This research of background by studentâs livelines is lack and comprehension of math concept are still low at seventh grade students SMPN 1 South Rao. This research aims to determinethe studentsâ comprehension of math concept in seventh grade students SMPN 1 South Rao that apply active learning strategies Index Card Match type accompanied of Topical Review better than studentsâ comprehension of math concept that apply conventional learning. The type of research is experimental by using randomized control group only design. The techniques of sample collection taken by randomly. Research instrument in the form of final tes. The kind of test that used is essay with test reliability 0,886. The techniques of data analysis using the t test. The result of hypothesis test obtained  and  because the  more than  then the hypothesis in this research received. In conclusion, studentâs comprehension of math concept that apply active learning strategies Index Card Match type accompanied by Topical Review better than studentâs comprehension of math concept that apply conventional learning.

The background of this research is the low of the studentâs understanding of mathematical concepts, so that most of the studentâs get the score under Criteria Minimum Masteri (KKM), the students do not active a long the learning process. The purpose of this research is to sint out the studentâs learning activiti a long the application of kooperatif learning type Talking Stick and to now that the studentâs understanding mathematical concept by using learning Talking Stick strategi more better than the studentâs understanding of mathematical concepts by using conventional learning in class IX of SMP Semen Padang. The study of this research is experimental, by design random experiment to ward tha subject. The population of this study is studentâs of class IXSMP Semen Padang that consist of five classes. The sampel take by using random sampling tecnique.The instrument of this research is the observation paper of studentâs activities and the test of understanding mathematical concept. The technique of analyzing data of this research is T-test one hide by MINITAB. So that researcer can conclude that It the students understanding of mathematical concepts by using kooperatif learning type talking stick better than students with an understanding of the mathematical concept learning in class IX conventional SMP Semen Padang.Keywords:kooperatif Learning, Class Concern, Understanding Concepts

The background of this research is result of studentsâs mathematic value that less cause they do not have a brave to ask and give argument. The purpose of this research to know the result of studentsâs mathematic value using The Power of Two as an active learning strategy better than the usual learning in seven class SMP N 4 Sutera. The kind of his research is experiment research. Population of this research is students in seven class SMP N 4 Sutera Period 2012-2013, consist of seven class. The choose is VII.I class as an experiment and VII. 3 class as a control class. The instrument is result of the test. The form test is essay with reliability test r11 = 0,79. Based on data analyzing, two sample is normal distributed and do not homogen, so using test. The concluded of this result of studentsâs mathematic value is using The Power of Two as an active learning strategy better than the usual learning in seven class SMP N 4 Sutera Period 2012-2013.

This research is motivated by the studentâs of mathematical concepts is low, one of the solution applying technique spotlight. The purpose of the researching to know did studentâs mathematic concept comprehension by applying technique spotlight better than studentâs mathematic concept by using conventional studying class VIII SMPN 8 Sawahlunto 2013-2014 school year. This type of research is experimental. Population is all students in grade VIII SMPN 8 Sawahlunto 2013-2014 school year. Technique of random sampling, VIII1 as experimental class and VIII 2 as control class.instrument of this research is post test in essai. The relibiatation of post test is 0,77. Technique of data analysis was T-test by using MINITAB softaware. Based on the result of data analyisis at  got P-value 0,004. The P-value less than  it can be concluded studentâs mathematic concept comprehension by applying technique spotlight better than studentâs mathematic concept by using conventional studying class VIII SMPN 8 Sawahlunto 2013-2014 school year.

This research was motivated by the low of studentsâ achievement, it cause the less optimal of students in response to the learning,  the students just keep silent when the teacher asked, and just accept what the teacher teaches. This research is  aims to determine whether the results of students mathematics in learning with implementing of cooperative learning type Team Assisted Individualization with portfolio was better than the result of conventional learning mathematics of  grade students VII SMPN 3 Sungai Limau Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. type of this research is experimental research by using the random subject. Based on the value of learning outcomes that uses the type Team Assisted Individualization portfolio is accompanied by increase of the data analysis showed that the average value of the experimental class was 78.70 higher than the control class 65.67. It can be concluded that, the studentsâ result by applying the type of Team Assisted Individualization with portfolio is better than conventional learning outcomes.

