Abstract

This aims to describe the analysis of policy implementation of character education in SD Taman Siswa, Turen which includes 1) understanding and describing the implementation of Character Education Policy in SD Taman Siswa, Turen, 2) understanding the constraints of the implementation of character education in SD Taman Siswa, Turen 3) finding out the school?s strategies to overcome the obstacles in the implementation of education character in SD Taman Siswa. The study was conducted over three months using a qualitative approach. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and review documents related to this research.. Techniques of data analysis by the presentation of data, data reduction and drawing conclusions. The data analysis begins by describing the findings during the study, then discussed objectively supported by theoretical studies. The conclusion of this study is the policy implementation of education character in SD Taman SiswaTuren run well although there are some constraints. The obstacles are including a lack of professionalism and spirit "Among" of the teachers, the negative effects of globalization to the students, and lack of role of parents and society in the policy implementation of character education. And to overcome these obstacles, do the strategies implemented by 1) increasing the professionalism and spirit "Among" the teacher, 2) implementing the methods of character education with the "ngerti, ngrasa, nglakoni", 3) strengthening the role of parents and communities by increasing the role of school committee.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of implementing a multicultural Islamic educationapproach in enhancing literacy among teachers in community Islamic boarding schools. With thegrowing diversity in society, particularly within educational settings, it becomes imperative tofoster an inclusive educational environment that respects and integrates various culturalperspectives. The study adopts a qualitative research design and PAR (Participation ActionReasearch), employing interviews, observations, and document analysis to gather data. Theprinciple of PRA is action by, with, and for the people. Participants include teachers, andadministrators from selected community Islamic boarding schools. Findings indicate thatintegrating multicultural Islamic education principles promotes literacy development by fosteringa deeper understanding and appreciation of diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives.Moreover, it enhances critical thinking skills and promotes social cohesion among students. Thestudy underscores the importance of incorporating multicultural Islamic education approaches ineducational settings to cultivate literate and culturally competent individuals capable of thrivingin diverse societies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai pesantren melalui pengelolaan tiga kecerdasan manusia: spiritual, intelektual, dan emosional. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah kemerosotan karakter generasi muda Indonesia yang menuntut pendekatan pendidikan karakter yang holistik dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan teknik analisis konten terhadap teori-teori kecerdasan dan praktik pendidikan karakter di perguruan tinggi Islam berbasis pesantren. Temuan utama yang mengejutkan adalah kemampuan integrasi tiga kecerdasan manusia dalam pembelajaran, manajemen institusi, dan kegiatan kemahasiswaan yang secara sistemik memperkuat internalisasi karakter mahasiswa. Model ini terbukti membentuk aktor perubahan yang tidak hanya unggul secara intelektual, tetapi juga matang secara emosional dan spiritual, sebuah pendekatan yang lebih komprehensif dibandingkan model pendidikan karakter konvensional. Penelitian ini menyumbangkan perspektif baru dalam pendidikan karakter berbasis keislaman yang integratif dan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pengembangan kurikulum transformatif di perguruan tinggi Islam di Indonesia

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) menuntut integrasi antara kecerdasan kognitif, emosional, dan spiritual dalam menghadapi dinamika era digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model teknologi pembelajaran PAI berbasis kecerdasan emosional (EQ) dan nilai tauhid pada siswa kelas 3 Ulya Madrasah Diniyah An-Nur Malang. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes hasil belajar, skala EQ, serta angket respons siswa dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk pembelajaran yang dikembangkan valid, layak, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman PAI, pengelolaan emosi, serta internalisasi nilai tauhid. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi dapat menjadi instrumen strategis untuk memperkuat karakter Islami siswa secara holistik dan kontekstual sesuai tuntutan pendidikan abad ke-21

