and the independent variable is the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) model. Data collection methods used include interviews, observation, and documentation with quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. The research results showed that students' literacy skills after implementing the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) model in Cycle I obtained a score of 73 and students' completion reached 60%. The increase in critical thinking skills results in cycle II was 82 and the percentage of student completion was 77%. So the application of the Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) model can improve the literacy skills of class V students at SDN Pedurungan Lor 02 Semarang.

This study aims to determine the effect of the participatory approach on Physics learning outcomes. The research aims to explore the impact of using a participatory approach on students' learning achievements. The population of this study consists of all eighth-grade students from SMP Negeri 14 Banda Aceh, which includes 5 classes with a total of 135 students. The sample in this study was selected using purposive sampling technique, involving 2 classes: class VIII/B with 29 students as the experimental group and class VIII/A with 28 students as the control group. Data collection was carried out using a testing technique, and data analysis was performed using a T-test. Based on the data analysis at a 5% significance level (α = 0.05) and degrees of freedom (df) = 51, the t-value obtained was t-hitung = 2.248 and the t-table value was t-tabel = 1.68, leading to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the use of a participatory approach can improve students' learning outcomes. The results of this study can serve as one of the many pieces of information to enhance students' learning achievements.

The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the Round Club learning model on the science learning outcomes of class VI students at SD Negeri Arongan Woyla, Arongan Lambalek District. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive research using a quantitative approach. The research subjects were class VI students at SD Negeri Arongan Woyla, Arongan Lambalek District with a total of 14 students consisting of 7 boys and 7 girls. The data collection techniques used are tests, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive percentage analysis technique. Based on the research results, it shows that the percentage of student learning completion after implementing the Round Club learning model was 93% or 13 students who had completed it, while only 1 student or 7% had not completed it with the average student score obtained being 81.78. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Round Club learning model is effective on science learning outcomes, especially on the theme of saving creatures in class VI of SD Negeri Arongan Woyla, Arongan Woyla District.

Education is a very important thing to develop, especially character education. Character education is education that can form good moral, character, character or personality qualities in students. In implementing character education, the role of the teacher is very important, because teachers as examples and teachers must also instill the values of character education by providing information about things that can shape good student character. This research aims to see how the character education of students is implemented in high school, especially in biology learning. The method used in this research is a literature review. The reading sources used are relevant international and national articles. This data analysis technique is carried out in a descriptive manner by analyzing and identifying the reading sources obtained so as to produce a very informative summary. Based on the results of the literature analysis, it is known that in implementing character education in high school in biology learning, biology teachers implement character education by creating a design of character education values which has been attached to the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and implementing it in the learning process through conveying messages and words. The values applied include discipline, curiosity, love of reading, religion, cooperation and a sense of responsibility. With this character education, it is hoped that it can form students who have good morals, character and personality.

Planting media plays an important role in providing nutrients and water needed by plants to grow. Each type of plant requires certain criteria for its planting media. Plant varieties are a group of plants of a type or species characterized by plant shape, plant growth, leaves, flowers, seeds and expression of genotype characteristics. This study aims to determine the effect of planting media on growth and yield of shallot varieties (Allium ascalonicum L.). This research was conducted at the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Teuku Umar University, Meulaboh, West Aceh from February to April 2024. The materials used were the type of bima shallot seeds and crown varieties, alluvial soil, sand, peat soil with a combination of manure. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RAK). The first factor is the planting media consisting of three treatment levels, namely M₁: alluvial planting media, M₂: peat planting media and M₃: sand planting media + alluvial soil. The second factor is the shallot variety consisting of two levels, namely B₁: crown variety and B₂: bima variety. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, number of bulbs, wet and dry weight of bulbs. The results of the F test of the analysis of variance showed that the treatment of planting media had a very significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, number of bulbs and dry weight of bulbs

