Abstract

This research is motivated by the findings of researcher at the research location which show that in the online history learning process, teacher creativity is needed, one of which is in terms of developing digital learning media. So the study in this research is the creativity of teachers in developing digital learning media in online history learning, with the main problem formulation "how is the creativity of teachers in developing online history learning media?" This study uses a descriptive study that aims at obtaining a description of the creativity of high school history teachers in Bandung City in developing digital learning media based on indicators of flexibility, fluency, originality, and presentation. This includes studying the constraints and efforts as well as student’s responses to the developed media. The results of this study indicate that teachers have developed digital learning media which are realized in several forms, such as slides, videos, and podcasts. However, from the media products that have been developed, podcasts are the media with the most prominent elements of originality compared to others. This shows that there are still several aspects that have not been met based on the findings of each indicator. One of them is caused by the obstacles felt by the teacher both from internal and external factors. However, students still feel helped by the media developed by the teacher to understand the material presented, but it does not mean that all students feel that the media is interesting. This is largely determined by what media the teacher uses during the online learning process.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low information literacy skills of students. This can be seen from the low skills of students in finding, processing, and presenting information. These skills can be seen through learning outcomes, because learning outcomes are a measure of the success of the learning process. Therefore, this study entitled "The Effect of Using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Method on Information Literacy Skills in terms of Student Learning Outcomes in History Learning (Quasi Experimental Research at Class X SMA Negeri 9 Bandung). The CIRC method is used in the experimental class by dividing students into small groups, which then each finding, processing, and presenting information, as well as making answers to problems. This study was conducted to examine the effect of using the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method on information literacy skills in terms of student learning outcomes in history learning. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental method with one group time series design. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 9 Bandung. The instrument used to obtain data in the study was a written test in the form of multiple choice questions and a questionnaire. Based on the data obtained from the results of the calculation of the hypothesis test, the Sig. 0.004 0.05 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted so that there is an effect of using the CIRC method on information literacy skills both for groups of students who have information literacy skills "Good", "Good Enough" and “Not Good”. Meanwhile, the results of the pretest and postest statistical tests show that there were differences in learning outcomes for groups of students who had information literacy skill “Good”, “Good Enough, or “Not Good before and after using the CIRC method. This can be seen from the increase in the average pretest-postest score and the gain index of each experimental class.

Abstract

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, all teaching and learning activities, including history learning, have been carried out virtually. Mastering technology is one of the skills teachers and students must have in the 21st century. E-learning learning through google Classroom and zoom meeting clouds can be used as one Free distance learning app in the pandemic era beforehand for historical subjects full of facts to study. This study uses a descriptive study to obtain an in-depth explanation of the implementation of online history learning through google classroom and zoom meeting cloud at SMA Negeri 14 Bandung during the Covid-19 pandemic era. The results of this study indicate that in implementing online history learning, there is (1) the inability of history teachers to plan (RPP) history online; (2) Implementation of online history learning in high schools which experience technical technicalities; (3) History students and teachers are not ready to implement bold learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.Keywords : Covid-19; e-learning; google classroom; history learning. zoom meeting cloud;AbstrakSemenjak adanya pandemic virus Covid-19 seluruh kegiatan belajar mengajar termasuk pembelajaran sejarah dilakukan secara virtual dimana penguasaan teknologi menjadi salah satu keterampilan yang harus dimiliki guru dan siswa dalam abad 21. Pembelajaran E-learning melalui google classroom dan zoom meeting cloud dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai salah satu aplikasi gratis pembelajaran jarak jauh di era pandemic terlebih bagi mata pelajaran sejarah yang penuh dengan fakta-fakta untuk dipelajari. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi deskriptif untuk memperoleh penjelasan mendalam mengenai pelaksanaan pembelajaran sejarah secara online melalui google classroom dan zoom meeting cloud di SMA Negeri 14 Bandung pada era pandemic Covid-19. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran sejarah secara online terdapat (1) Ketidakmampuan guru sejarah dalam merencanakan (RPP) sejarah secara online; (2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran sejarah secara online di SMA yang banyak mengalami kendala teknis; (3) Siswa dan guru sejarah belum siap untuk mengimplementasikan pembelajaran daring saat pandemic Covid-19.Kata kunci : Covid-19; e-learning; google classroom; pembelajaran sejarah.Pembelajaran Sejarah , zoom meeting cloud;

