Abstract

This study aims to uncover corruption related to public policy that focuses on patron-client relationships. The method used in this study is a literature review. Researchers use secondary data in journals, books, and related articles to discuss the problems researchers discuss. This study shows that political policy corruption is one example of political corruption that assumes that a person's position can bring benefits. These two elements are elements that strengthen and support each other. Political corruption will not occur without a patron-client relationship. Likewise, patrons will not be strong if they are not supported by political corruption. Second, patrons who come from regional heads tend to abuse their power. Patrons will use their authority to impose their will on others. This mechanism occurs because of the patron-client relationship carried out by political officials with informal actors. This relationship has a very significant impact on harming the state. The scientific contribution produced in this study is to explain more clearly the existence of public policy corruption manifested by political corruption

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the policy implementation of sustainable food agricultural land (PLP2B) protection in the City of Sukabumi. PLP2B is a government effort to protect productive agricultural land that has decreased due to conversion due to the growth of urban areas. Therefore, sustainable food agricultural land protection must be carried out optimally by applicable policies. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and data collection techniques through field observations, interviews, and documentation. Informants were determined using a non-probability sampling technique with a snowball sampling method. This research uses the theory of Van Meter van Horn (1975). The results of this study indicate that the implementation of sustainable food agricultural land protection policies in the city of Sukabumi is still not running optimally due to several obstacles, such as budget constraints, the economic value of agriculture, which is relatively small, and the depreciation of agricultural land which is changing functions every year. However, improvement efforts continue to improve the quality of the sustainable food agricultural land protection policy (PLP2B) in Sukabumi City.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of disability-friendly sexual violence prevention and handling programs in the Sragen Regency, focusing on Gender Focal Point training and Women and Children Protection Service Posts (P4A). This program not only focuses on the implementation of training but also on the overall implementation of the program aimed at increasing the capacity of inclusive services for people with disabilities. The evaluation was conducted using pre-tests and post-tests to assess changes in participants' understanding of sexual violence and the importance of inclusive services. The results showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge after the training, but challenges in implementing disability-friendly services remained, especially related to infrastructure and resource support. This study highlights the importance of a sustainable training approach and provides theoretical insight into how protection services can be more inclusive based on intersectionality theory. Although the study sample is limited, these results provide important insights for developing more responsive protection policies.

Abstract

This research discusses women's leadership and the issue of female-headed households in Kedak village, Kediri regency, with the background that 20 percent heads of households in the village are women, and led by a female village head who is also female-headed households. This research aims to analyse the role and impact of Sunarti's leadership on the issues faced by female headed-households in Kedak Village. This research fills the gap in the literature on women's leadership in rural areas and provides information about policies and programs that are responsive to female-headed households. By using a feminist research methodology that practices qualitative methods with data collection techniques such as literature study, document study, and interviews, this research concludes three things, firstly, socio-political pressure of community and Sunarti's leadership experience are the main factors in obtaining her position. Secondly, women's representation in Kedak Village government is still less than half of male representation. Third, Sunarti's efforts to accommodate the issues of female-headed households are reflected in the economic, health, and political sectors. Although not yet optimal, Sunarti's leadership shows partiality towards female-headed households.
