Abstract

The realization of customer repeat purchases will have a positive impact on the company because customers will continue to use the product for a long time. Therefore, this study aims to determine and analyze the effect of service quality and promotion on purchasing decisions with consumer satisfaction as the mediator. This study used quantitative analysis with the partial least squares structural equation model approach (SEM-PLS). Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire on Magenta English Course students. The distribution of the questionnaire was carried out via the google form and successfully responded to 106 students using a purposive sampling technique. Respondents were spread across all December 2022 course participants and alumni who had taken courses at the Magenta English Course. The sample is sufficient to represent the entire population of Magenta English Course students. The number of samples is obtained from calculations using the Slovin formula with a probability of 5%. Data were analyzed using SmartPLs 3.0. The results of this study indicate that service quality has no effect on repurchasing decisions. However, service quality affects consumer satisfaction. Then promotion has a significant effect on repurchasing decisions. Promotion has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction, as well as customer satisfaction which has a significant effect on increasing repurchase decisions. Finally, customer satisfaction becomes a mediating variable between promotion and repurchase decisions.

Abstract

The main purpose of the study was to identify the influence of TikTok social media marketing and online consumer review on purchasing decision on Jiniso’s products. Population of this study was college student who used TikTok  in Indonesia and had bought Jiniso’s products. The sampling technique used purposive sampling to obtain 300 respondents. The analytical test tool used SmartPLS v.3 with SEM (Structural Equation Model) analysis method. The result of this study indicate that TikTok social media marketing and online consumer review simultaneously had a 52.7% impact on purchasing decision. While the partial test results of each variable showed that social media marketing TikTok had a significant effect on purchasing decisions by 12.7% and online consumer reviews had a significant effect on purchasing decisions bye 63.8%.

Abstract

The general purpose of the companies are to increase their value. The value is important because it reflects investors' perceptions of the company's performance. This study aims to examine the effect of the size of the board of directors, the size of the audit committee, and ROA (Return on Assets) on Tobin's Q. The sample used in this research is family companies that categorize in the Manufacturing sectoral from 2015-2019. The results showed that profitability had a positive effect on firm value. However, the size of the board of directors has a negative effect on firm value. It is possible that a smaller board of directors may be more active in coordinating and communicating than a larger number of directors. In addition, a more limited number of directors can improve company performance because consensus in decision making and communication becomes more effective.

Abstract

Industri Percetakan dan Penerbitan di seluruh Dunia mengalami dampak yang signifikan akibat Pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini mencoba memberikan perspektif/tinjauan terkait eksistensi Industri Percetakan dan Penerbitan di tengah Pandemi COVID-19. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah literature review dengan mengumpulkan data dari sumber-sumber terpercaya seperti jurnal, buku, dan laporan Industri. Bentuk review dalam penelitian ini adalah Narrative Overview/Unsystematic Review. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Pandemi COVID-19 memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap Industri Percetakan dan Penerbitan, seperti penurunan permintaan pasar, kesulitan dalam mengimpor bahan baku, dan keterbatasan dalam produksi karena protokol Kesehatan yang harus dipatuhi. Namun, Industri ini menunjukkan ketahanan yang luar biasa dan mengambil berbagai strategi untuk bertahan selama Pandemi, seperti melakukan inovasi produk, memperluas pasar online, dan mengoptimalkan sistem distribusi. Secara keseluruhan, meskipun Industri Percetakan dan Penerbitan mengalami tantangan selama Pandemi COVID-19, tetapi Industri ini tetap dapat bertahan dan berkembang. Seiring dengan adopsi teknologi digital dan perubahan kebiasaan konsumen, Industri Percetakan dan Penerbitan memiliki potensi yang besar untuk terus berkembang dan menghadapi tantangan yang ada di masa depan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dampak pandemi Covid-19 terhadap sektor pertanian untuk mengembangkan sektor pertanian pasca pandemi Covid-19 dan formulasi kebijakan pemerintah dalam menjaga keberlanjutan sektor pertanian. Pendekatan elastisitas dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pandemi Covid-19 selain mengakibatkan kontraksi ekonomi yang negatif di hampir seluruh sektor ekonomi Kabupaten Jombang termasuk sektor pertanian juga mengakibatkan produktivitas tenaga kerja di sektor pertanian menurun. Hasil proyeksi berdasarkan elasitisitas kesempatan kerja sektoral, mengindikasikan lapangan usaha dengan serapan tenaga kerja terendah yaitu sektor pertanian dengan produktifitas per tenaga kerja akan menurun hingga tahun 2025.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the impact of disasters on the financial performance of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), as well as to analyze the differences in financial performance of MSMEs before and after disasters based on their business type and sector. The study was conducted in the city of Palu, with a sample of 1,504 MSMEs affected by earthquakes, tsunamis, and liquefaction. The research findings indicate that natural disasters have a negative impact on the financial performance of MSMEs in Palu. This means that the earthquakes, tsunamis, and liquefaction that occurred in Palu and its surrounding areas in 2018 resulted in a decline in the financial performance of MSMEs in the city, across industrial, service, and trade sectors. Additionally, this study provides new insights to the local government, highlighting the need to encourage MSMEs to develop disaster risk mitigation strategies, particularly to maintain financial stability in the aftermath of natural disasters.

