<![CDATA[ABSTRACTÂ This research was conducted due to the studentsâ low understanding on mathematics concepts. Therefore, Everyone is a Teacher Here (ETH) active learning strategy was applied. This research was aimed at revealing whether the conceptual understanding of the students taught by using ETH active learning strategy was better than that of students taught by using conventional learning in class VIII of SMPN 4 Batang Kapas. This was an experimental research which used random toward the subject design. The population of the research was the students in class VIII of SMPN Batang Kapas. The instrument of the research was a test whore reliability was 0,91. Based on the result of data analysis it was found that the sample classes were normally distributed and homogenous. As the value of tcalculated > ttable, the hypothesis was accepted indicating that the conceptual understanding of the students taught by using ETH active learning strategy was better than that of students taught by using conventional learning in class VIII of SMPN 4 Batang Kapas. <![CDATA[ABSTRACT Thebackgroundfrom this research is comprehension studentâsmathematics concept was still low, and the studentâs didnât  focus on learning the teacher, the results visible of the eighth grade studentâs learn math SMP N 35 Padang. The aim from this research is to know the comprehension studentâs mathematics whice use active learning strategiesGuided Note Taking more better from a comprehension studentâs with use a conventional learning class VIII SMP 35 Padang. A kind from this research is experiment with the random desaign of subject. The instrument used this research is comprehension studentâs mathematics concept test.The type of test is essay with reliabilitas test is is 0.94. Theanalysis technique data usingon side test twith the help of MINITAB, According to the analysis of data it is know that the two classes are normally distributed and homogeneous samples at α = 0.05 and the results obtained from testing the hypothesis P_value = 0.016 is less than α = 0.05, so that the hypothesis research is accepted. It can be concluded that the studentâs comprehension of mathematical concepts by applying active learning strategies Guided Note Taking better than the studentâscomprehension of mathematical concepts with conventional learning studentâs in the class VIII SMP N 35 Padang.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACTThe background of this research were the studentsâ comprehension of mathematical concepts that still low and studentsâ less responsible for a given task. The purpose of this research was to determine whether the studentsâ comprehension of mathematical concepts by implementing active learning strategy type of Group To Group was better than studentsâ comprehension of mathematical concepts by implementing conventional learning in class XI IPA SMAN 6 Padang lesson year 2013/2014. Sampling was done randomly, which was selected XI IPA3 as the experimental class and XI IPA2 as control class. The research instrument was final test of learning that contains an indicator comprehension concept with reliability test r11 = 0.823. Hypothesis testing using the Mann-Whitney test. From the calculations, the value of z ⤠-1.9918 has a probability p = 0.0233; because the p-value was smaller than α = 0.05; than H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Based on the hypothesis test results concluded that the studentsâ comprehension of mathematical concepts by implementing active learning strategy type of Group To Group was better than studentsâ comprehension of mathematical concepts by implementing conventional learning.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACT  The background of this research was the lack of students motivation in teaching learning mathematics and result of students mathematics still low. The aim was to determined whether co-operative Talking Stick type toward students comprehension better than comprehension of mathematical concept by applied students conventional learning. This was an experimental research and applied random research toward subject. The population was eight grade of SMPN 15 Padang 2013 / 2014 .VIII.3 as experiment and VIII.2 as control. Instrument in this research was essay. Based on the data analysis, mean of experimental was 86,50  and control was 73,53, percentage of every indicator experimental higher than control . From the hypotheses testing got t-calculated 2,951 and t-table 1,697 , so t-calculated higher than  t-table. Can concluded that students comprehension of mathematics concept using co-operative Talking Stick type better than conventional learning at the eight grade students of SMPN 15 Padang.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACTThe research were motivated by the fear of asking students and issue an opinion on the matter is not yet comprehension and studentsâ comprehension of mathematical concept that still low. This study aims to assess the development of the math concept comprehension and determine whether the student math concept comprehension by implementing strategies Domino Game accompanied quiz better math concept comprehension that students using conventional teaching class XI student of SMKN 4 Padang. This was an experimental research which used random to subject. Hypothesis test used Mann-Whitney with minitab software, obtained that P-value smaller than α, 0,0005 < 0,05 so hypothesis is accepting. The researcher concluded that of student math concept comprehension by implementing strategy Domino Game with Quiz better than of student math concept comprehension by implementing conventional learning in class XI SMKN 4 Padang.