Abstract

This study aimed to understand the characteristics of the fear of failure based on a young entrepreneurial career interests of students. This research is a qualitative research descriptive narrative with a phenomenological approach to the entrepreneurial young entrepreneur student member of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association at the Education University of Indonesia. Results from this study is the fear of failure that is divided into three major themes of the careers of the consequences, consequences on the psychological and financial consequences to the student.

Abstract

This article describes and discusses a comprehensive guidance and counseling, the role of parents as the non-direct service in a comprehensive guidance and counseling to create a supportive environment for students. In a comprehensive guidance and counseling, the role of parents is vital for counselors provide guidance and counseling services in school. Counselors surrender completely to the role of parents implementing of guidance and counseling services at home. Parents have a stake as a non-direct service by monitoring the development of children in the home as well as coordinate with the counselor to provide information such as progress reports of children (students).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai kondisi kecemasan lansia di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Sabai Nan Aluih (PSTW) Sicincin dilihat dari (1) respon fisiologis, (2) respon perilaku, (3) respon kognitif, (4) respon afektif. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif, dengan sampel 52 orang lansia, pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala pengukuran kondisi kecemasan lansia (SPKKL). Analisis deskriptif menggunakan rumus persentase untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi kecemasan lansia. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kondisi kecemasan lansia secara keseluruhan pada umumnya berada pada kategori sedang (44%), (2) ditinjau dari respon fisiologis pada umumnya berada pada kategori sedang (38%), (3) ditinjau dari respon perilaku pada umumnya berada pada kategori sedang (40%), (4) ditinjau dari respon kognitif pada umumnya berada pada kategori sedang (46%), (5) ditinjau dari respon afektif pada umumnya berada pada kategori sedang (46%).

Abstract

The research is based on the activity problem of guidence and counseling teachers in compiling the students learning data that currently it tends to be done manually. The research aims was to gain an overview of the effectiveness of the application of empirical KODA Sis (Combined Data of Students) in compiling the students learning data. The research used quantitative approach and pre-experiment in one group design. Sample consisted several junior high school teachers of guidance and counseling in district of Sukasari-Bandung in the academic year of 2013/2014 as the main respondent. Application of KODA Sis was developed from directive counseling approach as the basis of design concept. Stages of directive counseling approach was adopted as the name of the application features KODA Sis. The results showed that KODA Sis application is effective in improving the arrangement of student learning data set. Although KODA Sis applications have some limitations, but the innovative step of KODA Sis application is expected to be a basic model for further application development data set.

Abstract

This study  aims  to  examine  how  the  concept  description Up  the  Streets  Age  Child  and Adolescent why the concept of self can be created. This research approach is mixed namely quantitative and qualitative, sample number 36 street children in Rejang Lebong regency. Sampling techniques using purposive sampling method. Instrument used to analyze the self-concept of street children by using questionnaires and interviews. The results of the study half of street children Rejang Lebong regency feel confident become street children, feel more responsible, feel more appreciated and feel independent. find the courage to face any conditions for forged by the various conditions that passed over in the street and had to be alert through the remains suspicious with people outside their community. Street children feel that they have to attract the pity of others and look Lusu, but street children are not in school can not chant, deceitful, communicate disrespectful and prone act of criminality Street children also feel the need to have a sense of mutual help and sensitive in particular with fellow community and controlling emotions sometimes a bit difficult to control.

MEA be one challenge for the country of Indonesia. One way to prepare qualified human resources through education. The parties have a role to address the various challenges that arise and thrive in the world of education in Indonesia in the era of MEA is BK teacher/ counselor . Effective counseling interventions need to prepare qualified human resources in the face of the MEA , the Solution Focused Brief Career Counseling . In the counseling intervention , students are required to be able to immediately solve the problem of his career and making career choices that match their interests , talents and expertise so as to compete in the world of work.

Abstract

This study aims to know parents perception toward the implemetation of inclusive education of elementary school in Lampung. This study used survey method.  411.005 parents who speread into 5900 elementary school  in 2016 were taken  apart as population of the research. The research sample were 399 parents in eight regency/ city in Lampung. In collecting  the data, the researcher employed open- ended questionnaire.  The data were analysed using percentage formula. The research finding shows that 74% parents agree to the application of inclusive education in elementary school, whereas 26% parents disagree with performance of inclusive education in elementary school. The most reason agree on the implementation of inclusive education states that every child has the same rights, while the most reason that disagree with the implementation due to fear of negative impact when their children mixed with  special needs children.

Abstract

Traumatic experience makes a person unhappy and often overwhelmed with excessive fear. They need counseling for relieving the symptoms of the traumatic experienced. Sandtray therapy is a therapeutic technique that utilizes the sandtray as a medium in the therapeutic process. Integration sandtray therapy with solution focused brief counseling approach can help traumatized children to become more adaptive to the symptom of trauma and the purpose of counseling is to increase the resilience. Counselors use questioning techniques to help children traumatized by sandtray therapy with a solution focused approach with the aim of finding exceptions and setting of goals of counseling by the client to overcome the symptom of trauma. Trauma therapy model by integrating solution focused brief counseling with sandtray therapy that consists of creating stabiltas sense of security, reconstructing the trauma story and  improve relations with the society.
