Abstract

Based on data from the Religious Affairs Office (KUA) in the village of Perhentian Sungkai the data obtained in 2012 that 43.75% of the couples who perform marriages still in their teens. Number of couples getting married in the teenage years from 2010 to 2012 has increased. Marriage in their teens has been going on from the previous years. The purpose of this study was to describe the factors driving teen age marriage and describe the welfare conditions of households were married in their teens in the village of Perhentian Sungkai Sub-district Pucuk Rantau Regency Kuantan Singingi Riau. The theory used in this study is the theory of family well-being contained in Law No. 10 of 1992 concerning limitation prosperous family.This study used a qualitative approach whereas this type of research is descriptive. Informants in this study were a married couple and the teen years. Data was collected by observation and direct interviews. The researcher also did a study that documents supporting data and evidence used by the author to support the data collection. Analysis of the data using the model Milles and Huberman.From research conducted in the village of Perhentian Sungkai can be concluded that the motivating factor in the Village wedding teens stop Sungkai is: for reasons of promiscuity, education and their own desires. Economic conditions that couples married in their teens stop Sungkai village is a category Prosperous I and II.

Abstract

Establishment of tourism development in an area can improve peoples lives, because of the many available jobs and could open up new ventures, associated with reality in lapanagan in the know that the founding attraction Waterboom Muaro Kalaban social and economic impacts after the waterboom. The purpose of this study is to describe how social and economic impacts after the waterboom attractions in the Village District Muaro Kalaban Silungkang Sawahlunto.This study used a qualitative approach and descriptive bertipekan, collecting data by interviewing multiple informants are people and community leaders such as village head Muaro Kalaban, Head of Dusun Sawah Mine, merchants around waterboom and in the parking area and the existing waterboom around objects waterboom tour. No informant Pemeilihan this study using purposive sampling technique. Types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Method of data collection was done in three ways (1) observation, (2) in-depth interviews, and (3) documentation. The unit of analysis is the group. Used data analysis is divided into three, namely (1) data reduction, (2) The presentation of the data, and (3) Conclusion.The results revealed that after the founding of attraction Waterboom Muaro Kalaban social and economic impacts. Social impacts arising divided into two, namely positive and negative impacts, while the negative impact that imitate the dress and behavior of swimming, religious values people have started to fade. While the positive impact of increased education and better relations interaction. Economic impacts arising that is the creation of jobs for the people, rising incomes, a community initiative ntuk build shophouses, increased facilities and infrastructure such as roads.

Abstract

Nagari Koto Baru Society is a Multicultural society consisting of a variety of ethnic groups , where each tribe had a different culture . Although the Nagari Koto Baru has a diversity of ethnic groups , but in Nagari Koto Baru conflict never happened . In this study that will be examined is what causes the multicultural society in Nagari Koto Baru District Luhak Nan Duo West Pasaman avoid conflict and how the multicultural society strategies in Nagari Koto Baru in avoiding conflict . The research was conducted for the three months May to July. The analysis in this study using structural and functional theories of conflict strategies . The method used is descriptive method with qualitative approach . Data collection tools such as in-depth interviews , non - participant observation , and document . This research was conducted on 23 informants , with the aim of describing the cause of the multicultural society in Nagari Koto Baru District Luhak Nan Duo West Pasaman in avoiding conflict and multicultural society strategies in Nagari Koto Baru District Luhak Nan Duo West Pasaman in avoiding conflict. Research in the field indicates that the cause of the multicultural society in Nagari Koto Baru District Luhak Nan Duo West Pasaman avoid conflicts caused by two factors: solidarity and marital factors. Strategy undertaken by Nagari Koto Baru in avoiding conflict is to make a process of cooperation , accommodation and assimilation

Abstract

The background of the problem on this research was using projection as learning media which is un-maximal used by some teachers in SMAN 12 Padang. The writer formulated the research question about what blocked and stimulated factors are used in projection media of sociology at class XI IPS SMAN 12 Padang. The aim of the research was to find out blocked and stimulated factors are used in projection media of sociology at class XI IPS SMAN 12 Padang.This research used qualitative method. Type of the research is descriptive. The subject of this research was sociology teachers and students of class XI IPS. The sources of this research consisted of primary data were collected by interview and observation, and secondary data were collected from school. The technique of collecting data was interview, observation, and documentation. The technique of analyzing data was collection of data, data reduction, display data, and conclusion.The result of the research showed that sociology teachers have used projection as learning media. However, it was not optimal used. 1) The stimulated factor of using projection were; a) increasing students’ interest and motivation in learning, b) Learning process became easy to understand and comprehended, c) Giving contribution to teacher and students in improving learning activity. 2) The blocked factor of using projection was; a) Limited projection, b) Teacher was uncreative in elaborating power-points and films.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the problems and circumstances Trunk Arau Village Community Environment Southern District of Padang City. In this case to see how environmental conditions and circumstances masyarakatnya. Purose this study is to describe 1 ). Community Efforts to Improve Environmental Hygiene in the village of Batang Arau. 2 ). Constraints in Improving Public Health in Urban Environment Batang Arau. Methods The study used a qualitative approach with descriptive type. Intake of informants used by purposive sampling. The type of data in this study there are two primary data and secondary data. The data collection technique is the technique of interview, observation and documentation, using a tool such as interview guides, books, pens and cell phone. After the data were analyzed by means of the data is reduced, data display and data verification ( conclusion ). The results of the study revealed tha, 1 ) Community efforts to improve environmental hygiene in the village of Batang Arau, namely: ( a ) Mutual Aid, ( b ) Procurement trash every home residents, ( c ) Throw garbage into the garbage containers provided by the Government, ( d ) Burning trash, ( e ) Rework garbage, ( f ) Reduce usage of materials that could be rubbish. 2 ) Obstacle in the improvement of environmental hygiene in the village of Batang Arau, namely: ( a ) Lack of public awareness, ( b ) Lack of socialization, ( c ) Trash submissions from the next village, ( d ) The location of the tank is not quite right, ( e  ) The lack of trash from city office, ( f  ) The state of the damaged bins.

