Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive. The collection of data obtained by interview, observation and documentation was held in Pebruary, 2012 in SMPN 1 Nglames Madiun.The result showed that : 1) curriculum development programs in the areas of character study of learning in social studies IPS as a guide in providing socio-cultural, knowledge to the community was aware of character and dignity of life, the purpose of the program curriculum in social studies teaching character is to be able to organize educational activities in accordance with the characteristics of scholl. 2) form of curriculum development in field of learning the characters in the IPS study syllabus and lesson plane aremaking through the character through content standards and basic competence. 3) succesfull development of curriculum in the areas of character study of learning IPS yet there apperas anotable change in the students in their daily lives. 4) internal and external factors that support the succesful development of the curriculum in the areas character study of learning IPS is the principal must be able to carry out all activities according to their main objectives and content of external factor that support curriculum development KTSP in the field of study IPS is the involvement of school or departement of education public awareness of the environment.

Abstract

Analisis Kinerja Guru IPS Pasca Sertifikasidi SMP Negeri Kota TarakanSukonoPengawas Sekolah Dinas Pendidikan Kota TarakanEmail: Sukono nono@yahoo.comAbstract:The approach in this research was quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative approach was used to acquire the data of the assessment of teacher?s performance. Meanwhile, qualitative was used to acquire the data of teachers? interview result related to teachers? main duty, the supporting factors of teacher?s performance and its inhibiting factors. The results showed that social science teacher?s performance of Junior High School in Tarakan in the dimension of learning implementation overall had met the performance with the average ?fair?. The supporting factors of teacher?s performance reached the average ?good? category as follows: 1) sufficient facility and infrastructure; 2) teacher?s welfare was concerned; 3) principal?s support was very good; 4) the enhancement of teacher competency was concerned; 5) the supporting condition of school environment; 6) reward for teachers who achieve excellent. Inhibiting factors of teachers? performance, namely: 1) school?s facility and infrastructure had not been sufficient; 2) less support from principal; 3) learning media were still lacking, and 4) less supporting school environment.Keywords: teachers? performance, main duty of teachers, teacher certification.Abstrak:Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan untuk memperoleh data penilaian kinerja guru, sedangkan kualitatif digunakan memperoleh data hasil wawancara guru berkaitan tugas utama guru, faktor-faktor pendukung kinerja guru dan faktor-faktor penghambat kinerja guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja guru IPS jenjang SMP di kota Tarakan pada dimensi pelaksanaan pembelajaran secara keseluruhan telah memenuhi kinerja dengan rata-rata cukup. Faktor pendukung kinerja guru mencapai rata-rata kategori baik antara lain: 1) sarana prasarana yang memadai; 2) kesejahteraan guru di diperhatikan; 3) dukungan Kepala Sekolah sangat baik; 4) peningkatan kompetensi guru diperhatikan; 5) kondisi lingkungan sekolah yang mendukung; 6) reward bagi guru yang berprestasi. Faktor-faktor penghambat kinerja guru, yaitu: 1) sarana prasarana sekolah belum memadai; 2) dukungan dari Kepala Sekolah kurang: 3) media pembelajaran masih kurang, dan 4) lingkungan sekolah yang kurang mendukungKata kunci: kinerja guru, tugas utama guru, sertifikasi guru.

Pengembangan Model Speaking Materi Text Procedure Melalui Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD Berbasis Nilai Karakter di SMP Negeri 3 GresikSuci HandayaniGuru bahasa Inggris SMP Negeri 3 GresikE-mail: sucihandayani19@gmail.comAbstract:This study aimed at developing character-based learning Speaking Model through STAD cooperative learning and its instructional kits for the Junior High School satisfying validity and effectiveness criteria. The findings were as follows: 1) based on the results of validation experts and practitioners, the developed learning model was valid; 2) Based on the results of the validation experts and practitioners as well, the model developed and its instructional kits declared as valid; 3) Based on the results of the try-out of develop model and its instructional kits, it satisfied the effectiveness of criterion, which is indicated by the validity of the model, the model feasibility analysis, and analysis of the implementation of the learning plan; 4) Based on the results of the try-out criteria, the model is effective, which is shown by the students in learning activities, students? responses, and the achievement of students? competency both individually and classically.Keywords: character-based, development of speaking model, procedures textAbstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Model Pembelajaran Speaking Materi Procedure Text melalui pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbasis karakter dan perangkat pembelajaran di SMP yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut: 1) berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli dan praktisi, model pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid; 2) berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli dan praktisi, model perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid; 3) berdasarkan hasil ujicoba, model tersebut memenuhi kategori dengan keterlaksanaan seluruhnya, yang ditunjukkan oleh validitas model, analisis keterlaksanaan model, analisis pelaksanaan rencana pembelajaran; 4) berdasarkan ujicoba, model tersebut memenuhi kriteria efektif, yang ditunjukkan oleh aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran, respon siswa, dan pencapaian kompetensi siswa baik secara individu maupun klasikal.Kata kunci: berbasis nilai karakter, pengembangan model speaking ,prosedur text

