Abstract

DEVELOPMENT OF INTERACTIVE E-MODULE ON COLLIGATIVE PROPERTIES OF SOLUTIONS USING SIGILAbstractThe role of technology in education is very important in helping to achieve learning goals, especially during a pandemic like now. This research aims to develop teaching materials in the form of an interactive electronic module or e-Module on the colligative properties of solutions using Sigil. The output of Sigil's products has an ePub format that is easily accessible both offline and online. This teaching material contains videos and animations to help visualize the concept. The research method used Research and Development by following the Plomp model. e-Module has been validated by 2 material experts and 2 media experts, and trials of users to teachers and students. The results showed that the interactive e-Module has a very valid value of 4 assessment substances in the form of material substance, learning design, display (visual communication) and software utilization with a percentage of scores of 96.15%, 96.88%, 93.75%, and 95.19% respectively. The test results of user response each obtained a score of 96.67% with a very interesting category.AbstrakPeranan teknologi dalam pendidikan sangat penting dalam membantu tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran, terlebih pada masa pandemi seperti sekarang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar dalam bentuk modul elektronik atau e-Module yang bersifat interaktif pada materi sifat koligatif larutan menggunakan Sigil. Luaran dari produk Sigil memiliki format ePub yang mudah diakses secara offline maupun online. Bahan ajar ini dilengkapi dengan video dan animasi untuk membantu memvisualisasi konsep. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan mengikuti model Plomp. e-Module yang dikembangkan telah divalidasi oleh 2 ahli materi dan 2 ahli media, serta uji coba terhadap pengguna, yaitu guru dan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-Module interaktif yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria sangat valid dari 4 substansi penilaian yaitu substansi materi, desain pembelajaran, tampilan (komunikasi visual) dan pemanfaatan software dengan persentase skor berturut-turut sebesar 96,15%, 96,88%, 93,75%, dan 95,19%. Hasil uji respon pengguna masing-masing diperoleh skor 96,67% dengan kategori sangat menarik.

Abstract

THE DEVELOPMENT OF PHYSICS LEARNING RESEARCH WITH STEM APPROACH IN INDONESIA: A CONTENT ANALYSISAbstractThis study aims to provide an overview of physics learning research with the STEM approach in Indonesia. This study used a thematic content analysis method which aims to determine the depth of the study using a certain matrix so that a conclusion can be presented based on similarities and differences. This study analyzed SINTA indexed scientific articles published from 2016-2020. The results of the search were obtained as many as 51 scientific articles according to the scope of the research. Research that is mostly done is experiments. The most widely used number of samples was 11-30 and the type of sample that was most studied was students in class XI in Senior High School. The most widely used data collection instrument is the test instrument. The most popular physics material is temperature and heat material, while the most measured research variable is students' understanding of concepts. The product that is mostly developed in learning with the STEM approach is students’ worksheets, while the learning model that is most often integrated with the STEM approach is Project-Based Learning (PjBL). In the future, research should examine the effects of learning physics using the STEM approach on variables that are still rarely studied, such as students' representational abilities. In addition, it is necessary to apply a STEM learning approach to other materials that are still rarely used. Thus, it can be concluded that this study has provided preliminary information for further research and policy determination on the STEM approach in physics learning.AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan tinjauan umum terkait penelitian pembelajaran fisika dengan pendekatan STEM di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode thematic content analysis yang bertujuan untuk menentukan kedalaman penelitian dengan menggunakan matriks tertentu sehingga dapat disajikan suatu kesimpulan berdasarkan kesamaan dan perbedaan. Penelitian ini menganalisis artikel ilmiah terindeks SINTA yang dipublikasikan dari 2016-2020. Hasil dari pencarian diperoleh sebanyak 51 artikel ilmiah yang sesuai dengan lingkup penelitian. Penelitian yang banyak dilakukan adalah penelitian eksperimen. Jumlah sampel yang paling banyak digunakan adalah sebanyak 11-30 dan jenis sampel yang paling banyak diteliti adalah peserta didik di kelas XI SMA/MA. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang paling banyak digunakan adalah instrumen tes. Materi fisika yang paling diminati adalah materi Suhu dan Kalor, sedangkan variabel penelitian yang paling banyak diukur adalah pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Produk yang paling banyak dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran dengan pendekatan STEM adalah LKPD, sementara model pembelajaran yang paling sering diintegrasikan dengan pendekatan STEM adalah Project Based Learning (PjBL). Ke depannya penelitian sebaiknya mengkaji efek pembelajaran fisika dengan menggunakan pendekatan STEM terhadap variabel yang masih jarang diteliti, seperti kemampuan representasi peserta didik. Selain itu, perlu diterapkan pendekatan pembelajaran STEM pada materi lain yang masih jarang digunakan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini telah memberikan informasi awal untuk penelitian dan penentuan kebijakan lebih lanjut tentang pendekatan STEM dalam pembelajaran fisika.

