Factum: Jurnal Sejarah dan Pendidikan Sejarah promotes research in the broad field of history and Education with particular respect to Indonesia, but not limited to authorship or topical coverage within the region. Contributions are expected from historian, educator, teacher, senior researchers, project managers, research administrators and PhD students at advanced stages of their research, representing both public organizations and private industry. Equally, the journal if intended for scholars and students, reseachers working at research organizations and government agencies, and also for enterprises undertaking applied R&D to lead innovations. The editorial contents and elements that comprise the journal include: Theoretical articles Empirical studies Practice-oriented papers Case studies Review of papers, books, and resources. As far as the criteria for evaluating and accepting submissions is concerned, a rigorous review process will be used. Submitted papers will, prior to the formal review, be screened so as to ensure their suitability and adequacy to the journal. In addition, an initial quality control will be performed, so as to ensure matters such as language, style of references and others, comply with the journal´s style. The below mentioned areas are just indicative. The editorial board also welcomes innovative articles that redefine any history and history education field. Abstract

This research entitled "The Gait of Pasundan People's Party in Pasundan State from 1947-1950". The main problem in this research is to get to know "How was the gait of the Pasundan people's party in the Pasundan state from 1947-1950?". The method used in this research is the historical method. Based on the results of this research, it can be explained about the background of the formation of the Pasundan People's Party, the role of the founding figures of the Pasundan People's Party and the actions of the Pasundan People's Party in the Pasundan State government. The author concluded that the formation of Patai Rakyat Pasundan was motivated by Suria Kartalegawa's desire to lead West Java and was assisted by the Dutch who also wanted to form a Federal State in Indonesia. Suria Kartalegawa as a founding figure played an important role in the formation of the Pasundan People's Party which later declared the Pasundan State. The activities of the Pasundan People's Party in the government of the Pasundan State which divided into two, the first one is the Pasundan State declared by Suria Kartalegawa and second one is the Pasundan State as a result of the West Java Conference. Suria Kartalegawa's version of the Pasundan State did not last long due to the lack of support from several elements of society, both from figures or the West Java community itself and was considered a counter-revolutionary movement. Then the Pasundan version of the West Java Conference led by Wiranatakusumah V produced three West Java conferences, in this period Suria Kartalegawa and his Pasundan People's Party were more active in the Pasundan State Parliament with stand more in the opposition side. The Pasundan People's Party fainted and disbanded itself following the disbandment of the Pasudan State in 1950 and the arrest of Suria Kartalegawa, and then West Java again became part of the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

