Abstract

This Community Service aimed to train the managers of Gari Tourism Village to improve their knowledge and skills in tourism governance, raise community awareness, and develop local tourism potential. The program was conducted for two days. On June 8, 2024, a presentation on Tourism Awareness, Regional Potential Development, and Community Empowerment for Sustainable Tourism was delivered by Mr. Agung Sulistyo, S.E., M.M., CHE. On June 9, 2024, practical training and mentoring on Tourism Village management were carried out, guided by the same resource person with the service team. The methods used were lectures, discussions, practice, and evaluation. The evaluation results showed that participants’ knowledge and understanding of Tourism Village management significantly improved after the training

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of Downsyndrome children in exercising. This community service activity also improves the cognition of downsyndrome children to be better by doing sports activities. This activity can be a talent guide for downsyndrome children in the field of sports. This activity is composed of several posts that can hone downsyndrome children in terms of cognition with activities Arranging puzzles and matching shapes. To improve skills with posts to enter the ball, move the ball and kick the ball. This activity was carried out for 1 day on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 08.00-11.30 which was attended by 30 downsyndrome child participants. This activity was carried out at the Yogyakarta State University Community Sports Park (TOM). It is hoped that after the activity is completed, good cooperation can be established to explore the potential of downsyndrome children in increasing knowledge and skills in sports.

Abstract

The Community Service Program in Karimunjawa Village, Jepara, Central Java, aims to improve the understanding and skills of family financial management among housewives. The problem is addressed through three stages of activities: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation stage involves conducting a preliminary survey to assess field conditions, followed by training and mentoring. The methods used include lectures, question-and-answer sessions, and discussions. The results of the training program indicate that 90% of participants successfully understand basic financial concepts, while 89% of them have a good understanding of family financial planning and management. Furthermore, 71% of participants successfully implemented effective family financial management practices after receiving guidance from the facilitators.

Abstract

This training aims to train Indonesian language teachers in using AI actively, creatively, and innovatively as artificial intelligence-based learning media in the era of learning with a deep learning approach. The activity was attended by 40 Indonesian language teachers from MTs and MA in Bantul Regency. This program is in collaboration with the MGMP Bahasa Indonesia MTs, Bantul Regency and supported by the Department of Education, Department of Religious Affairs, Bantul Regency. The training activity was held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, offline at MAN 3 Bantul, followed by assignments and mentoring, then met again online on June 16, 2025. . The output of this activity is a learning design created by participants by incorporating AI elements integrated into project-based learning. In addition, the results of the satisfaction evaluation showed that participants considered this activity very beneficial for them, especially increasing insight and making language learning more interesting and enjoyable.

Abstract

Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) contribute significantly to the national economy, with remittances exceeding USD 10 billion annually. These funds not only support household incomes but also enhance the country’s balance of payments. However, many PMI lack sufficient financial literacy, leading to poor financial planning, impulsive spending, and vulnerability to financial fraud, particularly illegal investment schemes. To address these challenges, this community service program was implemented to improve financial literacy and investment capacity among PMI in Malaysia. The program applied a participatory, community-based approach and was delivered over four weeks in eight interactive sessions using blended learning methods. Training content was tailored to the socio-cultural realities of PMI, covering essential topics such as budgeting, saving, debt management, legal investments, and the use of financial technology (fintech). Quantitative evaluation through pre- and post-tests indicated a substantial improvement in financial knowledge, with average participant scores increasing by 64.8%. Over 80% of participants successfully developed personal and household financial plans, while 70% demonstrated the ability to differentiate between legal and illegal investments. Qualitative insights from interviews and reflective journals revealed behavioral changes, such as reduced impulsive spending, increased savings discipline, and stronger motivation for financial independence. Significantly, several participants committed to becoming community financial literacy ambassadors, demonstrating the program’s potential for sustainable impact beyond the training sessions. These findings highlight that a contextually adapted, community-driven educational model can effectively empower PMI to make informed financial decisions, enhance their economic resilience abroad, and support a smoother financial reintegration upon returning to Indonesia.

