Abstract

AbstractPT. X is a company which is engaged in the various products spicy crackers. Markettrends has changed rapidly and the emergence of a wide range of similar productsfrom competitors, made a stagnation of sales. Therefore, this study aims to analyzethe implementation of the strategy of PT X in achieve competitive advantage.The theory used is the Strategic Planning of Strickland and Thompson (2003)and the 5 Forces of Porter’s model of competitive advantage. The method used isqualitative case study approach, which resulted in a recommendation strategy.The results showed some strength (strengths) that already have a brand preference,obtained a patent for the right brand, and experience in producing a quality product.However, some weaknesses (weaknesses) that must be overcome major capacity ofskilled labor is still low and the planning of the business development strategy is stillnot structured.The conclusion of this study is PT. X should focus on strengthening the corebusiness through investment oriented to the interests of market share, through adifferentiation strategy to maximize competitiveness, especially efforts to increasethe perceived value in the eyes of consumers.Keywords: Strategic Planning , Competitive Advantage , Culinary IndustryAbstrakPT. Trend pasar yang cepat berubah dan bermunculannya berbagai produksejenis dari pesaing, menyebabkan stagnasi penjualan. Oleh karena itu penelitian inibertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi strategi PT X di dalam meraih keunggu-lan bersaing.Teori yang digunakan adalah Perencanaan Strategis dari Strickland dan Thompson(2003) dan model keunggulan bersaing Porters 5 Forces. Metode yang digunakanadalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, yang menghasilkan rekomendasistrategi.Hasil penelitian menunjukan beberapa kekuatan (strengths) yaitu telah memiliki brand preference, memperoleh paten atas hak merk, dan pengalaman dalam menghasilkanproduk yang berkualitas. Namun demikian, beberapa kelemahan (weaknesses)utama yang harus segera diatasi yaitu kapasitas tenaga kerja terampil yangmasih rendah serta perencanaan strategi pengembangan bisnis masih belum terstruktur.Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah PT.X harus fokus terhadap penguatan corebusiness melalui investasi yang berorientasi pada kepentingan penguasaan pasar,melalui strategi differentiation untuk memaksimalkan daya saing yang dimiliki,khususnya upaya peningkatan perceived value di mata konsumennya.Kata kunci: Perencanaan Stratejik, Keuntungan Bersaing, industri kuliner

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research are to know reaction of training participant,effectiveness, and efficiency of classical and e-learning training method. By usedthe comparison descriptive research method and the research object is PerformanceBased Budgeting Training Program organized by Budgeting and Treasury TrainingCenter in 2014. The evaluation for training program as obligatory phase to measureeffectiveness training program. The result show that reaction of training participantwith e-learning method higher than classical method. The participant argue thattime used for learn the materials in the e-learning method is more flexible. On theother hand, such reaction is not accompanied by satisfying result. This appearsthe second level evaluation where the e-learning method is considered lower thanclassical method in the level of effectiveness due to the misconducting of materialdelivery techniques in Framing RKA-KL material. Therefore, it is suggested thatimprovement for the issue is to be taken into consideration by applying audio-visualsimulation.Keywords: evaluation, training, reaction, effectiveness, e-learningAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui reaksi positif peserta diklat, efektivitas danefisiensi dari metode pelatihan klasikal (classroom) dan e-learning. Metode yang di-gunakan dalampenelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan jenis komparatif dengan objekpenelitian Diklat Penyusunan Anggaran Berbasis Kinerja yang diselenggarakan diPusdiklat Anggaran dan Perbendaaharaan pada tahun 2014. Proses evaluasi suatudiklat adalah bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari penyelenggaraan diklat itu sendiri.Evaluasi merupakan tahapan yang wajib dilakukan untuk mengukur sejauh manatingkat efektivitas dan efisiensi dari penyelenggaraan suatu programdiklat. Berdasar-kan evaluasi yang dilakukan, reaksi positif dari peserta diklat dengan metode diklate-learning lebih tinggi daripada peserta diklat dengan metode diklat klasikal (class-room). Hal ini dikarenakan peserta diklat berpendapat bahwa waktu yang digunakanuntuk mempelajari materi diklat dengan metode e-learning lebih fleksibel. Disisi lain,reaksi positif tersebut tidak diimbangi dengan hasil yang maksimal. Hal ini dapat dili-hat dari hasil evaluasi tahap kedua yang menunjukan bahwa metode diklat e-learning memiliki tingkat efektivitas yang lebih rendah apabila dibandingkan dengan metodediklat klasikal (classroom). Rendahnya tingkat efektivitas diklat dengan metode e-learning, dikarenakan adanya ketidaktepatan penggunaan teknik penyampaian materidalam materi Penyusunan RKA-K/L. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perbaikan dalampenyampaian materi Penyusunan RKA-K/L dengan menggunakan simulasi secaraaudio visual.Kata kunci: evaluasi, pelatihan, reaksi, efektifitas, e-learning