Abstract

The low due to lack of student learning outcomes varied learning model used by the teacher in the learning process . Though many instructional model used , one model of Problem Based Learning therefore, this study was conducted in order to see the significance of the model of Problem Based Learning to the student learning outcomes in subjects high school sociology class XI IPS SMA Semen Padang . This type of research is experimental research . The population in this study were all high school students of class XI IPS Semen Padang, which consists of 3 classes . The sampling technique is done randomly , class XI IPS3 as experimental class and class XI IPS2 as the control class . The instrument used in this study is the final test . Form of the test used is a form of multiple choice test reliability is r_11 = 0.84 . Based on the analysis of data obtained final test average student learning outcomes experimental class was 80.75 higher compared to the control class is 64.69 . Data analysis obtained t_hitung = 4.355 greater than t_tabel = 1.67 . Thus , it can be concluded that the model of Problem Based Learning as a model of learning that provides a positive impact on student learning outcomes .

Abstract

Status gizi merupakan faktor yang berhubungan dan beresiko terdahap kejadian stunting pada balita. Permasalahannya adalah berbagai penelitian menemukan adanya keterbatasan pengetahuan sebagian masyarakat tentang  gizi seimbang untuk balita, sehingga praktek dan kebiasaan makan anak yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan gizi seimbang relatif sulit diterapkan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat tentang pentingnya peran dan kepedulian keluarga dalam upaya pemenuhan kebutuhan gizi pada balita. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada tanggal 9 juni 2023, dengan metode presentasi dan diskusi. Hasil dari kegiatan adalah untuk meningkatnya pengetahuan dan kepedulian keluarga terhadap kecukupan gizi balita dalam upaya penanggulangan stunting pada balita.

Abstract

Diagnostic assessment is an initial evaluation conducted before or during the learning process to determine students' abilities, characteristics, strengths, and weaknesses. Students' low understanding of the material and a lack of attention to diverse learning styles make the learning process less effective. This research aims to examine the influence of non-cognitive diagnostic assessment on the learning styles of sociology students in Class X at SMAN 1 Salimpaung.The theory used in this research is constructivism according to Jean Piaget. The method employed is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The population for this study comprises Class X Phase E students, and the sample is Class X E2, with the researchers using Purposive Sampling to select the sample. The research instruments used include questionnaires, observation, and document study. Data for this study were collected through questionnaires distributed to 32 students and observations during the learning process. The questionnaire consisted of 32 statements regarding visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. Data analysis in this study involved validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing, linearity testing, and hypothesis testing.The results of this study indicate that there is a diversity of student learning styles in Class X E2 SMAN 1 Salimpaung, with the visual learning style being more dominant. The application of non-cognitive diagnostic assessment significantly influenced students' understanding of their learning style characteristics. Consequently, teachers can more easily design appropriate learning strategies and improve student learning outcomes. It is recommended that teachers regularly conduct this assessment to make the teaching and learning process more effective and enjoyable for students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh peserta didik rendahnya kemampuan peserta didik  dalam memecahkan masalah melalui model pembelajaran berbasis project dikelas X SMA N 1 Sutera.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengganalisis upaya meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam memecahkan masalah melalui model pembelajaran berbasis project dikelas X SMA N 1 Sutera Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dirumuskan oleh Lewin yang terdiri dari empat komponen yakni 1) Perencanaan 2) Tindakan 3) Pengamatan 4) Refleksi. Data penelitian  ini berupa  data hasil tindakan yang diperoleh dari hasil data  pengamatan ,hasil belajar peserta didik,dan penilitian ini dilakukan 2 siklus.Teknik pengumpulan data ini adalah observasi dan dokumentasi.Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Teori Konstruktivisme ,yang dikembangkan oleh tokoh Lev Vygotsky. Hasil penelitian pada siklus 1 diperoleh nilai skor rata- rata 313,2 dengan presentase 78,3% dan meningkat pada siklus II nilai skor rata -rata 344,2 dengan presentase 85,62%. Artinya  pada siklus II target penelitian sudah tercapai .Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis project dapat meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik  dalam hasil belajar peserta didik yaitu dari siklus I 78,8% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 82,62%.

Abstract

Learning is an active interaction process between individuals and their environment that can lead to positive behavioral changes. This study aims to empirically examine the effect of using the Pijar Sekolah application as a learning medium on the effectiveness of Sociology learning at Al-Istiqamah Senior High School, West Pasaman Regency. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method. Primary data were collected through questionnaires, while secondary data were obtained from school documents. A purposive sampling technique was used to select 40 students from grade X, phases E1 to E8. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 25, preceded by descriptive analysis, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing (t-test and F-test). The results showed that the use of the Pijar Sekolah application had a significant effect on student learning outcomes, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) and a t-value of 3.082, indicating that the alternative hypothesis is accepted. The novelty of this research lies in the application of Pijar Sekolah as a digital learning medium in Sociology subjects at the senior high school level, which remains underexplored in previous empirical studies, particularly in the West Pasaman region.
