The presence of this journal is intended to respond to and inform the development of current academic issues related to Islamic studies. The Universal Human Rights is one of the most intrigued issues and often hotly being discussed around the globe. The issue seems never escape from media. This is not because the Human Rights is irrelevant to the human being, rather its value isessential. Several countries, for example, shift human rights discourses when drafting certain bill before passing it to citizens. The international agreement also, like UN Resolution, and other international laws, often taking the human rights value into account before exercising it. All of these facts highlighted that the Universal Human Rights is an important principle to be integrated within the global citizens.

Qarinah as evidence leading to a conviction has been used by judges as the consideration basis in resolving a case. Its uses as evidence is still controversial especially in Fiqh. This is not the case in positive law as positive laws are regulated by a nation. The most important part of qarinah as evidence is how the results of technological advancements such as DNA could be used as qarinah. Positive law seems to have adopted DNA as qarinah so as to use it in imposing a legal decision. In reference to the Islamic law, can a DNA technology be used as qarinah? Apparently further research regarding this topic is required. This article discusses fundamental arguments for possible adoption of DNA as qarinah evidence.

Faculty of Islamic Theology and Communication have an important position as a scientific core or basic sciences in Islamic study that have a strategic role both in the development of Islamic knowledge or in character building. However, it is a reality, Theology is a faculty that has fewer students than other faculties. But in fact, they had good quality. In this regard, the revitalization and empowerment at the facultyof Islamic Theology is an urgent matter. The article is focused on the search and analyze the existence of the Islamic Theology and communication department of Islamic State of Sultan MaulanaHasanuddin, both in terms of its strengths and weaknesses, as well as the expectations and the challenges it faced. Therefore, thisstudy included internal institutional and academic aspects and society's view toward the existence of the Islamic Theology and Communication Department.

This article discusses the ideological meaning of literacy and how it should be considered before we attempt to develop various writing programs. Writing as one of main forms of human communication is prone to being ill-defined. This may lead to certain injustices in our education world, especially when literacy is not defined or seen as an ideological concept. The most familiar example of this in a learning context is that we tend to view literacy as reading and writing ignoring other values and potentials that a learner brings to a classroom such as her socio-cultural background. In the face of such challenges, this article therefore presents a conceptual framework which could serve as a reminder for educators before they attempt to develop their various education programs. The author hopes that the article would help educators determine where they should stand along this imaginary continuum of ideological literacy.

The aim of this paper is to explain Islamic education in the study of Islamic Psychology. Islamic psychology is a study approach to understanding human psychology and behavior based on the concept of monotheism, by means of integration between science and faith. Islamic psychology is a form of psychology that is based on the image of man in Islam, study the uniqueness and the patterns of human behavior as an expression of the experience of interaction with oneself, the environment, and the spiritual realm with the aim of improving the mental health and quality of religious life, and reaching happiness of life in the world and the hereafter. One effort to rebuild human civilization and refinement of the concept of human behavior that is educated and understand the concepts of education in Islam, as well as the refinement of the soul that is filled with faith it can be discussed in the study of the science of Psychology Islam which is based on the Qur'an and Hadis. In Islamic education has laid the foundations of the Qur'an concerning the objectives of Islamic education and materials that should be taught in Islamic education. The materials will be delivered using methods that should be attractive and essential issue in order to achieve the expected goals of Islamic education. Based on so tightly between tasks Islamic psychology with emphasis on the soul of this very influential in the science of Islamic education. Pure soul must be easy to accept and apply the concepts of Islamic education that is based on the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad. On top of this pillar was built two basic concepts of Islamic education. The starting point here starts from the concept of man in Islam.

Breastfeeding is a mother's nature, but in a mother's condition as a drug addict, it can endanger her baby because drugs can be excreted into breast milk. This is the problem and the purpose of this study is how the law of breastfeeding drug addicts mother both from a medical perspective or a review of maqāshid al-syarī’ah. This research uses qualitative research methods that are descriptive in nature, namely a research method that aims to form a clear, systematic, factual and accurate picture of breastfeeding and the dangers of breastfeeding being contaminated with drugs. The type of research used is library research (library research), which is collecting data or scientific work in accordance with the object of research or collection of library data to solve a problem which basically rests on a critical and in-depth study of relevant library materials. The results showed that if the mother is a drug addict, breastfeeding is prohibited, in this case sadd al-żarī‘ah takes a role because breastfeeding is a means (wasilah) for the entry of drugs into the body. babies, whereas from medical science it is explained that babies who are exposed to drugs through breast milk cause symptoms of poisoning, withdrawal and have the potential to affect cognitive development when they are adults. Al-kulliyat al-khams sees something that is a primary need (dharuriyyah) in a child who is still an infant is keeping the child physically healthy (hiifz al-nafs) and reason (hifz al-aql) as for the benefit by continuing to provide breast milk so that the baby's nutrition is fulfilled in that condition is a secondary need (hajiyyah). So the stipulation of haram law based on sadd al-żarī'ah about breastfeeding for drug addicts mother is in line with maqashid asy-syari‘ah, namely to protect the soul (hifz al-nafs) and reason (hifz al-aql).

