The aim of the training Ipteks program is to upgrade of cracking painting finishing skill for carpeter so that they aschive product variations to enhances customer interest.The training is executed in Bantul District, trainers are 15 person. The training is execute one weeks continuously, with the instrucors from PT Propan Raya Yogyakarta and FT Yogyakarta State University. Activity method are impel of working and producing with material: (l) finishing teory, (2) demonstration, (3) apppiication of finishing marble and granite nuanced at training place, and (5) application of finishing on their shops.The result are: (1) The trainers mastery in theory and practice of finishing marble and granite, (2) There are able to material for on their own production, (3) tere able to apply for on their own production, and (4) so that they can make product variations that sell in their own show rooms.Key words: marble, granite.furniture, small-middle industry

Community empowerment is vital in the development of society, especially for underdeveloped village and on the border of the country as Temajuk Village. This effort is the empowerment of communities includes not only the individual towards self-reliance. The purpose of this study are 1) to analyze the form of community development activities in accordance with the needs of society (social dynamics) and 2) to identify problems and potential Temajuk Village, sub District Paloh, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan Province. The approach used in this study was qualitative, which focuses on the data or the observed phenomenon, then produces descriptive data. The results showed 1) Temajuk village has a tourist magnet that is potentially on the beautiful beach of "virgin" for about 26 km and the potential of the social and cultural aspects. However Temajuk Village has a variety of constraints such as the limited ability of the HR (Human Resources) in the attitude and the ability to manage, infrastructure and inadequate infrastructure, and limited access to communication networks. ; 2) The community development activities undertaken by Pokdarwis (Group Travel Environmentally Conscious) together with program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) and the community were discussions (FGD), stabilization Pokdarwis, training of seafood processing, training promotion (branding) Village Tourism Temajuk, and preparation of supporting resources. It made momentum heading Temajuk Village Tourism Village because the local government began to focus on the policy direction to the village of Tourism to increase social welfare Temajuk Village.

This activity aims to: (1) Provide advice to the public about theutilization of biogas from manure residue for the benefit of the farmers andranchers; (2) Provide an alternative solution of biogas production technologiesthat do not require farmers and ranchers to construct a plant; (3)Provide information to the public, especially peddlers, on the ergonomic andmobile aspects of portable digester system in supporting new entrepreneurs;(4) Provide trainee for manufacturing and processing skills of portabledigester system to farmers and ranchers, especially in Jatisarono Village.The training was conducted by lecturing, discussion-information,workshops, and limited dissemination. This activity involves 4 students and37 cattle breeders from 40 targeted participants. The involved cattleranchers are from Jatisarono Nanggulan Kulonprogo. Activities also involveLocal Supervisor of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry (PPL) and villageofficials. Implementation activities began on June 22, 2012 and went onuntil the workshop stage.In general, the training was successful and on target. It can be seenfrom the increasing knowledge and understanding of the manufacture ofportable cattle ranchers digester system at each stage of the PPM. It wasclearly visible from their skills to produce the PDS during the workshop.

Jiken village located in the district Reinforcement, Sidoarjo regency, ±10 km from downtown Sidoarjo. Jiken village is a village of SMEs engaged inthe activities of Household Appliance Craftsmen, Artisans Batik, EmbroideryCraftsmen, Artisans Bags and Aquaculture in ponds. The rest of the villagersJiken many craftsmen who work as children's toys. In this dedication programraised issues 2 Partners, which Partner 1 and Partner 2, both the partners workas artisans craft toys. Crafts Toys effort is capable of producing 48 scores for 2weeks, scores of 3.4 per day. Development of a toy Kids Crafts Village JikenTulanagan Kab. Sidoarjo in increasing production capacity through science andtechnology program for Community (IbM) Partner 1 and Partner 2 is going welland according to plan. This program was aimed at improving the independence and entrepreneurial productivity of Miftahunnajah Pesantren Al-Mumtaz Orphanage Students with creativity and innovation programs of pastry products. This training is also expected to (1) developing of the economy of the wider community by increasing the selling value of pastry products and their storage power;(2) increasing the variation of processed pastry and creating good and attractive packaging so that the students have good skill in pastry industry; and (3) improving high entrepreneurship motivation of the students. There are several obstacles faced by the students including the limitationsof capital for the development of variations of processed pastry, technological limitations in the technique of product, especially in terms of taste, processed variations and packaging, difficulties in diversifying the business, especially in the creativity and innovation of pastry products, and etc. This program provides training to students using Problem Based Learning method, by analyzing the problems faced to find alternative solutions. The methods implemented in this program include socialization, training related to the production and marketing. The result shows that some trainings and mentoring need to be done in order to improve the income of Pondok Pesantren Al Mumtaz