Abstract

ANALISIS SIKAP SISWA TERHADAP STEM BERDASARKAN GENDER DAN TINGKATAN KELAS: STUDI KOMPARASI INDONESIA DAN THAILANDAbstractAttitude is a tendency to behave and react to a given stimulus. The smoothness of STEM learning involves students, one of which is students' attitude towards STEM. Students at the junior high school level are a transitional period from children to adolescents who are not yet considered adulthood. Besides that, there is behavior stereotypical in male and female students during learning. This research was conducted to analyze students' attitudes towards Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) in Indonesia and Thailand in terms of grade level and gender. The research method used is descriptive quantitative using a survey. This study used the STEM questionnaire distributed to 139 students in Thailand and 90 students in Indonesia. Data were collected using a questionnaire about students' attitudes towards STEM and interview protocols for science teachers. Analysis of student attitudes, which focused on self-confidence, enjoyment, interest, and anxiety, showed that these attitudes were more dominant among students at the highest grade level in both countries. However, there is no significant difference between the attitudes of male and female students in Indonesia and Thailand; both are the same in responding to STEM learning.AbstrakSikap merupakan kecenderungan berperilaku dan reaksi terhadap stimulus yang diberikan. Kelancaran pembelajaran STEM yang melibatkan siswa, salah satunya adalah sikap siswa terhadap STEM. Siswa pada jenjang sekolah menengah pertama merupakan masa peralihan dari anak-anak menuju remaja yang belum dikatakan masa dewasa, selain itu adanya perilaku stereotype pada siswa laki-laki dan perempuan pada saat pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis sikap siswa terhadap Sains, Teknologi, Rekayasa, dan Matematika (STEM) di Indonesia dan Thailand ditinjau dari tingkat kelas dan jenis kelamin. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan survei berupa kuesioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner STEM yang dibagikan kepada 139 siswa di Thailand dan 90 siswa di Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner tentang sikap siswa terhadap STEM dan protokol wawancara untuk guru IPA. Analisis sikap siswa yang berfokus pada kepercayaan diri, kesenangan, minat, dan kecemasan, menunjukkan bahwa sikap tersebut lebih dominan di antara siswa pada tingkat kelas tertinggi di kedua negara. Namun tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara sikap siswa laki-laki dan perempuan di Indonesia dan Thailand, keduanya sama dalam merespon pembelajaran STEM.

Abstract

This research was conducted because of the difficulties of students in learning the material on the nervous system. This research aims to produce Veroes Card Game learning media to train students' reasoning skills. This research is a mix method research carried out in two stages, namely the media preparation stage and the media feasibility test stage. The subjects used in the feasibility test of the media were public and islamic high school teachers in Sukoharjo regency and students majoring in biology and science education. The data collection technique is done by the feasibility test of the media using a questionnaire instrument. Data analysis of the feasibility test results were analyzed by Analysis of the Rasch Model using Winstep application. From the results of data analysis the instrument item reliability value obtained was 0.92, the respondent's reliability value was 0.89 and the Cronbach Alpha value was 0.93 so that it could be stated in very good category. The probability value of instrument items has a range of values above 5% (0.05) with three instrument items detected contain bias. Based on the research results, it can be stated that the Card Game Veroes media has met the criteria as a suitable learning medium to use in the learning process on the nervous system material.PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA CARD GAME VEROES (VERTEBRATES NEURO SYSTEM) UNTUK MELATIH REASONING SKILLS SISWA SMA PADA MATERI SISTEM SARAFAbstrakPenelitian ini dilaksanakan karena adanya kesulitan siswa dalam mempelajari materi sistem saraf. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran Card Game Veroes untuk melatih reasoning skills siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian mix method yang dilaksanakan dengan dua tahap, yaitu tahap penyusunan media dan tahap uji kelayakan media. Subjek yang digunakan dalam uji kelayakan media adalah Guru SMA/MA wilayah Kabupaten Sukoharjo dan mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan biologi dan IPA. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan uji kelayakan terhadap media menggunakan instrumen angket. Analisis data hasil uji kelayakan dianalisis menggunakan Analisis Model Rasch dengan aplikasi Winstep. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai reliabilitas item instrumen sebesar 0,92, nilai realibilitas responden sebesar 0,89 dan nilai Alpha cronbach sebesar 0,93 sehingga dapat dinyatakan dalam kategori sangat bagus. Nilai probabilitas item instrumen memiliki kisaran nilai diatas 5% (0,05) dengan tiga item instrumen yang terdeteksi mengandung bias.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat dinyatakan media Card Game Veroes telah memenuhi kriteria sebagai media pembelajaran yang layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran pada materi sistem saraf.How To Cite: Nugroho,, J., Ramli, M. Abstract

