Abstract

Islamic finance is a form of financial system that as a whole uses concepts and principles that are derived from the values contained in Islamic law, namely the Quran and Hadith. It often happens that the application of Islamic social finance has not been optimal, providing benefits for the welfare of the community in general and expecting blessings from Allah. The implementation of Islamic social finance can be done by establishing an effective zakat fund management program so that through this program it is very helpful for the community, meeting needs and helping micro business capital. The problem that often occurs is that the recipients have not been maximized the use of the capital assistance provided so that it does not provide results for the long term. So that it is not able to improve the welfare of the wider ummah, an integrated program in managing Islamic social finance from institutions can be the optimal solution in helping to improve people's lives more prosperously.

Abstract

Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) plays a pivotal role in Indonesia’s economic growth. However, its realization is significantly influenced by various economic factors, particularly macroeconomic stability. This study aims to analyze the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) in the previous period, inflation, gross domestic product (GDP) in the previous period, and the economic crisis dummy on foreign direct investment (FDI) in Indonesia. The study utilizes annual time series data covering the period from 1995 to 2023. A quantitative approach is employed, applying a multiple regression model analyzed using the Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) method. The findings indicate that, simultaneously, foreign direct investment (FDI) in the previous period, inflation, gross domestic product (GDP) in the previous period, and the economic crisis dummy significantly influence foreign direct investment (FDI) in Indonesia. Partially, foreign direct investment (FDI) in the previous period has a significant and positive effect, inflation has a significant and negative effect, and gross domestic product (GDP) in the previous period has a significant and positive effect. Meanwhile, the economic crisis dummy does not have any significant impact on the constructed model.

Abstract

Regional revenue refers to all income received by a region, sourced from various components that contribute to the increase in the region's net wealth. High Regional Original Income (PAD) can be an indicator that the implementation of regional autonomy is effective, where local governments have the ability to finance various development activities independently without relying solely on funds from the central government. This study aims to analyze the impact of several factors on PAD in the regencies and cities of Banten Province from 2016 to 2020, using panel data regression analysis. The factors analyzed include Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB), population, government expenditure, and Regional Minimum Wage (UMR). The results of the validity test with the Fixed Effects model approach show that population size has a positive impact on PAD, meaning that the larger the population, the greater the potential revenue from taxes and levies. Conversely, government expenditure has a negative effect on PAD, indicating that an increase in government expenditure in the short term may reduce the PAD available to the region. Meanwhile, the PDRB and UMR variables did not show a significant impact on PAD during the analyzed period, highlighting the complexity of the relationship between economic factors and regional income, which requires further attention in regional development policies.

Abstract

Poverty is an economic challenge that almost all countries struggle with globally, and Indonesia as a developing country is no exception. This study aims to assess the impact of School Enrolment Rate, Population Growth Rate, and Open Unemployment Rate on poverty in Indonesia. This study uses OLS (Ordinary Least Square) as its analysis technique, which is a scientific method that is a statistical tool used to estimate regression coefficients with least squares solution, using data on Indonesia's School Enrolment Rate, Population Growth Rate recorded at the Central Statistics Agency of Indonesia, and the last variable is the Open Unemployment Rate in all regions of Indonesia. The three elements will then be formulated in such a way that will then become variables as an analytical tool in this scientific study. The outcomes of this research conclude that the School Participation Rate (APS) has a significant influence on the poverty rate in Indonesia. In order to reduce the poverty rate in Indonesia, it is essential to recognise the vital importance of education. However, Population Growth Rate and Open Unemployment Rate do not show a significant influence on poverty in Indonesia.

Abstract

Objective  Lampung Province's Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) from 2014 to 2024 as a function of government spending, household consumption, HDI, and exports is the target of this research.  The researchers in this study used multiple linear regression techniques as part of their quantitative methodology.  Traditional assumption tests, such as evaluations of normality, autocorrelation, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity, are employed in this study, which employs secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Lampung Province. The results of the study show that all independent variables, namely government spending, household consumption, HDI, and exports, have a positive and significant effect on GRDP. Household consumption is the main factor in economic growth, where high purchasing power increases demand for goods and services. Exports also make a positive contribution by increasing regional income and foreign exchange. In addition, government spending plays a role in supporting infrastructure development, education, and health, which ultimately drives economic growth. HDI also has a positive impact, indicating that improving the quality of human resources through better education and health can increase labor productivity and regional economic growth. This finding confirms that regional economic policies need to be focused on strengthening household consumption, increasing export competitiveness, optimizing government spending, and investing in human resource development. With the right strategy, economic growth in Lampung Province can continue to increase sustainably.

Abstract

This study seeksto examine impact of inflation on economic growth within a macroeconomic framework. The analysis utilizes time series gauging spanning from 1991 to 2024. A simpe linear regression model wa employed, along with the coefficient of determination and t-statistical test, facilitated through the use of Eviews 12 Software. The findings reveal that inflation exert a atatistically significant negative effect on national economic growth. The coefficient of determination indicates that 70,76 percen of the variation in economic growth is a accounted fot by the inflation variabel. Furthermore, the result of the t-test confirm that inflation significantly influences economic growth in the Indonesia context.
