Abstract

The number of female workers in the current era of globalization who participate in the world of work, it can lead to work stress with the demands of various roles and conflicts that might occur in the work environment. This study aims to determine the influence of organizational climate, role conflict and time management of female workers. The sample in this study were female workers with 212 respondents located in the Cimanggis sub-district of Depok. The sampling technique used in this study is non-probability sampling. The data analysis used in this study is multiple regression analysis at the 0.05 significance level. The results showed that there was a significant influence on organizational climate, role conflict and time management on work stress. The results of the minor hypothesis test indicate that reward, warmth, standards, intra-role conflict, inter-role conflict, goal setting and prioritization and preference for the organization have a significant influence on job involvement.

Abstract

AbstractThis research conducted to determine wether there is an influence of employee job satisfacation in terms of the transactional leadership style at UD. X in Medan. The hypotheses in this study is proposed that there is a positive influence in job satisfacation in terms of the transactional leadership style. On these study we used 105 people by using the saturated sample method. This research used quantitative research where the data collection uses a questionnaire. The assumptions test consisted of a normality test and a linearity test. The data analysis method uses the product moment correlation technique with the help of SPSS statistics 25 for Windows. The result showed that there was a significant influence between employee job satisfacation with transactional leadership style (Pearson Correlation 0.000, sig 0.000 < P= 0.05). The result of this study indicated that the contribution made by the transactional leadership style to job satisfaction is 81 percent. From the result of this study it can be concluded that research hyphothesis has a positive influence between transactional leadership style and job satisfaction. Keywords: Job Satisfaction, Transactional Leadership Style, Employees. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh kepuasan kerja karyawan ditinjau dari gaya kepemimpinan transaksional pada UD. X di Medan. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh positif kepuasan kerja yang ditinjau dari gaya kepemimpinan transaksional. Subjek yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 105 orang dengan menggunakan metode sampel jenuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dimana pengumpulan datanya menggunakan kuesioner. Uji asumsi yang dilakukan terdiri dari uji normalitas dan uji linearitas. Metode analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi Product Moment dengan bantuan SPSS Statistic 25 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara kepuasan kerja karyawan dengan gaya kepemimpinan transaksional (Pearson Correlation 0.9000, Sig 0.000 < p = 0.05). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sumbangan yang diberikan gaya kepemimpinan transaksional terhadap kepuasan kerja adalah sebesar 81 persen. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa hipotesis penelitian ini ada pengaruh positif antara gaya kepemimpinan transaksional dan kepuasan kerja. Kata Kunci: Kepuasan Kerja, Gaya Kepemimpinan Transaksional, Karyawan.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of the big five personality, social support, collectivism-individualism, and anonymity on expressing anger on social networking sites (SNS). This research used quantitative with multiple regression analysis methods. The samples in this study were 210 respondents who posted anger content on social networking sites, aged at least more than 18 years old. Obtained by non-probability sampling technique. In this study, researcher adapted and collected the data with four questionnaires; the anger-out scale is from STAXI measuring instrument, Big Five Inventory (BFI), Interpersonal Support Evaluation List, and collectivism-individualism. To test the validity of the instrument, researcher was using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The results showed there was a significant difference from the type of big five, social, collectivism-individualism and anonymity to expressing anger on social networking sites by 18.6.

Abstract

AbstractThis study is examined relationship between hope and marriage readiness on emerging adult who is engaged in Jakarta. The research method uses a quantitative approach. Subjects were 124 individuals aged 19-29 years who had become engaged and plan to get married, and lives in Jakarta. Spearman rank Correlation used to measure the degree of association between two variables. It was concluded, hope correlated with marriage readiness. Based on the marriage readiness aspects, hope has a positive correlation with six marriage readiness aspects: communication, financial management, child rearing, extended family background, religion, leisure time.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara harapan dan kesiapan menikah pada dewasa muda yang sudah bertunangan di Jakarta. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah individu berusia 19-29 tahun yang sudah bertunangan dan berencana menikah, serta berdomisili di Jakarta yang berjumlah 124 partisipan. Untuk mengukur hubungan antara kedua variable menggunakan Spearman rank Correlation. Disimpulkan, bahwa harapan memiliki hubungan dengan kesiapan menikah. Dilihat berdasarkan aspek kesiapan menikah, maka harapan memiliki hubungan dengan 6 dimensi kesiapan menikah: komunikasi, pengaturan keuangan, pengasuhan anak, latar belakang keluarga besar, agama, pemanfaatan waktu luang.