 This research was written to answer the main problems related to how the dynamics of sasapian art occurred in 1999-2017. This research uses historical methods, consisting of several research steps. First, heuristics( collection of sources), criticisms, and most recent historiography (historical writing). From the research conducted, the results obtained that the appearance of sasapian art in Cihideung Village is backgrounded by the socio-cultural condition of cihideung village people who are very attached to magical life. This sasapian art first appeared between 1920-1940s, when sasapian art was considered as a means of communication between the people and the spirits of ancestors / karuhun, as well as as a form of gratitude to the Creator for abundant crops, and the availability of abundant water. Sasapian art continues to be traditionalized at Hajat cai/Ngaruat Solokan. In 1999, tourism developed in Cihideung Village, a tradition of Hajat cai/Ngaruat Solokan that displays sasapian art slowly began to be abandoned. Sasapian art began to reform as a means of people's entertainment. In 2007, sasapian art innovation was introduced under the name Sapi Gumarang, and created a tourism event called Cihideung Festival, since then sasapian arts changed function as a means of promoting tourism, which supports the implementation of creative economy in Cihideung Village. Factors that influence the dynamics that occur in Cihideung Village are globalization, tourism rate, and artist creativity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan studi mendalam mengenai dinamika perkembangan surat kabar pada masa transisi pemerintahan soekano menuju soeharto yang mana dalam perjalannya sebagai sebuah surat kabar mendapati beberapa pengekangan hingga pencabutan surat izin penerbitan karena dianggap tidak selaras dengan tujuan pemeritah saat itu. Secara umum penelitian ini ingin menjawab pertanyaan mengenai “bagaimana dinamika perjalanan surat kabar dalam masa pemerintahan otoriter, khususnya surat kabar Sinar Harapan di Indonesia?”. Untuk menguji permasalahan, peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan metode historis yang mencakup empat langkah penelitian. Langkah-langkah penelitian diantaranya yaitu pengumpulan sumber tertulis melalui studi literatur (heuristik), kritik sumber, interpretasi atau analisis sumber dan historiografi. Peneliti juga menggunakan konsep untuk menyederhanakan analisis, diantaranya konsep Surat Kabar, Otoriter, politik, pemerintah. Sebuah rasionalisasi untuk studi surat kabar ini, karena banyak perspektif tentang klaim yang dibuat oleh pemerintah atau surat kabar itu sendiri. Analisis teori otoriter muncul dalam bentuk pertanggungjawaban atas analisis surat kabar  sebagai  objek peluisan sejarah, disamping itu teori pers otoriter  digunakan sebagai analisa pada dinamika perkembangan surat kabar di Indonesia.This research aims to conduct an in-depth study of the dynamics of newspaper development during the transition of Soekarno government to Suharto which on its way as a newspaper found some restraint until the revocation of the issuance license because it was considered not in line with the government's goals at that time. In general, this study wants to answer the question of "how is the dynamics of newspaper travel in the period of authoritarian rule, especially Sinar Harapan newspaper in Indonesia?". To test the problem, researchers conducted the study using historical methods that included four steps of research. Research steps include the collection of written sources through the study of literature (heuristics), criticism of sources, interpretation or analysis of sources and historiography. Researchers also use concepts to simplify analysis, including the concept of newspapers, authoritarians, politics, government. A rationalization for the study of this newspaper, due to the many perspectives on the claims made by the government or the newspaper itself. The analysis of authoritarian theory appears in the form of accountability for newspaper analysis as an object of historical immersion, in addition to the theory of the authoritarian press is used as an analysis on the dynamics of newspaper development in Indonesia.

Abstract

Information literacy skills in history learning are important skills to be developed. This research is motivated by the low information literacy skills of students in learning history. These indications can be seen from the ability to analyze the connectedness of historical events and the ability to process student information. Based on these problems, the researchers formulated several problems that were taken in the study including: first, how to plan history learning using the Double Loop Problem Solving (DLPS) method through E-Learning. Second, how to apply history learning using the Double Loop Problem Solving (DLPS) method through E-Learning. Third, how to improve information literacy skills using the Double Loop Problem Solving (DLPS) method in learning history through E-Learning. [F1] Fourth, How to overcome obstacles in using the Double Loop Problem Solving (DLPS) method in history learning through E-Learning. This study aims to improve students' information literacy skills in learning history. This study uses the research design of Kemmis and McTaggart which includes planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The researched aspects of information literacy skills are recognizing needed information, accessing relevant information, selecting and comparing information from different sources, evaluating appropriate information, organizing and using information efficiently, combining and constructing information into knowledge. new, and communicating and reflecting information. Based on the results of research conducted, the use of Double Loop Problem Solving (DLPS) can improve students' information literacy skills in learning history. In the first cycle the average percentage is 50.4%, the second cycle is 60%, and the third cycle is 82.8%.

