Abstract

Based on observations of researchers in the field is seen that the method used by the teacher of PE in the communication of lesson material that using conventional methods. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning methods demonstration of the skills of playing volleyball SMPN 1 Batu Bersurat used type of approach to quantitative analysis through test volleyball ground level. This research is a quasi experimental, and the study population was all students of SMPN 1 Batu Bersurat totaling 15 people, while the sampling technique in this study using total sampling technique. then the sample in this study amounted to 15 people. The instrument used was a test volleyball basic level French-Cooper. The data analyzed in this study is data derived from experimental studies that use the pre-test and post-test one group design. Data analysis results show that: the influence of methods of demonstration against playing volleyball skills student at SMPN 1 Batu Bersurat with the results of the statistical count tcount 33.12> ttabel 23.7.

Abstract

This research aims to increase students ability in reading poetry with demonstration methods in class V SDNegeri 005 Koto Perambahan Kecamatan Kampa Kabupaten Kampar. The subject of this research is thestudents class V with the number of students 28. The research was conducted two cycles. Each cycle is doneseveral stages is action planning, action implementation, observation and evaluation, and reflection. The resultsof research showed that in cycle I total of complete students is 8 students or 28.6% with low category. In thecycle II the number of completed students increased to 25 students or 89.2% in the medium category. Based onthe result of the research, it can be concluded that the use of demontration methods can improve students abilityin reading poetry students of class V SD Negeri 005 Koto Perambahan.

Abstract

The background of this study is due to the low ability of problem-solving at elementary school students. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of the problem-solving abilities of elementary school students using problem-based learning models. This research was conducted in class IV SDN 07 KTK Solok City. This research was a classroom action research using Kemmis and Mc Taggart design. The results found that the initial ability of students to get an average score of 45.00, 68.00 for cycle 1 and 79.00 for cycle 2. The results of this study indicated an increase in the problem-solving ability of elementary school students by using problem-based learning models. The research implications can be used as a reference for developing the problem-solving abilities of elementary school students.

Abstract

The background of this study is the low student learning outcomes Civics Class VI SDN 005Bukit Kapur. This study aims to describe the results of learning by using the cooperativemodel script. The subjects were students of class VI SDN 005 Bukit Kapur consisting of twocycles. The data in this study focuses on improving learning outcomes. The instrument usedfor data collection is an oral test and a written test in the form of worksheets that do after thelearning process. Results showed absorption learning outcomes on average 93% in subjectscategorized Civics very good, very effective learning effectiveness categorized by an averageof 93%. While completeness of student learning outcomes otherwise completed 100%.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the learning outcomes through the use of media map. The subjects were students of class V SD 002 Bagan Besar Dumai consisting of two cycles. Improved learning outcomes in terms of four categories, namely absorption, the effectiveness of learning, mastery learning completeness students both individually and classical completeness and thoroughness of learning outcomes. The instrument used for data collection is an oral test and a written test in the form of worksheets that is done after the process of learning. The results showed absorption learning outcomes on average 83% considered very good, very effective learning effectiveness categorized by an average of 8.5. While the completeness of student learning outcomes expressed complete 100%.Keywords: learning outcomes, map media

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes through the use of image media. This research is a class action research, the subject of research is the students of class VI SDN 010 Jaya Mukti. This study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle is implemented based on four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The result of the study showed that the IPS learning achievement increased in the first cycle of student learning outcomes was 80.77% and in cycle II increased up to 85.08. Student learning completeness in classical equal to 88,46% in cycle I and 100% in cycle II. Based on the results of the above research, it can be concluded that the use of image media can improve the learning outcomes of IPS students class VI SDN 010 Jaya Mukti.