The study aims to strengthen the role of school in transforming Acehcustoms. Schools as an official formal education institution, dealing with twoissues namely their feelings cannot be ignored between customs and culture is acase that should be maintained continuously, and schools have to collide withsystem reining the power of cruising and creativity of education institutions indeveloping the value of custom. In addition, schools have a desire to interpretAceh customary by themselves. Those things are done in two issues; First, thelack of teacher understanding customs well and perfectly. Secondly, lowsupported funding supporting every work in revitalization of custom. Kajian mendalam terhadap filsafat ketuhanan dan tasauf tergolong kajian serius. Ahmad Daudy termasuk salah seorang yang mengkaji persoalan-persoalan tersebut secara serius. Tujuan penelitian ini ingin mengetahui konsep filsafat ketuhanan dan tasauf melalui karya tulis Ahmad Daudy. Sebagai penelitian kualitatif, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penelusuran kepustakaan guna menemukan data-data yang dibutuhkan untuk keperluan penelitian. Adapun hasil penelitian yang didapatkan, bahwa Ahmad Daudy dalam membahas konsep filsafat ketuhanan mendasarkan pemikirannya pada Alquran, pendapat filsuf, dan pendapat teolog Islam, hal ini sangat beralasan karena ada beberapa persoalan dan dianggap rumit untuk dijelaskan seperti hubungan antara sifat Allah dengan zat-Nya. Sehingga masalah ini tetap menjadi pokok sengketa yang sangat mendasar antara sesama umat Islam dalam upaya memahami zat dan sifat Tuhan. Menurut Ahmad Daudy, sekiranya umat Islam tidak mempertanyakan masalah ini dan bersikap tafwid dan tanzih menyerahkan hal itu kepada Allah Swt, seperti yang diperlihatkan oleh para ulama salaf terdahulu, maka perbedaan pendapat yang mengarah ke permusuhan sesama umat Islam tidak akan terjadi. Mengenai tasauf, Ahmad Daudy berpendapat, bahwa tasauf tidak dikenal dalam generasi awal Islam, tasauf datang pada umat Islam dengan jalan hidayah. Pada abad ke 8 dan 9 M tasauf mulai dinyatakan sebagai suatu sistem ajaran. Dan dalam perkembangannya menjadi sangat filosofis dan konseptual. Tauhid dalam tasauf sifatnya ontologis, sehingga dalam memahaminya memiliki tingkatan-tingkatan, yaitu antara yang dipahami orang awam dan orang sufi.

Di Indonesia, bitcoin merupakan bentuk mata uang digital (e-money) dan alat transaksi pembayaran yang sudah digunakan oleh sebagian masyarakat. Hal tersebutperlu mendapatkan perhatian, khususnya dari Bank Indonesia. Lain dari pada itu,pengawasan yang dulu sepenuhnya dilakukan oleh bank sentral yaitu BankIndonesia, sekarang diambil alih oleh OJK (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan). Sehingga BankIndonesia pun hanya memiliki wewenang untuk mengatur dan mengontrolperedaran mata uang saja. Sejak sebagian tugas dan wewenang Bank Indonesiadiambil alih oleh OJK (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan), banyak hal yang belum tercoverseperti adanya fenomena baru dalam bidang keuangan dalam hal permodalan,investasi, peredaran mata uang, dan lain-lain. Selain belum ada payung hukumterhadap bitcoin, yaitu semakin merebaknya transaksi yang menggunakan bitcoinyang dilakukan dalam transaksi e-commerce. Sehingga dari segi keamananannyajuga perlu dipertanyakan, maka dari itu perlu ada regulasi dan pengawasan secarakhusus terhadap bitcoin, dan masyarakat tidak akan merasa dirugikan. Jika dilihatdalam perspektif hukum Islam, bahwa yang berkaitan dengan penerbitan uangsebagai alat transaksi di suatu negara, merupakan masalah yang dilindungi olehkaidah-kaidah umum dalam syari’at Islam. Oleh sebab itu, penerbitan uang danpenentuan jumlahnya merupakan hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan kemaslahatanumat. Aspek lain yang menjadi pertimbangan dalam penggunaan bitcoin yaituapakah dari sisi kemadharatannya yang lebih besar ataukah manfaatnya yang diambiljika digunakan sebagai mata uang dan alat transaksi, bahkan sebagai komoditassekalipun. Sehingga yang menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaanbitcoin sebagai mata uang (currency) dan alat transaksi dengan menggunakanpendekatan dan pengkajian hukum Islam.
