Abstract

The purpose of this study conducted to examine the effect of work stress and job satisfaction on turnover intention of employee in production department. The sample was 86 respondent, using Slovin method with proportionate random sampling technique. The result showed that job stress has a positive effect on turnover intention while job satisfaction has a negative effect on turnover intention. This study conclude that job stress has positive and significant impact on employee turnover intention and job satisfaction significantly and negatively related to turnover intention of employees. Therefore, it is recommended to managerial level people to reduce stress levels in employees and to create a program for pressing turnover intention, such as promotional opportunities and improve employee rewards.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengukur kinerja perusahaan di RSUD Kebumen, yang selama ini menekankan pada aspek keuangan. Penilaian tersebut kurang menggambarkan kinerja perusahaan secara keseluruhan, karena hanya menilai kinerja jangka pendek dan mengabaikan aset tidak berwujud. Pengukuran kinerja menggunakan metode Balanced Scorecard mempertimbangkan baik aspek keuangan dan non-keuangan. Pengukuran ini melibatkan empat perspektif, yaitu: keuangan, pelanggan, proses bisnis internal, dan pembelajaran dan perspektif pertumbuhan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan skor kinerja rumah sakit melalui empat perspektif Balanced Scorecard. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa hasil perspektif finansial dinilai baik dengan rasio efektivitas yang sesuai target. Kinerja berdasarkan perspektif pelanggan dianggap cukup baik. Namun, tingkat akuisisi pasien menurun. Berdasarkan perspektif proses bisnis internal, kinerja dinilai ideal. Tingkat produktivitas dilihat dari perspektif pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan rata-rata sebesar Rp24.663.959, dan kepuasan karyawan dinilai cukup baik. This study aimed to measure the performance of companies in Kebumen Hospital, which has emphasized the financial aspects. The assessment describes the lack of overall company performance, as only assess short-term performance and ignores intangible assets. Measurement of performance using the Balanced Scorecard method is to consider both aspects of financial and non-financial. This measurement involves four perspectives: financial, customer, internal business processes, and learning and growth perspective. The analysis shows the hospital performance scores over the four Balanced Scorecard perspectives. Based on the results of the study, concluded that the financial rating of good results with the corresponding effectiveness ratio target. Performance which based on the customer’s perspective is considered quite good. However, the acquisition of patient decline. Based on internal business process perspective, the ideal performance assessed. Level of productivity seen from the perspective of learning and growth average of Rp24.663.959, and employee satisfaction was considered quite good

Abstract

This paper finds out the impact of intellectual capital on firm performance and risk. Moreover, this paper also examines whether the board diversity in terms of gender and nationality can strengthen the effect of intellectual capital towards firm performance and risk that operates in banking industries in ASEAN. The data in this study obtained from Bloomberg and OSIRIS database and also the firm’s annual reports over the period of 2012-2016 (375 observations) and conducted in ASEAN countries, namely Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. The results find that the efficient and effective use of intellectual capital will make the firms achieved higher performance. Meanwhile, intellectual capital can help reduce credit risk. In the interaction effect, the result is consistent with social psychology theory and shows that the presence of board diversity actually reduces firm performance and increases risk.

