The comprehension in mathematics concept for students is still low becomes a basic of this research. The purpose of this research is to know what is the comprehension of mathematic concept for active  learning type The Power of Two  with Handout better than for implementation of convensional learningâs students for grade IX SMPN 2 2x11Enam Lingkung in 2013/2014. The type of this research is experimental research by using random planning focused on subject. The populations are students in grade IX SMPN 2 2x11Enam Lingkung  in 2013/2014, which consist of five classes. Moreover, sample of this research is taken by random, IX3 is for experimental class and IX2 is for control class. The instrument of this research is the comprehension of mathematics concept test. The techniques of data analysis is using t test for one group by software MINITAB is got P-value = 0,001 smaller than    = 0.05, so this hyphothesis is accepted. The introduction of this research was the low of studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept and low of students activities. The purposes of this research was to determine studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept and students activities by applying active learning type instant assessment was better than studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept and students activities by applying conventional teaching class VIII of SMPN 25 Padang. Design of this research was experimental research random on the subject. The populations in this study was student of class VIII, the sample was class VIII.10 as the exsperimental class and the control class VIII.6. instruments in this study was a observation sheet and final test with essay. Data analysis was performed with the MINITABâS program obtained p-value was less than α, the hyphothesis was accepted. It can be concluded the studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept and students activities by inplementing active learning type instant assessment better than studentsâ understanding mathematical concept and students activities by applying conventional teaching class VIII SMPN 25 Padang.

The background from this research is a low comprehension studentsâ mathematics concept at SMPN 1 Pancung Soal. The aim from this research is to know the comprehension studentsâ mathematics which use Bisnis Beresiko Technique more better from a comprehension studentsâ with use a conventional learning. A kind from this research is experiment with random design to subject. The instrument is study kuesioner effectiviness and comprehension studentsâ mathematics test like essay with reliability test is  = 0,85. Analysis data technique which use is t-test in one side with Minitab. According to the hypothesis, the result P-value = 0,023 more smaller from α = 0,05, so that the hypothesis research is accepted. Studentâs comprehension of mathematical concept is relatively low for conducting this research. Purpose of this research to determine the students comprehension of mathematical concept by implementing cooperative learning model Snowball Throwing better than students comprehension of mathematical concept that apply to convention teaching of eightth grade student of Junior High School 17 Padang. This type of research is experimental research. The research population was a student of eightth grade at Junior High School 17 Padang. Sampling technique was randomly, selected class is the class VIII1, as experimental class and the class VIII2 as control class. Instrument used is final test with indicator concept of comprehension form of the test used is essaywith totaling 9 item question. Data were analyzed by using a normality test, homogeny test, and t test. Based on the analysis of data obtained by the average result of the students comprehension of mathematical concept experimental was 87.30 and 68.04 the control class student. Hypothesis testing using one side of t-test with MINITAB software, acquired P-value less than , so it can be concluded that the student comprehension of mathematical concept by applying cooperative learning model Snowball Throwing better than student comprehension of mathematical concept that applying conventional learning on student eightth grade at Junior High School 17 Padang.

This research is motivated by the study understanding of mathematical concepts still lace. The aims of this research is for knowing the achievement of indicator of studentsâ understanding of mathematical concepts at eight grade by applying Reciprocal Teaching approach with quiz are better than studentsâ understanding mathematical concept by applying conventional learning in SMPN 6 Gunung Talang Solok Regency. The kind of this research is experiment research by random design towards subject. The population of this research is studentsâ who are at eight grade in SMPN 6 Gunung Talang in 2013/2014 academic years. The sample of the class which is chosen is VIIID class as the experiment class and VIIIB class as the control class. Form of the quiz and the test is essay and after result of the analysis questions and got the reliable question. Based on the hypothesis testing got P-value 0, 001 less from α that is 0,05. The conclusion of this research that is studentsâ understanding of mathematical concept by applying Reciprocal Teaching approach with quiz are better than studentsâ understanding mathematical concept at eight class in SMPN 6 Gunung Talang Solok Regency.