Abstract

AbstractThese days, technology are growing very fast, The use of technology has been widelyused in various sector. For example, in the fashion sector, also using technology asa medium to promote and to market the product. And with the increasing numberof Internet users, are expected to influence people’s behavior to make a purchasefrom conventional purchases to e-commerce.To realize a transaction or customerparticipation, it takes trust of each customer. In this study, the population is fromthe respondents who have ever made a purchase of shoes from Grifabell throughsocial media instagram. Data collection techniques used is through a survey using aquestionnaire, and questionnaires collected from a sample of 120 respondents whichhas been distributed through an Google Drive’s online questionnaire to Grifabell’scustomers throughout Indonesia. Before the data were analyzed, the authors testedthe validity and reliability of 30 samples using SPSS software.The research method used is multiple regression analysis and simple regression, Ftest, T test and determination coefficient. From these results, it can be concludedthat the indicators of variable technology acceptance model: the perceived qualityof e-shopping and attitude have a positive effect on the variable of trust, andthe indicators from confidence’s variables is experience, the quality of work, andintelligence which have a positive effect on the purchase decision variables.Keywords: Social Media, Technology Acceptance Model, Trust, PurchasingDecision, InstagramAbstrakPerkembangan teknologi saat ini sudah berkembang sangat pesat, pemanfaatanteknologi sudah banyak digunakan diberbagai bidang. Misalnya pada bidangfashion, yang memanfaatkan teknologi sebagai media untuk mempromosikan danmemasarkan produk. Dengan semakin banyaknya pengguna internet, diharapkandapat mempengaruhi prilaku masyarakat untuk melakukan pembelian, daripembelian secara konvensional ke e-commerce. Untuk mewujudkan transaksi ataupartisipasi pelanggan dibutuhkan kepercayaan dari tiap-tiap pelanggannya. Pada penelitian ini, populasinya adalah responden yang pernah melakukan pembeliansepatu Grifabell melalui media sosial instagram. Teknik pengumpulan data yangdigunakan adalah survei dengan menggunakan kuesioner, dan dari penyebarankuesioner terkumpul sampel sebanyak 120 responden yang telah disebarkan melaluikuesioner online Google Drive kepada pelanggan Grifabell di seluruh Indonesia.Sebelum dilakukan analisa data, penulis melakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitassebanyak 30 sampel dengan menggunakan software SPSS.2mm] Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda danregresi sederhana, uji f, uji t, dan koefisien determinasi. Dari hasil penelitian ini,dapat disimpulkan bahwa indikator-indikator dari variabel technology acceptancemodel yaitu perceived quality of e-shopping dan attitude berpengaruh positifterhadap variabel kepercayaan, dan indikator dari variabel kepercayaan yaitupengalaman (experienced), kualitas kerja (quality of work), dan kecerdasan(intelligence) berpengaruh positif terhadap variabel keputusan pembelian.Kata kunci: Social Media, Technology Acceptance Model, Trust, KeputusanPembelian, Instagram

Abstract

AbstractTo achieve self-sufficiency in the supply of meat and milk, the Ministry of Agriculturehas issued Peraturan Menteri Pertanian Nomor : 40/Permentan/PD.400/9/2009,about implementation guideline of the KREDIT USAHA PEMBIBITAN SAPI(KUPS). This study aims to gain a complete understanding of the implementationKUPS at the farmer level. It was conducted an exploration phase about adistribution and use of the KUPS. KUPS distribution will include mechanisms andprocedures, but the use of KUPS includes the aspects of benefit for their business.An exploration phase was carried out in KPSBU Lembang (Koperasi Peternak SapiBandung Utara). KPSBU Lembang is a primary cooperative in the district Lembangwhich has members including dairy farmers with a working area of North Bandung.KUPS programs created by the government as one of the government’s support inpromoting cattle farmers in West Java has not been able to apply to the fullest.Operational level studies showed that cattle breeders breeders generally do notaccess KUPS. Program KUPS yang dibuat oleh pemerintahsebagai salah satu dukungan pemerintah dalam memajukan peternak sapi di JawaBarat belum bisa menerapkan secara maksimal. Kajian ditingkat operasional peter-nak sapi diperoleh bahwa pada umumnya peternak tidak mengakses KUPS. Abstract