Abstract

ABSTRAKSalah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi efektivitas belajar daring adalah penggunaan platform pembelajaran sebagai penunjang proses pembelajaran. Pemanfaatan platform pembelajaran daring dengan optimal dapat mendorong terwujudnya pembelajaran yang efektif dan membantu siswa mengembangkan keterampilan Abad 21. Berdasarkan pra-penelitian, platform pembelajaran daring yang paling banyak digunakan oleh guru sejarah di SMA Kota Bandung adalah Google Classroom yang mewadahi pembelajaran asinkronus dan Zoom Cloud Meeting yang menyediakan layanan pembelajaran sinkronus sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian terkait penggunaannya terhadap efektivitas belajar siswa pada pembelajaran sejarah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode korelasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa di SMA Kota Bandung dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 387 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang dirancang berdasarkan Teory Acceptance Model (TAM) oleh Davis dan indikator efektivitas belajar menurut Slavin. Hasil penelitian tentang hubungan penggunaan platform Google Classroom dan Zoom Cloud Meeting  dengan efektivitas belajar siswa sebagai berikut: 1) Terdapat hubungan yang positif, signifikan, dan sedang antara pembelajaran asinkronus melalui Google Classroom dengan efektivitas belajar siswa, 2) Terdapat hubungan yang positif, signifikan, dan kuat antara pembelajaran sinkronus melalui Zoom Cloud Meeting  dengan efektivitas belajar siswa, 3) Terdapat hubungan yang positif, signifikan dan sangat kuat antara kombinasi pembelajaran asinkronus dan sinkronus melalui Google Classroom dan Zoom Cloud Meeting  dengan efektivitas belajar.Kata Kunci: Efektivitas Belajar, Google Classroom, Zoom Cloud MeetingABSTRACTOne of the factors that can affect learning effectiveness is learning platform utilization as a supporter of the online learning process. The optimal utilization of learning platforms can support effective learning and help students improve their 21st-century skills. According to preliminary observation, the most commonly used learning platforms for high school history teachers in Bandung are Google Classroom which accommodates asynchronous learning and Zoom Cloud Meeting which provides synchronous learning. Therefore, it is necessary to research its use on the effectiveness of student learning in history learning. This research aims to obtain information about the correlation between using the Zoom Cloud Meeting and Zoom Cloud Meeting with students' effectiveness in History learning. The method used in this research is a correlation. The research populations were students in Bandung Senior High School, with research samples of 387 students. The instrument used was a questionnaire designed based on Davis's Theory Acceptance Model (TAM) and indicators of learning effectiveness by Slavin. The results of this research on the correlation between synchronous learning through Zoom Cloud Meeting and Zoom Cloud Meeting with the effectiveness of student learning are as follows: 1) There is a positive, significant, and moderate correlation between asynchronous learning through Google Classroom with the effectiveness of student learning, 2) There is positive, significant, and strong correlation between synchronous learning through Zoom Cloud Meeting and the effectiveness of student learning, 3) There are a positive, significant, and solid correlation between the combination of asynchronous and synchronous learning through Google Classroom and Zoom Cloud Meeting with the effectiveness of student learning.Keywords: Google Classroom, Learning Effectiveness, Zoom Cloud Meeting

Abstract

Social studies learning based on the local history of West Java aims to build a connection between students and everyday life. Local history materials will familiarize students with the community and living environment well; Have a positive sense of community and place of residence; Know and determine existing values ​​such as hard work, mutual respect, respect, loyal friends, and cooperation/cooperation. The main limitation of this research problem is how to develop West Java Local History material in social studies learning. The historical method explores and describes local West Java historical materials that can be used in social studies learning through heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Aspects of West Java's local history material that can be developed include: the value of local wisdom, local communities and traditional villages in West Java, the history of Sundanese ethnicity, the history of the Cirebon Sultanate, the development of Islamic boarding schools in West Java, Preanger Stelsel, local resistance to western colonial rule, West Java figures, Priangan reorganization, growth of cities in West Java, Pasundan Association, Sekar Rukun, and West Java Governor.

