Abstract

Abztract: Azotobacter is one group of aerobic bacteria that colonizes root surfaces and is able to produce glyceroline promoting substances, cytokines and Indole Acetate Acid (IAA). Azotobacter can be found in the rhizosphere of various types of plants, such as soy rhizosphere (Glycinemax L.), rhizosphere palm (Elaeis guineensis), coffee (Coffea arabica), and corn (Zea mays). Rhizosphere is a soil zone that surrounds the roots of plants where biology and soil chemistry are affected by roots. This zone has a width of about 1 mm. In this study rhizosphere used is rhizosphere coffea Robusta plant. The purpose of this research is to know the isolated Azotobacter isolate from the rhiszosphere of Robusta coffee plant which attacked by Pratylenchus coffeae parasite parasite from Kalibendo plantation, Banyuwangi. The type of research used is explorative research. In this research successfully obtained 5 bacterial isolates. The result showed that from isolate isolate, 4 isolates were genus Azotobacter while 1 isolate was not known. Keyword: Azotobacter; Plant parasitic nematodes, Rhizosphere.

Abstract

Abstrack: At present it is using digital air measurements using much better analytical functions in the field using digital measurements that have accuracy weaknesses. Developing a condensation device into the air oxygen meter uses two methods: prioritizing Saltzman and Winkler, this corresponds to the contents in the air directly with air and oxygen. Development of atmospheric atmospheric condensation equipment for example ambient air oxygen concentration measuring generator, carried out with the R2D2 development model with a calibration process based on independent sample test Calibration T-test error test with digital titration and electrochemical methods, In addition to the significance of the measurement result is sig value 0.280 > 0, 05 and the calibration measurement results of the tool developed with a digital meter tool obtained the significance of the results that the sig value of 0.254 > 0.05 there was no difference between several samples using the method used. Abstract

Abstract: Meru Betiri National park has a region part, it’s reference zone and rehabilitation zone. Referensi zone is a conservation area that have to protect from damage by human interference to protect flora, fauna and other environmental component for importance of next generation. Rehabilitation zone was damaged without original vegetation and be a seasonal land farm. Termites is a important part of insect in material recycling of plant trhough disintegration process. The aim of the research are to knowing types of termites and to knowing the different of termites diversity in referensi zone and rehabilitation zone Meru Betiri National Park. Research methods by used direct sampling. The result of research has get 2 species founded, that’s Macrotermes gilvus Hagen (mayor), Macrotermes gilvus Hagen (minor) and Nasutitermes metangensis with totally 194 individual. Index of species diversity (H’) in the reference zone = 0, it's caused there are only one species founded and index of species diversity (H’) in rehabilitation zone = 1,036. It can be concluded that diversity of species on both has a different level diversity although same on low diversity. Kata Kunci: Indeks Keanekaragaman Spesies; Taman Nasional Meru Betiri; Rayap.

Abstract

Abstract: Granules extract of clime fruit (Citrus aurantifolia L.) is a biolarvasida in eradicating Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae L. Granules extract of lime fruit (Citrus aurantifolia L.) can kill mosquito larvae because its content of limonoida, tannin, flavonoid, and volatile oil. The compound is lethal to the larvae which will enter the body of the larvae of the Aedes aegypti L. mosquito which disrupts the systems in its body. The purpose of this article is to determine the safety of lime fruit (Citrus aurantifolia L.) extract granules on non-target animals, namely tadpoles. Tadpole has the same habitat with mosquito larvae so it is done safety test of citrus fruit extract granule (Citrus aurantifolia L.). Tadpole is a larval phase in Amphibi that continues to experience morphological development in water. The initial phase of tadpoles growth is a phase of adaptation to its habitat. Individuals who can not adapt well will experience a faster death. The research method used is laboratory experimental. The analysis used is ANOVA. The independent variables in this study were the variety of granules extract concentration of citrus fruit (Citrus aurantifolia L.). Tadpole mortality became the dependent variable in this study. Tadpole mortality is characterized by tadpoles collapsing at the time of administration of granules. The results showed that the lime extract granules (Citrus aurantifolia L.) proved safe. Abstract