Abstract

 The title of this research is “The Role of Historical Community (KOMPAS) in Supporting History Learning (a Descriptive Study of an Extracurricular KOMPAS at SMAN 22 Bandung.”The researcher’s background takes the theme of the research based on an interest in extracurricular activities in field of historical study at Senior High School. The choice of the Historical Community as the object of research is because this community the only extracullicullar based on historical learning that exist in Bandung and has not yet received attention among academics. The main problem in this research is “What is the role of the historical community (KOMPAS) in supporting students historical learning at school?”  Based on these problems, the writer divides them into three problem formulations. How was the development of the Historical Community (KOMPAS) in 2015-2019? How has the Historical Community (KOMPAS) designed its programs to support history learning? What is the impact of the Historical Community (KOMPAS) on learning history in 2015-2019?.The method used in this research is descriptive study. The results of this study indicate that the background to the establishment of the Historical Community (KOMPAS) is the development of a history study group that is engaged in developing students' historical insight and skills. After the Historical Community (KOMPAS) was officially established as an extracurricular, this group attempted to create interactive history learning programs that support history learning. The impact of theHistorical Community at SMAN 22 Bandung is to provide a variety of learning resources in developing history learning materials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh temuan peneliti di kelas XI IPA 3 SMAN 3 Cimahi yaitu rendahnya keterampilan literasi membaca siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga siklus yang pada masing-masing siklusnya dilakukan dua tindakan dengan menggunakan model John Elliot yang prosesnya terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan keterampilan literasi informasi di setiap siklusnya setelah diterapkanya metode brainwriting dalam pembelajaran sejarah, hal ini dapat terlihat dari perolehan skor masing-masing indikator pada setiap siklusnya yang mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I tidak ada kelompok yang mendapatkan skor maksimal pada setiap indikator. Pada siklus II terdapat kelompok yang mendapatkan skor maksimal pada beberapa indikator. Pada siklus III semua kelompok mendapatkan skor maksimal di sebagian besar indikator yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode brainwriting dapat menjadi alternatif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi membaca siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah di kelas XI IPA 3 SMAN 3 Cimahi.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis article is entitled " Socio-Cultural Life Development of Chinese Ethnic in Padang City Since 1966-2002. The main problem raised in this thesis is how social and cultural life of Chinese ethnic in Padang City from the New Order to the beginning of reformation. From this problem, it is revealed three research questions: 1) How was socio-cultural life of Chinese ethnic in Padang city since early period of 1966. 2) What were the efforts made by Chinese in Padang city to preserve their ethnic identity in socio-cultural aspect during 1967-2002. 3). How is the pattern of cultural interaction between Chinese ethnic and local residents in Padang city. The method used to explain these problems is historical methods, namely: source collection, source criticism, interpretation and historiography. The research techniques used are literature study and interviews. In facilitating the analysis process, the researcher used historical approach assisted by several auxiliary sciences such as social science and anthropology. The findings and discussions conclude that socio-cultural life of Chinese ethnic experienced ups and downs depending on the implemented policies in each period of Indonesian government. However, the results of the study found out that socio-cultural life of Chinese ethnic in Padang city can still be carried out in accordance with the traditions and cultures of their ancestors. It's because the community and the city government provided spaces for Chinese ethnic as a form of acculturation, so that the similarities between Chinese ethnic and the Minangese people in preserving culture could be implemented based on respective cultures and traditions In Chinese arts membership, it was found that there was a cooperation between Chinese and Minangese community in Barongsai art and also other arts a form of cultural acculturation. Keywords: ABSTRACTThis article is entitled " Socio-Cultural Life Development of Chinese Ethnic in Padang City Since 1966-2002. Akan tetapi, hasil penelitian menemukan kehidupan sosial budaya etnis Tionghoa kota Padang masih dapat dilaksanakan sesuai dengan tradisi dan kebudayaan leluhurnya, hal tersebut disebabkan masyarakat dan pemerintah kota memberikan ruang bagi etnis tionghoa sebagai bentuk akulturasi kota Padang, sehingga persamaan etnis Tionghoa dan masyarakat Minangkabau dalam melestarikan budaya dilaksanakan sesuai dengan tradisi dan kebudayaan masing-masing. Abstract

