Limited access to formal public transport services in several new cities greatly affect the pattern of urban transport. The other side needs of public transport services is increasing as a result of high rates of urbanization and population increase in the number of activities. These conditions encourage the emergence of alternative public transport as a filler network services that are not accessable by formal public transport that is informal public transpor informal such as beca motors, Ojek, Bajaj and others.This paper aims to provide an overview of the phenomenon of informal use of public transport (beca motor) in Pasir Pengaraian by examining the operating characteristics and service use patterns as well as informal public transport in urban areas. The review and analysis based on literature studies and actual conditions and the tendency of the use of informal public transport.

Nearly 99% of Indonesia's flexible pavement made of bituminous mixtures. Damage to the pavement road in general is cracking and permanent deformation. Therefore, the use of additive (additive) on the hot asphalt mix is one way to resolve the issue. One of the ingredients that can improve the quality of pavement is to use materials with a polymer modified bitumen (asphalt modifier).This study aimed to analyze the characteristics of Marshall from the use of asphalt with the addition of polymer additives Starbit E-55 brands in the mix (AC-BC) through the Marshall with the durability testing modifications.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the design and costs required to implement the tower foundation construction and foundation type to vary the diameter and depth of the foundation. It is expected that this study will provide benefits in the selection of the type and design of tower foundations on different types of soil in the city of Pekanbaru so as to provide a reference for implementing the field.The foundation of the tower there are 3 analyzed the foundation of the palm, bored pile foundation and pile foundation. In order to get the optimal type of foundation, each foundation is divided into 3 alternatives. For the palm foundation foundation depth of 2.2 m is restricted, 2.0 m and 1.8 m. Limited bored pile foundation with a diameter of 0.4 m, 0.5 m and 0.6 m. While the pile foundation used a pole with side length 0.2 m, 0.25 m and 0.3 m. Based on the analysis of alternative variations of alternative technical foundation that provides optimum strength with economical cost estimation.

Ni – Hard IV is white cast iron alloy with high persentage on nikel ( Ni ) and Chromium ( Cr ) . It’s material is used in machine component that need high hardness and wear resistance, like roller on cement factory that used to raw material of cement ( clay, silica, stone and coal ).On operation the component which built with Ni – Hard IV will be fricted by abrasive material of cement. The expensive price component will be wear and unfunction. We need long time to make reservation for a new one.This problem can solved by making remanufacturing compnent . The damage component can be remanucfatured by arc welding method that use air in our enviroment on atmospheric temperatur as a cooler. It’s mean we applicate the normalizing Process method

Concreteis amixture ofportlandcement,fine aggregate, coarse aggregateand waterwith orwithout additives. Palmshells are hard enough with a lot of surface rupture to beable toreplace thecoarse aggregateonconcreteproperties, especially fornonstructuralconcrete.Combinationof materialconblock concrete of 60 % palm shelland 40% sand using water-cement ratio 0.4 and 0.45 showedstrength 4.0MPa(Muhammad Shalahuddin, 2012).Mixingconcreteis done byDOEmethod,60 samplescylindricaldiameter of 15cm andheight of 30cm. Compressive strengthof concretetestedat 28 dayswith a variety of water-content ratio and a variety of coarse aggregate-palm shells.The greater the percentage of use of the palm shell, made of concrete compressive strength decreases. Concrete compressive strength decreases with increasing of water-content ratio. Variations palm shell 50% and 50% of crushed stone with water-content ratio 0.4 and 0,45 produces compressive strength above 12.5 MPa.

The aim of this research is planning secondary and tertiary canalin Ranah Singkuang Irrigation Area ofKampar District through variation of crop patterns. Ranah Singkuang Irrigation area functional is 241.5 Ha.The processing of agricultural land at the location is also done twice a year with padi-padi-bero crop pattern.This research method used of criteria design irrigation at published Public Works Republic of Indonesia to obtain secondary and tertiary canal dimension in Ranah Singkuang Irrigation Area, District Kampar for net field requirement.The results of four early planting alternative planned. Crop pattern is obtained which get the greatest discharge 1,381 lt/s/ha is padi-padi-bero at early planting January period I. Result of analysis for secondary and tertiary trapezium canal dimension respectively for width of canal (b) 0.42 m and 0.2 m, water level of canal (h) 0.42 m and 0.2 m , working of canal (w) 0.14 m dan 0.67 and sloope of canal (I) 1.8 x 10-4 and 1.8 x 10-4 .