Abstract: Education can be used as a benchmark for how good the quality of a country is. Good and good education starts from a good and systematic learning system. The previous 2013 curriculum objectives show that students are required to think higher in terms of the relationship between science and the surrounding environment. One of the abilities in accordance with the 2013 curriculum is scientific literacy skills. the advancement of the era resulted in the increasing competitiveness of the nation when it entered the ASEAN Economic Community (MEA) which enabled the existence of scientific work products accompanied by scientific literacy abilities which were made as obligations to be studied in this century. 1. Abstract

Salah satu penyakit yang biasanya menyerang tanaman padi di Kecamatan Sungai Kakap Kabupaten Kubu Raya yaitu penyakit yang disebabkan oleh jamur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiagnosa penyakit yang disebabkan oleh jamur pada tanaman Padi (Oryza sativa) di sawah penduduk Kecamatan Sungai Kakap, Kabupaten Kubu Raya, Kalimantan Barat. Sampel diambil di lahan persawahan milik petani yang merupakan masyarakat di Sungai Kakap, Kabupaten Kubu Raya, Kalimantan Barat. Diagnosa penyakit disebabkan oleh jamur dilakukan dengan cara memotong beberapa helai daun padi yang terserang penyakit dan telah ditumbuhi miselium jamur. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan ditemukan adanya penyakit layu daun yang diduga disebabkan oleh jamur anggota spesies Fusarium sp., penyakit hawar daun yang diduga disebabkan oleh jamur anggota spesies Helminthosporium sp., penyakit hawar pelepah daun yang diduga disebabkan oleh jamur anggota spesies Rizhoctonia sp., dan penyakit bercak daun coklat sempit yang diduga disebabkan oleh jamur anggota spesies Cercospora oryzae. Abstract

Abstract: Giving mycorrhizae to increase phosphate uptake to arabica coffee seedlings. This research is laboratory experimental. The study was conductes for eight weeks. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of mycorrhiza +MHB on phosphate uptake and degree of root infection of coffee seeds. This research used Complete Random Design (RAL) with four levels of 0 g (m0), 5 g (m1) 10 g (m2), 15 g (m3). The data obtained were analyzed using Anova and LSD advanced test. From the results of this study can be concluded that giving mycorrhiza +MHB significantly influence on phosphate uptake and degree of root infection of arabica coffee seedlings (Coffea arabica L.) Treatment with 15 g of mycorrhiza +MHB showed the best results on phosphate uptake and degree of root infection with other treatment. Keywords: Coffea arabica L., phosphate uptake, mycorrhiza, MHB.

Abstract

Abstract: Utilization of earthworms (Pheretima javanica K.) other than as a soil fertilizing organism is an alternative treatment for typhoid fever as a traditional medicine and provided in the form of whole powder. This study was conducted to determine the toxicity effects of earthworm powder on kidneys in white rats (Rattus norvegicus). Total of 50 white rats were divided into five groups consisting of negative control (2 ml CMC Na 1%), group P1 0,4 grams, group P2 0,8 grams, P3 group 1.6 grams, and P4 group 3.2 grams of dry earthworm powder. White mice were then acclimated for approximately one week and induced with dry earthworm powder orally. The study was conducted for 14 days to see the description of the toxic effects caused. The results of data analysis using ANOVA showed that each dose of dry earthworm powder had no effect on kidney function of white rats (Rattus norvegicus). Abstract

Students in the agroecosystem area have self-motivation to follow low learning which causes their learning outcomes lower. It can be increased by applying Brain-Based Learning (BBL) approach combined with Send A-Problem (SAP) collaborative learning model. This is a development research using 4-D model. Only 3 stages were chosen; define, design, and develop. The research aims to produce a valid, practical and effective SAP based on BBL to increase students' metacognitive awareness and learning outcomes. The average of product validation is 88 (very valid category). The average percentage of students' metacognitive awareness was 66.31 (developing category) before the application and 85.85 (very good category) after the application of the learning. Normalized gain analysis result is 0.62 referred to medium category, which means that there is an increase in student learning outcomes. The average percentage of student (84.33%) and teacher responses (98%) is included in the very practical category.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to explore ethnomatematics in the activities of cocoa farmers to create the teaching materials for students in the form of the packages of test. The type of research was qualitative research with ethnographic approaches. The data collection method used were observation and interview. The research subjects were six people. The ethnomatematics included the activity of counting, measuring, and designing. This study focused on determining the estimated number of trees based on its distance and area by using stakes (patok), determining the fertilization model based on the fertilization time and the planting age, determining the number of workers based on the land area, and estimating yields.
