Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan model penyampaian materi tata bahasa, cakupan materi tata bahasa, dan kesesuaian materi tata bahasa dengan Kurikulum 2006 (KTSP) pada BSE bahasa Indonesia jenjang sekolah menengah pertama (SMP).Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah buku sekolah elektronik mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Data diperoleh melalui teknik membaca dan mencatat, dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis konten. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut. Pertama, model penyampaian materi tata bahasa dalam BSE bahasa Indonesia terdiri atas dua, yaitu pendekatan deduktif dan induktif. Pendekatan deduktif digunakan pada materi fonologi, morfologi, sintaksis, dan semantik. Pendekatan induktif digunakan pada materi morfologi, sintaksis, dan semantik. Kedua, cakupan materi tata bahasa yang terdapat pada buku sekolah elektronik bahasa Indonesia jenjang SMP/MTs  terdiri atas materi fonologi, morfologi, sintaksis, dan semantik. Materi fonologi hanya terdiri atas satu submateri, yaitu lafal dan diftong. Morfologi dibagi menjadi lima submateri, yaitu afiksasi, reduplikasi, kata tugas, kelas kata, dan penggunaan kata. Sintaksis dibagi menjadi tiga submateri, yaitu klausa, kalimat, dan fungsi SPOKPel. Semantik dibagi menjadi dua submateri, yaitu jenis-jenis semantik dan perubahan dan pergeseran makna. Ketiga, materi fonologi, morfologi, sintaksis, dan semantik, pada Standar Kompetensi dan Kompetensi Dasar tertentu telah sesuai dengan Kurikulum KTSP.Kata Kunci: buku ajar, buku sekolah elektronik (BSE), materi tata bahasa AN ANALYSIS OF GRAMMAR MATERIALSIN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL ELECTRONICS BOOKS (E-BOOKS) ABSTRACTThis study aims to reveal the model of delivery of grammar materials, the scope of grammar materials, and the compatibility of grammar materials with Curriculum 2006 which known as KTSP in junior high school Bahasa Indonesia's e-books. This study was a descriptive qualitative research. The data source was junior high school Bahasa Indonesia's e-books. The data were obtained through reading and noting technique, and analysed using the content analysis. The result of this study is as follows. First, there are two models of delivery of grammar materials used in Bahasa Indonesia's e-books. They are deductive and inductive approaches. The deductive approach is used in the delivery of phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantic materials. The inductive approach is used in the delivery of morphology, syntax, and semantic materials. Second, the grammar materials in junior high school Bahasa Indonesia's e-books consist of phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantic materials. Phonology materials consist of only one sub material pronunciation and diphthong. Morphology materials consist of five sub-materials: affixation, reduplication, said task, class word, and use of the word. Syntax materials consist of three sub-materials: clause, sentence, and function of subject, predicate, object. Semantic materials consist of two sub-materials including semantic and meaning changes. Third, phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantic materials integrated in certain competency standards and primary competency are compatible with KTSP Curriculum.Keywords: textbook, e-books, grammar materials

Abstract

rpieces remain timeless and his influence on the world of literature and artare greatly felt. The way typographical poetry, which is a kind of visual poetry orcalligram, is presented is extremely interesting and this article intends to describethe relation between the meaning of the words in the calligram and its pictorialform in one of Apollinaire's poems in the form of a calligram titled "La Cravate etLa Montre."The term calligram means "Belle Ecriture", that is, "beautiful writing",coming from the Greek words kallos, meaning "beautiful", and gramma, meaning"writing'. So a calligram work of art, also called visual poetry and typographicalpoetry, is a poem or poetic lines or lines of poetic words arranged in such a way thata picture is formed. To comprehend, enjoy, and appreciate well a poetical work,one needs to examine its various aspects. A poem in the form of a calligram needsto be structurally and semiotically analyzed. By means of such analysis, its fullmeaning could be obtained and it can be comprehended as a work of art with poeticvalues.The poem concerned here is a monologue coming from "I" to "you". Thisis strengthened by the presence of the subject on, meaning "we", the phrase monCoeur, meaning "my heart", and the phrase ton corps, meaning "your body". "I"intends to deliver an important message to mankind about life as a journey towardsdeath. One's life time in this world is extremely short so that one should spend thetime doing useful things. So a happy person is someone who makes use of time toenjoy life with freedom from strict rules. Life should not be burdened with manyrules that bind freedom. In Latin such a view is expressed in the phrase CarpeDiem, which corresponds to the French Mets í  profit le jour présent. This isreflected in the tie and clock shapes of the poem. A tie worn on the neck causes aconstricted feeling making one feels unable to breathe freely so that it must betaken off. The clock shape is used to refer to the passing of time illustrating life as ajourney towards God and death.Keywords: calligram, typographical poetry, iconicity

