Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan wawasan bisnis, memberi pengalaman mengelolausaha tahu tempe bagi mahasiswwa dan menjalin kerjasama antara PT, UNY khususnya denganPRIMKOPTI.Program ini berjudul "Pelatihan Manajemen Usaha Koperasi Tahu Tempe". Tujuannya adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada peserta dalam mengelola usaha tahu tempe, serta memperluas wawasan bisnisnya. Para pesera yang mengikuti program ini lebih ditekankan pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir dan memiliki minat dan motivasi yang tinggi untuk berwirausaha. Sebelum diterjunkan ke lokasi industri, para peserta terlebih dahulu diberikan pembekalan mengenai misi dan visi usaha kecil manajemen strategik dan pereneanaan usaha keeil, permodalan dan pemasaran usaha kecil, serta peluang dan tantangan usaha kecil. Magang dilaksanakan selama 2 (dua) bulan penuh di 4 (empat) perusahaan mitra yang berada di DIY. Dalam pelaksanaannya peserta memperoleh bimbingan dan pengarahan yang intensif dari dosen pembimbing dan pembimbing lapangan (praktisi).Evaluasi pelaksanaan magang diJakukan denagn cara observasi langsung, wawncara dan lembar penilaian. Evaluasi tersebut lebih diarahkan pada aspek kualitas pekerjaan, kecepatan kerja, pengetahuan kerja, sikap, kedisiplinan, dan kreativitas. Untuk mengukur kesiapan peserta untuk menjadi wirausahawan didasarkan pada kemampuan peserta untuk membuat proposal pendirian usaha baru yang layak dan kernampuan dalam membuat rengana pengajuan kredit. Hasil penilaian pemboimbing lapangan menunjukkan bahwa umumnya peserta memperoleh nilai baik dan sangat baik. 90% peserta juga telah mampu membuat proposalpengajuan kredit. Pihak industri juga merasa senang dengan kegiatan magang ini karen a adanya kesediaan untuk bekerja sarna kembali dimasa yang akan datang.Kata kunci : Program magang kewirausahaan

Program intention of this activity, which named job trammg. on~:::rrepreneurship,is giving the partical experience stock in the form of knowledge,skill, also motivation and attitude objectively, to all student as participant while aving a job training, doing together-the performance totally in the field of ceramic decorated industry.Further is also expected, that the participant will be able to apply the values of entrepreneurship, to be a benefit to the student after finishing their lecture in a period to coming. -Method and execition pattern used in this job training's activity is, within the theory of stock purchasing, conception about entrepreneurship, and the management of medium small enterprise, and also direct pratice in industry., Result of this activity execution is inferential as follows. All of the participant from this job training on entrepreneurship have done the following activities. a) Stock phase in purchasing which located in campus; b) Practising of preproduce phase directly, in the from of ceramic raw material processing, namely clay; c) Practising the production, which consists of these activities : design making, making of product printing; mould, ceramic products making by various techniques, practising in draining and will product, and also finishing product by various techniques, d) Practice or application the experince on postproduction phase, which consists as follow; study of the warehousing, naking of packing product, and management of show room; and e) The study of managing an enterprise and making of new proposal which aims to effort a new enterprise.Key words: training, production, and finishing ceramic.

The PPM FT UNY team shall implements the IPTEKS in actrvrty of Strategi Planning Worshop for focusing to problem sloving. The following problem points may appear on the school, namely : school wants information for conducting the shool needs analysis; and schoolwork program drawled up could require a strategic planning process which oriented for school needs in field of life skills.The purpose of this IPTEKS apllication program is to increase school headmaster ability for making the schoolwork program based a strategic planning process. Therefore headmasters of SMU have skills in areas : (1) The ability to conduct the school needs analysis; (2) The ability to formulate the school vision and mission; (3) The ability to draw up plans for school development; (4) The ability to perform SWOT analysis (internal and external condition); (5) The ability to formulate the school objective; (6) The ability to understand of the way to formulate strategy.Methods used in Strategic Planning Workshop are lecture, question-answer, demonstration, group task, seminar, guidance to make the schoolwork programs based a strategic planning process, and games in outbound training. Learning approaches used in this training are adult education and pratice.The result of Strategic Planning Workshop can be concludes as follows1. Participants have global vision in tehnology and strategic issues of education as formulation and development prpcess of the schoolwork programs for increasing quality of education in each school.2. Participants can formulate and develop the schoolwork programs based strategic planning process that oriented for school needs in field of life skills.3. Participants can develop self-power as headmasters who have the transformationalleadership for implement the schoolwork programs based strategic planning and can operational control this program integrated.Key words: strategic planning - life skill.

