The background of the research is the effort of Semarang state Govermentto overcome the poverty and unemployment citizen in Semarang, named â€œGerduKempling, the acronym of Gerakan Terpadu bidang Kesehatan, Ekonomi,Pendidikan, Infrastruktur dan Lingkungan. The focus of this research is theperformance of operators Gerdu Kempling programme, especially theimplementation programme in Bulu Lor and Pekunden District, the threat andpromoter of the programme and how to increase the performance of implementorsprogramme. The method of the research and analysing data used qualitativeresearch with intensify interview to many respondens of distinguish status in theimplementation programme and also collect the secondary data of expertâ€™scomments form some medias in Semarang.The result of collecting datas from some interviews and secondary datasshows according by the process, the performance of operators has fulfill GerduKemplingâ€™s schedule programme. But on the other side, the outcome of operatorsprogramme are not yet reach Gerdu Kemplingâ€™s aim, that is to change thebehavior and mental attitude of citizen target. It caused of lack guidance,less ofsocialization programme and limited of fund. Some respondens suggested toincrease the fund programme, and also to expand stakeholders participation.Last, the conclution of the research are first, the performance of operators GerduKemplingâ€™s programme the implementation programme in Bulu Lor and Pekunden District bythe process, they has fulfill Gerdu Kemplingâ€™s schedule programme. But the outcome ofoperatorâ€™s performance programme are not yet reach Gerdu Kemplingâ€™s aim, that is tochange the behavior and mental attitude of citizen target. Secondly, the threat of theprogramme are lack guidance,less of socialization programme and limited of fund. Thesuggestion to promoter of the programme are increase the fund programme, and also toexpand stakeholders participation.

The tourism industry is often seen as the answer to deal with economic problems. Economic hardship and unequal economic development will be considered resolved by the tourism industry. However, it should be realized that these activities also have a negative impact, one of which is environmental. Form the aspect of tourism activities and environmental sustainability is ecotourism. Wildlife Areas Mangkang Semarang City is a place that combines the concept of wildlife conservation education and the concept of tourism.This study used a qualitative descriptive method. The locus of this research in the area of Semarang Mangkang Wildlife Areas and Focus on Strategic Development of Ecotourism Wildlife Areas Semarang. The methods used to collect the data, namely: Documentation, Observation, Interview. Sources of data in this study using primary data and secondary data. Efforts to address the problem and the purpose of the study used the theory of strategic management using SWOT analysis tool, as well as the litmus test.Preformance of this research there were 5 observed phenomena, namely: Conditions Mangkang Wildlife Areas, Strategic Environmental, supporting factors and obstacles, Strategic Issues and Formulating Strategic Programs. The results of this study indicate that the Development Strategy of the Government of Semarang city is going well, but there are still some shortcomings such as Human Resources as a constraint, while the layout of the park is very strategic Wildlife Mangkang is one factor driving.

A workload that increasing within company is complex problem, especially there on the job service. Company productivity of work describe an overview of the performance of a state how the company manages the resources.The Purpose of this research is to found how the productivity of work on PT. TASPEN (persero) Main Branch Office Semarang as seen from the quantity of work, quality of work and the factors that affect productivity of work.Research method used is descriptive qualitative type, and data used was primary data an obtained from interviews with informants from Kabid Persum PT. TASPEN (persero) Main Branch Office Semarang then Kasie Personalia PT. TASPEN (persero) Main Branch Office Semarang, and secondary data was obtained from literature study, archival sources, personal dan official documents. Techniques collecting data an obtained from interviews, observation, literature study and documentation. Which of data an obtained then analyzed and interpreted to explain the data collected.Research result showed that productivity of work on PT. TASPEN (persero) Main Branch Office Semarang is pretty good with productivity factors are sufficient to support the sustainability of the company, where each month is always increase the participants who submitted claim in PT. TASPEN (persero) Main Branch Office Semarang.

The test vehicle is a vehicle assigned to address safety issues in the field of public transport safety concerns for users at both the regional and national level. This study aims to identify and menganilisis quality of services performed by the Department of Transportation, Communication and Information Tegal regency. Type used is descriptive qualitative, by using reference measurements on basis of the satisfaction indext KEP MENPAN No.63/7/2003 which consists of 14 elements "relevan", "valid" and "reliable". The result of the satisfaction index calculation for obtaning a yield of 74,08 or in the good category (B). To improve the quality of care testing of motor vehicles so much better, employee testing vehicles in Tegal regency should pay attention to the service user satisfaction by adding facilities and infrastructure, as well as providing strict sanctions or penalties for employees who absent during working hours or working days