Abstract

AbstractHappiness is a life’s goal for everyone. It also has an important role in the educational environment, especially for individuals who live in boarding schools. Happiness could escalate student’s motivation especially in learning and indirectly influence student’s activities while staying in boarding schools. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there are influences from religious orientation (intrinsic and extrinsic), hardiness (commitment, control, and challenge), and quality of friendship (stimulating companionship, help, intimacy, reliable alliance, self validation, and emotional security) towards the happiness of santri. This research involved 240 students from boarding schools in Bandung. The sampling technique used in this study is non probability sampling. The questionnaires for measuring happiness using OHI (Oxford Happiness Inventory), religious orientation using ROS (Religious Orientation Scale), hardiness using hardiness scale (how hardy are you?), and quality of friendship using MFQ FF (Mcgrill Friendship Questionnaire - Friend’s Functions). Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was used to test the validity of each item in the questionnaire from LISREL8.7 software. While statistical testing using multiple regression analysis of SPSS 17 software. Based on the results of the data analysis, there was a significant influence of religious orientation, hardiness, and quality of friendship on students' happiness. AbstrakKebahagiaan merupakan tujuan hidup bagi semua orang. Kebahagiaan juga memiliki peran penting dalam lingkungan pendidikan khususnya bagi individu yang tinggal di pondok pesantren. Dengan adanya kebahagiaan dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan secara tidak langsung dapat mempengaruhi aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh para santri selama berada di pondok pesantren. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh dari orientasi religius (intrinsik dan ekstrinsik), hardiness (commitment, control, dan challenge), dan quality of friendship (stimulating companionship, help, intimacy, reliable alliance, self validation, dan emotional security) terhadap kebahagiaan santri. Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries that have great potential in the paralympic Olympics or sports for athletes with disabilities. Through the 2018 Asian Para Games held in Jakarta in October, proving the achievements of our athletes, Indonesia ranked fifth in this event. Therefore the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Psychological Capital on Peak Performance in disabled athletes. This research method uses a quantitative approach. Respondents in this study consisted of 50 athletes with disabilities. The results of this study are to see the validity and reliability test using the Cronbach Alpha formula with an Alpha coefficient of 0.913 on the Psychological Capital scale and 0.92 on the Peak Performance scale. Data analysis in this study used a simple regression analysis technique with SPSS. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between Psychological Capital on Peak Performance (R Square coefficient (R2) of 0.258 and probability value of 0,000). This means that the higher the Psychology Capital, the higher the Peak Performance of disabled athletes. The contribution of Psychological Capital to peak performance was 25.8%.

Abstract

Self-disclosure is an individual's actions to share information about himself to others, whether it is private, less intimate or even everyday information. Adolescent with the development of personal space sometimes need distance and keep many secrets from their parents, and tend to be more open to friends. Parents who are worried about the child's social and personal life will do parental monitoring. Parental monitoring efforts are partly influenced by the social signals displayed by children, meaning that the strength of parental monitoring can be influenced by the degree of self-disclosure. On the other hand, children who try to disclose sometimes get different responses such as reacting positively or negatively from parents. Therefore, we assume that the strength of parental monitoring will also be influenced by parental knowledge. Self-disclosure will be a source of parental knowledge, and this knowledge then determines parental monitoring. If parents do not use the child's disclose to increase knowledge about the child, then the child's self-disclosure will not affect parental monitoring. Through a proportional stratified random sampling technique, it was obtained 394 high school students, to see the link between self-disclosure and parental monitoring with the mediation of parental knowledge. Data were taken using parental monitoring scale from Kerr and Stattin (a=0.83), self-disclosure scale from Wheeless and Grotz (a=0.67), and parental knowledge from Kerr and Stattin (a=0.73). Mediation test results with the model 4 Hayes PROCESS obtained that the relationship between self-disclosure and parental monitoring is fully mediated by parental knowledge of 0.10. This means that self-disclosure in high school students will affect parental monitoring, only if parents have adequate knowledge about their children.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to find out what variables affect employees who tend to turn out or stay in the company. In this study predicted workplace bullying, workplace spirituality and self esteem, affect employee turnover. Subjects in the study were 206 stewardesses who were obtained by accidental sampling technique. Test the validity of measuring instruments using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) techniques. Data analysis uses multiple regression analysis techniques. The results showed that there was a significant effect of workplace bullying, workplace spirituality and self-esteem on turnover intention. Minor hypothesis test results show that inner life and meaning and purpose in work significantly affect turnover intention. In contrast, work-related bullying, person-related bullying, physical bullying, and self-esteem are not significant in influencing turnover intentionAbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui variabel apa saja yang mempengaruhi  karyawan cenderung memilih  keluar (turnover) atau bertahan dalam perusahaan. Dalam penelitian ini diprediksi workplace bullying, spiritualitas ditempat kerja dan  self-esteem, berpengaruh terhadap turnover karyawan. Subyek pada penelitian berjumlah 206 Pramugari yang diperoleh dengan tehnik accidental sampling. Uji validitas alat ukur menggunakan teknik confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan workplace bullying, workplace spirituality dan self-esteem terhadap turnover intention. Hasil uji hipotesis minor menunjukkan bahwa inner life dan meaning and purpose in work secara signifikan mempengaruhi turnover intention. Sebaliknya, work-related bullying, person-related bullying, physical bullying, dan self-esteem tidak signifikan dalam mempengaruhi turnover intention

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the influence of learning attitude, habit of learning and achievement motivation against student’s performance on research methodology course. This study used a quantitative approach by involving 139 students of the faculty of psychology syarif hidayatullah state islamic university. Data was collected using questionnaire and being analyzed with multiple regression. The research results show that there is a significant impact (18,2%) between learning attitude, the habit of learning and achievements motivation against student’s performance on research methodology course.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the influence of the quality of friendship (stimulating friendship, help, intimacy, reliable alliances, self-validation, and emotional security) and subjective well-being (cognitive and affective aspects) on the characteristics of santri in the Islamic Boarding School of Al Amanah Al Gontory Pesantren. This research uses quantitative with multiple regression analysis method. The winning sample is 240 santri. The instrument collects data using a scale compiled by the author based on hardiness theory by Kobasa (1982), friendship quality theory by Mendelson and Aboud (2012), and subjective wellness theory by Diener, Lucas, and Oishi (2002). The results showed that there were significant differences in the quality of friendship and subjective well-being of santri of the Islamic Boarding School of Al Amanah Al Gontory Pesantren.
