Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) The effectiveness of the implementation of the learning process in Junior High School IPS 2 Sungguminasa, (2) factors that support and hinder the implementation of the process of learning social studies, and (3) efforts that can be done to improve the effectiveness of the learning process IPS in SMP Negeri 2 Somba Opu Sungguminasa District of Gowa.The method used is quantitative descriptive , this study population was all students in Junior High School 2 Sungguminasa which amounts to 1268 and social studies teachers who were 3 people. The sample was 94 respondents consisting of 91 students and 3 teachers IPS. Samples were taken using a random sample (random sampling). The technique used in this study to collect data that observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation . While the techniques of data analysis done by mempersentasekan each option and then to describe the meaning of the results contained these percentages .The results of this study show that (1) Implementation of the learning process in the category IPS effective in terms of all aspects of planning, implementation and evaluation aspects aspects. (2) the effectiveness of the implementation of the learning process is supported by several factors: students, curriculum, teachers and teaching materials. Inhibiting factors: media / learning tools and subject matter are still limited, (3) the efforts made to improve the effectiveness of the learning process in Junior High School IPS 2 Sungguminasa namely: providing learning preparation; provide a proper and sufficient learning; preparing teaching materials and adequate quality; control the discipline of students and prepare a supportive learning environment

Abstract

Abstract ; This study aimed to determine the principal's leadership in increasing the motivation of teachers at SMPN 1 Pa'jukukang Bantaeng population in this study were the teachers SMPN1 Pa'jukukang Bantaeng number of 31 teachers. In this study sample was not withdrawn because the researchers were able to reach this population. Held data collection techniques for observation, interview and observation serata documentation. The results showed that; School leadership in SMPN1 Pa'jukukang Bantaeng quite good, work motivation of teachers in SMPN 1 Pa'jukukang Bantaeng quite good so that it can be concluded with a good school leadership can increase the motivation of teachers SMPN1 Pa'jukukang Bantaeng

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to (1) To know How Supervising Principal education at SMPN Makassar (2) to determine how competence profesioanal teacher At SMPN Makassar. (3) to determine how the role of supervising the competence profesioanal education teacher at SMPN  Makassar. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Technique data collecting by interview, documentation and observation. Once the sample population of this study is the Principal and Teacher SMPN Makassar. The results showed that educational supervision Headmaster of SMPN Makassar had behaved correctly, where the task in question is his duty as an educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator and entrepreneur has been going well so as to create a professional teacher and have an impact on the increase student achievement in school.

Abstract

The dynamics of community life in the era of reform and autonomy of blood very quickly. Along with it, the construction of a keyword to Membincang the community life better, prosperous, independent and religious. The collar condition seems not easy and fast to be realized. Therefore very many factors that must be involved and require attention especially to the leaders as the locomotive development process. Leadership one of which determine the success of the development process. Aspects of leadership in the community also become urgent to assess its contribution in the development process. The latter was, in every region is no exception in South Sulawesi local wisdom in the community still has historically maintained in the socio-cultural aspects of concrete existence in the mind, heart and attitude behavior. Numun existence in providing leadership role and influence in a leader sometimes left behind and more neglected. Whereas integrated both the spirit as well as the spirit of absolute power-existence in a leader.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the application of character values in social studies learning in SMP Negeri 18 Makassar, whatever, which is a factor supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of character values in social studies learning in SMP Negeri 18 Makassar, and how the implications of the application of values character values in social studies learning in SMP 18 Makassar.This type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative, ie a process of collecting data systematically and intensively to acquire knowledge and information. So in this study, researchers observe and interact with the principal, waka curriculum, social studies teacher and the students of SMP Negeri 18 Makassar with interviews and search for data by reviewing documentation.Based on the research results to obtain the result that the application of character values in social studies learning in SMP 18 Makassar is through policies of the principal to implement the values of the characters in each learning especially those on learning social studies, social studies teacher in the business of applying the values of character which includes a three -stage process: first the planning, implementation and evaluation. Supporting factor in the application of the values of the characters in SMP Negeri 18 Makassar with the availability of school facilities that support the implementation of the values of character, while the inhibiting factor has not been found to be significant. The implications of the development or application of the values of characters that can be observed through several advances such as improved learning environment, improvement of the quality of the school environment, improvement of the quality of social relationships in school, improved student academic achievement and creativity in extracurricular activities

