Abstract

This civil serving program was aimed to give live skills basedentrepreneurship as an alrernative asset for vocational school students,especially for vocational school number I at Depok Sleman. The students,majoring in food and beverage, was expected to have knowledge and live skills which was needed to enter the work World, whether it was a privateBusiness or working in product or service company with a deserve salary.  Fifteen student and five teachers from vocational schools number IDepok Sleman Yogyakarta followed the program. The teaching method,which was used for the program, was speech and answering a question,demonstration and practice, and industrial survey. The practice programwas done trice by making six kinds of food and industrial survey in twoprospective food companies at Yogyakarta.  The result of the civil serving program is very satisfying. It can beseen by the absence and the followers anthusiasm. The practice results arewell and maximum, the taste of the foods are good. Industrial Survey,which has never been done befote, is an interesting and exciting learningsituation. Keywords: entrepreneurship, live skills, and vocational school

Abstract

Tujuan  pokok  Karya Alternatif  Mahasiswa (KAM) ini adalah memberikan  pengetahuan  danketra.npilan praktis kepada  mahasiswa melalui pelatihan  eetak sablon pada matakuliah pendidikan ketrampilan di jurusan  PLB. Target luaran yang diharapkan adalah (1) mahasiswa dapat menguasai pengetahuan  dan teori  pereetakan sablon, (2) memiliki ketrampilan praktek pereetakan sablon dari setting, membuat klise, mengafdruk, sampai menyablon pada bahan kertas, kain, plastik, dan benda padat, (3) menguasai manajemen dan pemasaran produk  sablon, (4) Mahasiswa mampu menyusun proposal bidang kewirausahaan eetak sablon.Metode kegiatan adalah : (1) ceramah, menginformasikan kepada mahasiswa pengetahuan danprospek  eetak  sablon,  (2)  mendemonstrasikan  langkah-langkah  pelaksanaan  praktek  sablon  dari setting sampai membuat produk, (3) pemberian tugas, mahasiswa mempraktekkan pengetahuan dari eara setting sampai meneetak berbagai maeam produk  sablon, (4) diskusi membiearakan kesulitan­ kesulitan dalam praktek sabloon.Komoditas yang dihasilkan  selama pelatihan  Karya Alternatif Mahasiswa (KAM);  (1) bahan kertas  menghasilkan  kartu  nama,  kalender,  dos  tempat  makan,  undangan,  stiker,  (2)  bahan  kainmenghasilkan kaos model, bendera, ronteklumbul-umbul,  ikat kepala dan sleyer, (3) bahan plastik menghasilkan stiker, kantong plastik, stopmap, etiket, (4) bhan benda keras menghasilkn souvenir, papan nama, gantungan kunei. Kata  kunci : Karya  Alternatif  Mahasiswa  (KAM)

Abstract

Tujuan utama kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mengembangkan dan menerapkan bahasa Jawa bahasa Jawa, idiom-idiom bahasa Jawa, dan seni budaya Jawa guna memenuhi kebutuhan penyuluhan pembangun para juru penerang di DIYOleh karena bentuk kegiatannya berupa pelatihan dan lokakarya keterampilan berbahasa, maka metode yang dig adalah ceramah, diskusi, laboratori, dan praktik lapangan.Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah khalayak sasaran telah meningkat kemampuan berbaha untuk komunikasi Iisan. Peserta telah dapat menyusun naskah penyuluhan pembangunan dalam bahasa Jawa. Peser dapat mengembangkandan menerapkanragam bahasa Jawa, yaitu ragam bahasa krama alus. Peserta telah dapat mengemb dan menerapkan idiom-idiom bahasa Jawa yang berfungsi sebagai penjelas, alat pendidikan, dan pengawas norma masyarakat agar selalu dipatuhi. Peserta telah dapat mengembangkan unsur seni dan budaya Jawa untuk men penyuluhan pembangunan, dengan menggunakan karya sastra dan budaya Jawa sebagai sumber nilai dan hiburan.