Pertumbuhan kepemilikan kendaraan yang pesat dalam tahun-tahun terakhir ini memberikan tekanan yang cukup berat pada jaringan jalan dan alat pengatur lalu lintas. Peningkatan jumlah kendaraan bermotor mengakibatkan muncunyal beberapa dampak, salah satunya adalah peningkatan angka pelanggaran di jalan raya. Fenomena ini terjadi karena peningkatan jumlah sepeda motor tidak diiringi dengan peningkatan kesadaran dari masyarakat. Pelanggaran lalu lintas kian memprihatinkan, sehingga mengakibatkan peningkatan kecelakaan lalu lintas dengan korban meninggal ataupun luka-luka yang tidak sedikit. Oleh karena itu, pemerintah mengeluarkan Undang-Undang No. 22 tahun 2009 tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan. Adapun tujuan dan sasarannya adalah untuk membina dan menyelenggarakan Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan yang aman, selamat, tertib, dan lancar.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi UU No. 22 tahun 2009 tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan, khususnya pelaksanaan sosialisasi di kalangan siswa SMA Negeri 4 Magelang. Kemudian tujuan kedua adalah komunikasi dan sikap yang mempengaruhi implementasi UU ini. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dengan wawancara mendalam kepada narasumber, serta kuesioner sebagai pelengkap. Pemilihan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik acak (random sampling).Berdasarkan hasil penelitia dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa keberhasilan implementasi UU No. 22 tahun 2009 tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan, khususnya sosialisasi di kalangan siswa SMA Negeri 4 Magelang belum sesuai dengan ketentuan yang ditetapkan. Saran untuk meminimalisir penyimpangan adalah hendaknya pemahaman petugas terhadap isi UU No. 22 tahun 2009 dan aturan pelaksanaannya perlu ditingkatkan, sehingga petugas memiliki dasar yang kuat dalam mengambil suatu keputusan, dan masyarakat memperoleh informasi yang memadai.

A family called Kadarzi when has behaved good nutrition is characterized by weighing out the body weight regularly, giving only breast feeding (ASI) to infants frombirth until the age of six months (exclusive ASI), eat variegated, use iodized salt, and drink nutrition supplements as recommended. Decision of the Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia Number: 747/Menkes/SK/VI/2007 about Operational Guidelines of Family Nutrition Conscious on Alert Village state that the government's target is 80% of families applying Kadarzi behavior. Achievement of Kadarzi in Semarang Regency only reached 29,6% in 2011. Kadarzi implementation from public attitude still very lacking. The main obstacle of Kadarzi implementation is the low public awareness in the exclusive breast feeding. If one of the indicators in the Kadarzi are not met, then a family can not be called as Family Nutrition Conscious. Low public awareness in the exclusive breast feeding caused breastfeeding mothers who still working. The government should be can give shuttle between services of breast feeding for working mother who had baby aged 0-6 months, so exclusive breastfeeding can be met, which Kadarzi also will be achieved later.

Situs Patiayam, is a new tourism destination in Kabupaten Kudus, that having lots of potential to be developed. But, the condition is not comparable yet, with the potencies. The questions are; what internal and external factors, supporting and inhibiting factors, success factors, and how regional Government Kabupaten Kudus to develop the potencies of Situs Patiayam. This research aims to identify internal and external factors, supporting and inhibiting factors, success factors, and analyze how Regional Government Kabupaten Kudus, to develop the potencies of Situs Patiayam. Using theory of strategic management, this research using SWOT Analysis to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, in strategic circle. This research is a qualitative descriptive type of research. Strategic management is important to do, and needed by departement to plan the program. The result shows that there are eight issues, in the process to developing Situs Patiayam. After using Litmus test measurement to evaluate the strategic issues, the two most strategic issues can be found. It is increasing cooperation with investors, also improving quality and variation of facilities in this tourism destination.

This study aims to describe and analyze the performance of the Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Semarang, to know the problems that become an obstacle to the performance of the organization and to find out how to overcome the performance bottleneck. This study used qualitative research methods. Performance of Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Semarang not shown optimal results. It can be seen from the mission has not been accomplished, including the unavailability of professional human resources as needed, inadequate infrastructure and the absence of a partnership with other parties. For that, it needs to be revisited workload of each employee so that vision and mission can be implemented optimally.

Lack of motivation and discipline in the Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Semarang has prompted the author to undertake the study, entitled Study of Motivation and Discipline Employees at the Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Semarang.This study aims to describe and analyze the motivation and discipline in the Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Semarang. The data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires to a sample population of 64 people and a number of 32 employees in the Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Semarang. Type of research is descriptive research. The method of data analysis in this study using qualitative data analysis methods using frequency distribution table to find out the average results.The analysis showed that motivation and discipline in the Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Kota Semarang quite good, with a summary score of 2.88 and the motivation variable summary score variable discipline of 3.09.Recommendations from this study were (i) giving compliments to employees who successfully perform the job well, (ii) in accordance with tupoksi staffing, educational background, and experience of employees, (iii) enhance the relationship between subordinates with leadership, (iv ) the need for supervision and sanctions attached to a firm such as payroll deductions for employees who arrive late, (v) conducted similar research outside variables motivation and discipline.

Trash problem becomes quite serious problems that faced by government of Semarang city. The volume of trash grows every year. The Law No. 18 Year 2008 about Trash Management is a reference for government of Semarang city to change the way of trash management from get-haul waste into friendly environmental trash management by using the principle of the 3Rs (reduce, recycle, dan reuse).The purpose of this study is not only to describe and to analyze the implementation of integrated trash management in Semarang city but also to identify the inhibiting factors that occur in integrated trash management of Semarang city.To answer the problem and the purpose of this research, the writer uses descriptive qualitative approach by using management theory that focuses on the function of implementation of the plan, staffing, and coordination.The research shows that the inhibitor in the integrated trash management in Semarang city due to inadequate government budget, the difficulties in marketing the products of processed junk, poor coordination, and low public awareness in trash management.To improve the integrated trash management in Semarang city, the advices that can be given by writer to the Department of Hygiene and Gardening of Semarang city are to cooperate with the agencies that concerned in the problems of trash, to improve the coordination systems, to enforce regulations strictly, and to raise awareness continually in order to be wise in trash management.