Abstract

Pengaruh Kompetensi Guru terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Guru SMA Negeri PariamanAsfar Amir1, Syahrir @ Chairil bin Hj. Marzuki, Zahari Bin HashimUniversiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris Malaysia1 Email: asfartanjung@gmail.comAbstract :The objective of this study is to analyze the effect of pedagogic competency,personal competency, social competency, professional competency, intellectual competency and spiritual competency towards the satisfaction of teachers? performance. The population in this study was 94 teachers of SMANPariaman. The sample was taken through stratified random sampling amounted 129 teachers. The data collection used questionnaire, while data analysis usedmultiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 16.0.The results found that pedagogic competency was affected towards the satisfaction of teachers? performance, personal competency was affected towards the satisfaction of teachers? performance, social competency was affected towards the satisfaction of teachers? performance, professional competency was affected towards the satisfaction of teachers? performance, intellectual competency was affected towards the satisfaction of teachers? performance, and spiritual competency was affected towards the satisfaction of teachers? performance.Key words: teacher competences, job satisfactionAbstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik, kompetensi kepribadian, kompetensi sosial, kompetensi profesional, kompetensi intelektual dan kompetensi spritual terhadap kepuasan kerja guru. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 294 orang guru SMAN pariaman. Sampel diambil melalui stratified random sampling sebanyak 129 guru. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 16.0. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa kompetensi pedagogik berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja guru, kompetensi kepribadian berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja guru, kompetensi sosial berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja guru, kompetensi profesional berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja guru, kompetensi intelektual berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja guru dan kompetensi spritual berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja guru. Abstract

Furi AsfiatulAin Guru Matematika SMK N 1 Cerme Email: r12n_2004@yahoo.comAbstract:This quantitative study revealed that: 1) the students? entrepreneurship behaviors of the twelfth graders in Public Vocational School 1 Cerme was categorized very high; 2) the implementation of the entrepreneurship education and training was categorized high; 3) the learners? entrepreneurship learning achievement was categorized high; 4) the implementation of entrepreneurship education and training significantly influenced students? entrepreneurship behaviors for 31.4 %; 5) there was no correlation between learners? entrepreneurship learning achievement and entrepreneurship behaviors; 6) both the students? achievements and the entrepreneurship education and training affected the students? entrepreneurship behaviors for 8.1%; and 7) it was the entrepreneurship education which successfully improved the students? entrepreneurship behaviors at Public Vocational School 1 Cerme.Keywords: entrepreneurial attitudes, education and training, entrepreneurial learning achievementAbstrak:Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) sikap kewirausahaan peserta didik kelas 12 SMK N 1 Cerme dikategorikan sangat tinggi; 2) pelaksanaan pendidikan & pelatihan kewirausahaan termasuk pada kategori tinggi; 3) prestasi belajar kewirausahaan termasuk pada kategori tinggi; 4) terdapat pengaruh pendidikan & pelatihan kewirausahaan terhadap sikap kewirausahaan sebesar 31,4%; 5) tidak terdapat pengaruh prestasi belajar kewirausahaan terhadap sikap kewirausahaan; 6) pendidikan & pelatihan dan prestasi belajar kewirausahaan secara bersama-sama mempunyai pengaruh terhadap sikap kewirausahaan peserta didik SMK N 1 Cerme, sebesar 8,1%; dan 7) pelaksanaan pendidikan & pelatihan kewirausahaan yang dapat meningkatkan sikap kewirausahaan peserta didik SMK N 1 Cerme adalah pendidikan kewirausahaan. Abstract

