ANALISIS: Jurnal Studi Keislaman adalah jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh IAIN Raden Intan Lampung dengan nomor ISSN: 2088-9046. ANALISIS terbit 2 (dua) kali dalam setahun (Juli dan Desember), dengan mengangkat tema tertentu per nomornya sesuai dengan pembidangan studi Islam secara luas. Dalam hal ini, ANALISIS menekankan spesifikasi pada pemaparan Islam dan isu-isu kontemporer ditinjau dari berbagai aspek dan pendekatan studi Islam. Redaksi mengundang akademisi, pakar, dan peminat bidang kajian keislaman untuk berkonstribusi mengirimkan artikel ilmiah hasil penelitian, refleksi dan kajian serius, juga timbangan buku yang sesuai dengan tema tiap nomor, baik karya klasik maupun kontemporer.

Abstract

Gender, human rights, and the advancement of science and technology with all their problems are some interesting and highly discussed contemporary issues, especially when they are related to Islamic teachings. This is inseparable from some people’s lack of understanding of Islamic teachings and baseless accusations of Islam as being old-fashioned on such contemporary issues. So, the basic question is how Islam views these issues. This study is library research with data analyzed using the maqāshid sharī’ah (objectives of Islamic law) approach. The findings of this study indicate that Islam upholds human rights; places gender issues proportionally while guaranteeing the dignity of each gender without discrimination, and encourages humans to develop, promote, and utilize science and technology as much as possible while still referring to moral reasoning in its utilization.

Abstract

The role of ijtihad and fatwa in Indonesia has undergone a transformation over time. This transformation is reflected in the adoption of several binding regulations (legal binding) based on the results of ijtihad and fatwas issued by competent authority institutions. This process reflects the evolution of the role of ijtihad and fatwa in forming the legal basis that applies, provides direction, and binds Indonesian society. This research is qualitative research with a normative legal approach accompanied by a literature review. The data analysis used is content analysis. The research findings show that the process of legalizing ijtihad and fatwa as binding rules is one option in responding to problems. However, not all of these efforts are able to provide comprehensive solutions to every problem, and sometimes they can even give rise to new debates and problems amidst the diversity of Indonesian society.

Abstract

The study investigates the significant impact of identity politics in contemporary Islam on political and social stability, considering the crucial role of media and communication in such dynamics. This study uses a literature study method that involves an integrative and comprehensive analysis of literature to collect, review, and analyze various sources of relevant information. The study results stated that identity politics in contemporary Islam is central to shaping political and social dynamics worldwide. By influencing the perceptions and actions of individuals and groups, identity politics in Islam can significantly impact political and social stability within a country, especially in intergroup tensions. In addition, the role of media and communication has also proved crucial in shaping the image and narrative of Islamic identity politics, both positively and negatively. Therefore, a deep understanding of the complexities of identity politics in Islam and concerted efforts to promote mutual understanding, dialogue, and peace are key to confronting the challenges of identity politics in contemporary Islam.

Abstract

This research addresses the pressing global issue of sexual harassment by examining its prevalence and underlying factors. Drawing on international data, our study reveals alarming rates of sexual harassment in various contexts, emphasizing its urgency. Employing a descriptive analysis method, the research investigates the motives and consequences of this behavioral deviation. Findings underscore the roles of education, economics, and the absence of a proper Islamic perspective on sexuality in perpetuating harassment. Educational institutions emerge as pivotal in both occurrence and prevention, while media portrayal of women and insufficient sexual education contribute to societal deviations. The study highlights the multifaceted impact of harassment on mental well-being and advocates for effective punitive measures to curb sexual deviancy and restore social harmony.

Abstract

The study of the typology of ulul albab as an ideal human character in Islam is an important aspect in understanding the concept of spirituality and wisdom in religion. In the Qur'an, ulul albab is described as an individual who reaches a level of perfection in his thinking activities, reflected in the depth of his spirituality and wisdom in living life. By considering a psychological perspective on human thinking activities, this study aims to explore the meaning and implications of the ulul albab typology in the context of human life. Through a descriptive qualitative approach and library research, data was collected from various relevant reading sources. The data analysis process uses a flowing data analysis method, including reading, recording, processing and concluding. The findings show that thinking involves the entire human personality, explained in the Qur'an. The integration of the Ulul Albab typology in Islam highlights the importance of thinking activities as a basis for devotion and wisdom. In the modern era, Al-Qur'an-based education emphasizing the development of the Ulul Albab character through thinking activities can be a relevant solution in forming an intelligent and devout generation. This study contributes to enriching understanding of thinking activities within a psychological framework and Islamic teachings.