In this era, there were so many students did not understand about mathematical well, it can prove by many students who gets low score. The purpose of this research to know the improvement of the lesson activity of students in VIII SMPN 14 Padang. And also to know the students understanding about mathematical concept by applying active types College Ball teaching strategy better than using conventional teaching stategy for students understanding. The type of this research was the VIII class of SMPN 14 Padang years 2013/2014. The sample of this research is taken by random. The experiment class was VIII2 and the control class was VIII3. The instrument of this research was the observation sheets in students learning activity and also the test for mathemarical understanding concept. The type of test was essay test. The techniques of data analysis was using test for one group by MINITAP software. The result of this research indicated that the students activity consist of oral and writing activities in mathematical learning by using active type College Ball teaching strategy has improvement. The hypothesis test by using MINITAB software in test, is got P-value smaller than α was accepted. So we can conclude that the students understanding in mathematical concept in the VIII class of SMPN 14 Padang which is use active type College Ball teaching strategy was better than the mathematical concept in the control class with conventional teaching strategy.

           The background of this research was lack of concept understanding of students couse study result of math of eight grade students of MTsN Durian Tarung Padang in the school year 2012/2013 are still low largely. This research aimed to determine whether studentsâ understanding of mathematical concepts by listening team type of active leaning strategy is better then the students understanding of math concepts with conventional. Type of this research is experimental, by design of random to the subject. The population in this study were eight grade students of MTsN Durian Tarung Padang in the school year 2012/2013. Technique of random sampling, was elected class ðð¼ð¼ð¼3 as an experimental class and class ðð¼ð¼ð¼4 as the control class. The instrument used was an essay test with reliability ððð=0.75. Based on the analysis test of studentsâ understanding of mathematics concepts for two class sample obtained experimental class average is 74.43 and control class is 62.45 with P-value = 0,004 is less than a = 0.05 this means that the ability of studentsâ understanding conceptâ of math by using listening team type active leaning strategy is better than study outcomes of math by using conventional learning at 95 % trusted level.

The research was due to the lack of studentsâ ability in understanding mathematic concept. The research aimed to find out whether studentsâ matematic understanding which were taught using spotlight technique better that of conventional learning. The design of the research was experimental research. The population was all students of grade IX SMPN 1 Gunung Talang. Based on the result of random sampling technique, grade IX4 was chosen as the experimental group, while the grade IX7 as the control group. The instruments used were essay test and understending concept indicators. The test consisted of eight questions, the reliability was 0,7695. The data was analyzed using one way t test whit MINITAB. Based on the analysis of hypothesis, it was obtained that the p-value = 0,003 was  a. Thus, the hypotethesis was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that studentsâ math concept understanding using spotlight was better than that of conventional technique at grade IX students SMPN 1 Gunung Talang

This research is motivated by the lack of understanding of mathematical concepts and students lack of confidence in his opinion. This study aims to determine how the activity and mathematical concepts student with the application of creative - productive strategy better than the students understanding of mathematical concepts with conventional learning students SMPN 2 Dua class VII Koto Pasaman. This type of research is the design of experimental studies Random Subjects . The population in this study were all students of class VII SMPN 2 Dua Koto Pasaman academic year 2012/2013. Than VII.2 class selected as the experimental class and the control class VII.3 . This research instrument is the final test in the form of essay. Data were analysis with a normality test , homogeneity test and t-test. Based on the analysis of data obtained by the average percentage of student activity during the learning process is increasing and the average results of tests students understanding of mathematical concepts experimental class was 79.48 better than the control class is 35.43 . Hypothesis testing using parties with the help of MINITAB, obtained P -value of 0.000 is smaller than a = 0.05 , so it can be concluded that the students understanding of mathematical concepts by applying creative - productive strategy is better than the students understanding of mathematical concepts conventional teaching class VII SMPN 2 Dua Koto Pasaman.

Background of this research is a lack of student interest in learning because learning is less fun and studentâs grade VIII SMPN 1 Kubung Kabupaten Solok cemprehension of mathematical concepts still low. The purpose of this research is to know what is studentâs comprehension of mathematical concept at grade VIII SMPN 1 Kubung Kabupaten Solok by using quiz team strategy better than convensional learning. The kind of this research is experimental research, with the research plan is random on subject. The population of this research is students at grade VIII SMPN 1 Kubung Kabupaten Solok academic year 2013/2014. Tecnique of analysis data is t-test one side by using minitab. Based on the analysis of the data found that the two classes are normally distributed and homogeneous samples at α is 0,05 and the results obtained from testing the hypothesis P-value equal to 0,001 means that α is smaller than 0,05. Hipothesis is accepted in this research, so that it can be concluded that studentâs comprehension of mathematical concept is treated by using quiz team strategy better than studentâs comprehension of masthematical concepts is treated by using convensional learning at grade SMPN 1 Kubung Kabupaten Solok
