Abstract

Based on the records of the Ministry of Public Works, the number of contractors in Indonesia reaches 180 thousand companies. This number tripled compared with companies in Chinese State. The large number of companies lead to unfair competition in the construction business so would be contrary to the principles of procurement: efficient, effective, transparent, open, competitive, fair/non-discriminatory, and accountable. This study aims to analyze disparities of bid prices to Owner’s Estimate (OE), case studies of public procurementwithin Pemerintah Kabupaten Kampar, specifically on road and bridge work packages.

Abstract

In this globalization, companies are have to increase productivity in order to produce maximum output. In this case, especially system productivity company. Smoothness system or production process is supported by many aspects, one of which is the aspect of reliability of existing machinery or equipment in the production system.In palm oil mills, there are two processing stations and processing of palm fruit processing palm kernel. Palm kernel oil processing systems, among others, Pressing, Nut fiber, Depricarper, Polishing drum, cyclone Nut, Nut hoper, Ripple mill, LTDS 1 & 2, Claybath. To increase the productivity of these systems need to be an appropriate activity treatment on the machine or equipment, in an effort to increase conduction reliability of the equipment in the system kernel oil processing. For it is necessary for treatment planning method RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) using qualitative analysis where the RCM method can determine the identification of critical equipment and components, optimum care, treatment and consequences of activity intervals failures in machinery or equipment or core processing system palm on palm oil mills company.

Abstract

Reservoirs in the wet tropics generally have a fairly rapid sedimentation problems. Not infrequently happens that has begun to operate reservoirs showed symptoms of increased sedimentation. This paper aims to find and solve problems that arise due to the high rate of sedimentation and deposition in the Koto Panjang reservoir hydropower, Riau province in an effort to preserve the continuity of electric energy in Riau Province. Method approach taken to describe the pattern of relationship between flow rate, sedimentation and the characteristics of the reservoir as a basis for watershed management in the upstream using regression equations developed by Singh and Chen (1982). The results of the investigation show that the land area (Af) in the upstream has a dominant influence on the rate of annual sediment entering the Koto Panjang reservoir hydropower. For the reduction of land area by 15%, an increase in the volume of sediment from 1.4 million m3 to 11.4 million m3.

Abstract

The objectives of the research was to analyze the irigation water requirement of Sungai Sawah Irrigation Area based on the climatic data. The amount of irrigation water requirement for paddy was determined by some factor such as the water requirement for land preparation, plant growth, percolation and seepage, water level replacement, and effective rainfall.The result of research proved that crops water requirement (ETc) for this area was range from 3.63 mm/day to 4,14 mm/day. The highest of preference evapotranspiration (ETo) was found on February I 4,40 mm/day for paddy. For the planting pattern scenario of paddy-paddy-paddy, the maximum irrigation water requirement were found on Januari II (0.04 m3/sec.ha) for PS I, Mei II (0.11 m3/sec.ha) for PS II and September II (0,07 m3/sec.ha) for PS III. The irrigation requirement was basically able to be fulfilled by effective rainfall.

Abstract

Squeeze casting Al-Si casting is the process whereby the liquid Al-Si metal recycling frozen under high pressure so that it will reduce the amount of porosity defects,but tends to experience hot cracking.Parameter of the silicon content of recycled aluminum, cast and mold temperature affects the occurrence of hot cracks in the thin cast body.This study aims to analyze the influence of silicon content, casting and mold temperature on the occurrence of hot cracking in squeeze casting process of thin aluminum recycled objects so that preventive action can be done on the production process.This squeeze casting using hydraulic pressure 135 MPa.Temperatures used are220, 275 and 3300C for mold and 665, 775 and 8850C for the liquid metal. Silicon content of recycled aluminum used are: 0.45, 3.22 and 6.04% weight.Long and hot cracking index is used as measurable indicators of heat cracks.Increasing silicon content will lower the crack length and the index of thin cast aluminum body heat recycling. Increasing temperature and mold castings will increase the length and thermal cracking index aluminum thin cast object of recycling. The combination of casting and mold temperatures low and high silicon composition will produce athin cast aluminum body free of crackedheatrecycle.

Abstract

This study is exploratory, which aims to particular phenomena or circumstances. Model analysis taken is to collect data, then the data is processed by quantitative classified and calculated by using a formula applied. This research was conducted with the aim of proving the influence of water flow to the radiator cooling effectiveness and calculate how much influence that occurs between the water flow to the effectiveness of the radiator. Simulator research is an engine stand of Mazda car engine in which there are few tools berhubungan.Untuk each measuring instrument can generate data measurement, components - components and gauges required including engine, radiator, fans, electric motors, pumps cooling water , flowmeter, thermometer, radiator hoses, anemometer, tachometer, stopwatchdan regulator. Effectiveness research data for decision-temperature radiator measuring the detention (holding time) for 30 minutes, with the details of the distribution (1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30) minutes. Abstract

Dependable flow analysis is often difficult to predict, because influenced by natural phenomena and there are have variability of space and time. In analysis dependable flow especially the Sumatera region, usual model is used is Mock Model . However the level of reliability and accuracy have not been fully answered than the prediction of dependable flow. So it needs to be tested using a model that other rainfall-run off.The model approach used in this study is RainRun, that to predict dependable flow for applied on Sumatera region. Data is used to apply of RainRun model is Indragiri Basin for the years 1995 to 1999 are rainfall, climatological and measured discharge.The result study showed that the RainRun model to Indragiri Basin in calibration phase Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) value respectively 1,327% and verification obtained RMSE value respectively 2,811 %. Where as Mock watershed model for same Basin in calibration phase RMSE value 5,298% and the verification phase is obtained RMSE value 13,760 %. The results of comparative models RainRun and models Mock by using statistical parameter RMSE test RainRun models showed a lower error rate than the model of Mock.

Abstract

This research do to analize some Bicycle dealer company account report and to evaluate financial condition some bicycle dealer company in Pasir Pengaraian Town, is it good, not good or it worst. The method for this research is survey method that is tracing or observation. To analize financial report, use financial ratio that the result can measure and evaluate the work and the condition of company financial with more comprehensive include liquidate, solvablelity, profitablelity and activity.From the measurement report with the financial ratio, then the condition of UD. Prima Motor Pasir Pengaraian and CV. Surya Motor Jaya Pasir Pengaraian for ratio of liquidity, solvablelity and profitablelity, is in category good, but the financial both in category not good.

Abstract

From the research that has been conducted on energy audits in buildings PT. X, to know the profile of energy use and energy savings opportunities, so it can be more efficient and save costs. From the initial energy audit have been implemented acquired Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE) to the total area is still under IKE standards for office buildings. For air-conditioned room is not air conditioned and acquired Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE) is low so as very efficient. By replacing energy-efficient appliances, then there is a chance of saving energy

Abstract

The aims of this research was analyze flood design discharge at Bonai River, Kunto Darussalam Residence, Rokan Hulu District. Method was used used to analyze synthetic unit hydrograph of Nakayasu by rainfall in Pasar Kampar Station at year 2000 to 2009 . The result of this research prove that flood design discharge at Bonai River, Kunto Darussalam Residence, Rokan Hulu District using synthetic unit hydrograph of Nakayasu for return period 50 years is 286.75 m3/s .
