Abstract

This study aimed to empirically examine the work readiness model developed in this study by using a variable approach to training, apprenticeship, self efficacy and locus of control. Data on training variables, apprenticeship, self efficacy, locus of control, and work readiness were obtained through interviews using a questionnaire conducted to the final semester students of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business of Walisongo State Islamic University (UIN Walisongo Semarang). The sample selection was conducted using a purposive random sampling approach in order to obtain a total of 112 respondents. Testing the research model was done by using SEM as an approach to the analysis technique. The test results showed that training and apprenticeship were proven to be able to explain self-efficacy and locus of control. The results of this study also showed that training, apprenticeship, self efficacy and locus of control were appropriate variables to explain variations in work readiness. Square Multiple Correlation value on work readiness variable was 33.5%. Based on the findings of this study, the suggestion for future research is to develop a research model by testing the self-concept variables and fear of failure to work readiness.

This type of research is descriptive research that will describe the validation process from module development to finding results about module validity that has been compiled. The source of research data was obtained from module validation sheets which were assessed based on each indicator by two experts. Data analysis techniques were carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. Data from the module validation sheet were analyzed quantitatively, and then descriptive techniques were used to draw qualitative conclusions. The results of the study indicated that the modules that have been designed were eligible to be used in the learning process of cost accounting practice courses at STKIP PGRI West Sumatra. These results were based on the results of material validation with an assessment of four indicators, namely the suitability of the material with competency standards, the accuracy of the material, supporting learning material and material updating with an average score of 3.2 by each expert. Expert advice for module improvement before practicing practice is that it is necessary to add information in the example of problem calculation and improvement in language writing.

Industrial work practices (Prakerin) improve students' competence in work experience in the working world industry (IDUKA). The research model uses a qualitative method with a case study. This method is intended to know in depth the implementation of industry work practices (prakterin) based on project based learning online or offline in SMK Bali Province. The research began through direct observation (observation) of the activities of the implementation of industry work practices based on blended learning projects in SmK Bali Province. Data collection techniques are carried out through in-depth interviews with informants who are directly involved in industry work practice activities (prakerin) based on blended learning projects. The research location was conducted at SMKN 1 Sukowati, Bali, SMKN 2 Negara Bali, SMKN 3 Denpasar and SMKN 5 Denpasar Bali Province. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The conditions for implementing project based learning Prakerin are constrained by the limitations of face-to-face learning activities in education units; (2) Project-based, blended learning-based Industrial Work Practice is one solution as a form of student industrial work practice program using online learning as well as face-to-face teaching and collaboration to design, repeat, and complete project-based learning tasks or creative economy products; (3) The industrial work practice curriculum is the result of synchronizing the curriculum in the education unit with the industrial working world curriculum (IDUKA).

Abstract

This study aims to explain the current findings of digital literacy in formal online education. The methods of research is a type of library description  obtained from relevant scientific articles obtained from internet search media library engines: proquest, researchgate, google scholar and other search engines with keyword search "digital literacy" to find the publication of related scientific papers / relevant to the topic. Then the 41 articles found (listed in the references) are studied and then explained from the author's perspective. Digital literacy is multi-dimensional, built by multi construct hypotesis. In the previous research found a higher level of digital literacy that was positively related to the output of learning outcomes in the subjects studied. Online learners  feel anxious because they do not understand and are accustomed to online classes, especially for those who have limited computer skills. Most importantly, independent students get the final grade of the program far better than non-independent students. The best predictor of academic success, measured by the final grades, namely components of academic skills, reading and writing abilities. Higher levels of digital literacy positively affected the high output of learning outcomes to student academic performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the learning community on computer-based statistic acceptance. Acceptability is measured with perceived usefulness variables, perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, and reuse intention. This study used quasi-experimental design. To selecting the respondents, researchers used cluster random sampling and a questionnaire to collect the data. Respondents consisted of 207 accounting students of which 86 were engaged in the learning community while 121 were not. One-way ANOVA analysis result showed that students who participated in the learning community have better computer-based statistic acceptance than the students who did not. The learning community was found to be able to facilitate the transfer of knowledge among students more freely than in the classroom. Further research can consider true-experimental design or lab experiment with more rigorous manipulation for controlling bias from another variable that may consist.

The data collection methods used were documentation, test, and observation techniques. The research type is quasi experiment with pretest-posttest control group design. The analysis technique used was descriptive statistical analysis and Multivariate Analysis of Variances (MANOVA). The results showed that TPS and TSTS methods were proven to be more effective than conventional ones in improving students’ learning outcomes. Students who were taught by TPS and TSTS methods were also proven to have better collaborative skills than students taught by conventional methods.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which the application of archive learning based on the Kurikulum 2013 conducted by XII students in Office Administration at the SMK Negeri 1 Tepus. This is a evaluative study in which the methods used are Context, Input, Process and Product (CIPP). Data collection is obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis using interactive analysis by Miles and Huberman consists of data collection, data reduction (data reduction), data presentation (data display) and conclusions (conclusions / verification). The results of the study indicate that the implementation of archive learning is considered, starting with preparing syllabus and lesson plans (RPP) so that they can be implemented in the classroom starting from Opening Activities, Core Activities, and Closing Activities. However, in real practice, these activities are considered to be less in line with the implementation of the Kurikulum 2013 because there have been many obstacles felt by teachers, students, and school infrastructure.
