El-Mahara: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Arab is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Dar El-Mahara Center, Indonesia. The journal provides a scholarly platform for the publication and dissemination of original research, conceptual papers, and systematic literature reviews in the fields of Arabic language education, Arabic language and literature, and educational sciences. Its scope includes Arabic language teaching and learning, curriculum and instruction, Arabic language assessment, educational technology, teaching methodologies, Arabic linguistics, Arabic literature, teacher professional development, educational management, and contemporary issues related to the development of Arabic language and literature education. As a multilingual journal, El-Mahara: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Arab accepts manuscripts written in Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, and English. The journal is committed to providing an international scholarly forum that facilitates the exchange of ideas, research findings, and innovative practices among academics, researchers, lecturers, teachers, education practitioners, and scholars in the field of Arabic language and education. Every submitted manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening followed by a peer-review process conducted by experts in the relevant fields. The review process is intended to ensure the academic quality, originality, methodological rigor, relevance, and scholarly contribution of each manuscript prior to publication. Authors are fully responsible for the content, arguments, data, and conclusions presented in their published articles, in accordance with accepted standards of academic integrity and publication ethics. El-Mahara: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Arab has been published twice a year, in June and December, since 2023. The journal welcomes scholarly contributions from academics, researchers, lecturers, teachers, students, and practitioners from Indonesia and around the world who are engaged in the development of Arabic language education, Arabic studies, and related educational sciences. Through the dissemination of high-quality scholarly works, the journal aims to contribute to the advancement of knowledge, innovation, and professional practice in Arabic language and literature education at both national and international levels.

<![CDATA[Objectives This research is to demonstrate the educational competence of the Arabic language teacher in teaching speaking skills in the seventh grade at the Government Secondary School 2, Central Palobat, Padangsidimpuan, southeast of the city of Padangsidimpuan. The researcher used the type of this research is qualitative research. The instrument for data collection in this research is observation, interview, and documentation. As for the results of this research, it is that the educational efficiency of the Arabic language teachers in teaching the speaking skill of the students in the seventh grade of the government secondary school 2 in Central Palobat Padangsidimpuan, southeast of the city of Padangsidimpuan, has been sufficient, but the teacher still uses the Indonesian language more than the Arabic language in the teaching process, especially in teaching speaking skills. <![CDATA[The main problem in learning Arabic tends to be because students do not master Arabic vocabulary, one of which is because the methods used by teachers tend to be monotonous. Through the application of the total physical response method in teaching Arabic vocabulary, with the demonstration students can directly know the meaning of vocabulary without going through the tarjamah method. Learning Arabic is not optimal because the learning process is still oriented towards the teacher's activeness as a teacher and the interest and participation of students in grade V of State Elementary School 2 Padangsidimpian towards learning Arabic is also still lacking. This study aims to determine how the application of the total physical response method in vocabulary learning in grade 5 of state elementary school 2 padangsidimpuan refers to success indicators, namely through the process of achieving predetermined goals, the compatibility between the methods used with the material given to students, and the presence of student activity directly towards learning. After the research, and this research indicates that the percentage of successful students in cycle 1 of meeting 1 is 42.30%, cycle 1 meeting 2 is 46.15% and the percentage of successful students in cycle 2 is 76.92% and achieved predetermined success indicators.]]>

<![CDATA[الاستماع هنا ليس السماع (hearing) بل المقصود به هو النصات (auding)، وهو استقبال الصوت ووصوله إلى الأذن بقصد وانتباه. بخلاف السمع الذي هو يطلق على حاسة السمع وهي الأذن. المسألة الأساسية في هذا البحث هي كيف صعوبات تعليم مهارة الاستماع وسبل التغل. أما الأهداف هذا البحث هي: (1) لمعرفة تعسليم مهارة الاستماع (2) لمعرفة صعوبات تعليم مهارة الاستماع (3) ليعرف سبل التغلب عليها. نوع هذا البحث هو بحث نوعي، وينقسم البحث النوعي إلى قسمين يعنى بحث وعي ميداني وبحث نوعي مكتبي، وهذا البحث بحث نوعي ميدني وصفي. جمع البيانات فى هذا البحث بشكل الكلمات والصور وليست الأرقام. والبحث الوصفي يشرح البيانات كما هو موجود فى محسوسة البحث.بعد ما قامت البحثة الموضوع فحصلت النتائج من هذا البحث على ما يلي: تعليم مهارة الاستماع في الصف التاسع في معهد احمد الجرية مركزية. صعوبات تعليم مهارة الاستماع في الصف التاسع في معهد احمد الجرية مركزية. سبل التغلب عليها صعوبات تعليم مهارة الاستماع لتلاميذ الصف التاسع في معهد احمد الجرية.]]>

<![CDATA[كتاب مختصر جدا هو كتاب النحو الذي يستخدم في الصف الثامن مدرسة المتوسطة بمعهد الإسلامية تانجونج أوبار حسن نولي وفي تعليمه المعلم يستخدم طريقة القراءة. أما أهداف هذا البحث هو: لمعرففة كيف تطبيق طريقة القراءة في تعليم كتاب مختصر جدا والصعوبات الذي يوجه الطلبة عند تعليمه. وفي هذا البحث باستخدام بحث النوعي. والنتيجة من هذا البحث يدل أن المعلم الذي يعلم في هذا الفصل باستخدام طريقة طريقة القراءة من نوع القراءة المشتركة في تعليم كتاب مختصر جدا ويعلم المعلم بقراءة صوت عال وأيضا قراءة المكثفة والتحليلية، ولكن بعض من الطلاب أكثر اعجابا لا يحبون ولا يتحمسون عند التعلم في الفصل.]]>