The purpose of this study was to analyze the level of understanding ofdifferentiated teachers in the preparation of teaching modules at SMA 3 Negeri Seunagan.This research was conducted from May to October 2024 at SMA Negeri 3 Seunagan with theobject of all SMA N 3 Seunagan teachers. The reason researchers chose this school is that oneof the high schools in Nagan Raya Regency has superior accreditation and has implemented an independent learning curriculum. The focus of this research is to get an overview of theteacher's ability to develop differentiated teaching modules. The method used in this researchis a qualitative method. This method is intended to understand the phenomenon of what isexperienced by the research subject such as behavior, perception, motivation, action, andothers holistically and by means of descriptions in the form of words and language, in aspecial natural context by utilizing various natural methods (Moleong, 2017). Qualitativeresearch according to Hendryadi, et. al, (2019) is a naturalistic inquiry process that seeks adeep understanding of social phenomena in a natural way. The data analysis techniques usedare reducing data, selecting data, describing data, presenting data, and concluding data.Reducing data is, “Activities summarize, select key things, focus on important things, look forthemes and patterns and discard unnecessary ones” (Sugiyono, 2009: 338). The final stage isto make conclusions from the data that has been described. The stage of analyzing data is themost important stage because this is to give meaning to the data that has been collected. Fromthe results of the interview, it can be obtained that before and after the Technical Guidancewas carried out, it can be seen that the improvement of teachers about differentiation andpreparation of teaching modules is better or more understanding. Although there are severalindicators of questions that teachers still cannot answer. But in general, technical guidance inimproving understanding of the preparation of differentiated teaching modules has beensuccessful.

Learning media is an important element in classroom learning activities. This research aims to determine the effect of using the Canva application as an interactive learning media in improving the learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Maurole in Ende Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive research. The design used in this research is one group pre-test post-test pre-experiment design. The population in this study was 110 students consisting of four classes, namely classes VII A, VII B, VII C and VII D. The sample for this research was 26 students from class VII B obtained through a purposive sampling technique. The data obtained from the research sample is in the form of student learning outcomes in cognitive aspects. Data analysis was carried out using the Independent Sample T-test using the SPSS version 20 program. The results of the study showed that there was a significant increase in learning outcomes in the cognitive domain after being treated with learning activities using learning media based on the Canva application as shown by the average pretest score. 35, 7 and the average posttest score is 74.62 and is proven by the results of the Paired Sample T-test, namely a significance level of 0.001 which means effective because <0.05, so it can be concluded that the Canva Application media is an interactive learning media effective in improving student learning outcomes

The discovery learning model encourages students to find their own knowledge about something. This research aims to determine the effect of the discovery learning model on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMPN Satu Atap Mesi. The type of research is quantitative descriptive with a pre-experiment one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was 50 students consisting of two classes, namely class VIIIA and class VIIIB. The sample in this study was 25 class VIII students obtained using random sampling techniques. The data obtained from the research sample is in the form of learning outcomes in cognitive aspects. Data analysis was carried out using the t test. The results of the research showed that the average score for students' posttest learning outcomes in the cognitive domain was 86.40. Based on the results of hypothesis testing using one sample t-test analysis, the sig (2-tailed) value is 0.000 < 0.05, which indicates that the discovery learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes

This research aims to create an electronic teaching module for high school phase E students based on project-based learning about viruses. This kind of study uses a 4-D model for research and development. The four phases of the 4-D model are definition, design, development, and dissemination. The 4-D model is modified in this study for the validation stage of development. Eight high school teachers and two biology lecturers made up the research subjects. Using a modular application, an electronic teaching module for viral material based on project-based learning is the research object. A validity question naireisusedas the data-gathering tool. The average value of the language expert assessmentis 89.58% very good credentials, and the average value of the material expert assessment is 88.27% very good qualifications, according to the research findings. The expert evaluation assessment has 80.00% good credentials, the media expert assessment has 86.19% very good qualifications, and the teaching equipment expert assessment has 95.13% very good qualifications. With very good credentials, then tire average validity value is 87.83%. Wemay infer that anelectronic teaching modul efor high school phase E students based on project-based learning about viruses has been created using very reliable criteria and is appropriate for usage.