Abstract

The study of the relationship between religion and the state, especially within the framework of marriage law, is essential in the Indonesian context which has cultural and religious diversity. This research was driven by the need to understand the complexity of the Constitutional Court's interpretation of religious and constitutional principles in regulating marriage. This research is qualitative research and includes normative legal research with a statutory approach. The data analysis method used is content analysis, key decisions of the Constitutional Court which are related to this research. The findings show variations in the Constitutional Court's interpretation of religious and constitutional principles, both emphasizing equality and freedom of religion and strengthening religious norms in marriage laws. The implications of these findings detail the complex dynamics between legal policies, religious values, and constitutional aspects, highlighting the need to maintain a balance between religious principles and the protection of individual rights.

Abstract

The Formation of Regional Regulations in Indonesia, including in Lampung Province, is an integral part of the government's efforts to regulate community life effectively and efficiently. Islamic legal values have become an important factor influencing the formation of regional regulations (Perda). Lampung Province, one of Indonesia's regions rich in cultural and religious diversity, demonstrates significant adoption of Islamic legal aspects in various local regulations. This research is a normative legal study based on literature with a legislative approach and legal interpretation analysis. The data analysis method used is content analysis. The results show that Islamic law significantly influences the formation of regional regulations in Lampung Province. This is reflected in several regional regulations that adopt Islamic law principles in various aspects of community life. The internalization of Islamic legal values in these regional regulations is concrete evidence of the adaptation and harmonization between Islamic law and the national legal context in Indonesia. This research implies the importance of considering religious aspects in formulating regional legal policies to achieve social justice and harmony among communities with various backgrounds and beliefs.

Abstract

Ethnic harmony is a significant challenge in the context of religious and cultural diversity, especially in regions with abundant ethnic and cultural wealth such as Aceh. Private Islamic religious universities in Aceh have a crucial role in facilitating inter-ethnic dialogue and promoting religious moderation as a foundation for ethnic harmony. Based on this, this study is interesting for further study in promoting religious moderation and building inter-ethnic harmony. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis model with a phenomenological approach as a framework and analytical method. Data sources consist of secondary and primary data obtained through in-depth interviews with lecturers and students from research subjects. The findings show that private Islamic religious universities in Aceh have a role in facilitating inter-ethnic dialogue and promoting religious moderation as a foundation for ethnic harmony. Through educational programs and extracurricular activities, as well as the establishment of the Religious Moderation House (RMB), the college provides space for open discussions about religious and cultural differences, encourages inclusive attitudes, and broadens cross-cultural horizons among students.

Abstract

Digital tourism and the use of local wisdom in marine tourism are integral parts of the tourism destination promotion strategy. By utilizing digital technology and local values, the promotion of marine tourism destinations can be carried out more effectively. The use of social media, tourism websites, and various travel applications is a means to expand the reach of information to potential tourists. Lampung has great tourism potential, especially in the marine tourism sector, but requires an integration between digital technology and local wisdom to maximize this potential. This research highlights the importance of harmonization between technological advances and the preservation of local culture in the context of Lampung tourism. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with an interdisciplinary approach of literature study. Thematic analysis and content analysis are used to ensure the validity of the data and draw conclusions. The results of the study show that through the analysis of digital tourism practices and local wisdom, this study emphasizes the importance of maintaining environmental and cultural sustainability in the development of Lampung tourism. The integration of Maqashid Shari'ah in digital tourism is expected to bring economic benefits, positive impacts to local communities, and environmental sustainability in the development of marine tourism in Lampung.

Abstract

A paradigm shift in choosing not to have children (childfree) occurred in the communities of Lampung and West Java as well as in other areas. On the one hand, this choice is recognized as the right of every individual guaranteed by statutory regulations, on the other hand, this is considered not fully in accordance with one of the goals of marriage, procreation. Based on this, this problem becomes interesting to study in more depth in order to understand the phenomenon of childfree from the perspective of Human Rights (HAM) and maqashid shari'ah. The research method used is a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach, with data sources coming from childfree practitioners, books and scientific articles. The research results found that childfree practitioners choose not to have children based on various factors, such as economics, mental health, personal considerations, outlook on life, and environmental factors. From a human rights perspective, childfree is permitted because every individual has the right to privacy, including in making decisions about their personal and family lives, as mandated in Article 12 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. However, from the maqashid shari'ah point of view, childfree in normal husband and wife conditions is contrary to Islamic teachings because one of the goals of Islamic law is to preserve offspring.