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACTThe aim of this research was to reveal whether the understanding of  mathematical concept by using Guided Note Taking active learning model was better than by using conventional model. This was an experimental research which used random toward the subject desaign. The population of the research was the student in class IX of MTsN Bungus Teluk Kabung Padang in Academic Year 2012/2013. The instruments of the research were a quiz and a post-test. The data gathered was analyzed by using t-test. Basade on the result of data analysis it was found that the average score of the student in the experimental class (86,37) was higher than those in the control one (78,90). The result of hypothesis test indicated that P-value was smaller than α. Therefore, it was concluded that the understanding of mathematical concept by using Guided Note Taking active learning model was better than by using conventional learning.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACTLearning more dominated by teachers and students receive without actively thinking led to an understanding of concepts and low student activity. Learning model that utilizes the interaction of students in cooperative learning that is a model of NHT with ARCS. This study aims to determine how students understanding of concepts and activities that apply the cooperative model of NHT with ARCS. This type of research is experimental research. The population in this study was a class VII Koto XI SMPN 1 Tarusan Academic Year 2013/2014 except VII1 class. Class VII2 is a class of experimental and control class is VII3 class. This research instrument is the student activity sheet and test understanding of mathematical concepts. Data analysis techniques used t test. Based on the analysis of data known to both classes of normally distributed and homogeneous samples. Hypothesis test results obtained t = 1.85 is greater than ttable = 1.645 so H0 is rejected and accept H1. Concluded that the students understanding of mathematical concepts that apply to the model of NHT with ARCS better understanding of mathematical concepts than students who apply conventional learning in class VII Koto XI SMPN 1 Tarusan.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACTThe aim of this research was to reveal whether the mathematics conseptual understanding of the students taught by using Talking Stick cooperative learning model was better than that of students taught by using conventional learning. This was an experimental research which used random toward the subject design. The population of this research was all of students in class VIII of SMPN 2 Koto XI Tarusan registered in academic year 2013/2014. The instrument of the research was a test whose reliability was 0,813. The data gathered was analyzed by using t-test assisted with MINITAB. Based on the result of data analysis it was found that P-value (0,000) was smaller than α = 0,05 indicating that the mathematics conceptual understanding of the students taught by using Talking Stick cooperative learning model was better than that of students taught by using conventional learning in class VIII of SMPN 2 Koto XI Tarusan.]]>

<![CDATA[ This research is motivated by the lack capability of mathematical communication students as well as students are less interested in learning mathematics. This study aims to determine whether students capability of mathematical communication by applying hollywood squares review strategies better than the students capability of mathematical communication by applying conventional learning in class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Padang school year 2013/2014. This was an experimental research and applied random research toward the subject. Based on the perceived data analysis, the class sample has normally distributed and homogeneous. Data analysis techniques are used to test the hypothesis is not a party with the help of MINITAB software. Hypothesis test results obtained P-value= 0.000 is less than α= 0.05, then reject H0, so the hypothesis in this study received. It can be concluded that the capability of mathematical communication students with hollywood squares review strategies better than the students capability of mathematical communication by applying conventional learning in class VIII SMP Negeri 11 Padang school year 2013/2014. ]]>

It seen from the result of studentâs learning class VIII SMPN 3 Batang Anai Academic Year 2013/2014. The aim from this research is to know the studentâs uderstanding of mathematical concepts by implementing active learning strategies type Learning Tournament better than studentâs uderstanding of mathematical concepts with conventional learning class VIII SMP 3 Batang Anai. This research is experimental with random desaign on the subject. The instrument used this research is studentâs uderstanding of  mathematical concept test.
