Abstract

This study examines the impact of engaging in the Seren Taun ritual at the Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu UNESCO Global Geopark (CPUGGp) on tourist loyalty, with an emphasis on Memorable Tourism Experiences (MTEs) within three indigenous communities: Ciptagelar, Sinaresmi, and Ciptamulya. This study investigates how MTEs influence tourist loyalty by exploring destination image, visitor engagement, and cultural interaction. A quantitative method was utilized involving 200 participants who attended Seren Taun, with data collected through Google Forms. The application of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through the PLS technique, utilizing SmartPLS 4.0, facilitated the assessment of reliability, validity, and correlation analysis. The results demonstrate that MTEs play a crucial role in improving destination image and fostering cultural interaction, yet they do not markedly boost visitor engagement. The influence of MTEs on loyalty intention is significant, underscoring the importance of enhancing destination image and cultural engagement to promote the growth of cultural tourism in Geoparks. The research highlights the significance of cultural interaction and MTEs in fostering tourist loyalty. Rituals such as Seren Taun enhance visitors' ties to the local culture and encourage sustainable tourism, positively impacting local economies.

Abstract

The impetus for this research is the suboptimal concept of service quality and perceived privacy toward customer satisfaction for online food delivery. This study seeks to ascertain the influence of service quality, perceived security, and privacy on enhancing customer satisfaction via SERVQUAL Theory. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires using the purposive sampling method to 190 generation Y and Z participants who used online food delivery. Data were analyzed using CB-SEM to test the relationship between latent variables through parameter estimation, hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that service quality and customer perceived value do not significantly affect customer satisfaction. However, this study reveals that service quality, perceived security, perceived privacy, and customer perceived value have a significant effect on trust, and trust significantly affects customer satisfaction. The novelty of the research in this study is the addition of the perceived privacy variable. The findings of this study provide insight into the development of SERVQUAL Theory. This study extends the application of the theory by adding perceived privacy and perceived security as important variables relevant to online food delivery. This study provides insight for companies to design effective marketing strategies to build trust and increase customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a dynamic portfolio model based on asset class, precious metals, world oil, and dollar index. This study performs a comparative test between the Dynamics Conditional Correlation (DCC) and Asymmetric Dynamics Conditional Correlation (ADCC) to determine the best method in forming a dynamic portfolio. Four big cap companies on the Indonesian stock market (BBCA, BBRI, BMRI, and ASII) are examined in this study. The data used were daily returns for the period of January 2, 1998 – December 31, 2020, analyzed using Dynamics Conditional Correlation (DCC) and Asymmetric Dynamics Conditional Correlation (ADCC). The results of empirical testing suggest that including gold, world oil, and dollar index into the dynamic portfolio might increase the portfolio performance and minimize its risks. The stock-gold portfolios formed by utilizing the DCC and ADCC-GARCH methods outperform those composed of only stock. Gold could act as a financial system stabilizer by mitigating losses in the case of extreme negative market shocks. Stock-WTI portfolios formed by utilizing the DCC and ADCC-GARCH methods also outperform those composed of only stock.

Abstract

The Indonesian fiber cement board industry faces increasing pressure to enhance sustainability due to growing environmental global concerns and regulatory demands. The companies in this sector must address multiple sustainability criteria such as waste management, resource utilization, and compliance with environmental regulations to remain competitive and sustainable. However, identifying which criteria are the most influential in driving overall sustainability outcomes presents a challenge. Previous studies have often examined these criteria in isolation, without considering their interdependencies. To address this gap, this study integrates the Delphi method with DEMATEL and ANP to analyze and prioritize key sustainability criteria for a fiber cement board company. By developing a comprehensive framework, this research aims to provide actionable insights that will help companies enhance their sustainability performance. In this research, PT. XYZ, a well-known fiber cement board manufacturer in Central Java, Indonesia, was used as a case study. The result shows that the DEMATEL-ANP method reveals that waste management, compliance with environmental regulations, and resource and material management are the most critical criteria, with high prominence and influence scores. These findings suggest that focusing on these critical areas first, followed by processing other criteria accordingly, can significantly enhance the company’s sustainability performance.

Abstract

This study empirically investigates the relationship between shared-goal congruence, customer relationship management (CRM), and customer relationship advantages on firm performance. Data were collected from 200 supply chain practitioners and operations staff working in retail stores in Indonesia using purposive and non-probability sampling techniques. The hypotheses were assessed using SEM-AMOS 24, after conducting Exploratory Factor Analysis, reliability, and validity tests. The results show that CRM significantly impacts firm performance, mediated by Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM). Additionally, a positive relationship exists between goal congruency and firm performance, also mediated by GSCM. Supplier relationship management was found to have a significant effect on both GSCM and firm performance. The theoretical contribution of this study emphasizes that the integration of sustainable principles in supply chain management through GSCM improves firm performance in various aspects, including financial, environmental, and social. The implementation of GSCM, supported by strong management commitment and a shift in organizational culture, enhances energy and resource efficiency, process and product innovation, environmental risk reduction, customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and cost reductions, leading to competitive advantages through faster and more accurate decision-making.

Abstract

Research on the influence of digital finance on banking performance and risk is relevant, given the disparity development of the financial sector in Indonesia. The research method used a quantitative approach with data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Data processing employed Arellano Bond's two-step dynamic panel regression analysis (GMM), as the available data range was 2020-2022. The research conclusion asserts that banking performance has decreased due to the influence of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) lending. This research has also established that the influence of P2P presence on banking in Java did not differ from that observed outside of Java. The investigation of the influence of P2P lending on banking risk revealed no discernible effect. When researchers attempted to compare the disparities in the influence of P2P lending on risk, they discovered no differences between Java Island and outside Java Island. It implies that government policies encouraging financial institutions' development with digital platforms do not cause banking performance to decline. As such, stricter regulations on P2P lending are necessary to mitigate the risk of bad credit.

Abstract

The combination of monetary and fiscal policies is used to stabilize prices in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to analyse the role of monetary and fiscal policies in stabilizing prices in Indonesia through the threshold concept. The data used is time series (2013Q1-2023Q2) with the Threshold Vector Autoregression method. The results show that the interest rate and budget thresholds can affect inflation stability. Other variables, such as the exchange rate, output gap, and FFR, have varying effects depending on the threshold. Thus, combining adjustments in monetary and fiscal policies and understanding the impact of inflation at various policymakers can better manage economic growth and maintain price stability in the long term.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of employee organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and engagement on the performance of microfinance institutions, with a focus on the moderating role of managerial decision-making. Data were collected from 100 key microfinance institutions employees in Greater Bandung, with interviews of 10 experienced staff (>5 years) conducted to refine the questionnaire and ensure alignment with microfinance institutions work conditions. Using Structural Equation Modeling using Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) for data analysis, this study finds that both organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and employee engagement significantly enhance microfinance institutions performance. The results further indicate that managerial decision-making serves as a critical mediator between OCB, employee engagement, and organizational performance. These findings underscore the importance of managerial decision-making in amplifying the effects of OCB and employee engagement on microfinance institutions performance. Furthermore, this research introduces alternative metrics for assessing OCB, employee engagement, managerial decision-making, and organizational performance.