Abstract

Industri luxury fashion rental (LFR) yang tengah berkembang di Indonesia dalam beberapa tahun terakhir telah memberikan kesempatan bagi penggunanya untuk mengakses produk-produk mewah tanpa harus membelinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi motivasi yang mendorong continuance intention pada LFR dengan menggunakan self-determination theory. Data yang terkumpul dari 313 responden di Indonesia diolah dengan SEM-PLS. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perceived usefulness, enjoyment, sense of belonging dan uniqueness dapat mempengaruhi continuance intention secara positif. Temuan lain mengungkap bahwa perceived usefulness secara positif memediasi economic benefit dan convenience terhadap continuance intention. Penelitian ini juga mengungkap peran enjoyment secara positif memediasi dari sustainability dan trust terhadap continuance intention.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between destination image, motivation, tourist satisfaction, and tourist loyalty. Data was collected by questionnaire with a sample of 118 tourists who had visited Seribu Batu Songgo Langit tourist destination at least twice with the age of 15-39 years old. SEM analysis is used to test the hypotheses in the proposed conceptual model. Destination Image has a significant influence on Tourist Satisfaction and Tourist Loyalty; Tourist Motivation has a significant influence on Tourist Satisfaction and Tourist Loyalty; Tourist Satisfaction has a significant influence on Tourist Loyalty; Destination Image influence Tourist Loyalty through Tourist Satisfaction; Tourist Motivation influence Tourist Loyalty through Tourist Satisfaction. This study can be useful in the field of tourism/in the area of tourism, both natural and artificial tourism. Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of profitability, liquidity, and leverage on firm value with dividend policy as a moderating variable in retail companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Therefore, it applied a quantitative design with secondary data, including financial reports from 2015 2019 in balance sheets and income statements from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study used a purposive sampling research technique, so the research samples were seven retail companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. While the data analysis method used moderating regression analysis (MRA). The results of the study using MRA indicated that the profitability variable (return on assets) had a positive and insignificant effect on firm value (price book value); the liquidity (current ratio) had a positive and significant effect on firm value (price book value); and the leverage (debt to equity ratio) had a positive and insignificant effect on firm value. Moreover, the profitability had a positive and insignificant effect on firm value moderated by dividend policy (dividend payout ratio), and the liquidity and leverage had a negative and insignificant effect on firm value moderated by dividend policy

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Shopping Lifestyle, Hedonic Shoping, pruce discount terhadap Impulse Buying. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada e-commerce shopee. Jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 108 responden, dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dengan sampel yaitu konsumen yang pernah membeli atau melakukan transaksi dan juga memiliki aplikasi di shopee. Data dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) menggunakan AMOS 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  bahwa 1) hedonic shopping berpengaruh positif  dan signifikan terhadap impulsif buying. 2) Shopping Lifestyle berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Impulse Buying. 3) price discount berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap impulsif buying pada pelanggan di shopee.