Abstract

(Title: An Ecranisation Study: From "Pintu Terlarang" Novel into Film). This rese­arch is aimed to: (1) describe the changing of the plot in Pintu Terlarang novel into film and (2) describe the changing of characterizations in Pintu Terlarang novel into film through ecranisation. The subject studied was Pintu Terlarang novel by Sekar Ayu Asmara and Pintu Terlarang film (2009) by Joko Anwar. The researcher used recording and note techniques to collect the data and examined in inductive comparative. The result shows that after the ecranisation use of plots and characterizations in the Pintu Terlarang film. The novel used three story lines merged into a movie storyline. The single plot was presented chronologically to describe Gambir's imaginary life which was presented quickly and densely. The film was more highlighted the conflict experienced by Gambir. The film was more dominated by the second sub-story in the novel. The modifications that occured in the film were in the form of reduction of character and duration of appearance, the alteration of position in the story and in physical characteristics, and the addition of the new characters. The changing of the characters was attached to the modification of the use and the function of the characters in the film.Keywords: adaptation, reception, alih wahana, screening, ecranisation, novel, film

Abstract

In German syntactic structure, an infinitive verb combines with a finiteverb in a verb phrase or complex verb to perform its function as the predicate of asentence. A syntactic construction which includes an infinitive form is called aninfinitive construction.Infinitive constructions in German are of two types: coherent andincoherent ones. The first type has no syntactic value and can function only as thepredicate of a sentence but the second type has a syntactic value and is a form ofquasi-sub-clause. Abstract

(Title: Perceptions About Indonesian Teachers, Learning Interests, and Learning Motivation with Student Learning Achievements in MTsN Semanu Gunungkidul). Teachers have a big role in fostering positive perceptions about Indonesian language learning. This positive perception will foster interest in students to learn Indonesian seriously. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between students 'perceptions of Indonesian teachers, students' interests and motivations in learning Indonesian subject matter with the learning achievements of Gunungkidul's 3 MTsN students. The correlation between students 'perceptions of Indonesian language teachers, students' interests and motivation in learning Indonesian language material with the students 'achievement in Gunungkidul's MTsN 3 is evidenced by the students' perceptions of Indonesian Language teachers (X1), which are included in quite a category (63.10%). Student perceptions of Indonesian language teachers have a positive relationship with student learning achievement as indicated by the value of b1 of 0.413. The relationship between students' perceptions of Indonesian teachers and student learning achievement is significant as indicated by the value of tcount (8,352) greater than ttable (1,960).Keywords: perception, interest, motivation, learning achievement

Abstract

(Title: Students` Self-Created Youtube Videos: A 21st Century Speaking Assessment). The Regulation of the Minister for Education and Culture Affair number 69 2013, which regulates the Basic Framework and Curriculum Structure of High School/ Islamic High School, has regulated English subjects meeting which is now trimmed to 2 hours meeting in a week which was 4 hours meetings prior to the implementation of this regulation. The teachers, therefore, are expected to adapt to this new regulation in improving their students` speaking skill. Information and Technology rapid advancement has allowed the teachers to apply it in teaching and learning process. This paper is therefore aimed at describing the employment of Information and Technology (YouTube) in assessing students` speaking skill.Keywords: speaking skill, youtube, assessment

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuiprestasi membaca peserta didikyang diajar menggunakan media picture stories, metode vocabulary games, dan metodetradisional dan perbedaan yang signifikan dalam prestasi membaca antara peserta didikyang diajar menggunakan media picture stories dan metode vocabulary games denganpeserta didik yang diajar menggunakan metode tradisional. Jenis penelitian ini adalahquasi experiment dengan desain pretest-posttest, nonequivalent control group design.Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII di seluruh SMP Negeri dikecamatan Sleman. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling.Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik non-parametrik Kruskal-WallisTest. Penelitianini menunjukkan hasil: media picture stories, metode vocabulary games dan metodetradisional efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran membaca teks recount dan ada perbedaanyang signifikan dalam prestasi membaca antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan mediapicture stories, metode vocabulary games, dan metode tradisional dalam pembelajaranmembaca teks recount.Kata Kunci: picture stories, vocabulary games, membaca teks recount