The purpose of community service is to (1) increase the awareness towards the environment; (2) improving the quality of life; and (3) improvelife peace and comfort. The method used is socialization, composting trainingand craft-making training busing household waste. The results of community service is the socienty's standard of living of as individuals and groups was improved through waste management business, the public awareness in saving the environment was increased. The quality of urban environment with waste management was increased through the applying of 3R (Reuse, Reduce and Recycle) and the society's cognitive and conative aspects were also improved regarding to the integrated waste management

This Community Service Program is intended to (1) provide knowledge and skills on local content subject-matter PKK for Junior High School teachers, such as handycraft which is made from natural materials, textile, and recycled materials, (2) develop the PKK teachers' creativity in handycraft making for Junior High School students.This training uses classical approach for teoritical material and individualapproach for practical material. In oeder to get optimal results, an intimate individual guidance is provided during the practical process. Evaluation is performed during the practical process, practical outcomes, and post-training periods.Outcomes of this training are handicraft products such as: (l) picture framefrom cardboard covered with dried leaves, (2) mascot from batik's scraps, (3) buffetdecoration from bathing soap and water lace, (4) pencil cap from flannel, and (5) free style works, such as accessories from banana stem and tissue box from used ice cream spoon. Results of the evaluation on the participants' works show that 42 % of the participants' reach the excelent category. The observation performed after the training show that 90% of the participans have implemented the training outcomes.the material most frequently implemented for the junior high school sudents in the making of picture frame from cardboard and dried leaves, where as the least frequent materials implemented is book self decoration form bathing soap and water lace. This is due to the relatively high price of the material and need more difficult material preparation than the others. The participants' responses during the training are very good, these are proved by their enthusiasm and determination in performing tasks given by their respective instructor as well as the participants' comments about their impression and messages indicating that this training can open the insight and blow fresh wind for the local content subject-matter PKK. AbstractThis Unit UJI Program aims to: (1) add income for UNY and itsacademic members, (2) supply facilities for the lecturers and students toconduct research and community service activities, (3) prepare new jobs inthe glazuur material industry sector, and (4) give opportunities and workingexperience (new work field) for the UNY students.The development of the glazuur material products applies certainchemical reaction principles affected by composition (chemical substanceconcentration), reaction temperature, chemical characteristic, and physicalcharacteristic of the chemical substance. Variations of the concentration,temperature, and chemical substance in a chemical reaction will producevarious glazuur colors. The product development method was conducted byan experimental research in the Building Material Laboratory and theChemical Laboratory UNY. The marketing strategy runs by promotionthrough regional and national expo activities and direct selling toconsumers. The product marketing runs through PT. UNY MULTIUTAMA, the ceramic tile industry ”PWS” Godean, and Timboel KeramikKasongan.The business products of the UJI unit in UNY are categorized intothree groups: (1) glazuur materials, (2) glazuur tiles, and (3) glazuurceramics. Various glazuur colours being produced are green, blue, brown,black, grey, yellow, chromic red, lead chromic red, and oxcyde. Thebusiness product specifications having been produced are: (1) the glazuurmaterials have an added value in aesthetics because they have various brightcolors and the burning temperature is lower compared to the existingmarketed glazuur materials, (2) the glazuur tiles have more aestheticalappearance, not porous, smoother surface, and higher elastical strength andlower water absorption compared to non-glazuur materials, (3) glazuurceramics have smaller surface pores compared to non-glazuur materials so itwill not wet although they are exposed with water for 48 hours. Theliquefied test in the buffer solution with pH4 shows that there are metals inliquefied glazuur materials, but the amount is still below the threshold, so itwill not endanger the environment. Although the incubation period ofDP2M has been over, the business prospect of the glazuur material UJI unitInotek, Volume 13, Nomor 2, Agustus 2009136is predicted to succeed because of the raw material availability in relativelycheap cost but relatively high product selling values.Keywords: glazuur materials, ceramics, and tiles

