Abstract

This research is aimed to know the effect of service and profit sharing to the customer’s saving decision at Medan Chief Branch Office of Syariah Medan Bank and also to know the most dominant  factor which affects the customer’s saving decision. This research is a descriptive research with study case approach supported by survey method. The result of  F-test and t-test  indicated that service and profit sharing have positive effect and significant to customer’s saving decision in Medan Chief Branch Office of Syariah Bank.. Based on the  standardized coefficient, it can be known that belief variable partially has dominant effect than service and profit sharing variables. The adjusted R square regression result is 36,2 % which showed that independent variable    (service and profit sharing) can explain 36,2 % to dependent variable (saving decision).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan peluang berwirausaha untuk meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat melalui pembentukan jaringan usaha yang melibatkan ibu-ibu yang tergabung di majlis taklim. Respoden yang dijadikan unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu-ibu anggota majlis taklim yang terhimpun di dalam organisasi Aisyiyah di Kota Medan, yang tergabung di cabang Aisyiyah Sukaramai, Aisyiah cabang Dwikora dan Aisyiyah cabang Simalingkar.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (research development). Jenis penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif. Penelitian deskriptif bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi tentang jaringan usaha dan kerajinan masyarakat. Data diperoleh melalui survey dengan menyebarkan kuesioner, wawancara dan observasi kepada sejumlah responden yang menjadi sampel penelitian. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif . Hasil penelitian ini telah dibentuk jaringan usaha.

Abstract

Micro enterprise is a business that is run by individuals with limited capital and small-scale businesses, selling goods is limited to certain. Micro-businesses generate income Indonesia the third largest community, which shows micro businesses have to absorb the amount of labor that is high enough.But a lot of things that cause difficulty in the growth of micro-enterprises. The amount of competition that causes micro-enterprises are often under pressure so it is difficult to develop. This study aims to know the condition of micro enterprises that focuses on community-managed businesses and are in residential areas such as shops, kiosks and stalls. Seeing the condition of the existing micro-enterprises and the results can serve as guidelines to overcome the problems that occur so that micro businesses can grow and thrive. The using of research method is a survey research to know the condition and ability of micro-enterprises in developing the business and see what obstacles that hinder the development of micro-enterprises. The  research of population is micro businesses, such as shops, kiosks and shops belonging to people who are in residential areas in five subdistrict of Medan. Questionnaire, interview and observation data collection techniques are used. The research  of data were analyzed by using a single frequency tables and descriptive analysis.

Abstract

Perilaku konsumen berpengaruh didalam pengambilan keputusan nasabahmenggunakan jasa perbankan, beberapa faktor diantaranya adalah kualitas pelayanandan bagi hasil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitaspelayanan dan bagi hasil terhadap keputusan menabung nasabah di Bank SyariahMandiri di Kota Medan dan faktor yang mendominasi.Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengngan pendekatananmetode survey. Data penelitian diperoleh dari 150 respoden nasabah bank syariahmandiri dengan menyebar angket menggunakan skala likert. Teknik analisis datamenggunakan regresi linier berganda, uji t, uji F dan koefisien determinasi.Hasil persamaan Y = 6,808+ 0,113 X1 + 0,114X2 bahwa kualitas pelayanan dan bagihasil searah dengan keputusan menabung nasabah. Nilai R Square sebesar 0,235, inimenunjukkan variabel pelayanan dan bagi hasil menjelaskan 23,5 % terhadapvariabel terikatnya yaitu keputusan menabung. Sedangkan sisanya 76,5 % dijelaskanvariable yang tidak lain diteliti

Abstract

Micro-enterprise as a business that absorbs the most labor and occupy the third position of the wheels of the economy. In its development, micro business still experience obstacles, making it difficult to compete especially when dealing with franchise business. Various obstacles are faced by micro business actors will be solved by solving from the factors of business development. This study aims to apply the model of micro business development in Medan City. The model is expected to assist micro businesses to be able to compete and thrive, with fostering the businessmen through the program and entrepreneurship skills. The research method used is Action Research. The study was conducted in three stages. The first stage was the survey mapping the conditions and capabilities of micro-enterprises. The second stage was analyzing the factors of micro business development and socialization. The third stage was implementation of micro enterprise development factor and to see the change of micro business.

Abstract

Purpose The purpose of this research is to formulate a measurement model of Emotional Exhaustion for non-permanent lecturers with SEM-PLS at Private Islamic Higher Education (PTAIS) in North Sumatra.Methodology The research population is all non-permanent lecturers of Private Islamic Higher Education (PTAIS) in North Sumatra. To determine the sample size, Maximum Likelihood estimation is used in the Structural Equation Model (SEM). Therefore, based on the need for researchers to use data analysis techniques using the Structural Equation Model and also because later the maximum likelihood estimation technique will be used which requires a sample size of 100-200 samples, the researcher will take a sample of 100-200 non-permanent lecturers. The analytical method used is SEM-PLS analysis.Findings The results showed that there was a significant effect of Role Conflict on Emotional Exhaustion. There is a significant effect of Self Efficacy on Emotional Exhaustion. There is a significant influence of Leadership on Emotional Exhaustion. There is a significant effect of Emotional Exhaustion on Job Satisfaction. There is a significant effect of Role Conflict on Job Satisfaction. There is a significant effect of Self Efficacy on Job Satisfaction. There is a significant influence of Leadership on Job Satisfaction. There is no significant effect of Leadership on Job Satisfaction through Emotional Exhaustion. There is no significant effect of Role Conflict on Job Satisfaction through Emotional Exhaustion. And there can be no significant effect of Self efficacy on Job Satisfaction through Emotional ExhaustionOriginality/Novelty The research model uses five (5) variables and applies the concept of mediation, where each relationship in the research model is analyzed by SEM-PLS.Implications This study has shown that Emotional Exhaustion does not have a mediating effect on the influence of leadership, self-efficacy and role conflict on job satisfaction. Starting from the results of this study, the recommendation for further research is to try to analyze or use the Emotional Exhaustion variable as an independent variable, not as a mediating variable.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan model perilaku konsumen dalam pemilihan online shop Instagram. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Swasta di Kota Medan yang sudah pernah melakukan pembelian pada online shop Instagram minimal 1 (satu) kali. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah  data primer. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu daftar pertanyaan (Questionaire) dan  wawancara (Interview). Analisis data dengan menggunakan model SEM (Structural Equation Modelling) dibantu dengan program Lisrel 8.80. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan produk (product involvement) berpengaruh positif terhadap persepsi resiko (perceived risk) pada online shop Instagram. Persepsi resiko (perceived risk) berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan konsumen (customer satisfaction) pada online shop Instagram. Persepsi resiko (Perceived Risk) berpengaruh positif terhadap kepercayaan konsumen (customer trust) pada online shop Instagram. Kepercayaan konsumen (customer trust) berpengaruh positif terhadap niat beli (Purchase Intention) pada online shop Instagram.  Kepuasan konsumen (customer satisfaction) berpengaruh positif terhadap niat beli (purchase intention) pada online shop Instagram

