<![CDATA[ABSTRACTThis research was designed for determining whether the mathematics conceptual understanding of the students taught by using Think Talk Write cooperative learning model was better than that of students taught by using conventional learning in class VIII of SMPN 28 Padang. This was an experimental research which used random toward the subject design. The data was collected by using a posttest on mathematics conceptual understanding. The result of hypothesis test showed that P-value (0,0000) was smaller than α = 0,05 indicating that the hypothesis was accepted. Thus, it was concluded that the mathematics conceptual understanding of the students taught by using Think Talk Write cooperative learning model was better than that of students taught by using conventional learning in class VIII of SMPN 28 Padang.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACTThis research is background by the student who less responsibility from assignment which given by teacher and the lack of understanding of mathematical concepts students are still low. The study aims to determine the understanding of mathematical concepts by implementing cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) better than an understanding of mathematical concepts with conventional learning class VII SMP Muhammadiyah 6 padang. This research is experimental, with random design on the subject. The instrument used was an essay test and observation sheets. Hypothesis testing using the U Mann-Whitney test with the MINITAB program obtained p-value = 0.0002 is less than α, then reject H0. It can be concluded that the understanding of mathematical concepts with cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) better than an understanding of mathematical concepts with conventional learning students]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACT This research was designed for determining whether the mathematics conceptual understanding of students class VIII.5 taught by using technique Numbered Head of Structured cooperative learning was better than that of students class VIII.6 taught by using conventional learning. This was an experimental  research wich used pre eksperimental design: static group comparison. The population in this research is the students in class VIII SMPN 28 Padang except class VIII.1 because it is superior class. The sampling was done by purposive sampling. The data was collected by using a on posttest mathematics conceptual understanding. The results of hypothesis test showed that P-value=0,036 was smaller than α=0,05, indicating that the hypothesis was accepted. Thus, it was concluded that the mathematics conceptual understanding of students class VIII.5 taught by using technique Numbered Head of Structured cooperative learning was better than that of students class VIII.6 taught by using conventional learning of SMPN 28 Padang.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACTThis research was background by students mathematical concept comprehension which was low, the students had low abblity just waiting the teacherâs answer and school did not provide enough text book for the eight grade students of SMPN 3 Koto XI Tarusan. The research purpose is to know students mathematical concept comprehension with applying cooperative learning strategy type Team Asssted Individualization better than applying conventional learning of eight grade students in academic year 2013/2014.  This type of research is experimental research with random sampling as technique interpretation sample and to be population were all students of class VIII SMPN 3 Koto XI Tarusan wich registed in academic year 2013/2014 that amount five classes. The instrument which was used in this research was mathematical concept comprehension test. The test which was essay with test reability = 0,87. Data analysis technique was test t oneside. The result of hyphothesis = 3,3890 and = 1,6785 because calculate > , so the research hyphothesis was accepted. It can be that students mathematical concept comprehension which applying cooperative learning strategy type Team Assisted Individualizaton better than conventional learning at class VIII SMPN 3 Koto XI Tarusan in academic year 2013/2014. ]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACTThis research background by students comprehension of mathematical concepts that were still low. The students didnât want to express their own idea, so they didnât want to ask about the unknown concepts. This researchâs purpose is to make sure that students comprehension of mathematical concepts using active learning strategy by Giving Question and Getting Answer is better than students comprehension of mathematical concepts using conventional learning for grade VIII students of SMP 28 Padang. This method of research was experiment research with random to the subject. The population research is grade VIII students of SMPN 28 Padang except class VIII.1 that was the superior class. Analysis technique used was t test one party by MINITAB and the result was P-value less than , so it can conclude that students comprehension of mathematical concepts using active learning strategi by Giving Question and Getting Answer was better than using conventional learning for grade VIII of SMPN 28 Padang.