Program MKU yang dilaksanakan ini bertujuan memberi pengetahuan keterampilan, dan sikap di bidang jasa~- vawasan manajemen kewirausahaan di bidang perawatan/pemeliharaan dan perbaikan peralatan pemakai listrik rti ac, kulkas, frezzer, mesin cuci, trafo, dan peralatan rumah tangga lainnya bagi mahasiswa Jurusan-.:_ididikan Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi ::le::daftaran peserta, seleksi peserta, pelaksanaan magang kewirausahaan dan evaluasi program/kegiatan. Kriteria~ ~ dapat mengikuti magang adalah mahasiswa yang minimal duduk di semester VII dan mempunyai motivasi dan- cat yang tinggi, baik mahasiswa yang belum atau sudah menempuh praktek industri. Setelah mahasiswa-,:. gikuti pembekalan dengan materi : menumbuhkan jiwa wirausaha, upaya mendapatkan modal/manajemen=-_angan, liku-liku mendirikan suatu usaha (kewirausahaan), dan manajemen industri, mahasiswa diterjunkan ke~ i perawatan/pemeliharaan dan perbaikan {service) peralatan pemakai listrik (alat-alat rumah tangga). Di z+ping industri sebagai pembimbing utama, para mahasiswa juga mendapatkan bimbingan secara rutin melalui egraran monitoring dari dosen.Kegiatan mahasiswa di industri mendapat penilaian tentang : kemampuan, keterampilan, disiplin, dan sikapJa oleh pembimbing industri. Setelah selesai mengikuti program magang, mahasiswa diwajibkan menyusun_ cposal mendirikan bengkel jasa perawatan/pemeliharaan dan perbaikan (service) peralatan pemakai listrik. Darize anaan magang, sembilan mahasiswa dinilai sangat baik, dan satu orang mahasiswa dinilai baik. The training was started from the problems of the weaknesses of teachers' competence in developing craft design and skills on teaching strategy aimed for the students. Based on that problem, the teachers asked for an instructional skill training to develop the design insight, the teaching strategy, and the work of arts as a scientific work. This training was aimed to develop the knowledge and the skill of craft design by utilizing various materials, forming techniques and its instruction method for the students, to know the craft product produced by the craft teachers in Junior High School, to give knowledge for the craft teachers of junior high school in describing the work of arts as scientific work. The training method used was a presentation to deliver the knowledge of the development of craft design, craft instruction, and description of the work of arts as scientific work. The demonstration method was used to explain the production process of craft made from the gypsum by molding technique. The presentation method by the participants of the training was to be able to take the responsibility of the result of the craft, the craft instructional strategy applied in schools, and the presentation of arts description as scientific work. The teachers who participated could join the training well and they could understand the material given by the trainer team. The teachers could make some work of craft and they could apply it in the instruction by using the method they choose in the school well. Most of them are weak in developing craft design which is covered for the need of student instructions based on the development of the students. The work of craft made by the teachers can be used as the instructional media to work on arts as well as scientific work. The teachers apply the instructional method by observing, imitating, and modificating to make work of arts. The example given by model as the instructional media is not merely to be imitated but it is also to motivate the students in doing the work of arts. The teachers make the description of work of arts as the scientific work gave quite a good result. The description of the work of craft is used to develop the competence and the improvement of the teacher's career in the future

The goal of the public service an the title Assistance of Pengasih Subdistrict Kulon Progo District as the Sendangsari Arrangement to be Tourst Village, Nature, Art and Industry (Part I) are: (1) to know the natural factor and society in Sendangsari Pengasih Kulonprogo that can be developed into ODTW, (2) to know the desire and the ability of the society in Sendangsari Pengasih Kulon Pro go that can support tourism activities.This public service uses sociological-democratic and anthropological approach. The intermediary target object of this public servise are tourism and culture official of Kulon progo District, the subdistric head of Pengasih, the chief and the servant of Sendangsari Village. Mean while, the main target are the famous figures of the Sendangsari Village. The activity method of this public servise are visiting to the Celereng tourist spot, touring area and discussing target object.The result of this public service activity are: 1) The main and intermediary target support the Celereng Tourist Spot Development Programs. 2) There is Kelompok SadarWiscua (Pokdarwis) Sendangsari established based on Keputusan Lurah Desa Sendangsari nomor 04 tahun 2002 tanggal 16 Agustus 2002. 3) The activity programs based on the meeting of the servant team and the target object on August 2, 2002 will be held. The servant team raises some suggestions. They are: 1) The target object should monitor and evaluate the activities regularly and continuously, so the program can be held or the plan. 2) This public service should be continued into part II it can to support the relizaation of Kawasan wisata Clereng that can increase the society welfare around the tourist spot. 3) The intermediary target should increase the coordination with LPM UNY (the servant team), so there is no overlapping program. The programs should support each other depend on its functions.Key words: tourism village

The voucher program entitled "Manufacturing Ornamental Stone Cutting Machine for Small Building Ornament Industries" aims to increase productivity of the CY. PURBA KRIAST A especially in cutting ornamental stone being produced. It also wants to know the size and productivity of such ornamental stone machine.The steps of this manufacturing ornamental stone cutting machine areplanning, machine manufacturing, and training for industry partner workers. The planning step includes : (1) designing machine plan draft, (2) calculating the needed materials, and (3) calculating the implementation cost. The machine-manufacturing step includes: (1) material cutting to fit the work draft, (2) welding, (3) assembling, (4) electric installation. (5) machine performance test, and (6) painting. The training for industry partner workers consists of : (1) theory and speech delivery, (2) demonstration of machine using, and (3) machine using practice by the industry partner workers.The result of the voucher program is realization of an ornamental stone cutting machine and skill achievement by the industry partner workers in the machine operation. The ornamental stone cutting machine was made of right-angled iron frame sizing 80x80x7 mm, 50x50x5 mm, and 30x30x3 mm, combined with steel plate of 3 rnrn thick. The machine size is 120 em length, 60 em width, and 190 em height, moved by a 1 phase electric motor power SEM of 1 HP and rotation speed of 2800RPM. The cooling system uses water moved by an aquarium pump. The machine performance and productivity especially for cutting straight forms has speed of 8 to10 times faster compared with manual cutting having been done lip till now.Key words: stone cutting machine, and small ornamental stone industry.