Abstract

Abstrak: Total penduduk Indonesia berjumlah sekitar 260 juta jiwa dan mayoritas beragama Islam. Tingkat kemiskinan sebesar 13.5%. Secara tidak langsung ini memperlihatkan bahwa kondisi perekonomian umat Islam masih berada dalam posisi di bawah garis kemiskinan. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengembangan usaha mikro dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi kaum Muslim di kota Medan. Penelitian ini menyimpulan bahwa pengembangan ekonomi umat terkendala oleh kendala struktural. Untuk mengatasinya perlu perubahan konsep struktural agar memudahkan mereka dalam pengembangan usaha mikro. Dengan cara itu, mereka memiliki daya saing tinggi sehingga dapat meningkatkan perekonomian. Pada akhirnya, kaum Muslim dapat membantu Muslim lain secara ekonomis agar dapat hidup menjadi lebih layak. Pemberdayaan ekonomi umat dapat dilakukan melalui pengembangan usaha mikro dengan memberikan solusi terhadap masalah apa yang dihadapi, memberikan pengetahuan tentang cara untuk mengembangkan usaha mikro yang dijalankannya, dan memotivasi dan menambah kemampuan berwirausaha melalui penerapan program kewirausahaan. Abstract: The Development of Micro Entrepreneurship in Muslim Economy Empowerment in the City of Medan. Of the 260 million of the total population of Indonesia was dominated by Muslims, with a poverty rate of 13.5%. The data indirectly demonstrate that the condition of Muslims economy is still under poverty. This article examines the development of Muslims micro economic empowerment in Medan. This article found that constraints development of economic community are the structural constraints, so that economic empowerment must be done through structural changes in order to facilitate their concept in developing micro economic. As such, they can be highly competitive in order to boost the economy. Finally, Muslims can help one another in economy in order to live more properly. The Muslim economic empowerment can be done through the development of micro enterprises by providing solutions to any problems that encountered, providing knowledge on how to develop micro economic that have been done, and to motivate and increase entrepreneurship skills through the application of entrepreneurial programs. Kata Kunci: ekonomi Islam, usaha mikro, pemberdayaan, Medan

Abstract

Penelitian memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi dan iklim organisasi terhadap kinerja dosen dengan Organizational citizenship behavior sebagai variable mediasi pada Dosen Perguruan Tinggi Swasta di Medan. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh Dosen pada Perguruan Tinggi Swasta (PTS) yang ada di Medan dosen yang memiliki fungsional. Dalam penelitian ini hanya dibatasi pada dosen Dosen yang memiliki jabatan fungsional Asisten Ahli, Lektor dan Lektor Kepala yang berdomisili di Medan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan Model Persamaan Struktural. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap organizational citizenship behavior, motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja dosen, iklim organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap organizational citizenship behavior, iklim organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja dosen dan organizational citizenship behavior berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja Dosen Perguruan Tinggi Swasta di Medan. Serta motivasi kerja dan iklim organisasi berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Dosen melalui variabel Organizational Citizenship Behaviour.  Oleh karena itu penelitian ini, mendorong pihak Manajemen Perguruan Tinggi Swasta di Medan harus dapat membangun iklim organisasi yang baik dengan menjalin hubungan yang harmonis antara dosen dengan pemimpin maupun dosen dengan dosen lainnya dan pihak Manajemen Perguruan Tinggi dapat meningkatkan motivasi dosen dengan memberikan fasilitas yang nyaman, agar para dosen dalam menjalankan aktivitasnya berjalan dengan baik dan nantinya akan meningkatkan kinerja dosen.

Abstract

In companies, it is often found that there are employees who come late, are less careful in their work, do not feel enough about their salaries and several complaints related to employee motivation. These problems are closely related to the work results of employees in the company. The purpose of this study was to determine whether compensation and motivation together (simultaneously) or separately (partially) have a significant effect on employee performance at PT. XYZ Medan. This research is a causal associative study using a quantitative approach. The sample in this study amounted to 82 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that compensation and motivation simultaneously had a significant effect on employee performance at PT. XYZ Medan, partial compensation has a significant effect on employee performance at PT. XYZ Medan and motivation partially have a significant effect on employee performance at PT. XYZ Medan.Keywords: Compensation, Motivation, and Employee Performance