Misconceptions that occur can vary between male and female students. The purpose of this study was to analyze gender difference in misconceptions in linear momentum. The diagnostic- descriptive research method was used in this study. A total of 70 (35 males and 35 females) first-year Senior High School students in the La-Nkwantanan Municipality were used for this study. Identification of misconceptions was conducted using the Two-tier multiple-choice diagnostic test instrument that was equipped with the Certainty of the Response Index method. The study showed both males' level of understanding and misconception (56.88%; 42.88%) and females (28.51%; 50.24%), respectively. An independent sample t-test revealed that male’s students understanding of concept was statistically more than females and misconception was found not be statistically significantly different. The two-tier multiple-choice instrument could be used as an alternative instrument to identify misconceptions among students. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for Physics educators to identify and resolve students' misconceptions.

Abstract

The Computerized Two Tier Multiple Choice (CTTMC) instrument has been created to mesure the bility of student in Integrated Science learning. This research was conducted to produce empirical evidence regarding the validity of the TTMC instrument using the Rasch Model analysis thorugh the Winstep program. A total of 283 junior high school students in the city of Surakarta were the research subjects. This assessment instrument consists of 20 questions. Statistical analysis was performed using the Rasch model. The results of the analysis show that in general, this assessment instrument can explain 40.7% of the variance that appears in each group of respondents. As many as 85% of the questions were declared fit and 15% of the questions still needed to be improved. Of the 283 participants, 13,4% had an ability misfit, 13,8% were included in the upper outlier, and 72,8% of the participants had an infit ability. Abstract

STEM knowledge and skills are needed by students in order to survive in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. This study aims to determine the level of readiness of public high schools in Bogor City in implementing STEM education. Descriptive research with survey method with stratified sample selection. The number of samples is three principals, nine science teachers, and 75 students. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire assessing readiness from aspects of the curriculum, supporting extracurriculars, admission selection, and STEM supporting facilities as well as students' interest in STEM. Data analysis uses a modified readiness score according to Aydin & Tascy (2005). The findings of the study show that public high schools in the city of Bogor are ready to implement STEM education. Readiness to apply STEM education is shown by the Principal. Students also showed readiness to apply STEM education, but needed a little improvement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesiapan sekolah SMA Negeri di Kota Bogor dalam menerapkan pendidikan STEM. Penelitian deskriptif dengan metode survei dengan pemilihan sampel secara stratafikasi.  Jumlah sampel adalah tiga orang kepala sekolah, sembilan orang guru Sains, dan 75 orang peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket menilai kesiapan dari aspek kurikulum, ekstrakuler penunjang, seleksi masuk, dan fasilitas penunjang STEM serta minat peserta didik terhadap STEM.  Analisis data menggunakan skor kesiapan menurut Aydin & Tascy (2005) yang telah dimodifikasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukan SMA Negeri di Kota Bogor siap menerapkan pendidikan STEM. Kesiapan penerapan pendidikan STEM ditunjukkan oleh Kepala Sekolah.  Peserta didik pun menunjukkan kesiapan penerapan pendidikan STEM, namun perlu sedikit peningkatan.  Adapun dari guru, menunjukkan ketidaksiapan dan perlu peningkatan.How To Cite: Yanti, H., Amalia, U., Nurlela, A. Abstract

SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW PADA KREATIVITAS BIDANG PEMBELAJARAN SAINS: DOMAIN, TREND PENELITIAN, DAN ANALISISNYAAbstractCreativity is an important aspect to be developed in students and becomes one of the main skills needed in the world of work. This study aims to review the results of research on creativity in the field of science education which includes aspects of domains, research trends, and methods. Systematic Literature Review (SLR) is carried out carefully and strictly on articles sourced from international reputable databases. The selection results obtained 22 articles published from 2010 to 2020. The perspective of creativity research lies in the 4Ps (Person, Process, Product, and Press) as a single component. The trend of creativity research is mostly related to multi-representation, concept understanding, evaluation, and creative learning design. In addition, research trends are explored to improve the creative processes and products of junior high and high school students, as well as several course institutions and elementary schools. While the most creative research methods use quasi-experimental and mixed methods. Research with a quasi-experimental design allows the measurement process before and after treatment. Researchers can find out whether the treatment has an effect on creativity in terms of the results of statistical tests.AbstrakKreativitas merupakan aspek penting untuk dikembangkan pada siswa dan menjadi salah satu keterampilan utama yang dibutuhkan di dunia kerja. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mereview hasil penelitian-penelitian tentang kreativitas bidang pendidikan sains yang meliputi aspek domain, trend penelitian, dan analisisnya. SLR dilakukan pada artikel-artikel yang bersumber dari database bereputasi internasional. Hasil seleksi diperoleh 22 artikel yang diterbitkan dalam rentang 2010 sampai 2020. Sudut pandang penelitian kreativitas terletak pada 4P (Person, Process, Product, dan Press) sebagai sebuah komponen satu kesatuan. Tren penelitian kreativitas paling banyak berkaitan dengan multirepresentasi, pemahaman konsep, evaluasi, dan desain pembelajaran kreativitas. Selain itu, trend penelitian melakukan eksplorasi untuk meningkatkan proses dan produk kreativitas siswa sekolah menengah pertama dan sekolah menengah atas, juga beberapa lembaga kursus dan sekolah dasar. Sedangkan teknik analisis data  penelitian kreativitas paling banyak menggunakan quasi eksperimen dan metode campuran. Abstract

