<![CDATA[This activity was carried out with the aim to resolve the problems faced by the partner with businesses in the field of making traditional ice cream in Semarang. The implementation employed the following methods; with lecture / extension for the theoretical material and motivation, demonstration to deliver practical material / skills, direct practice by partners, and mentoring activities. The results of community service activities are: 1) in the aspect of production, a set of machine ice cream maker was produced, two sets of coconut grater machines, supporting equipment of ice cream production, and the arrangement of the production site, 2) In the aspect business management, the partners have been given assistance on simple accounting, promotions, and marketing of products, 3) the partner may improve the productivity and quality of products that have an impact on increasing revenues.]]>

<![CDATA[Problems faced by the partners with regard to the continuation of life for orphans who have graduated from high school level, namely 1) Inability manager of an orphanage in financing the continuation of study to pursue the course for foster children; 2) Limitations orphanage in get- ting a job; (3) Lack of skill in the field of multimedia orphanage in capturing the job opportunities in the world of multimedia, especially digital printing industry. Currently the workforce with the skills of graphic design and multimedia has considerable opportunities in the industry engaged in creative multimedia. In Semarang and surrounding digital printing business continues to grow and evolve. The solution offered in this community service is a foster child skill enhancement through training with the stages in creative multimedia solutions: (1) Method IbM, namely creative multimedia training for orphans; (2) The activity plan and the involvement of partners in the implementation of a series of multimedia training activities; (3) Participation IbM partner with the team, partners active role in sup- porting the education and training of the design and production of creative multimedia merchandise.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this activity is to resolve the problems faced by the industry partner with the business of making tofu and tempeh, which is located in the village of Kenteng, Bandungan subdistrict, Semarang regency. As this activity involves the implementation team of lecturers with expertise appropriate to the needs of the field and assisted students. In the implementation used multiple methods of mutual support, with a practice emphasis directly by partners and mentoring activities. The results of these activities include 1) One unit of soybean grinding machine with an electric motor drive power 1 HP, 2) One unit of soybean crusher drive motor gasoline of 5.5 PK and has a production of capacity of 300 kg / hour, or five times that of soy-solving process manually which is only 60 kg / h, 3) Both the partners I and II have applied with better production management, and a cleaner production equipment, and workers had to use health and safety equipment. Impact activities include economic and non-economic aspects. The economic impact can be measured from the increased productivity and better product quality so as to increase the selling value of products. Non-economic impact can be measured from the comfort of work will also indirectly affect the economic benefits.]]>

<![CDATA[Agriculture-based business development efforts is crucial carried out in support of public welfare. One of the agricultural products which have the potential to be developed towards an industrial scale are fruits and vegetables. During this time, farmers only sell fruit and vegetables in the form of raw products, and product diversification are less in touch. So far, farmers also simply be a price taker, where they do not have the strength in pricing. This causes farmers sometimes manipulated by middlemen, especially when the harvest is abundant. Therefore, it takes effort and innovation to cultivate fruit and vegetables to be more durable, has a high economic value and improve the welfare of farmers. The purpose of this service is: (1) provide training on making chips eggplants and carrots; (2) facilitate the use of freezingfrying machines; (3) help the vegetable farmers in assessing the feasibility of making chips eggplants and carrots (4) facilitate and assist farmers in accessing capital loans to financial institutions (5) business assistance. The methods used in service activities are 1) a method of action which the servants of training the production of chips eggplant and vegetables, 2) methods of assistance where efforts procurement of machines, access to capital and feasibility studies done here and, 3) the method of supervision, which in the method The servant evaluate and solve problems encountered while running a business. After the service is implemented, is expected to solve the existing problems so as to support the promotion of the local economy and local vegetable growers.]]>

<![CDATA[Quality and production capacity of instant health beverages HEALTHY home industry needs to be im- proved by using instant beverage processing machines. Destination activities to the community ser- vice are: 1) to improve the quality and production capacity of the processing machine instant health drink. ; 2) determine the added value from the use of instant health beverage processing machines;3) designing product packaging instant health drink exciting HEALTHY home industry. Benefits of community service activities are: increasing the value-added plant rhizomes; generating appropri- ate technologies such as instant health machine processing machine; improve the performance of HEALTHY home industry to become more optimal; assist local governments in an effort to improve the quality of life through community service activities. The method of implementation of activities, among others: 1) extension of instant health beverage processing; 2) manufacture of packaging design by using graphic design; 3) making machines using the method of design; 4) training in production, use of tools and treatment methods and practices FAQ; 5) evaluation of the use of the machine using a test method and observation; 6) assistance and consultation methods of discussion. The results of these activities are there to improve the quality and production capacity by using a processing engine instant drinks, deficits improve the added value of the application of machinery to come from reduced labor costs of employees, and a reduction in fuel costs reached lebh of 50% where the process previ- ously done twice into one time. <![CDATA[Conditions The people of the Pakintelan area in village locations have a livelihood of selling cat rice, meatballs, and selling fried food. The repeated use of used cooking oil for frying is damaging human health to cause cancer. The availability of banana peel waste can be found at fried food sellers. This activity aims to increase the cooking oil user community's understanding and purify cooking oil by adsorption of activated carbon, and it can be reused. Increase public knowledge that banana peels can activate charcoal as a cooking oil purifier in the adsorber column. The method used is the socialization and education of conservation on the manufacture of activated carbon and the adsorption of cooking oil with a specific acid number. The results are by SNI and can be reused. Checking the results of purification and evaluation is carried out. Understanding the population using new cooking oil at week 4 reaches 83% of the samples tested. Cooking oil that is used at least five times is adsorbed with an acid number of 0.6. Products can benefit people's health, reduce cooking oil spending and increase knowledge and skills in purifying used cooking oil.]]>