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACTThe background of this research is because the low understanding in mathematics of VII grade students of SMP Negeri 4 sutera. The purpose of this study was to determine how the development of students understanding of concepts during the learning of mathematics with a âBisnis Berisikoâ with quis and find out if the students understanding of mathematical concepts Junior High School VII SMP 4 Sutera that uses techniquesâ Bisnis Berisikoâ Quiz with a better understanding of the mathematical concepts students with conventional teaching junior High School VII SMP 4 Sutera. This is the kind of experiment research, with the subject random. The population of this research is all of VII grade students SMP Negeri 4 sutera that consists of and clasres. The sample is taken randomly and VII.1 as a experiment class and VII.2 as a control class. The instrument of this research is the quizzes to check progress of students concepts and find test with indicator consept understanding and sclaring based on analytic ârubricâ. The form of test is a essay concept with reliable test  is 0,873. The analysis data used is the test of t with MINITAB software. Based of result in analysis data found that two sample classes are distributed normally and having the homogeny variation in a level 95%. The hypothesis testing find P-value = 0,006 and itâs smaller than at  = 0,05. So, itâs can concluded that the studentâs concepts understanding by using âBisnis Berisikoâ technique is better than the conventional learning in VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 4 sutera.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACTThis research is motivated by the ability of  understanding the concept of mathematical ability of students is still low, and students are not accustomed to discuss. This study aims to determine whether students understanding of mathematical concepts by implementing  cooperative learning Make a better Match than the students understanding of concepts with conventional learning class VIII SMPN 1 Lengayang. This type of research is experimental research. Sampling Technique is random sampling, which was chosen as the experimental class and the control class VIII 3 is VIII 4. The instrument used in this study is the final test with a reliability study 0, 736. Based on the results of data analysis, the second class of samples are not normally distributed. Data analysis techniques use were Mann-Whitney test. Hypothesis test results obtained probality = 0,0478. Seen that probality  is the so the hypothesis of this study is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the students understanding of mathematical concepts by implementing  cooperative learning Make a better Match than understanding of the concept of the convensional learning students in class VIII SMPN 1 Lengayang. ]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACT This research was background by learning activity and mathematics conceptual understanding the students still low where students more understood explanation their friends than teacher. This research was aimed to description development of mathematics students activity and to knew whether the mathematics conceptual understanding of the students by using Reciprocal Teaching approachment better than that of students by using the conventional learning in class VIII of MTsN Model Padang. This was an experimental research which used random toward the subject design. The data analysis using t-test assisted with MINITAB was found that  greater than and P-value less than α value. This result signified that H0 was rejected. Thus, it was concluded that the mathematics conceptual understanding of the students by using Reciprocal Teaching approachment better than that of students by using the conventional learning. Whereas the development of mathematics students activity using Reciprocal Teaching approachment as generally was increased in each meeting.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACT This research was conducted due to the studentsâ low understanding on mathematics concept in class XI IPA of SMAN 13 Padang. This was intended to reveal whether the use of Quick on the Draw technique could improve the studentsâ understanding on mathematics concept better than that of the conventional learning. This was an experimental class. The population of the research was all of students in class XI IPA of SMAN 13 Padang registered in Academic Year 2013/2014. The data was collected by administering a test whose reliability was 0,858. The result of hypothesis test indicated that P-value = 0,014 < α (0,05) meaning that the hypothesis was accepted. At last, it was concluded that the use of Quick on the Draw technique could improve the studentsâ understanding on mathematics concept better than that of the conventional learning.]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACTÂ The background from this research is a low comprehension students mathematic concept at SMPN 2 Bayang. This is caused by system of student learning over memorization so students are easier to forget about the materials provided. This research aims to description the development of math students activity and to know that students math concept comprehension by applying active learning strategies (GQGA) better than students math concept comprehension using conventional teaching class VIII SMPN 2 Bayang. This type of research was experiment. The instrument is acomprehension students mathematics test like essay with reliability test is 0,9186. Data analysis was performed using Minitab test the obtained P-value = 0.026 so the research hypothesis is accepted. so it can be concluded that the students understanding of mathematical concepts that use active learning strategy type (GQGA) better than conventional learning eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Bayang.]]>