The construct2 software is an HTML5 based Game Builder Tool. Construct2 can be used in the development of application-based learning media such as a virtual laboratory (VLab). This study aims to determine the effectiveness of virtual laboratory media assisted by construct software2. This type of research is research and development (R&D). The data analysis method is in the form of media validation data based on experts, the results of the virtual laboratory media feasibility test and the results of the learning media effectiveness test. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development) which is accommodated from Sugiyono (2008) which was developed according to the conditions and situations. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development) which is accommodated from Sugiyono (2008) which was developed according to the conditions and situations. The stages of development according to Sugiyono are: (1) Identification of potential and problems, (2) Data collection, (3) Product design, (4) Design validation, (5) Design revision, (6) Product testing, (7) Revision product. , (8) Use trial, (9) Product revision, and (10) Mass production. The results of the research are application-based virtual laboratory applications that can be programmed using Construct2 or HTML5 software. The results of the validity test according to experts ranged from 97%, while the exact location was 87%. The implications of the research are expected to contribute to researchers, practitioners, to be able to optimize constructions in creating 3-dimensional virtual laboratory media.

Abstract

The development of a chemoentrepreneurship (CEP) oriented Colloidal Chemistry E-Module  assisted by 3D Page Flip Professional (3D PFP) is important to with produce students teaching material products that are related to their daily life environment and can stimulate students to create economically valuable and independent products. . To produce a very valid E-Module product, the user response is very good and it looks very attractive, research and development (R&D) is carried out with a 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate). The results of the validity of material and media experts on the developed E-Module are 95.54% and 95.5%, respectively, with a very valid category. The results of the limited test, namely a one-on-one test on 3 students, obtained information that the E-Module needed to be revised. While the user test results from 3 chemistry teachers obtained an average questionnaire score of 94% with very good criteria. Then the results of a limited test of 30 students obtained an average score of 88% with very interesting criteria. The resulting CEP-oriented E-Module products assisted by 3D PFP are expected to increase students' entrepreneurial interest.PENGEMBANGAN E-MODUL KIMIA KOLOID BERORIENTASI CHEMOENTREPRENURSHIP (CEP) BERBANTUAN 3D PAGE FLIP PROFESSIONAL AbstrakPengembangan E-Modul Kimia Koloid berorientasi chemoentrepreneurship (CEP) berbantuan 3D Page Flip Professional (3D PFP) penting dilakukan untuk menghasilkan peserta didik produk bahan ajar yang berhubungan dengan lingkungan kehidupan sehari-hari dan dapat menstimulus peserta didik untuk membuat produk bernilai secara ekonomis dan mandiri.  Untuk menghasilkan produk E-Modul yang sangat valid, respon pengguna sangat baik dan tampilannya sangat menarik dilakukan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model   4-D (Define, Design, Develop dan Disseminate). Hasil validitas ahli materi dan media terhadap E-Modul yang dikembangkan berturut-turut adalah 95,54% dan 95,5% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji terbatas yaitu uji satu-satu terhadap 3 orang peserta didik diperoleh informasi bahwa E-Modul perlu direvisi. Sedangkan hasil uji pengguna dari 3 orang guru kimia diperoleh skor rata-rata angket sebesar 94% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Kemudian hasil uji terbatas terhadap 30 orang peserta didik diperoleh skor rata-rata angket sebesar 88% dengan kriteria sangat menarik. Produk E-Modul berorentasi CEP berbantuan 3D PFP yang dihasilkan diharapkan  dapat meningkatkan minat kewirausahaan peserta didik.How To Cite: Herdini, Erna, M., Indah, N.A. (2022).