Abstract

This  civil  serving  program  was  aimed  to  give  alternative  skill  for vocational school`s teacher especially business and management group. It was hoped can develop entrepreneur`s school, especially in technology and processing and preservation technologies ginger. This activity follow by vocational school' teacher especially bussines and management group in Sleman district. There are SMK N 1 Tempel, SMK N 1 Godean, SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Moyudan, SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Tempel, SMK N 1 Depok, SMK YPKK 1 Sleman, dan SMK YPKK 2 Tempel. Twenty teacher have deputy of the sample to this program. The teaching method which is used to support this program successfully are speech, answering a question, practice, and industrial survey. The practice was done twice by making seven kinds product of ginger. The result of civil service program by programmer and followers  is very satisfying. It can be seen by absence and follower's anthusiasm. The result of practice are well and maximum. Product which is made from ginger with good procedure

Abstract

Abstract

Kegiatan  ini bertujuan  untuk  memasyarakatkan  teknik  pembuatan  kompos  dengan  menggunakan  cacing  tanah(vermicomposting) sebagai salah satu alternatifdalam  penanganan limbah organik bagi masyarakat petani pedesaan.Khalayak sasaran kegiatan ini adalah petani pedesaan di desa Sardonoharjo, kecamatan Ngaglik, dan kelompok kandang "Andhini Sembada" desa Kepuh Harjo, kecamatan Cangkringan semuanya terdapat di wilayah kebupaten Sleman Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.   Kegiatan diselenggarakan pada bulan Agustus 1996 hingga Januari 1997. Kegiatan ini terlaksana berkat adanya kerja sama antara petani masyarakat di kedua desa pembangunan stasiun pembuatan kompos dengan agen perombak cacing tanah, menyediakan bahan-bahan yang dibutuhkan serta tenaga kerja, sedang perguruan tinggi berlaku sebagai nara sumber. Dalam kegiatan ini digunakan kotoran ternak (sapi),  sampah kandang, jerami kering.Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat desa memperoleh pengalaman baru perihal cacing tanah yang mempunyai kemampuan merombak Iimbah organik. Setelah memperoleh pengetahuan tentang caeing tanah dan cara-cara pengomposan dengan cacing tanah, maka setelah diadakan pembangunan stasiun percobaan kompos, masyarakat menganggap bahwa cara­ cara yang diterapkan sangat mudah dan tidak memerlukan teknologi tinggi. Dengan kata lain respon masyarakat cukup positif. Apalagi di sekitar lokasi percobaan dekat kawasan wisata baru lapangan golfMerapi, yang membutuhkan keteduhan untuk ditanami berbagai pohon yang tentunya membutuhkan pupuk organik kompos.

Abstract

The  amount  of  potential  perpetrators  of  sports  and  various  sports- dimensional spheres such as education sport, sports recreation and sports achievement growth opportunities of a sports field of industrial commodities in public life. Looking at the economic reality, one would determine the type of any business will find many obstacles, because the merchandise changes often irrational prices. With the availability of fitness and exercise laboratories that complete the tool can be used for college students and training for the general public. Availability of lecturers teaching 5 courses in physical condition, 9 lecturers as a gymnastics instructor and as a physical trainer consultant in various clubs in Yogyakarta. Encourage the creation of services through the gymnastics and fitness instructor is hope and good opportunities as an alternative to the creation of new jobs for college graduates, which will reduce unemployment. Mentoring activities both in class and in the field carried out as many as 14 x meetings / face to face in accordance with predetermined schedule. Activities, dated Wednesday July 29, 2009 was held Mid Semester as one means of evaluation of activities, dated August 19, 2009 implementation of activities to the field observations of the participants by placing the participants at the appointed place. On the day on Monday and Wednesday 24, August 26 execution of apprenticeship in the field practice schedule has been determined. Evaluations of this program are the participants are required to formulate proposals with business formation assistance from some experts. At the end of final exams conducted  activities  for  the participants to  know the  final outcome of this entrepreneurship course. From the results of the implementation of field activities and the many benefits, it is deemed there is need for follow-up of this activity either similar or perhaps on the level of activity that much better again

