ANALISIS: Jurnal Studi Keislaman adalah jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh IAIN Raden Intan Lampung dengan nomor ISSN: 2088-9046. ANALISIS terbit 2 (dua) kali dalam setahun (Juli dan Desember), dengan mengangkat tema tertentu per nomornya sesuai dengan pembidangan studi Islam secara luas. Dalam hal ini, ANALISIS menekankan spesifikasi pada pemaparan Islam dan isu-isu kontemporer ditinjau dari berbagai aspek dan pendekatan studi Islam. Abstract

The diversity of socio-religious constructions of menstruation and sexuality in 7th-century Medina society demonstrates the discursive relationship between early Islam and Jewish traditions regarding the female body, chastity, and sexual relations. The main problem of this research is how QS. Al-Baqarah [2]: 222–223 reshapes the meaning of menstruation, regulates bodily authority, and constructs sexual ethics of husband and wife in the context of Islamic-Jewish discourse relations. This research uses a literature study with a qualitative-historical approach and Michel Foucault's discourse analysis, specifically the archaeology of knowledge, genealogy, and technologies of the self. The main data are sourced from QS. Al-Baqarah [2]: 222–223, the asbāb al-nuzūl narrative, hadith, classical-contemporary interpretations, and Leviticus 15:19–33 as a comparative text. The research findings show that the Qur'an shifts the construction of menstruation from ritual impurity to adhā, a biological condition that requires ethical regulation without social exclusion. This verse also establishes the normative authority of Islam over the body and sexuality, while simultaneously shaping the Muslim subject who internalizes purity through the control of desire and ṭahārah. The novelty of this article lies in the reading of QS. Al-Baqarah [2]: 222–223 as a discursive text in the relationship between Islamic and Jewish discourse, thus expanding the study of interpretation from a normative-fiqh approach to a historical-sociological analysis of the body, sexuality, and the formation of the early Muslim religious subject.

Abstract

The Naqshbandiyah Sufism is a Sufi tradition that has a significant influence on the spiritual, educational, and social life of Muslim communities. However, the development of scientific studies on the Naqshbandiyah Sufism remains scattered, partial, and has not been systematically synthesized. This study aims to map the direction of study development, dominant themes, methodological approaches, and research gaps in the study of the Naqshbandiyah Sufism. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach with reference to the PRISMA framework through the stages of identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion of articles. Data were obtained from scientific journal articles for the period 2020–2025 through Google Scholar and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). From the selection process, five articles were obtained that met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed using thematic synthesis. The research findings indicate five main theme clusters: spirituality, education, social, values, and the dynamics and development of the Sufism. This research contributes to strengthening the study of Sufism and contemporary Islamic studies through directed conceptual mapping and offers a further research agenda that is more interdisciplinary, comparative, and responsive to changes in modern Muslim society.