The background of research causes of  students do not courage to question the teachers and  student less  understanding of mathematical concepts. This study aims is to determine students math concept comprehension with Questions Students Have strategy and quiz better than math concept comprehension with conventional learning. The research is experimental by using Randomized Control Group Only Design. Population is students in the class VIII SMPN 23 Padang. The instrument used is examination with reliability 0,81. To test hypothesis used t-test one side with MINITAB, obtained P-Value 0,000 less than α = 0,05, so hypothesis received. This research was background by the learning outcomes of studentâs mathematic in SMPN 1 Koto XI Tarusan was low. This was one of the factors may indicate the studentâs understanding of mathematics concepts was still low. The aim of this research was to determine whether studentâs understanding of mathematics concepts by applying study with Spotlight accompanied Call Card techniques better than understanding of mathematic concept in convensional study to the studentâs at the VIII grade in SMPN 1 Koto XI Tarusan. The type of the research was experimental research with random sampling techniques. The population in the research were the students of VIII grades in the school year 2013/2014. The selected sample was VIII.2 as the experimental class and VIII.3 as the control class. The instrument used in this study was the test of understanding concept in the form of essays. The data obtained were analyzed by using a normality test, homogeneity test and t-test. Based on mathematical final test value of the student in both of sample classes is got experimental class with  = 62 higher than the control class with  = 50. The results of uji-t are got t count value = 2.44 and         t table = 1.645, because of t count > t table consequently hipetesis in this research was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the ability of understanding of mathematic concept by using the study with Spotlight accompanied Call Card techniques better than the studentâs understanding of mathematic concept with conventional study to the studentâs at the VIII grade in SMPN 1 Koto XI Tarusan at the level of 95 %.

The research was by student compherension of math concept at still low in class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Padang. This matter is caused by activity read which is conducted by student in study less maximal as preparation learn and lack of active participation of student in study. This research aim to know what is compherension of math concept of student by applying method of SQ3R accompanied by Student Work Sheet (LKS) from at compherension of math concept of student by applying conventional study at class student of VIII SMP Country 11 Padang. This research type is research of experiment with device of random to subjek. Result of analysis of tes final at this research is obtained by data have homogeneous and normal distribution.Result of final tes of student conducted by hypothesis by obtaining P-value 0,010 and less than  that is 0,05 so that raised to be hypothesis to be accepted by at trust level 95% that is compherension of math concept of student by applying method of SQ3R accompanied by Student Work Sheet (LKS) from at compherension of math concept of student by applying conventional study of class of VIII SMP Country 11 Padang.

The problems find is by the studentâs understanding of mathematical concepts SMPN 35 Padang is low. This research aims to determine: 1) how the study activity of studentâs by applying a strategy College Ball to the studentâs understanding mathematical concepts in class VIII SMPN 35 Padang, 2) whether the studentâs understanding of mathematical concepts by applying active learning  strategies College Ball type is better than the studentâs understanding of mathematical concepts that apply to conventional teaching in class VIII SMPN 35 Padang. This type of research is experimental. Population of this research is student`s at grade VIII  SMPN 35 Padang. Technique of random sampling, VIII1 as experimental class and VIII2 as control class. Research instrument is the observation sheet students learning activities and the ultimate test with the reliabilitation of 0,94. Results of hypothesis testing with the -test it obtained,   = 2,82 and .= 0,17, obtained  ⥠. This means the hypothesis is accepted at the level of 95%. This research is based on opinions of the eleventh grade students of  Natural Science at SMAN 1 Lembah Gumanti that mathematics is a difficult, boring lesson. This is supported by the fact that their understanding of the mathematics concept is still low. This research is aimed at knowing the development of the studentsâ understanding of the mathematics concept who are treated by using Course Review horay method in combination with quiz and finding out whether the understanding of the mathematics concept of the students who are treated by using Course Review horay method in combination with quiz is better than the ones who are treated by using conventional teaching method. This research is an experimental research with random research design towards the subject. The instruments of this research were quiz and post-test. The test was given in the form of essay with reliability of the test equals 0.96. based on data analysis, it was found that the average of the experimental class studentsâ understanding of the mathematics concept was 79.75, higher than the control class who got only 74.24. based data analysis using MINITAB, it is found that P-Value = 0.037, less than . the H1 is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the understanding of the mathematics concept of the student who are treated by using Course Review Horay method in combination mith quiz is better than the ones who are treated by using conventional teaching method with the confidence level of 95%.