Abstract

Sebagai bagian dari urun rembuk perguruan tinggi dalam konsep dosen bertugas di luar kampus, tim PkM merancang pelatihan penyusunan media pembelajaran berbantuan game bagi guru MGMP Bahasa Indonesia MTs di Kabupaten Bantul. Program berorientasi kinerja: penguatan konsep inti (deep learning, taksonomi Solo, rapid prototyping (tradisional-plus dan digital-ringan), simulasi/uji coba untuk umpan balik sejawat lalu pendampingan revisi hingga siap implementasi. Melalui pendekatan ini, diharapkan guru memiliki kerangka kerja yang operasional untuk merancang pengalaman belajar yang berpusat pada peserta didik, meningkatkan keterlibatan tiga dimensi, dan menumbuhkan kompetensi literasi yang lebih mendalam serta berkelanjutan. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 40 guru Bahasa Indonesia MTs se-Kabupaten Bantul dan dirancang sebagai program berbasis kinerja yang memadukan penguatan konsep, studio desain, simulasi/umpan balik, serta pendampingan implementasi. Metode pelatihan dilakukan dengan cara blended yang menggabungkan kegiatan secara daring dan luring. Pengelompokkan peserta dilakukan berdasarkan indikator lama mengajar, penguasaan teknologi informasi, dan kekerapan menggunakan media, serta tantangan penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran. Pelatihan penyusnan berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas psikologis mereka dalam menghadapi tantangan kerja. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa intervensi berbasis pengembangan kepribadian dan profesionalisme memiliki dampak positif terhadap kualitas. Namun, efektivitas pelatihan tidak hanya dapat dinilai dari hasil jangka pendek berupa peningkatan motivasi dan resiliensi, tetapi juga dari sejauh mana guru mampu mengimplementasikan perubahan tersebut dalam praktik pembelajaran dan interaksi sehari-hari. Berdasarkan uraian di atas, program pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru MTs harus dilakukan secara kontinyu dan sebaiknya diintegrasikan dalam sistem pendampingan berkelanjutan yang holistik.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam strategi pemasaran dan daya saing usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM). Namun, sebagian besar pelaku UMKM masih menghadapi kendala dalam pemanfaatan teknologi digital secara optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi digital dan kemampuan implementasi e-marketing bagi pelaku UMKM di Kampung Emas Bumijo, Jetis, Kota Yogyakarta. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif melalui tahapan pelatihan konseptual, praktik langsung, dan pendampingan teknis. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 35–40% pada kemampuan peserta dalam membuat akun bisnis digital, menyusun konten promosi, dan memahami strategi branding online. Dukungan fisik berupa bantuan tenda jualan juga diberikan untuk menunjang aktivitas pemasaran langsung. Implementasi e-marketing telah memperluas jangkauan pasar hingga 15% serta meningkatkan interaksi pelanggan (engagement) sekitar 20%. Selain itu, terbentuk komunitas digital “Pusat Digital UMKM Bumijo (PDU Bumijo)” sebagai wadah promosi dan kolaborasi berkelanjutan antar pelaku usaha. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa kombinasi antara pelatihan berbasis praktik, pendampingan berkelanjutan, dan dukungan sarana fisik efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas digital UMKM, sekaligus memperkuat ekosistem ekonomi kreatif berbasis teknologi di tingkat komunitas. Model kegiatan ini dapat direplikasi pada wilayah lain dengan karakter sosial ekonomi serupa sebagai strategi pemberdayaan ekonomi digital berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Kualitas hidup lansia diukur dalam bentuk kepuasan terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan lansia dengan berbagai macam faktor meliputi kesehatan fisik, hubungan sosisal, kesehatan lingkungan, psikologi, tempat tinggal, serta kualitas aktivitas lansia. Fase lansia ditandai dengan adanya proses degenerasi sel, jaringan, dan organ tubuh Penurunan fungsi tersebut menyebabkan gangguan pada sistem gerak motorik, homeostatis, massa otot berkurang, neurologis, imunitas tubuh, penurunan kognitif, dan perubahan sistem sensorik, seperti penglihatan dan pendengaran yang buruk. Pemberian sosialisasi program terapi latihan dan terapi relaksasi sebagai penerapan peningkatan kualitas hidup lansia Sasana Wredha Mulya sesuai dengan kondisi yang dibutuhkan. Diharapkan adanya acara tersebut dapat meningkatkan keeratan sosial maupun akitvitas fisik lansia yang secara tidak langsung dapat menjaga imunitas lansia. Kegiatan PKM berupa penyelenggaraan Sosialisasi dan Pelatihan Health-Related Quality of Life Dan Associated Factors In Functionally Melalui Self Exercise And Relaxation Bagi Lansia DIY di Panti Sasana Wredha Mulya, Sinduadi, Mlati, Yogyakarta telah terlaksana dengan baik sesuai jadwal yang telah ditetapkan yaitu pada tanggal 10 Mei 2025 survey dan obesrvasi, 17 mei 2025 sosialisasi penyakit degeneratif, 24 mei 2025 praktik self exercise and self relaxation, dan 31 Mei 2025 monitoring kegiatan aktivitas fisik. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 62 Lansia Sasana Wredha Mulya secara antusias.