Abstract

This study aims to examine factors contributing to societies’ tendencies to choose online shopping, the characteristics of e-commerce needed by societies and obstacles faced by MSME in handling business competition. E-commerce is a set of dynamic technology, application and business process which connects certain companies, consumers and communities through electronic transaction. Trade of goods, services and information is performed electronically. The development of E-commerce system for MSME aims to change its culture which still relies on conventional purchasing into online shopping, improve MSME’s sales in order to promote, market and sell products to internet users through website without any space and time limits. The research subjects are people involving in MSME and communities of Jebres village, Surakarta. This study applies qualitative paradigm. The research subjects were taken using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected using various techniques: structured interview, questionnaire, observation and content analysis or archive analysis. Data were later analyzed using four stages, namely data reduction, classification, data presentation and verification.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh kebijakan manajemen keuangan yang terdiri dari kebijakan investasi, kebijakan pendanaan dan kebijakan dividen terhadap nilai perusahaan secara parsial dan simultan. Populasi penelitian adalah perusahaan BUMN yang listing di BEI pada tahun 2008-2010. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Variabel kebijakan manajemen keuangan yang terdiri dari kebijakan investasi diproksi oleh Total Aset Growth (TAG) dan Market to Book Assets Ratio (MBAR), kebijakan dividen diwakili oleh Dividend Pay Out Ratio (DPR), dan kebijakan pendanaan  diproksi oleh Market Debt to Equity Ratio (MDER) sementara nilai perusahaan diproksi dengan Free Cash Flow (FCF). Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel kebijakan manajemen keuangan terhadap nilai perusahaan.The study aims to examine the effect financial management policy i.e. investment policy, financing policy and dividend policy on value of the firm. The population of this study is the government enterprises listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the period of 2008 to 2010. Purposive sampling is used as sampling technique. Investment policy is proxied by Total Aset Growth (TAG) dan Market to Book Assets Ratio (MBAR), dividend policy subtitued by Devidend Pay Out Ratio (DPR) and financing policy is proxied by market Debt to Equity Ratio. Meanwhile value of the firm is proxied by Free Cash Flow (FCF). Multiple analysis regression data is used to analyze data. The result shows that financial management variables have significant effect on value of the firm.

Abstract

The purpose of this study were 1) develop a new concept of Bilateral Symmetry, which is the ability of similarity based on transparency and standardization, 2) conduct empirical testing and analyzing the effect of bilateral symmetry to the improved supply chain performance through quality of synergy in industrial automotive components. The study population includes the entire automotive component industry in Indonesia. This study used sample of 105 respondents using purposive sampling method to comply with the AMOS program. The study result shows that the ability of similarity standardization and the ability of the similarity of transparency have positive significant impact on the quality of synergy, and quality of synergy have positive significant impact on the supply chain performance. In addition, from the results of hypothesis testing found two strategies that can improve supply chain performance with 1) increasing the ability of similarity standardization and 2) improve transparency through quality of synergy.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan konsep baru bilateral symmetry, yang merupakan kemampuan kesamaan berdasarkan transparansi dan standarisasi, dan melakukan pengujian empiris dan menganalisis pengaruh simetri bilateral untuk peningkatan kinerja rantai pasokan melalui kualitas sinergi pada komponen otomotif industri. Populasi penelitian meliputi seluruh industri komponen otomotif di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel 105 responden dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan dianalisis dengan program AMOS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan kesamaan standarisasi dan kemampuan kesamaan transparansi berdampak signifikan positif pada kualitas sinergi, dan kualitas sinergi berdampak signifikan positif terhadap kinerja rantai pasokan. Selain itu, dari hasil pengujian hipotesis menemukan dua strategi yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja supply chain dengan meningkatkan kemampuan kesamaan standarisasi dan meningkatkan transparansi melalui kualitas sinergi.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of perceived work overload and work-family conflict on organizational commitment with job autonomy as a moderating variable. This study combines Moore (2000a) and Ahuja et al. (2007) IS Turnover model to develop a more parsimony model in explaining the phenomenon of organizational commitment in Social Security Administrator for Health (BPJS Kesehatan). Population of this study is employees of BPJS Kesehatan including Central Office, Deputy for Jakarta-Bogor-Depok-Tangerang-Bekasi (Jabodetabek) Region, Deputy for Central Java and DIY, Deputy for Papua and West Papua, Deputy for North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, Gorontalo and North Maluku, and Deputy for Region South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi and Maluku. 1650 samples of employee from all level and job positions have gathered by online questionnaire survey. The Result shows that the perception of work overload and work-family conflict affects organizational commitment and is moderated by job autonomy. Implications for future research and stakeholders are further discussed.

Abstract

This objective of the study was to analyze the influence the Ballyhoo, Banner, the Flowers Board, and the Newspaper Advertisement toward the Personal Branding of the Padang Mayor/ Vice Mayor Candidates in the period of 2014-2019 from UNP students perspective. The samples were 180 UNP students. The samples were taken by proportional cluster random sampling. The data were analysed by statistical test of multiple linear regression. The results of the research showed that: the Ballyhoo gave positive and significant influence toward the Personal Branding of the Padang Mayor/Vice Mayor candidates in the period of 2014-2019, whereas the Banner, the Flowers Board, and the Newspaper Advertisement did not influence their Personal Branding.