Abstract

Online learning activities (on the network) have become an option for the Ministry of Education and Culture to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus from expanding. This study aims to photograph or describe the process of learning history online by looking at all the learning tools prepared by the teacher and their implementation in online learning. This research was conducted in several high schools in Bandung, using a descriptive method, and the subjects were high school teachers. Meanwhile, data collection techniques were designed in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. From the results of this study, it was obtained an overview of how the implementation of online history learning in high school, which was neglected by the study program to prepare students to face the challenges of this pandemic. If this rapid change is not responded to with good preparation, you can experience stuttering in dealing with it, especially in the learning process in virtual classes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the researcher's interest in the development of women's education in the Siak Sultanate, to be precise, during the reign of Sultan Syarif Kasim II. The main problem studied in this research is how to manage women's education to the realization of educational outcomes in women's schools formed by Sultan Syarif Kasim II in 1927-1945. In general, this study aims to describe the pattern of women's education formed by Sultan Syarif Kasim II and his consort in the Siak Sultanate. This study was studied by applying historical methods, including four steps, namely heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. Based on the research findings, the pattern of women's education in Siak Sri Indrapura was formed directly by the sultanate including the formation of the curriculum, procurement of teachers and students and the facilities provided. Although both were managed by the sultanate, there were different styles of teaching between the two women's schools founded by Sultan Syarif Kasim II, namely Sultanah Latifah School which focused more on teaching hand skills and homemaking, and Madrasa Annisa which taught more Islamic religious knowledge. The results of the education of the two girls' schools gave birth to women who were prosperous in terms of changes in social institutions, which succeeded in becoming a weaver, educator, and preacher. Thus the management of education formed by Sultan Syarif Kasim II succeeded in contributing greatly to the welfare of women's education in the Sultanate of Siak Sri Indrapura

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mendeskripsikan latar belakang sejarah berdirinya organisasi Pasundan Istri pada tahun 1930, mendeskripsikan perkembangan organisasi Pasundan Istri pada tahun 1930-1970 dan menganalisis dampak dari perjuangan organisasi Pasundan Istri terhadap pendidikan kaum perempuan pada tahun 1930-1970. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian maka metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode sejarah, yaitu, melalui tahap heuristik, kritik, serta interpretasi dan historiografi, sumber yang diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan. Berkenaan dengan hal itu, penelitian ini bermaksud agar cita-cita dan usaha Pasundan Istri dapat dilanjutkan oleh kaum perempuan Sunda pada khususnya dan perempuan Indonesia pada umumnya. Dari hasil penelitian ini maka didapatkan data mengenai peranan PASI yang didirikan pada tahun 30 April 1930. Organisasi ini dibentuk dibawah kepengurusan Paguyuban Pasundan dan didirikan oleh Ny. Emma Poeradiredja bersama dan tokoh aktivis perempuan lain. Meskipun berada dalam naungan organisasi Paguyuban Pasundan, PASI pada dasarnya memiliki reglament dan pengurus pusat tersendiri bernama Centra Bestuur atau Rengrengan Sesepoeh Pasoendan Isteri. Pada awal pembentukannya organisasi ini bernama Pasoendan Bagian Isteri (PBI), tetapi tahun 1931 RSPI memutuskan untuk mengganti nama menjadi Pasundan Istri (PASI) serta menetapkan Emma Poeradiredja sebagai ketua umum PASI. PASI mengawali langkah awalnya dengan mendidik kaum perempuan dan masyarakat pada umumnya dengan memberikan andil untuk pemberdayaan perempuan berupa pendidikan yang luas, rasa empati yang tinggi dan upaya melestarikan seni budaya daerah. Penelitian ini  diharapkan dapat bermanfaat dalam pembelajaran sejarah di sekolah khususnya pada tingkat SMA dan menjadi rekomendasi untuk penelitian lain mengenai sejarah lokal yang ada di Bandung.

Abstract

This research elaborated the Turkestan’s life Muslim community in 1941 – 1945 under the Soviet Union. This research made based on researcher’s interest in the history of the Soviet Union’s Muslim community especially the Muslim community in Turkestan whowere in an apprehensive extreme condition when they were under the Stalin regime rule. That was the reason why Turkestan’s Muslim community finally fought back. The research aimed to identify the Turkestan Legion’s effort in fighting back Stalin’s regime. The method was the historical method. Turkestan’s Muslim community fought backbecause Stalin made a discriminative rule and disserve Turkestan’s Muslim community, such as prohibiting the religious freedom and occupied over all natural resources in Turkestan, which resulting poverty and hunger for Turkestan’s Muslim community because Turkestan got nothing from them. Therefore, when Germany invaded the Soviet Union on 22 June 1942, it benefited the Turkestan Muslim community by made cooperation with Germany to fight The Stalin regime. The cooperation between Germany and Turkestan Muslim community marked by forming Germany voluntary soldier with a special member from Turkestan’s Muslim community named TurkestanLegion. Not only used by Germany in fighting in the Soviet Union, but Turkestan Legion also took part in the fighting in Western Front faced England and the United State of America in Normandy.