Kempa ulir (screw press) digunakan untuk memisahkan minyak kasar (crude oil) dari adonan daging buah (mesocarp) kelapa sawit, sehingga dihasilkan minyak kelapa sawit atau Crude Palm Oil (CPO). Short drive shaft adalah bagian dari kempa ulir yang berfungsi untuk meneruskan daya dari speed reducer ke worm screw. Pada saat beroperasi, short drive shaft terjadi patah pada daerah fillet.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menentukan penyebab terjadinya kerusakan pada short drive shaft dan mencegah tejadinya kerusakan yang sama di waktu mendatang. Penelitian terdiri dari pemeriksaan visual dan pengujian di laboratorium, meliputi uji metalografi, fraktografi, kekerasan, tarik, komposisi kimia dan simulasi tegangan.Dari data hasil pengujian didapat kesimpulan bahwa kerusakan short drive shaft diakibatkan oleh terjadinya konsentrasi tegangan pada daerah alur pasak yang menyebabkan pasak menjadi longgar sehingga worm screw mengalami rotating bending. Selama beroperasi, kejadian tersebut terus menerus berulang dan terjadi kelelahan pada short drive shaft,yang berlanjut menjadi retak awal pada permukaan fillet terus menjalar ke dalam dan akhirnya patah.

In this study, waste of bagasse and wood charcoal was converted into charcoal briquettes to be used as an alternative fuel. The bagasse and wood charcoal were selected as raw material to produce briquette due to these two materials was abundantly available and because they have not been used in any application. Moreover, the use of them as briquette and alternative energy will reduce the accumulation of waste that causes environmental pollution. Analysis of proximate test and heating value test showed that the percentage of moisture content of bagasse briquettes withdammar as adhesive is 3.36 to 1.47%, the amount of volatile matter is 36.91 to 30.15%, the ash content is 8.05 to 6.10 % and heating value is 3683.68 to 4520.88 kJ / kg. As for the charcoal briquettes was obtained that percentage of moisture content is 3.25 to 1.36 %, content of volatile matter is 34.55 to 26.53%,ash content is 6.36 to 5.37%, and heating value is 3934.84 to 5274.36kJ/kg.

The aim of this research was comparison of refererence evapotranspiration of non standard andstandard using method was recommended FAO at Muara Jalai Irrigation Area, Kampar District, RiauProvince. Method was used used to analyze non standard evapotranspiration using Penman Modification sothat standard evapotranspiration using Penman Monteith by climatological data such as temperature, windspeed, humidity and sunshine in Pasar Kampar Station at year 1999 to 2010. The result of this researchprove that evapotranspiration potencial standard using Penman Monteith produces more than less 18% ofaverage value if compare with evapotranspiration potencial non standard using Penman Modification atMuara Jalai Irrigation Area, Kampar District

The road condition and the Sumetera island climate is influence the endure \and capabilitythe transportation. The road condition can be see from the slanting, oblique and turns. Thecariability and the road surface. It alot of turn and slanting road, this condition it’s hard to be avoidin make highway, moreover in hill. The slanting is about 0 – 300and turns in certain place can be 10m in rotate. The couse chose the vehicle with 10 man capacity is for pleasant the passanger cousethe distance aout 300 km. The circle of machine (μm) it influence by the size of the machine. Wherethe machine circle connected with the reduction system transmission and continued by the Wheelit’s make the vihicle move. The circle motor can be define by the Wheel size, máximum speed,rolling resistance, air resistance and gradiebt resistance. From the count of the tire size, maximunspeed and wheel size then find the máximum circle motor is 3470 rpm. From the count of rollingresistance, air resistance and gradient resistance can be find power 68,33 Hp and speed at slantingup with full load is 5 km/h.