<![CDATA[Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di wilayah Semarang, di Dekopinda Semarang dengan peserta para pengurusdan pengawas Koperasi Berskala Besar yang sudah layak untuk diaudit eksternal dengan tujuan sosialisasi pemberdayaan peran serta fungsi pengawas koperasi se kota semarang. Adanya pelatihan ini diharapkan meningkatnya kualitas Sistem Pengendalian Intern (SPI) Koperasi anggota DEkopinda Kota Semarang agar dapat meminimalisir terjadinya kecurangan (fraud) yang terjadi di koperasi. Selain itu dapat meningkatkan kesadaran pengurus bahwa koperasi membutuhkan peran auditor eksternal guna meningkatkan kredibilitas dan akuntabilitas laporan keuangan yang dibuatnya, terkait adanya kepentingan dari para anggota selaku stakeholder utama dalam badan usaha ini, mengingat tidak semua anggota berperan sebagai pengurus. Sosialisasi ini hendaknya diikuti dengan agenda follow up terkait penguatan Sistem Pengendalian Internal (SPI) Koperasi anggota Dekpinda Kota Semarang. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan teknis mengenai peran Sistem Pengendalian Internal (SPI) agar dapat meminimalisir terjadinya kecurangan (fraud0 yang dilakukan oleh top manajer, para pengurus koperasi maupun para pengawas koperasi. Dengan terciptanya SPI yang baik guna memastikan kegiatan operasional perusahaan berjalan dengan baik dan benar, sehingga membantu meningkatkan kredibilitas laporan keuangan dan secara tidak langsung meningkatkan kualitas dari laporan keuangan itu sendiri.]]>

<![CDATA[Susu sapi yang dihasilkan para peternak sapi di RT 03 RW 02 Kelurahan Nongkosawit Kecamatan Gunungpati hanya dijual ke pasar dalam keadaan susu segar dan selebihnya untuk kebutuhan sendiri sehari-hari tanpa ada upaya untuk membuat produk lain yang lebih bervariasi. Tujuan spesifik kegiatan ini adalah agar masyarakat melalui kelompok ibu-ibu PKK RT 03 RW 02 dapat memanfaatkan potensi yang ada didaerahnya, kecuali itu juga meningkatkan gizi pada balitanya mengingat susu merupakan makanan yang bergizi cukup tinggi dan harganya relatif murah. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah mengenai seluk beluk susu, metode praktek tentang cara pengolahan susu sapi segar menjadi youghurt aneka rasa dan yang berhubungan dengan pasca pengolahan, metode tanya jawab untuk mengetahui sampai sejauh mana peserta mampu menerima atau terlibat dalam kegiatan ini dan evaluasi untuk memperoleh gambaran dalam rangka penafsiran dan analisis untuk memperoleh simpulan dari semua kegiatan yang sudah dilaksanakan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan masyarakat sangat antusias untuk mengolah susu sapi segar menjadi youghurt dengan berbagai macam rasa. Perlu dilakukan inovasi dan kreativitas dalam proses pengolahan susu sapi segar agar produk yang dihasilkan bisa lebih baik danbermutu.]]>

<![CDATA[One positive impact of technological development on education is providing facilities to support the learning and teaching process. The teachers to be more efficient, and the delivery of material can be easily conveyed through e-learning facilities. Schoology is an e-hearing media platform with various facilities that make it easy for educators and students in the educational process to academic results. The purpose of this activity is to test the usability level of using Schoology. The administration and teaching process to go to the level of understanding of operations through community service carried out at SMAN 2 Boyolali. Pre-test results that indicate that the high school has not yet implemented a learning management system. There are 5.26% of teachers who are only limited to learning the e-learning Schoology, while 94.74% only know it through the Universitas Negeri Semarang team. After the training, the results of the post-test show that 80.26% of teachers can use Schoology. The existence of e-learning training can help teachers support the teaching and learning process at school.]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang berupa pelatihan guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan dalam analisis statistika penelitian eksperimen tiga perlakuan ini adalah: (1) Melakukan upaya agar kompetensi guru guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di kota Semarang dalam analisis statistika penelitian eksperimen tiga perlakuan setelah mendapat pelatihan akan lebih baik dari pada sebelum mendapat pelatihan, (2) Meningkatkan kompetensi guru guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di kota Semarang dalam analisis statistika penelitian eksperimen tiga perlakuan setelah mendapat pelatihan.Kegiatan pelatihan ini menggunakan metode Training Within Industry yang langkah-langkahnya sebagai berikut: (1) persiapan, (2) peragaan, (3) peniruan, dan (4) praktik. Hasil dari pelatihan yang dilakukan sebagai berikut: (1)Hasil pelatihan guru guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di kota Semarang dalam analisis statistika penelitian eksperimen tiga perlakuan adalah dari sebelumnya kompetensinya rendah setelah dilakukan pelatihan kompetensinya menjadi tinggi, (2) Ada peningkatan yang cukup tinggi kompetensi guru guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruandi kota Semarang dalam analisis statistika penelitian eksperimen tiga perlakuan sesudah mendapat pelatihan dibandingkan sebelumnya.]]>
