Abstract

The cause of the low level of education in Indonesia, especially in students' literacy and numeracy skills, is the limited learning media used in schools. The aim of this research is to develop Pop-Up Book-based learning media to improve the literacy and numeracy skills of students at SD Negeri Cisarua 01, Bogor Regency. The ADDIE model consisting of the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation is used as a research method. The data analysis technique used is the descriptive analysis technique. The data analyzed includes media suitability data from media experts and material experts as well as responses from students as test subjects. This Pop-Up Book media has a material validity level of 80%, and media validity of 88%. The effectiveness of the Pop-Up Book learning media from the students' pre-test and post-test showed that the value of tcount > ttable (12.786 > 2.056) and was significant 0.000 < 0.05, so Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in learning outcomes before and after the application of Pop-Up Book-based learning media in the introduction of plane shapes and space shapes. To see the increase in the calculated Gain Test, the average result obtained was 0.6688 and was in the medium category. Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This disease represents a significant global public health challenge. Consequently, a stochastic differential equation model of tuberculosis has been developed. In this context, an analysis examines the impact of complete treatment on the disease-free population distribution, duration of disease-free status, and the probability of remaining disease-free. The analysis shows that as the rate of complete treatment increases, the probability of achieving disease-free status rises, the duration of remaining disease-free shortens, and the number of disease-free individuals grows over time. Abstract

Gumelem batik is batik made by the people of Gumelem Village, Susukan District, Banjarnegara Regency, One of the typical Gumelem batik producers who still maintains the traditional method making batik is the “Wardah” batik house owned by Mr. Budi Triono. The typical motifs of this batik are the sekar jagad motif, the udan liris motif, the arjuna temple motif, and the dawet ayu banjarnegara motif. Batik cloth culture has been recognized as an intangible world heritage, but its benefits are limited to the cloth. It is still rare for people to use batik culture as a mathematics learning medium. Mathematics that combines cultural concepts with mathematical elements is called ethnomathematics. In this research, typical Gumelem batik motifs will be discussed mathematically using the concept of geometric transformation. The method used descriptive-qualitative, with an ethnographic approach. The result of the research is that, for several typical Gumelem motifs analyzed, it turns out that all of three motifs contain mathematical elements, namely geometric transformation. This research is aimed at developing mathematics teaching materials based on the culture of Gumelem village. Keywords: Ethnomathematics, Batik Gumelem, Geometric Transformation