Abstract

Terapi masase adalah teknik sentuhan atau usapan yang di rangkai sedemikian rupa yang di desain untuk mengurangi nyeri, menormalkan tonus otot atau jaringan guna mengembalikan gerak dan fungsi sistem muskuloskeletal yang didahului dengan pemeriksaan dan evaluasi secara komperehensif terhadap keluhan pasien. Stretching adalah bentuk dari penguluran atau peregangan pada otot-otot di setiap anggota badan agar dalam setiap melakukan aktivitas terdapat kesiapan serta untuk mengurangi dampak cedera yang sangat rentan terjadi. Oleh karena itu, urgensi dari permasalahan ini adalah perlu adanya Pelatihan Kombinasi Terapi Masase dan Stretching di Kampung Emas Krapyak Seyegan agar pengelola atau instruktur pendamping dapat melakukan pertolongan pertama dan pencegahan perawatan cedera aktivitas atau olahraga yang terjadi. Tujuan: kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini diadakan dengan tujuan (1) Untuk memberikan pelatihan Kombinasi Terapi Masase dan Stretching di Kampung Emas Krapyak Seyegan dan (2) Untuk meningkatkan keterampilan serta pengetahuan pengelola dan instruktur tentang Kombinasi Terapi Masase dan Stretching. Metode: pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diberikan dengan melakukan pelatihan secara langsung kepada pengelola tentang Kombinasi Terapi Masase dan Stretching. Target luaran: luaran dari kegiatan PkM ini diharapkan mampu mewujudkan naskah kerjasama/IA, dan video pelatihan Kombinasi Terapi Masase dan Stretching. Melalui kegiatan ini, masyarakat kampung emas krapyak ix tidak hanya memperoleh manfaat kesehatan, tetapi juga peluang untuk mengembangkan keterampilan yang dapat diaplikasikan secara praktis dalam kehidupan sehari-hari maupun untuk mendukung kemandirian ekonomi. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan mencakup penyampaian teori tentang konsep dasar sport massage, demonstrasi teknik oleh praktisi profesional, dan praktik langsung yang melibatkan peserta secara aktif. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman, serta observasi langsung selama praktik untuk menilai penguasaan teknik. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai manfaat dan teknik sport massage, serta antusiasme untuk mempraktikkannya secara mandiri. Kendati demikian, terdapat saran untuk memperpanjang durasi praktik untuk pendalaman keterampilan. Dengan pendekatan komprehensif, sosialisasi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat kampung emas krapyak ix.

Abstract

Community Service Activities at MAN 2 Magelang aim to improve pedagogical competence in the application of innovative learning models that are tailored to the characteristics of students. Problems are solved through blended training methods, both offline and online. The activities included lectures, discussions, and practical application of learning models in the form of Lesson Plans (PP). The activities were conducted offline on June 13-14, 2025, and online via Zoom on August 29, 2025, attended by 62 teachers from MAN 2 Magelang with various subject backgrounds. The success of this activity can be measured in terms of process and product. In terms of process, the activity was successfully carried out according to the agreed schedule and was attended by participants in an orderly manner, as indicated by the participation of participants in each activity. In terms of product, this activity has produced teaching modules that have been compiled by teachers who have strived to implement innovative learning with diverse abilities. In addition, the mandatory output of the activity has also been compiled, namely the MoA manuscript, IA, media publications in Suara Merdeka Kedu on June 18, 2025, along with a draft article. There were no obstacles that arose in this activity because both the service team and partners were solid teams and there were no communication barriers. At the end of the activity, the partners hoped that there would be a continuation of similar training to further strengthen their abilities.