<![CDATA[نموذج تخمين الكلمة هو نموذج تعليمي يستخدم وسيط بطاقات الألغاز المقترنة ببطاقات الإجابة الصحيحة. يتميز نموذج تخمين الكلمات هذا بالعديد من المزايا بما في ذلك أن الطفل سيكون لديه لغة غنية،مثيرة للاهتمام للغاية بحيث يرغب كل طالب في تجربتها، ويصبح التلاميذ مهتمين بالتعلم ويسهلون غرس مفاهيم الدرس في ذكريات التلاميذ. وأهداف هذا البحث هو لمعرفة المفردات تلاميذ ترقية بستخدام لعبة التخمين في الفصل العاشر مدرسة العالية الأهلية الإسلامية أيىك بداك منطقة سايور ماتينجي مقاطعة تابانولي الجنوبية .أما النتائج هو: حصل الاختبار القبلي علىم توسط %37،41 والتجريب الأول %72,41 والتجريب الثاني %20،86، نظرا ترقية في تحديد على درجة الاكتساب من قبل التجريب حتى التجريب الثاني مرتفعا بعدد %43،33.وحصل الطلاب الزيادة بعد تطبيق نموذج تعليم الاستقصائى. حصل النتائج تطبيق على الملاحظة الأولى بمتوسط %59 والملاحظة الثانية بمتوسط %68،75 والملاحظة الثالثة في المتوسط %79،1 والملاحظة الرابعة في المتوسط في المتوسط % 89 وحصل الزيادةعن ملاحظات عند تطبيق نموذج تعليم الاستقصائى.]]>

<![CDATA[Literary works are a reflection of life, life cannot be separated from the relationship between society and personal psychology. This research is a literature research with data in the form of paragraphs contained in the novel banat riyardh. Data collection techniques are reading and recording techniques. Data valiity techniques in this research by trianggulation of data. The purpose of this study is to explain the psychological aspects of the personality of the main character in the novel Banat Riyardh by King Abdul Al-Sani. The result of this study is that the Qamrah character has a personality aspect, namely the id aspect including a sense of wanting to protect self-esteem, a sense of wanting to improve themselves, and a sense of wanting to protect women. Aspects of the ego include never giving up, struggle, defending yourself. The superego aspect includes awareness of the necessities of life for norms in Saudi society.]]>

<![CDATA[This research explored into the challenges faced by students at SMP-IT Al-Husnayain in learning the Arabic language. This study comprehensively examines linguistic complexities, including syntax and vocabulary, cultural understanding hurdles, and limitations in learning resources. This research uses a qualitative approach and is exploratory in nature. Meanwhile, data collection was obtained through filling out questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. The findings show the importance of a balanced teaching approach, integrating cultural contexts and addressing resource limitations. Flexibility in teaching methods, technology integration, and prioritizing practical skills. In addition, alignment of teaching and assessment methods is emphasized to ensure the effectiveness of Arabic language learning and foster a more effective learning environment.]]>

<![CDATA[The low interest in learning and insufficient reading skills among students pose challenges in Arabic language education at Al-Falah Islamic Junior High School in Padang city. There is a need for engaging and innovative teaching media to address this issue. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using comic media as a learning tool to enhance students' reading skills in the Arabic language subject. The study employs an experimental research design involving 66 students, with 33 students in the control group and 33 students in the experimental group. The research findings indicate that there is a significant variation in students' learning outcomes before and after using comic media in reading skill learning related to the material of at-ta’aruf. According to the findings, the average pretest scores for the experimental group and the control group were 63.12 and 63.15, respectively. Meanwhile, the average posttest scores for the experimental group and the control group were 79.6 and 69, respectively. The independent sample t-test for the difference in means yielded a significance value of 0.000. The decision-making criteria analysis of the independent sample t-test revealed a significant result, with a significance value (Sig) of 0.000 < 0.05. This indicates sufficient evidence to support the alternative hypothesis (Ha). These findings verify that the media has a substantial impact on improving students' reading skills in the context of the at-ta’aruf material.]]>

<![CDATA[من أبرز النظريات الحديثة في تعليم اللغة العربية للناطقين بغيرها ما يعرف بتعليم اللغة العربية لأغراض خاصة، فيهدف هذا البحث إلى تحليل تعليم اللغة العربية لأغراض خاصة من منظور رشدي أحمد طعيمة في معهد دار الهدى الإسلامي تابونج. هذا البحث يستخدم المدخل الكيفي الوصفي، تتم البيانات من المقابلات والوثائق، ويتم تحليل البيانات التي تم جمعها باستخدام التقنية التحليلية الوصفية ويتم أيضًا تنفيذ تقليل البيانات وعرض البيانات والاستنتاج لتسهيل تفسير نتائج التحليل. نتائج هذا البحث تدل على أن تعليم اللغة العربية في هذا المعهد لغرض ديني، لأن تعلمها يهدف إلى فهم الطلاب وتعمقهم في علوم دينية، مع الاقتصار على مهارة القراءة، ولموافقة عملية تعليم اللغة العربية في هذا المعهد على 14 معيارا لأغراض خاصة. وممكن أن ندخل أسلوب تعليم اللغة العربية في هذا المعهد من ضمن تعليم اللغة العربية لأغراض أكاديمية خاصة كما أوضح بذلك رشدي أحمد طعيمة على أن الطلاب يدرسون مواد تخصصية لدراسة العلوم الإسلامية باللغة العربية]]>
