Abstract

The researchers found that students could not understand the text well due to lack of vocabulary and lack of variety in color, and the way tables are presented. Consequently, students found it difficult and unmotivated to learn Arabic. For this reason, the researchers want to develop a book with a pictorial dictionary. This study aimed to determine the validity and ability to develop a book with a pictorial dictionary. This research uses the R&D (Research and Development) method, including direct observation, questionnaires, and tests as the research instruments. Researchers took 30 students of class IX-1 as the sample. The researcher used the T-test formula from the SPSS program and an expert assessment questionnaire for the data analysis. Furthermore, the study found that the development of the Pictorial Dictionary is valid according to expert assessment at 80.89% and 91.7%. Also, the results obtained were that pictorial dictionaries effectively improved students' abilities in understanding words (mufradat) and Arabic texts. Based on the results of the value of Sig. 0.00 <0.05. This result shows that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted.

Abstract

An analysis of the concepts of intoxication in blood and the required amount of alcohol to reach that level was analyzed from physiological and religious perspectives. The exact value of potentially allowed alcohol concentration was determined. The results indicate a BAC of 0.05% (w/v) as a set level for intoxication.  The determined pure alcohol amount required to reach this level was 27 g (for a 70 kg female) at least.  Accordingly, the determined allowed alcohol concentration is 0.45% (w/v) for what would be considered non-intoxicating.  This was compared to published results regarding the reported alcohol content of various foods and drinks. A sensitivity analysis was conducted to allow for variation in the considered BAC and the corresponding alcohol concentration in drinks.  An analysis of alcohol content in various cooked foods showed an interesting spread in the alcohol content. A review of set legal limits in some Islamic countries is recommended.

Abstract

The researched Hadith of Prophet Muhammad SAW about Rajab fasting was a narrated hadith of Ibn ‘Abbas booked by Muslim. In hadith above, there were some narrators/rawi such as Abu Bakr Ibn Aby Shaybah, Abd Allah Ibn Numair, Uthman Ibn Hakim al Ansari, Sa’id Ibn Jubayr and Abd Allah Ibn ‘Abbas. In his partial analyses, there were some conclusions that: 1. All of narrators that involved in Hadith sanad were qualified: 2. Thiqa, All the narrators met with another narrators as the teachers: 3. And the hadith matan was free from shadh aspect: 4. The hadith matan was free from illat. So it can be concluded that narrated hadiths of Anas Ibn Malik which were collected by Muslim were qualified (sahih). In simultaneous analyzes, found that that hadith had 4 (four) tabi’ qasir. Because all of the narrators who were narrated by Muslim were thiqah qualified and the sanad connectivity was also muttasil, so the present of 4 tabi’ ´hadiths couldn’t improve the quality of main hadith sanad or mutaba’ that had been sahih in quality. Later on, simultaneously, that hadith had 4 (four) shahid ma’nawi hadiths. Those hadiths were narrated by 4 (four) different friends, as: Sa’id Ibn Sa’id, Anas Ibn Malik, ‘Abd Allah Ibn ‘Umar, and Abi Dharr. So the hadith of Rajab fasting had been narrated by 5 (five) friends. Thus, quantitatively, those hadiths improved to be mashhur (ahad mashhur) because they were narrated by five friends.

Sufism, as a purification step to reach the Allah. The spiritual experience gained by sa'lik when meeting and union with Allah (individual-transcendental values) should be felt also by others. The transmission of spiritual experience is implemented in empirical life (socio-empirical values) as a form of practicing and teaching a loving Islam, so that the concept of rahmatan lil 'alamin can be felt by all creatures. The process of attaining the maqam requires clarity of heart; peace of mind, mind and environment; as well as sincerity amaliyah. Awareness to negate the existence of self (‘alam nasut) and purify the existence of divinity (‘alam lahut) in self as a form of preparation to accept the holiness of the Khaliq. It is this doctrine of purity that should be practiced and spread by the salik and perceived by all beings to create goodness in the universe. Goodness that does not look to ethnic, religious, ethnic, and state boundaries. Universal goodness as the real essence of Islam rahmatan lil a'lamin.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine: (1) knowing Allah as the primary basis noble character education, (2) the method to integrate knowing Allah in nurturing students with noble character, (3) the function of knowing Allah in the formation of noble character, (4) the goal of developing knowing Allah in the improvement of noble character. This study takes the form of literature studies (library research), The findings of the study indicate: (1) knowing Allah as the primary basis of noble character education, to know Allah is the obligation of every human being, as mentioned in al-Qur’an and al-Sunnah, because by knowing Allah then people will know themselves. According to al-Ghazali, a person would not be able to achieve a degree of knowing Allah before he knows himself. Thus, the ability of human to achieve the degree of knowing Allah depends on his ability to know himself. (2) Methods for the integration of noble character in coaching students. First, the coaching. Through the coaching of this character it can be seen how the Islamic attention to the development of the soul should take precedence over physical development, because in this good soul will be born good deeds that in the next step will facilitate to produce goodness and happiness to all human life, both physically and spiritually. Second, the habituation. Al-Ghazali explains that habituation method is performed by repeating the experience in doing something that leaves good impressions in the soul. Third, exemplary. Exemplary method proposed by al-Ghazali is a series of conformity with the concept of educational methods applied by other experts, both in the past and present, and this exemplary method is always relevant and actual to date as well as highly relevant to the method of Islamic education. (3) the function of knowing God in the formation of a noble character. As the science of the most high and noble rank in comparison with the knowledge that exist in this world, then this knowing Allah presumably can be a principal focus and commitment that must be understood and considered by every human being, the results will be delivered to the happiness of man, salvation, tranquility and peace of body and soul, as well as the delights and pleasures of worship to Allah. (4) The purpose of the increase of knowing Allah in the development of noble character is as a director that will direct the orientation of the life of a Muslim.