Abstract

This research is about the effect of teacher teaching style on visual-spatial intelligence of fourth grade students of Khadijah Surabaya Elementary School. The purpose of this researh was to determine the teaching style used by fourth grade teachers, to determine the visual-spatial intelligence of fourth grade students, and to determine the effect of the teacher's teaching style on the visual-spatial intelligence of fourth grade students. The research method used was quantitative research, the type of correlational research. The total population in this study was 123 students with a total sample of 95 students. Data collection techniques used was a questionnaire with the number of questions 23 variable X questions and 15 valid variable Y questions with a reliable value of 0.893 (variable X) and 0.783 (variable Y). Data analysis techniques used was the Pearson product moment test. The results of this study indicated that: 1) the teaching style used by fourth grade teachers was classical 31.58%, technologically 38.95%, personalization 7.37%, and interactional 22.1%, 2) visual-spatial intelligence of 72 fourth grade students (75.8%) were in the high category, 22 students (23.2%) were in the medium category, and 1 student (1.1%) was in the low category, 3) The teaching style of the teacher had moderate influence on visual-spatial intelligence of fourth grade students with a correlation coefficient of 0.521 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.01. This research hopes to shed some light for researchers, teachers, and schools to apply teaching styles that are in accordance with students' visual-spatial intelligence.

Abstract

The background of this research is the lack of students' mathematics learning outcomes. Thiscan be seen from 28 students only 13 students reaching 46.43% KKM. In addition, theaverage value is obtained by the students was 56.96. This research is a classroom actionresearch (PTK), the research was conducted SDN 001 Empat Balai Kecamatan Kouk. Thisresearch was conducted in two cycles by applying the model TPS learners. The purpose ofthis study is to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes. The data used in this studyis the result of learning and activity data of teachers and students. The study states that theTPS learning model can improve the results of math students learn some vital lessons. This isevidenced by: (a) the learning outcomes of students has increased at each cycle. At the basescore is the average value obtained was 56.96 by the number of students who completed 13(46.43%). In the first cycle the average value of the acquisition was 69 with the number ofstudents who completed was 19 (69.86%). In the second cycle of acquisition the averagevalue obtained was 77.43 students complete student number was 24 (85.71%); and (b) theactivities of teachers has increased in each cycle, the first cycle 1 meeting obtain a score of14 (58.33%) with less category, the first cycle 2 meeting obtain a score of 16 (66.67%) withenough categories, in cycle II meeting 1 given a score of 19 (79.16%) in both categories. Andthe second cycle 2 meeting obtain a score of 21 (87.50%) with a very good category. And thestudents' activity has increased in the first meeting of the first cycle of activity students obtaina score of 13 (54.16 %%) with less category, the second meeting of the second cycle obtain ascore of 16 (66.67%) with enough categories, the first meeting of the second cycle obtain ascore of 18 (75.00%) in both categories. And at the second meeting of the second cycle obtaina score of 22 (91.67%) with a frightening good category.

Abstract

This research was qualitative research with descriptive method. Subject was student teachers who took Fundamental Science 1. Based on validity analysis of item on 1 % significance level, there were 16 valid items, 26 valid ietms for 5 % significance level, and 14 invalid items. Then, analysis of distinguishing items, the item number 20 was very worst, 15 items were poor, other 15 item were fair and the other items were good. Meanwhile, analysis of level of difficulty, 17 item were very easy, 9 items were easy, 11 items were moderate, an item was difficult, and the others were very difficult. Abstract

Mathematics teaching that is done in class VB SDN 78 Pekanbaru not get satisfactory results from the results of the evaluation are still many students who get the value under the KKM (70). From 36 grade VB, only reaching the KKM is as much as 11 students (30,55%), and who have not yet reached KKM as much as 25 students (69,44%) with the value of the average results of learning mathematics is 56,67. The aim of the research to improve the results of learning mathematics grade VB SDN 78 Pekanbaru with the implementation of cooperative learning model STAD types on the matter arose space. By using this method STAD has increased significantly student learning outcomes. Improving student learning results VB class at cycle I the first meeting of 11.86 from the value of the average cycle with enough pre category. Then on the second meeting of the cycle I return increased by 6.64 with enough category. After held reflection, then held the improvement at cycle II. At the first meeting of increasing the value of the average from the previous cycle of 2.25 with enough category, then held after improvement in the reflection of the second meeting of the average value increased by 3.61 with good category. Based on the analysis of the data and the discussion in obtain the conclusion that the implementation of cooperative learning model STAD types used as actions that are done in SDN 78 Pekanbaru has been able to improve the results of learning mathematics students in the classroom VB especially on the subject of learning the operation count mixed with whole numbers. It is expected that the teachers at SDN 78 Pekanbaru in order to implement cooperative learning model STAD types on the lessons of mathematics as one of the alternative learning that can improve the results of student learning.