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development of character-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning technology at MTs NU Miftahul Huda Turen. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results show that MTs NU Miftahul Huda has a strong commitment to building students' Islamic character through the integration of Ahlussunnah wal Jama'ah Islamic values into the learning process, both curricularly and culturally. Learning strategies are developed through a combination of the national curriculum and NU-an, habituation of religious activities, teacher role models, and extracurricular activities that support values such as discipline, responsibility, and tolerance. Challenges faced include limited human resources and infrastructure, especially in the use of learning technology. Nevertheless, this madrasah is able to demonstrate positive transformation, seen in the improvement of students' spiritual character and academic and non-academic achievements. This study recommends strengthening teacher capacity and developing technological infrastructure to support character learning that is adaptive to changing times.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain how and what happened during the process of developing Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning technology based on character values at Al-Khozini Vocational School. This study demonstrates that the demand for innovative learning methods, including those in PAI subjects, is growing in the current technological era. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach to demonstrate how teachers utilize technology, including interactive media, learning applications, and digital platforms, to instill character values such as honesty, responsibility, and discipline in their students. The results of the study indicate that the use of technology in learning. In addition, the use of technology makes learning more interesting, effective, and in line with the new generation of digital education. This study recommends that the development of learning technology must continue to be carried out sustainably to support quality and character-based PAI learning.   Keywords: Technology Development, Islamic Religious Education, Character.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Ummi Method in SDI Kartika Nawa Turen Malang. The student’s achievement, the advantages and the weakness of Ummi method. This study is qualitative research by using some instruments: observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this study are the implementation of Ummi method based on ten pillar: goodwill management, teacher certification, stage good and true, clear and measurable targets, mastery consistent learning, adequate time, ratio proportional teachers and students, internal control and externally, progress reports for each student and reliable coordinator. Students’ studies Quran based on their grades after having a placement test. The advantage of the Ummi method is that the teachers get easily in teaching Qur an because there is a guideness learning and teaching process. Besides, there is controlling from three external and internal. The weakness of Ummi method in SDI Kartika Nawa is the lackness of Ummi teachers and the amount of cost in the implementation of Ummi method.

Abstract

One of the frequent challenges Raudlatul Ulum Junio High School faces is the minimal attitude of care and compliance of students in doing the tasks received from teachers. As an educator, overcoming the existing challenges and implementing a decent solution to solve them is vital. The key is placed to hold a Taftisyul Kutub, where passing the Taftisyul Kutub examination is a prerequisite for following the written test. This research aims to examine in depth the implementation of the Taftisyul Pole and the skills that students generate from its performance. Qualitative research uses a participatory qualitative approach, where data collection techniques include observations, interviews, and documentation. Data is then analyzed based on data reduction components, data measurement, conclusion drawings, and verification to determine its validity using triangulation. The researchers' findings suggest that Taftisyul Polub is a strategy to reduce student disobedience. As for the skills acquired by students from the Taftisyul Kutub maintenance, that is, the development of collaborative skills, improved student understanding, the development of speaking and opinion skills, motivation, and student involvement.

Abstract

Resistance Ki Hadjar Dewantara in pioneering independence through a political movement or through character-based education is done by making the language as a fulcrum ofpengthe strugglemotion. Language is used as a tool to instill national character and language as a means to achieve independence discourse. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to know and understand Ki Hadjar Dewantara thinking about language and character education in view of Critical Theory Habermas. Habermas critical theory is a critical theory of communicative paradigm. In addition, to know how the language and character education undertaken Ki Hadjar Dewantara affects the movement's struggle for independence in Indonesia so as to become a sovereign state and is able to align with other nations in the world. Language and Character Education by Ki Hadjar Dewantara is very substantial for the existence and civilization of a nation. Speaking of character education the existence of a nation that is sovereign, independent, and self-sufficient should be based on a solid spiritual foundation that is reflected in the values of the character of the nation, especially character "independent physically and mentally", which with the true freedom can be realized. The cultural action carried out by Ki Hadjar Dewantara is not only critical discourse and arguments there but it can be said Ki Hadjar Dewantara's communicative action is called spiritual discourse. Dirkursus is called a spiritualist who for all communicative action, Ki Hadjar Dewantara both in education in the Park students and the people of Indonesia always based on spirituality. Thus, character education Taman Siswa which can be thought of as Ki Hadjar Dewantara is a true cultural action with one way that spiritual discourse. Abstract

Background: Innovation in learning evaluation systems is essential in response to the digital transformation within the field of education. This necessity also applies to Islamic Religious Education (PAI), which plays a strategic role in shaping students' religious character. However, the implementation of Computer-Based Testing (CBT) in Islamic-based educational institutions remains suboptimal. Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of CBT and analyze how students' perceptions of CBT correlate with their academic achievement in PAI at SMP Islam Sawahan Turen. Method: A quantitative approach with a descriptive-correlational design was employed. Closed-ended questionnaires and objective tests were used to measure students’ perceptions and obtain primary data. A stratified random sampling method was applied to select a sample of ninety students. All research instruments met statistical requirements based on validity and reliability tests. Data analysis revealed that students’ perceptions of CBT fell into the high category, with average scores across all items exceeding 4.00. Students also demonstrated strong cognitive performance, with an average PAI score of 78.44. Pearson correlation analysis indicated a positive and significant relationship between students’ perceptions of CBT and their academic achievement (r = 0.531; p < 0.05). Result: These findings suggest that CBT is an effective tool for evaluation and contributes to improved academic outcomes. Conclusion: This study supports the development of digital assessments aligned with PAI values and encourages the integration of technology in character-based education.
