Abstract

This study discusses the Prophet's preaching strategy in Medina. The issue is then broken down into research questions, namely: what are the steps of the Prophet's propaganda strategy in Medina? The object of this research is the steps of the propaganda strategy of the Prophet practised in Medina. The method used is using the method of documentation and analysis of historical texts. The results showed that the Messenger of Allāh do in carrying out da'wah had used the tactics and preaching strategy steps in Medina, starting from Mecca to his missionary journey in Medina. The implementation of the Prophet's preaching strategy steps in the form of preaching planning strategy, preaching organization strategy, preaching implementation strategy and preaching and controlling strategy and evaluation, all of which have been implemented in a strict and structured manner.

Abstract

This article tries to analyze the phenomenon of da'wah in the grave carried out by several religious leaders in the last five years. Da'wah which had been predicted as one of the innovative da'wah, is now no longer seen done by some of the perpetrators. So preaching with a model like this needs to be reconsidered. For this reason, this paper outlines whether this propaganda is still innovative at this time, especially in millennial circles. To find this out, the authors use Rogers' perspective on innovation. This perspective will look in more detail, whether propaganda in this way is an innovative propaganda. How if applied to millennial today, and how then Islam views an innovation. These issues are described in the discussions in this article, to answer some of the questions that arise, to later be a reflection of the missionary journey in Indonesia.

Abstract

This paper discusses the al-Jami Campus Da'wah Institute strategy in shaping religious understanding among students, al-Jami Campus Da'wah Institute is the first intra-campus institution in the UIN Alauddin Makassar environment, as the central preaching in the campus environment until now, as for the objectives the establishment of this institution as a means to instill understanding of Islam in the form of the values of faith, worship and morals among students, over time the Campus Preaching Institutions that exist on campus have emerged, so that the existence of LDK al-Jami sometimes does not have an existence as a missionary institution on campus in preaching because of the many preaching institutions that have sprung up, both in the name of intra and extra-campus institutions, the preaching strategy undertaken by the campus missionary institution by using several patterns so that it can attract students to join and conduct ongoing coaching through mentors ing, general studies, and special studies. This paper tries to examine the pattern of coaching conducted by LDK al-Jami in preaching in the UIN Alauddin Makassar environment.

Abstract

Basically Islam is very dominant form the behaviour of Bugis people in communicating because the value of Bugis culture has experienced the process of Islamization, namely when the entry of the element Sara' (Syari’at) colouring and become the spirit of the elements In Pangadereng so that the dance is no longer a stretch of religion with Islamic teachings. If a leader has a desire and determination to apply the Taro communication attitude There is taro gau, then realize in the leadership of his household, then it is an excellent effort in maintaining the house integrity His household. The Bugis people usually socialize in the family about the admonitions like this and will grow from individuals into families and will eventually become a unit of society implementing the Taro attitude their taro gau,  Four Principal value in the Taro Taro Ada taro Gau, namely Macca or to acca (smart), Malempu (honest), Magetteng na Warani (strong and brave) and Manini(thorough).

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the use of Makassar Language in Dakwah activity at South Bontonompo district, Gowa regency. The problem of this research involves the community understanding about Dakwah through Makassar language at South Bontonompo district Gowa regency; the implementation of in Dakwah through Makassar language at South Bontonompo district Gowa regency. This research used qualitative descriptive research with Normative and Dakwah approach. The researcher gets the data from community, Dai, public figure of South Bontonompo district Gowa regency. The method of collecting data are observation, interview, documentation, and literature review. Data processing and analysis techniques are carried out through three stages namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion making. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Community understanding of the Makassar language Dakwah in South Bontonompo district of Gowa Regency, namely: a) Da'wah is easier to understand, b) Da'wah is more touching, c) Da'wah is closer (emotional connection), d) Dakwah has meaning deeper; 2) The implementation of the Makassar language in da'wah in South Bontonompo District, Gowa Regency, namely: a). Makassar Sinrili, b). Makassar Kelong, c). Paruntu 'Kana Makassar, d). Pasang Makassar, as well as Khotbah and Lectures.