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan bekal pengetahuan kemampuan, keterampilan, dan kewirausahadenga praktek langsung kepada mahasiswa dalam mempersiapkan diri menjadi wirausahawan baru dalam bud ida jamur merang dan pembuatan kompos dari limbah mediajamur merang dengan teknik vermicomposting.Program KAM jamur merang dan kompos ini diikuti oleh 10 mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Biologi bawah tim pelaksana yang melibatkan unsur-unsur dosen, praktisi (pengusaha jamur merang), instansi terk (Klinik Konsultasi Bisnis, Departemen Koperasi, Pengusaha Kecil dan Menengah DIY) dan pembantu pelaksa (Teknisi kompos dan teknisi jamur merang) selama kurun waktu 4 bulan (September - Desember 1999).Hasil kegiatan ini. menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa sangat antusias dalam mengikuti dan melaksanak program (rata-rata hadir 90%) dan yang akan melanjutkan usaha jamur merang dan kompos secara kelompok adaorang (80%). Produksi yang diperoleh dalam budidaya jamur me rang 60 kg.kumbunglperiode ( 1 bulan) deng harga jual Rp. 5000/kg. Sedangkan untuk pembuatan kompos dengan teknik vermicomposting diperoleh 375Adapun cacing belum dipanen karena siklusnya 6 bulan. Dalam waktu ini I kg cacing minimal menjadi 10 dengan harga jual Rp. 250.000/kg dan kornpos sebanyak 750 kg dalam 2 kali pengambilan dengan harga ji IOOO/kg

Tujuan dari penyelenggaraan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk: (1) Meningkatkan kemampua para pengelola SMK dalam merencanakan program pemasaran dan penelusuran para tamatannya; (2) Meningkatakan kemampua para pengelola SMK dalam mengorganisasikan,menggerakkan dan mengarahkan segal a potensi yang dimilikinya untu melaksanakan kegiatan pemasaran dan penelusuran tamatannya; dan (3) meningkatkan kemampuan para pengelola SM dalam mengembangkan administrasi pendukung pelaksanaan program pemasaran dan penelusuran tamatannya.Adapun langkah-langkah dalam rangka pemecahan masalah yang telah dirumuskan adalah: (1) Tahap Persiapan, yakr melakukan koordinasi dengan Kepala Bidang Dikmenjur, Kanwil Depdikbut Propinsi DIY; (2) Tahap Presentasi, yakr penyelenggaraan pelatihan dengan ceramah dan diskusi secara klasikal; (3) Tahap Implementasi; yaitu pemberian tuga kepada peserta pelatihan untuk menyusun program, struktur organisasi dan perangkat teknis administrasi pendukung untu melaksanakan proram pemasaran dan penelusuran tamatannya di masing-masingSMK yang dikelolanya; dan (4) Tahap Evaluas yaitu pelaksanaan penilaian terhadap hasil pengerjaan tugas yang dilakukan oleh Tim PPM bersama dengan Kepala Bidan Dikrnenjur dan para pengawas SMK.Dengan telah selesainya pelaksanaan kegiatan Pelatihan Manajemen Pemasaran dan Penelusuran Tamatan SMK, mak para pengelola BKK di SMK telah dapat meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam : (1) Menyusun struktur organisasi, deskrips tugas, program kerja kegiatan pemasaran dan penelusuran tamatan pada masing-masing SMK yang dikelolanya; dan ( menentukan teknis atau mekanisme pelaksanaan kegiatan pemasaran dan penelusuran tamatan yang disesuaikan denga kondisi dan potensi sumber daya yang dimiliki oleh masing-rnasing SMK. Sementara itu, pelaksanaan kegiatan PPM ini daps terselenggara dengan lancar karena adanya kerjasama dan dukungan dari Kabid Dikmenjur dan para pengawas SMK, partisipas aktif dari para peserta pelatihan serta adanya komitmen yang tinggi dari para pengeloJa BKK di SMK untuk meningkatka kualitas pelaksanaan kegiatan pemasaran dan penelusuran tamatannya secara sungguh-sungguh.

The partner industry in this Vucer program is Q-Sal Accessories. The purpose is to overcome the problem faced by the partner industry, which are: 1) get the effective and efficient print tool construction of salak’s pelt craft motive, 2) get the show action grade information of salak’s pelt craft motive of vucer result, 3) improve the quality and productivity of the souvenir that produced by Q-Sal Accessories industry. The methods used to handle this problem are: a) field survey to observe the process of souvenir production in Q-Sal Accessories in Salak Pondoh Agro Wisata area, Kenteng, Wonokerto, Turi, Sleman, Yogyakarta, b) need analysis and concept making, c) design development, d) production process of print tool of salak’s pelt souvenir craft motive, e) try out of print tool of salak’s pelt souvenir craft motive in the partner industry. Result obtained from this programs are: a) the creation of the model of print tool of salak’s pelt souvenir craft motive, b) the obtained of the show action grade information of salaks’ pelt craft motive. Previously, scissors achieved 3-4 pieces of salak’s pelt motive, while print tool of salak’s pelt souvenir craft motive attained 12-15 pieces in every minute, c) the quality improvement of salak’s pelt souvenir, that are more precise, smoother, and same piece portion. The productivity increase 30% than it was, since the product output is also determined by the skill of the workers
