Abstract

Entrepeneurship orientation has been acknowledged in literature and practice as a vital element of economic and organizational growth, success and competitiveness and can be considered as a unique competitive advantage. The purpose of the paper is to provide a comprehensive analysis of the concept of entrepeneurship orientation. Concluding, the paper suggests directions for future research.

Abstract

Not all entrepreneurs demonstrate the same kind of behaviors. An ‘opportunity’ entrepreneur starts a new business by exploiting an identifiable business opportunity and is expected to help develop the economy. On the other hand, a ‘necessity’ entrepreneur does so in order to survive over poverty and/or unemployment, and thus can hardly contribute much to the economic development. This paper to describes this types of entrepreneur.

Abstract

One of the goals of accounting education in Indonesia is to introduce the students to the ethics and values of accounting profession. This research focused on the effectiveness of acconting curiculum in developing students responsibility towards the financial statement’s users. We find that different ethics influence to perception the financial statement.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate and analyze the factors that affect the competitive advantage through product innovation. The method used is the method of survey data obtained directly through questionnaires. Sampling using sensus sampling methods and methods of analysis used in this research was the path analysis.  Based on the research results revealed that strategy orientation, and organization structure have effect on innovation. And variable innovation, have effect of the firm competitive advantage.

Abstract

Bank Indonesia, together with the financial accounting standards board issued financial standards governing the allowance for credit losses due to the enactment of the international financial standards IFRS. Provision for credit losses is very important for banks to be able to cope with the risk of losses incurred due to the failure of the bank disbursed loan repayments. Banking indirectly still have a dilemma with the application of IAS 50 on financial instruments presentation of IAS 55 and IAS 60 regarding measurement of the disclosure. These applications have benefits in addition to the problems in the implementation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to test whether the source credibility affects buying intention. The influence that endorser credibility dimensions (i.e. attractiveness, trustworthiness and expertise) have on purchase intentions of 100 young consumers has been examined. The results showed that all of the three credibility dimensions have a positive relationship with purchase intention

Abstract

Given that importance of the frontline employees, and thus are in a privileged position to collect market information, as well as help their employer to develop better solutions to customer problems, it is important to understand the determinants of their creativity.            This research uses convinience sampling method. Respondent from this research are 109 persons, which are the frontliner of tour & travel in Semarang City. Data analyze tools which used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) under AMOS 21 program.            Result from data analyzes shows that the model and the result from research can be accepted. And this result proves that influence of learning orientation, and creativity is positive and significant. Goal orientation influences positive and significant to creativity. And crativity influences positive and significant to performance.

Abstract

Online trust is one of the main determinants of the success of e-retailers and much research has dealt with website features triggering consumer trust to them. Another stream of research focuses on the psychological antecedents to online trust; i.e., what ‘‘happens’’ in the consumer’s mind before or while a person decides to trust an e-retailer? So far, each effort has focused on only a few selected aspects of this trust formation process. Only few studies have attempted to identify major personality based psychological antecedents of trust. This work identified the relative importance of the personality based psychological antecedents of trust in technology adoption and e-retailing. The model incorporates the personality traits (Extraversion, and Openness to experience), the most widely accepted framework for personality research in psychology, as well as determinants of trust in our model.

Abstract

This research analyses the influence of customer participation, customer problem management,  and educational customer to customer loyalty. Technique of sampling applied is accidental sampling method. The responders in this research are 121 responders, and all responder are customers of Vitalac. Tool of data analysis’s used is using computer program of SPSS.The result of data analysis shows that the model developed and the research result can be accepted.  Hereinafter, the result proves that there is positive influence of customer participation, customer problem management,  and educational customer to customer loyalty
