Abstract

This study aims to apply students' self-concept E-assessment to SESKA-based physics. Student self-concept E-assessment in this study aims to see students 'self-concept of physics and how the teacher responds to the development of students' self-concept E-assessment with SESKA systems. The method implemented in this research has three stages, namely: (1) Development, (2) Implementation, & (Evaluation). This research was carried out on 450 students and 15 teachers in the Jambi Province of Indonesia. The results of this study indicate students' self-concept of physics is classified as good 47.1percent (212 students), and the teacher's response is classified as positive, with 66.7percent (10 teachers). Therefore, SESKA-based E-Assessments receives a good response and needs to be developed on a large scale.

Abstract

This research develops e-module teaching materials by using a digitalized book application based on ethno constructivism and also discerns students' responses to the e-modules. We employed the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) to create the books. The ADDIE model consists of five steps, namely (1) introduction, (2) planning, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. The subjects of this study were 21 fifth-grade students of elementary schools 112/I. The results of this study captured that the product was favored by most of the students with percentages of interest (72.73percent), motivation (77.27percent), and perception (63.6percent).

Abstract

The Oe3r strategy is an effort to develop a learning model based on inquiry. Oe3r strategy consists of orientation, exploration, explanation, elaboration, and reflection. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Oe3r strategy on the chapter redox reaction and obtain student responses on it. The research used a quantitative descriptive method. Implementation description is derived from observations on the learning process, while student responses are obtained by capturing responses through questionnaires. The implementation of the Oe3r strategy was carried out in High school students with 35 students. The results of this research indicate that students give good to respond, felling meaningful on the learning process and expect the Oe3r strategy can be applied in other chapters.

Abstract

The Testing of Teacher’s Competence Model from Multimedia Expertise Program Using Confirmatory Factor Analysis. The research aims to test the teacher’s competence model which becomes the basis of evaluating the teacher’s competence in Indonesia as well as the basis of developing the education and training to improve the competence. The tested model involves several levels of measurement construct, from competence dimension, competence group, to expertise group. The analyzed data in the research is the result of test namely Teacher’s Competence Test of Vocational High School teachers teaching Multimedia subject (N=2,744). The data is analyzed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) approach. The analysis result shows that the tested model has satisfying model acuracy which means the model represents the actual data. The Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA) = 0.000 (< 0.08), CFI = 1.000 (> 0.95), TLI = 1.000 (> 0.95). The findings also show that the model is able to explain the teacher’s phenomenon in the real world. Therefore, the evaluation process against the teacher’s competence and the intervention in the competence development using this model are empirically supported.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the difference between the learning achievement of students with learning styles visual, auditory, and kinesthetic in Sub-district Sukun Malang. The type of this research was comparative quantitative. This research population was all 4th-grade students in Sub-district Sukun, which amount to 3250 students, while the technique of sample retrieval used random cluster sampling. Sample of this research amount to 338 of the 4th-grade students from 5 elementary schools in Sub-district Sukun. Data were collected by using learning style questionnaires and documents of students learning achievement. Data analysis of this research used quantitative statistics descriptive and analysis statistics nonparametric using the Kruskal-Wallis Test. The result of this research showed that the amount of significant value is 0.688, higher than 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is no difference in thematic learning achievement between a student who has visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles.

Abstract

This R&D aims to develop e-modules based on blended learning in the cost esti-mating course. The research used the R&D method with the 4D (four-D) model carried out through four main stages, namely define, design, development, and dissemination. The e-module development was limited only to the assessment and limited dissemination to experts or the development stage. This study used a questionnaire as a tool to test the feasibility of the instructional through expert validation and student assessment. The results obtained from Instructional experts, material, and students showed that this electronic module is suitable for use in cost estimating subject in Building Construction Vocational Undergraduate Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. However, further research is needed on the fourth stage (disseminate).

Abstract

Abstract: Administration Credibility of the Computer-based and the Paper-and-pencil National Examination in Mathematics Subject. This survey compares the administration credibility between computer-based and paper-and-pencil national examination of one subject, that is, mathematics. The credibility was measured from the perspectives of RAVEN – reputation, ability to observe, vested interest, expertise, and neutrality. Three schools in Pasuruan regency were selected to represent the computer-based, and another three to represent the paper-and-pencil test. The data were collected after the 2017 national examination using questionnaires and interview guide. The questionnaires were distributed to the students and mathematics teachers, whereas the interviews were carried out with the headmasters. The results of data analysis reveal that the computer-based final exam have better credibility in the areas of ability to observe and expertise, while the paper-and-pencil one in reputation and neutrality. In terms of vested interest, the two types of test do not differ.
