Bionatural
Bionatural is an open access journal that aims to disseminate original research, scholarly studies, innovative practices, and critical perspectives in the fields of biology, biological sciences, and biology education. The journal welcomes research and scholarly works covering various aspects of biology and its application in education, including biodiversity, ecology, environmental biology, zoology, botany, microbiology, genetics, conservation biology, and other relevant areas of biological sciences. In the field of biology education, the journal covers teaching and learning in biology, teaching strategies, learning methods and models, curriculum development, development of teaching materials, learning media, educational technology, digital learning, assessment and evaluation, teacher and prospective teacher competencies, classroom action research, and innovative practices in biology education. The journal also welcomes interdisciplinary studies that integrate biology, science, education, technology, and environmental issues, as well as studies addressing educational policies, local and national initiatives, and comparative perspectives relevant to the development of biology and science education. Articles should be based on original research, research and development, scholarly studies, book reviews, or literature reviews that contribute to the advancement of biological sciences, biology education, teaching and learning practices, educational innovation, and the development of science and education.

<![CDATA[Hospital is one of the health facilities as an effort to maintain and improve public health. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the liquid waste management system at the Hospital. Descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by interviews, document reviews and direct field observations. The variables studied were the process of managing liquid waste originating from the hospital. Research Results Based on the results of interviews and observations, the management of liquid waste at the Hospital has an Aerobic method mixed with Enzyme Chemicals. The sources of wastewater that flow into the Wastewater Treatment Plant come from all activities of the Hospital. showing the results of outlet tests with parameters of Temperature, pH, BOD, COD, TSS, oil and fat can be said to be optimal in the process of processing liquid waste because the results of the Analysis have met the standard quality standards. The conclusion of the characteristics of hospital liquid waste by testing the outlet has met the standard quality standards.]]>

<![CDATA[Potatoes (Solanum tuberosum L.) come from cold climates (Netherlands and Germany). The first time potatoes were brought to Indonesia by the Dutch since before World War II. Potatoes are not a staple food for Indonesians, but the demand for potatoes is increasing from year to year due to the increasing population, the standard of livingwith imidakloprid perlakuan, and three with control. Everybody receives a perlakuan on the spinoteram and imidakloprid sampels. People are increasing and the preference for consuming foods whose raw materials come from potatoes is increasing. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of insecticides with active ingredients spinoteram and imidacloprid in controlling pests and the effect of insecticides on potato crop production (Solanum Tuberosum L.) This study used 9 samples of potato plants, as for the 9 samples, namely 3 . Spinoteram and imidacloprid samples were each treated with 0.5 mL/1L of water, samples were treated once a week and observed every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Plants that were not given insecticide treatment experienced a decrease in potato production, while plants that were treated with insecticides had more potato tubers than treatment control plants. The results showed that the highest pest population reached 15 before insecticide treatment with the active ingredient imidacloprid, but after being given pepticide the number of pests decreased to 4. In plants that before spinoteram treatment the pest population reached 15 and after treatment, the pest population decreased to 9. samples with spinoteram treatment, 3 samples with imidacloprid treatment and 3 control samples.]]>

<![CDATA[Tempoyak is a traditional food made from fermented durian flesh which is popular in Sumatra and Malaysia, including Jambi Province. Due to the abundance of durian fruit in Jambi and the majority of Jambi people who used to be migrants, the processing of durian fruit into tempoyak is done to maintain its freshness and make it a traditional food that has been passed down from generation to generation. The local wisdom of making tempoyak is passed down through word of mouth and is part of a culture that is formed naturally and based on the customs and advice of ancestors. Integrating local wisdom in learning, especially in science, is important to increase the relevance and contextualization of learning. This research aims to determine teachers' responses to the use of the biotechnology module for the process of making tempoyak based on Jambi local wisdom. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The research results showed that teachers responded positively to this module because it was interesting, easy to understand, and increased students' curiosity and knowledge about local wisdom. This module also inspires teachers to innovate in learning and helps combine various types of student intelligence. It is recommended that schools be more proactive in integrating local wisdom into the curriculum and providing special training to teachers. Collaboration with local communities and further research are also needed to increase the effectiveness of this module in learning.]]>