Abstract

The  object  of this  voucher  program  can  publicity  be reganded  to de­ velop  or enlarge  batik technique  finishing  on wood  craft.  The more  spesific objects  ot this  program  are as follows:  (1) To develop  design  of batik  mo­ tives  on wood  craft,   (2) To develop  liquit  wax  application   using  electrical canting  (drawing  pen),  (3) To develop  color  composed   variation  using "in­ digosol  ang  naptol",  (4) To despose  the  wax  using  gazoline  stove,  and  (5) Finishing   wooden   batik  after  drawing   proces   ti  preserve   the  color  from fungy using  anti fungy  Profan,  using wood  stain  Mowilex,  and Impra mela­ mine.The methode  of research  is to give  idea of developing  design  form anbatik   motives.   To  make   design   form   and   new   motive   design   to  give variative  choices.   Drawing  proces  using  traditional   canting  and  electrical canting.  Coloring  using painting  technique  and immersing  for indigosol  and immersing   technique   for  "naptol"     Wax  disposing   use  fire  ang  gazoline stove. The last preserved  finishing  use wood  stain  Mowilex,  melamine,  and antifungy  Profan.The  result  of this voucher  program  is  1) To develop  new design;  twoor three dimentional  form. Two dimentional   form is used in some ornaments such as "gunungan  sekaten,  baku! jamu   (herb  vendor),  and mask.  Three  di­ mentionan   form   includes   elephan   model,   bird   model,   horse   model,   cat model, and bridal  model.  2) Motive  design  included  some other varions  mo­ tives  besides    batik  motive  alot of design  choises.  3) Drawing  proses  uses traditional  canting  and electrical  canting  ( drawing  pen) and electrical  cant­ ing, is more  smoth  and  flat because  of the  stable  haet  resolted  more  clean and healty. 4) Coloring  using paiting technique  and immersing  technique  for indigosol   with  composition    10 grams  indigosol   + 250  ml  water  +  1 tea spoon TRO for painting  technique  and  10 gram  indigosol  + 1 liter water + 1 tea spoon TRO  for immersing  rechnique.  Material  adapting  color with com­ position  5 grams  nitrit  + 4 liter water  + 50 ml HCL.  Naptol  color  material compose  of 50 grams  naptol  + 10 gram  costic  + 1 tea spoon  TRO.  Salt for color  generate  compose  of  100 grams  salt  + 3 liter  water  . Disposing  wax with composition   of  1,5 kg soda abu + 20 liter water  boiled  using  gazoline stove.  The  proces  of the  disposing  wax  using  gazoline  stove  is more  clean and  healthy.   The  last  plated  after  drawing/batik    in  order  to  preserve   the2324color using  wood  stain, melamine,  ang using antifungy  Profan  . Understand­ ing the qualities  and its estetic,  there are some meaningful   changes  if we see it before and after the research.Key words: batik technique finishing,   wood craft

Abstract

Sukorejo village, Musuk, area at Boyolali is dry farm field, whereas this field is a breeder center of milking-cow and flesh-cows. They give food to cattle by traditional method, that is the grass is cut by knife and then give directly to the animals. In wet season, this method is no problem, but in dry season this method makes a problem because there are not easy to get much grass  for  cattle.  Consentrate  mill  and  rice  siftings  are  become  food substitution from its food although with high price. It is really, whereas agricultural rubbish (e.g.: stick of tuberous plant, stick of papaw, "lamtoro" stick, etc.) are in stock very much. Truly, this agricultural rubbish can be changed (by choping) become weft cattle. To solving this problem, team PPM FT UNY give a solution by making a manufactured agricultural rubbish machine and application of a silase  complete  weft  cattle  preserve  technology for  farmer  and  breeder group.   The PPM used several methods : presentation, trained, practiced, and made manufactured agricultural rubbish machine. The topic of training is complete weft cattle preserve technology (fermentation method), machine operation, safe and true maintenance of machine. The results of this PPM speciality programm  are : (1) farmer and breeder get 1 unit manufactured agricultural rubbish machine; (2) farmer and  breeder  get   a  skill  about   silase  complete  weft   cattle  preserve technology; and (3) they have could change agricultural rubbish become weft cattle, so it can increase of their grade prosperity