Abstract

Transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Administrative Staff. Human resources or employees must always be considered, maintained, and maintained, and developed by the organization. Therefore, the administrative staff is valuable assets owned by tertiary institutions in carrying out institutional duties based on the tri dharma of tertiary institutions. Descriptive research was conducted by interview and questionnaire distribution, while the Transformational Leadership variable with indicators of Idealized influence, Inspirational motivation, Intellectual Stimulation, and Individualized consideration or individualized attention, all had gone well. With these results, this study is in line with Bass (1985) in Yukl (2013, p.313) that transformational leadership is a condition where followers of a transformational leader feel trust,  admiration, loyalty, and respect for the leader, and they are motivated to do more than they initially expected. This condition is reflected in academic life at Makassar Islamic University which has a woman leader.

Abstract

The presence of many zakat institutions in managing zakat, infaq and sadaqah  nowadays is a fascinating thing. The zakat institution officially owned by the government of Makassar City which has succeeded in becoming a channel for distributing zakat especially ASN. However the presence of the other zakat institutions seemed to be an arena of contestation to win muzakki, which one of that was LAZNAS Wahdah Makassar, in which relying on the strength of their cadre networking.  This research is qualitative field research with descriptive-analysis method.  The conclusion of the research about the contestation dynamics of zakat institutions in Makassar City (Studied at BAZNAS and LAZNAS Makassar City, is namely (1) the dynamics of the miscoordination contestation especially BAZNAS vs LAZNAS and (2) the dynamics of reconciliation contestation especially LAZNAS vs. LAZNAS. In this study also  revealed the factors that encourage muzakki in distributing zakat, namely: (1) Structural Factors and (2) Cadre Networking Factors. In addition, the efforts to avoid potential conflicts of contestation in zakat institution can be accomplished in 3 ways (1)zoning of the performance of zakat institution (2) develops the program Strategy Plan, and (3) Internal Improvement of zakat institutions

Abstract

The early marriage is a classic discourse that has been pro-contra in the Madura people, both socially and culturally. Although, when referring to Islamic teachings, this early marriage does not violate the norms in Islamic teachings. The Madura people, especially Sumenep, views the early marriage as a culture that must be preserved. Because in Islam itself there is no Qur'anic argument or hadith that regulates the age of marriage. This reality seems to be a challenge for the da'i to answer the possibility of this early marriage.This study uses descriptive-qualitative research with the sociological approach of Peter L. Berger's social construction theory. The focus of this research is how the social construction of Sumenep over premature marriage.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the acceptance of millennial society towards the message of da'wah through social media in Bone District? The subject matter is then divided into several subproblems or research questions, namely: 1) What is the multimedia propaganda model on social media? This type of research is classified as phenomenology with methodological (qualitative) and scientific approaches (Communication, Da'wah and Sociology). Furthermore the data collection methods used are in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Then, data processing and analysis techniques are carried out through three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the multimedia propaganda model on social media currently has many variations that allow people to listen to preaching whenever and wherever they are. Among the models of preaching include: Audio Visual / video, Images and Animation. Audio visual is a da'wah model that displays sound and images (in video format). Some social media users feel the rampant Islamic material they read on social media links, make them more interested in studying Islam, feel they have a better understanding of Islam, and feel their daily behavior is becoming more in line with Islamic guidance. Islamic material on social media is also considered helpful for those who feel they have limited time to attend the study forums.

Abstract

Public opinion is an opinion, idea, or idea issued by internal or external public parties of an organization or company regarding an issue that arises. The internal or external public party obtains information about a matter either face to face or through the mass media. The creation of public opinion that develops in both internal and external public circles can assist companies in evaluating work programs in achieving the company's vision, mission, and goals. Public opinion is formed and is positive due to the existence of an effective communication process. The objectives of this study were to identify the strategies undertaken by PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk. in building communication effectiveness. The location of this research was carried out in East Luwu District, South Sulawesi where the company operates. The research method used is a survey method with quantitative data supported by qualitative methods (Mixed method). The technique of determining respondents through the method of sampling Morgan and Krejci. The determination of informants was carried out using the snowball technique. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Quantitative data analysis will be presented in the form of frequency tables and cross-tabulations, then qualitative data will be processed through three stages of analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the communication strategies and methods used in forming public opinion about the existence of the company and corporate social responsibility for the community were quite effective. So that a more optimal communication strategy is needed in order to create positive public opinion for both the company's existence and corporate social responsibility in the social, economic, and environmental aspects effectively.