ABSTRAKSalah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi efektivitas belajar daring adalah penggunaan platform pembelajaran sebagai penunjang proses pembelajaran. Pemanfaatan platform pembelajaran daring dengan optimal dapat mendorong terwujudnya pembelajaran yang efektif dan membantu siswa mengembangkan keterampilan Abad 21. Berdasarkan pra-penelitian, platform pembelajaran daring yang paling banyak digunakan oleh guru sejarah di SMA Kota Bandung adalah Google Classroom yang mewadahi pembelajaran asinkronus dan Zoom Cloud Meeting yang menyediakan layanan pembelajaran sinkronus sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian terkait penggunaannya terhadap efektivitas belajar siswa pada pembelajaran sejarah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode korelasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa di SMA Kota Bandung dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 387 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang dirancang berdasarkan Teory Acceptance Model (TAM) oleh Davis dan indikator efektivitas belajar menurut Slavin. Hasil penelitian tentang hubungan penggunaan platform Google Classroom dan Zoom Cloud Meeting  dengan efektivitas belajar siswa sebagai berikut: 1) Terdapat hubungan yang positif, signifikan, dan sedang antara pembelajaran asinkronus melalui Google Classroom dengan efektivitas belajar siswa, 2) Terdapat hubungan yang positif, signifikan, dan kuat antara pembelajaran sinkronus melalui Zoom Cloud Meeting  dengan efektivitas belajar siswa, 3) Terdapat hubungan yang positif, signifikan dan sangat kuat antara kombinasi pembelajaran asinkronus dan sinkronus melalui Google Classroom dan Zoom Cloud Meeting  dengan efektivitas belajar.Kata Kunci: Efektivitas Belajar, Google Classroom, Zoom Cloud MeetingABSTRACTOne of the factors that can affect learning effectiveness is learning platform utilization as a supporter of the online learning process. The optimal utilization of learning platforms can support effective learning and help students improve their 21st-century skills. According to preliminary observation, the most commonly used learning platforms for high school history teachers in Bandung are Google Classroom which accommodates asynchronous learning and Zoom Cloud Meeting which provides synchronous learning. Therefore, it is necessary to research its use on the effectiveness of student learning in history learning. This research aims to obtain information about the correlation between using the Zoom Cloud Meeting and Zoom Cloud Meeting with students' effectiveness in History learning. The method used in this research is a correlation. The research populations were students in Bandung Senior High School, with research samples of 387 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire designed based on Davis's Theory Acceptance Model (TAM) and indicators of learning effectiveness by Slavin. The results of this research on the correlation between synchronous learning through Zoom Cloud Meeting and Zoom Cloud Meeting with the effectiveness of student learning are as follows: 1) There is a positive, significant, and moderate correlation between asynchronous learning through Google Classroom with the effectiveness of student learning, 2) There is positive, significant, and strong correlation between synchronous learning through Zoom Cloud Meeting and the effectiveness of student learning, 3) There are a positive, significant, and solid correlation between the combination of asynchronous and synchronous learning through Google Classroom and Zoom Cloud Meeting with the effectiveness of student learning.Keywords: Google Classroom, Learning Effectiveness, Zoom Cloud Meeting

Abstract

This thesis entitled “Application of the Bingo Review Technique game Method to Improve Student Activities in Learning History (Classroom Action Research in Class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri Tanjungsari)”. This research aims to increase students’ activity with the adoption of a bingo game. History subject are considered boring subject, old-fashioned and monotonous, so most students are not interested, no excited, indifferent and do not care to follow the history of the learning process. This shows that students’ learning activities are low. The research method used was the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method using research designs from Kemmis and Taggart. This design consists of 4 phases: planning (plan), implementation (act), observation (observ) and reflection (reflect) in cycle. Based on the research that has been done, the development of students in achieving the criteria on the predetermined learning activity indicators has increased in each cycle. This shows that in implementing the bingo review technique game method to improve student learning activities is one way solution for fun learning activity. This research can be a recommendation for schools, teachers and researchers to develop more innovative, interesting and fun history learning process so that it can increase students’learning activities.

Abstract

The background of this research was motivated by the findings of researchers in Class XI Unggulan A SMA Pasundan 8 Bandung which showed the lack of ability process student information in historical learning, when the students found information but they have not been able to develop it into renewable information and only move the information without process and the students just memorizing or reading some information when they communicating information to othe stuents. The ability to process information emphasized in this research is managing informations from historical texts and other sources, both finding information, concluding, and communicating informations, classroom action research method which is carried out with four cycles from planning, observation, action, and reflection, the method was designed by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. Based on research that has been carried out in three cycles student have progress in achieving the criteria in the indicator of ability to process information by showing a good and significant increase in each cycles. By using REAP strategy to improve the ability to process information and use history text as a source of information for student. They can get used to managing the information, found so that the REAP strategy is one way that can be used to improve the ability to process information in history learning. The result of this study can be used as consideration for teacher to implement it, so thatstudent have the ability to process information.