This article is based on a literature review, use of books and journals, and related documents. The purpose of this article is to provide information about how teachers can use available technology to create engaging learning that encourages students to improve their academic performance. Students are able to be independent in accordance with the Pancasila student profile aspects which require students to have noble character, global diversity, work together, be independent, reason critically and be creative. Independent learning creates students who are high in analysis and understanding when understanding the ability to discuss problems faced in life. <![CDATA[Students' passion for learning is one of the influencing factors for students' learning achievement. With the emergence of enthusiasm for learning, students will have greater curiosity in learning. This is in line with the opinion of (Setiawan, 2021) Passion for learning is a person's (student) desire to acquire skills, knowledge and attitudes based on interest, curiosity and consideration. This research uses a literature review method (literature study) to determine learning media in building passion for learning. This method involves collecting, analyzing and various references to relevant theories including journals, articles and reports from previous researchers related to the research title. In the initial stage of collecting articles based on the variables contained in the title, namely Learning Media as an Alternative to Passion for Learning, from the many articles we found several articles that matched the title. At the article reduction stage, there were a number of articles that had to be discarded because they were less relevant to the title topic, for example the article only discussed passion or motivation for learning without mentioning the use of learning media as an alternative. Based on the results of the analysis and study sources obtained, it can be concluded that learning media is a means of communication between teachers and students in delivering learning material that is clearer and not monotonous, so that it can increase student learning motivation and increase learning success.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this research is to describe the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in class 1 PPKN learning at SD Negeri Gajahmungkur 04 Semarang. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, with observation and documentation techniques to collect data. The data source for this research was class I students at SD Negeri Gajahmungkur 04. The data obtained was analyzed in three stages, firstly data collection, secondly data presentation, thirdly drawing conclusions. The results of this research indicate that the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in PPKN learning at SD Negeri Gajahmungkur 04 Semarang is effective in improving learning outcomes and developing student character. The implementation of the PjBL learning model is carried out in two stages, namely the preparation stage and the implementation stage. There are five stages of learning implementation, namely; (1) basic questions, (2) designing a product plan, (3) preparing a manufacturing schedule, (4) developing project results, (5) testing results. From the research results, it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in class I PPKN learning at SD Negeri Gajahmungkur 04 Semarang is the appropriate learning model to be applied in PPKN learning in class I at SDN Gajahmungkur 04 Semarang. The results of research and discussions in implementing the PjBL model can provide positive results, making students active, creative and think critically.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine whether the Project Based Learning learning model has an effect on the thinking skills of students of the Umuslim Bireuen Elementary School Teacher Training Program. The formulation of the problem is whether the Project Based Learning learning model has an effect on the thinking skills of students of the Umuslim Bireuen Elementary School Teacher Training Program. The research method used is an experimental method with a sample size of 120 people with 60 people in the control class and 60 people in the experimental class. Data analysis was carried out using the independent sample t-test. The results of the study showed a sig.0.05>0.452 value so that it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Project Based Learning learning model on students' thinking skills.]]>

<![CDATA[Interesting learning for students cannot be separated from the innovation or creativity of educators in implementing the learning process in the classroom. One innovation that is often carried out is implementing learning using learning media. Learning media is able to attract students' imagination and concentration in understanding material. In realizing the independent flow, it can be dedicated to project-based learning for educators and students. Therefore, researchers want to carry out research and development of KAPOMEL (Exploding Tree Box) media based on the independent learning flow. The research was conducted on 27 class IV-A students at MI Rahmad Said Peterongan Jombang with the aim of describing the development of the KAPOMEL (Exploding Tree Box) media based on the independent flow of learning in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) class IV-A subjects and analyzing the feasibility of the KAPOMEL media according to expert validators. The ADDIE development model chosen in this research consists of the analysis stage, design stage, development stage, implementation stage and evaluation stage. The data obtained is in the form of qualitative and quantitative data obtained from the output of the validators and then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The percentage obtained from media experts reached 76%, material experts 96% and learning experts 100% with an average of 90%, which means that the KAPOMEL (Exploding Tree Box) media based on the independent flow of learning in class IV science subjects at MI Rahmad Said Peterongan Jombang is very proper to use. ]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract This research aims to analyze the influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by fraction board media on the numeracy abilities of class II students at SDN Pedurungan Lor 02. This research uses a quantitative experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest design. The data collection technique uses a written test with indicators of numeracy ability, namely; 1) using various kinds of numbers and symbols related to basic mathematics, 2) analyzing information displayed in various forms, and 3) interpreting the results of this analysis to predict and make decisions. The research location was in class II at SDN Pedurungan Lor 02. The sample in this study was 30 students using saturated sampling techniques. And using data analysis in the form of data normality tests, simple linear regression tests. The results of this research show that a simple linear regression test obtained a tcount value of 6.902 > ttable 2.048, so the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by fraction board media (X) has an influence on students' numeracy abilities (Y). Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by fraction board media on students' numeracy abilities at SDN Pedurungan Lor 02. <![CDATA[Biology is a science that generally contains abstract studies. The concept of biology urgently needs significant and interesting teaching media to encourage students to study biology comprehensively and in-depth. Currently, the use of learning media in the study of biological sciences has not been maximized by educators in schools, especially audiovisual-based media. The purpose of this study is to find out "The Effect of Audio Visual Media of Excretory System Materials on Humans to Increase the Learning Interest of Class X Students at SMAN 2 Meureubo”. The subject used is a student of class X science of SMAN 2 Meureubo. The results of the research obtained are that the use of audio-visual- based learning media has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of students with excretory system material. The results of the statistical test show that there is a significant influence between the use of audio-visual media and the absence of audio-visual media on student learning outcomes.]]>