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study was: (a) To reveal the influence of Jigsaw model of cooperative learning on learning outcomes of English. (B) Want to know how far the understanding and mastery of subjects in English after the implementation of cooperative learning model of Jigsaw in class student This study used action research (action research) a total of three rounds. Each round consists of four phases: design, activities and observation, reflection, and refisi. The targets of this research is VII1 grade students of SMPN 18 Makassar Data obtained in the form of a formative test results, observation sheet teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis showed that student achievement increased from the first cycle to the third cycle, namely, the first cycle (60.71%), Cycle II (75.00%), the third cycle (89.29). The conclusions of this study are the Jigsaw model of cooperative learning can be a positive influence on learning motivation SMPN 18 Makassar and this model can be used as an alternative learning English

Abstract

The aim of this study is ( 1 ) To determine the effectiveness of the jigsaw cooperative learning methods in improving learning outcomes in social studies classes SMP Negei 1 Balocci Pangkep through Jigsaw cooperative learning methods. ( 2 ) To know the factors supporting and inhibiting the implementation of the jigsaw cooperative method in SMP Negeri 1 Balocci Pangkep. The subjects were students of class VIII F which totaled 28 students. This study conducted two cycles, each cycle consisting of komponem action planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques are implemented tests student learning outcomes in quantitative analysis and observation sheet dianalisisi qualitativel. The results of the study are: The effectiveness of the jigsaw method of cooperative learning in improving student learning outcomes in social studies classes SMP Negeri 1 Balocci Pangkep is pretty good views of improving student learning outcomes, increase student attendance, cooperation, active and student attendance. Factors Supporting Cooperative Learning Method Jigsaw type is of that type of jigsaw learning model has a positive impact on teaching and learning activities, which can increase the activity of the teacher and the students during the learning , and to increase students' interest in participating in the next lesson

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of media use and learning social studies student achievement in SMP Negeri 3 Marioriawa. As well as to determine the presence or absence of a relationship between the use of media influence on the achievement of learning social studies students in Junior High School beajar 3 Marioriawa.The study was conducted with descriptive quantitative statistical approach. The variables consisted of the use of instructional media (variable X ) and learning outcomes (Y ). The population of this study were students of SMP Negeri 3 Marioriawa much as 134 people as well as a sample of class VIII as many as 33 people. The data collection technique is observation , questionnaires , and documentation . Data analysis techniques performed by descriptive statistical analysis and statistical analysis infrensial . Based on the research results can be seen that illustrates the effect of the use of instructional media in the category of " very good " and a picture of student learning outcomes fall into the category of " good ". And there is a relationship between the use of instructional media for improving student learning outcomes in SMP Negeri 3 Marioriawa

Abstract: The existence of good governance or good governance are often called for in fact hail hail is still a dream and was limited to mere jargon. Indonesia should immediately awakened from a long hibernation. Revolution in every field should be done because every product produced only accommodate the interests of political parties, factions and groups of people. When it should be good governance should be a serious concern. Transparency can indeed be one solution, but whether it's enough just to achieve good governance. Good concept governances, the process of implementation of state power in implementing the provision of public goods and service called governance (government or governance), while the so-called best practices of good governance (good governance). In order for "good governance" can become a reality and create state fair, it takes the commitment and involvement of all stakeholders, namely the government and society. Abstract

Abstract: Mathematics is one of the difficult subjects perceived by many students. This is because the abstract mathematical objects, so students are difficult to understand. Thus, learning mathematics needs to be put in accordance with students' cognitive abilities, mengkongkritkan abstract mathematical objects so that young students understood. From the experience of researchers in teaching over the years, many students have difficulty understanding the three-dimensional material in particular slices of a field with geometry. It is necessary to research that aims to improve students' understanding of the concept of a field with a wedge geometry, the research object class X-5 SMAN 1 Majene academic year 2010/2011. The approach taken in this study is a qualitative approach using classroom action research design. Implementation of the actions carried out in two cycles, the first cycle is the implementation of learning material with slices of a field sketch geometry with media images, and the second cycle of implementation of instructional material slices of a field with geometry with visual media or media-based power point presentation. The data were obtained by observation, administration of questionnaires, and test the research object. Data obtained from observation and questionnaires were analyzed by means of qualitative analysis, while data obtained from the test were analyzed by quantitative anlisis. The results showed that students' mastery of the material slices of a field with geometry> 80% with an average of 88.6 and the final test results 68% of students say that the use of visual media can increase understanding in learning slices field with geometry.