AbstractPerum PHT is a State Owned Enterprises which manages Production and ProtectedForests in Indonesia, especially in Java and Madura. The growing expectation on themodern enterprise management, Perum PHT has been implementing PerformanceManagement. The purpose of this study to determine the extent of implementation ofperformance management in Perum PHT. Data were collected through interviewsand participant observation.The results of research in the form of this descriptive study concluded that theimplementation of performance management in Perum PHT has some shortcomings,namely: Stages of management that is not fully implemented in accordance with, thefocus is still limited at this stage of the implementation of performance appraisal.Socialization of performance management is not optimal so that an understandingof employee Perum PHT on application performance management mash less.To be successful in implementing performance management needs the support oftop management as well as a good example by doing all phases of the performancemanagement process and to improve the understanding of employees at alllevels of the performance management process. With the implementation ofperformance management consistently, expected performance and contributionto the effectiveness of individual employees to achieve company goals can beplanned, monitored, measured and evaluated the process of achievement, as wellas performed corrective actions when performance problems occur so that thecompany’s goals can be achieved.Keywords: Performance management, Implementation,AbstrakPerum PHT merupakan Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) yang mengelolakawasan Hutan Produksi dan Hutan Lindung di Indonesia khususnya Pulau Jawa danMadura. Dengan semakin berkembangnya tuntutan dalam pengelolaan perusahaanmodern, Perum PHT telah menerapkan Manajemen Kinerja. Tujuan penelitian iniuntuk mengetahui sampai sejauh mana penerapan manajemen kinerja pada PerumPHT. Metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan obeservasi partisipan.  Hasil penelitian yang berbentuk studi deskriptif ini menyimpulkan bahwapenerapan manajemen kinerja di Perum PHT masih memiliki kekurangan yaitu:tahapan manajemen yang belum sepenuhnya dilaksanakan sesuai ketentuan, fokuspelaksanaan masih terbatas pada tahapan penilaian kinerja. Sosialisasi manajemenkinerja masih belum optimal sehingga pemahaman dari karyawan Perum PHTterhadap penerapan manajemen kinerja mash kurang.Untuk lebih berhasil dalam menerapkan manajemen kinerja perlu adanya dukungandari manajemen puncak serta contoh yang baik dengan melakukan seluruh tahapanproses manajemen kinerja serta meningkatkan pemahaman karyawan di seluruhlevel terhadap proses manajemen kinerja. Dengan diterapkannya manajemen kinerjasecara konsisten, diharapkan kinerja dan kontribusi individu karyawan terhadapefektivitas pencapaian tujuan perusahaan dapat direncanakan, dimonitor, diukurdan dievaluasi proses pencapaiannya, serta dilakukan tindakan-tindakan koreksibilamana terjadi permasalahan kinerja sehingga tujuan perusahaan dapat tercapai.Kata kunci: Manajemen Kinerja, Implementasi, Tahapan

AbstractOne of the characteristics of modern organization is a learning organization.Learning organization is an organization that is continually learning shared amongmembers use existing knowledge so that the company can achieve success. Abstract

The rapid development of Information Technology turned out to open the opportunity of E-Commerce. Nowadays, E-Commerce is one of the promising business opportunities. By managing a blog, a blogger can earn a considerable profit. This study aims to determine whether the business on the internet is worth to run, how to design this kind of business, and how much the budget needed to run this business. The business plan is applied to www.laughonthefloor.com by using descriptive analysis method. The data gathered by using literature research and also field research. Abstract

PT X is a smartphone retail company that distributing and selling smartphone from China and Hongkong to Indonesia. The length of their supply chain has a big potential risk on getting crushed by incidents that can stop their business process. The potential risk that will affect PT X is the risk of goods lost and broken as distributed from China and Hongkong. The separated distribution method, use of expeditions, and unpredictable weather could endangered those smartphone. Business Continuity Plan proposal for PT X focused on their ability to mitigate risks and incidents that might occur in their supply chain. Based on analysis, there are three options that PT X can apply, its (1) suppliers backup, (2) critical resources arrangement method, and (3) financial management systems. As the condition of PT X at the moment, suppliers back up and critical arrangement method assessed as their top implementable priority. Supported by AHP calculation, the two options chosen by PT X are the best options. Based on accumulation of those three options, option 1, Suppliers Back Up (43%) becomes their first priority with option 2 (35%) option 3 (22%) on their next list. Abstract

This papers objective is to build a collaboration framework to marshal the international cooperation among universities, not only within the same region in developing countries but also with developed countries. The research is based on selected case studies, which consists of top universities in Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia, the Netherlands, and the worldwide universities network. The suggested framework involves two core activities, which are teaching and learning, and research. These are influenced by required resources, policy, and accreditation. The key for successful collaboration lies in the relations between these elements; therefore, the collaboration will not necessarily follow a continuum. Abstract

By merging banks with one another, the government hopes to improve the general condition or quality of banks. However, after these mergers there are twenty banks that have been liquidated, and only nineteen remain operation. The aim of this paper is to construct a model in order to predict the failure of merged banks in Indonesia, based on financial ratios. The object of research consists of the financial ratios of either liquidated or successful ones. The data are collected from a published financial reports of those banks which have been audited and processed as financial ratios. These financial ratios are analysed by way of logistic regression. The research hypothesis proposed is that financial ratios can be turned into prediction models to establish the degree to which mergers have failed in Indonesia. The results show that the financial standard of performance of failed banks is indeed inferior to that of successful ones The results from the statistical test also indicate that the combination of RR and ROA financial ratios are the most significant ones to pass the compatibility or ”proper and fitness” test to predict the extent of failure of mergers between banks in Indonesia. The outcome of research may be exploited by society at large, observers of the banking world, and Bank Indonesia by way of an early warning system concerning the failure of mergers between banks in Indonesia.