Rufqotuz ZakhirohSD Muhammadiyah 2 Gresike-mail: yufro_zakhiroh@yahoo.comAbstract:This research uses descriptive qualitative method to describe the implementation of the policies of the Baldrige in SD Muhammadiyah 2 Gresik. The Implementation of the Baldrige categories that focus on three categories of Leadership, Workforce Focus, and the Operation Focus. The research results show; 1) aspects of leadership, researcher concluded the Headmaster has a strong enough commitment to direct the school component supports the implementation of policies through the establishment of policy implementation of the Baldrige, communication of policy implementation, continuous improvement, allocation the resources needed. The success of the policy implementation of Baldrige in SD Muhammadiyah 2 Gresik was also supported by the ability of Principals in integrating Baldrige with quality management systems which have already exist such as the Standards of National Education and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO 9001: 2008); 2) From Workforce Focus Categories, the school was able to build a conducive environment for the workforce to achieve high performance. Involving, managing and developing the workforce and taking advantages of all their potentials to be aligned with the vision, mission, strategy, and overall school work programmes; and 3) aspect of Operation Focus, the school is able to design, manage and improve the systems and processes of learning to give value to the students and stakeholders in order to achieve the success and sustainability of the school.Keywords: implementation, policy, malcolm baldrige education, performance excellenceAbstrak:Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif untuk menggambarkan implementasi kebijakan Baldrige di SD Muhammadiyah 2 Gresik. Implementasi Baldrige fokus pada tiga kategori yaitu Kategori Kepemimpinan, Fokus Tenaga Kerja, dan Fokus Operasi. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh gambaran bahwa 1) dari aspek kepemimpinan, peneliti menyimpulkan Kepala Sekolah memiliki komitmen yang cukup kuat untuk mengarahkan komponen sekolah mendukung implementasi kebijakan Baldrige melalui penetapan kebijakan implementasi, pengkomunikasian kebijakan implementasi, perbaikan terus-menerus, pengalokasian sumber daya yang dibutuhkan. Keberhasilan implementasi kebijakan Baldrige di SD Muhammadiyah 2 Gresik juga didukung oleh kemampuan Kepala Sekolah dalam mengintegrasikan Baldrige dengan system manajemen mutu yang sudah ada di sekolah yaitu Standar Nasional Pendidikan dan International Organization for Standardization (ISO 9001:2008); 2) Dari fokus tenaga kerja, sekolah mampu membangun lingkungan tenaga kerja yang kondusif serta mencapai kinerja tinggi. Sekolah melibatkan, mengelola, dan mengembangkan tenaga kerjanya dan memanfaatkan seluruh potensinya agar selaras dengan misi, strategi, dan program kerja sekolah secara menyeluruh; dan 3) Dari Fokus Operasi, sekolah mampu mendesain, mengelola dan meningkatkan sistem dan proses pembelajaran untuk memberikan nilai pada siswa dan stakeholders guna mencapai keberhasilan dan keberlangsungan sekolah.Kata kunci: implementasi, kebijakan, malcolm baldrige , performance excellence

The result revealed that the counseling and guidance programs at Public Senior High School 5 Malang have run well along with the monitoring and evaluation as well as the attempts made to improve the services.Keyword: orientation and information service, system management quality of ISO.Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis rencana kerja praktik bimbingan konseling layanan orientasi dan informasi, pelaksanaan monitoring dan evaluasi bimbingan konseling layanan orientasi dan informasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa rencana kerja praktik bimbingan konseling layanan orientasi dan informasi di SMA Negeri 5 Malang sudah berjalan baik, pelaksanaanya juga berjalan cukup baik, demikian juga dengan monitoring dan evaluasi, serta upaya peningkatan kinerja bimbingan konseling semuanya dapat dikatakan sudah berjalan dengan baikKata kunci: layanan orientasi dan informasi, sistem manajemen mutu ISO.

Abstract

Based on data analysis, the implementation of the daily report by filling out a book containing the items should be carried out by the students in one day. Students fill in the number 1 to items, which has been done and fill the number 0 for the undone items, the answers recap of students is then inserted into in an intranet application, which has been provided so students' progress can be monitored directly. Daily report can establish students? good habits because students are indirectly forced to do something positive constantly. From these positive habits, they can build students? character.Keywords: daily report, students? characterAbstrak:Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif untuk mendis-kripsikan implementasi daily report dalam pembentukan siswa berkarakter. Berdasarkan analisis data bahwa implementasi daily report dengan cara mengisi buku yang berisi item-item yang harus dikerjakan oleh siswa dalam satu hari, Siswa mengisi angka 1 untuk item yang dikerjakan dan mengisi angka 0 untuk yang tidak dikerjakan, rekap isian dari siswa ini kemudian dimasukkan ke dalam aplikasi intranet yang telah disediakan sehingga perkembangan siswa dapat dipantau secara langsung. Daily report ini dapat membentuk kebiasaan baik siswa karena secara tidak langsung siswa dipaksa untuk mengerjakan sesuatu yang positif secara terus menerus. Abstract

This aims to describe the analysis of policy implementation of character education in SD Taman Siswa, Turen which includes 1) understanding and describing the implementation of Character Education Policy in SD Taman Siswa, Turen, 2) understanding the constraints of the implementation of character education in SD Taman Siswa, Turen 3) finding out the school?s strategies to overcome the obstacles in the implementation of education character in SD Taman Siswa. The study was conducted over three months using a qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and review documents related to this research.. Techniques of data analysis by the presentation of data, data reduction and drawing conclusions. The data analysis begins by describing the findings during the study, then discussed objectively supported by theoretical studies. The conclusion of this study is the policy implementation of education character in SD Taman SiswaTuren run well although there are some constraints. The obstacles are including a lack of professionalism and spirit "Among" of the teachers, the negative effects of globalization to the students, and lack of role of parents and society in the policy implementation of character education. And to overcome these obstacles, do the strategies implemented by 1) increasing the professionalism and spirit "Among" the teacher, 2) implementing the methods of character education with the "ngerti, ngrasa, nglakoni", 3) strengthening the role of parents and communities by increasing the role of school committee.
